Your totem: how a totem animal determines character and destiny. How to recognize your totem

That is, we - women can freely interact with any animal, and take their qualities. At the same time, it is the totem that prompts a person to show certain qualities, at a certain point in time, when it is especially necessary for him. Through them, a person acquires more inner strength, opportunities to reveal his potential and know himself. It seems to me that totems mainly help us to know the strength of our spirit, and the unity and integrity of the entire universe.

It follows from shamanism that each person has his own power animal, even if he does not know about it. From there it follows that we do not choose our totem, but vice versa - the totem itself chooses a person for itself.

What is important to know about this:

1. A person's totem is usually a wild animal (rarely mystical)

2. A person has one main totem and several secondary ones.

3. A person must determine his totem himself. You can't have someone else do it for you. It's a very intimate relationship.

4. The totem can accompany a person for several years, and then leaves, others only act during the period creative activity.

5. Different areas in life may correspond to different totems.

6. There are no restrictions in working with totems, but the main thing is to learn how to communicate with at least one totem, and then you can already establish contacts with others.

7. A totem animal can leave a person due to a magical effect on this person, or because of some of his actions or illness.

Relations with the totem should be established and developed. It is necessary to express respect and respect for your totem. When your totem comes to you and helps you, mentally thank him for his help. The totem can grant you more physical strength, health, energy. It can help you make the right decisions, protect and protect you.

The presence of animal power does not mean that its qualities are already available and used; they are only present, waiting to be expressed and developed. According to shamans, one of characteristic features the presence of a totem animal in a person is that animals from this genus accept it as their own.

How to identify your spirit animal?

Well, if this question has become of interest to you, and you want to know the answer to it, this will happen.

The totem itself comes to the person. Most often in a dream (like natural crystals). Also, be more attentive to the signs of fate. The world gives answers to all our questions. Just be careful. You may find that images of your spirit animal are quite common around you. It doesn't have to be your favorite animal, and you don't have to like it. Relationships with your totem can be difficult. Your animal's spirit is your guide, and its training methods may not be pleasant.

The easiest way to find out your totem is to ask your spirit (your essence, that is, yourself) - there are all the answers to all your questions. Ask a question, stop your inner monologue - and the answer that comes first is the most correct one. You can ask several times after a certain time interval - if the options match, then this is the case. If the connection with the spirit is weak, then of course there will be discrepancies. To avoid this, you need to develop your intuition (that is, your connection with the spirit).

You can also apply a deeper technique:

Work with this channel occurs at the level of the 4th chakra (anahata), so it is necessary to pump it additionally. You can download in any way. Here is an example of this.

1. At the level of the chakra, an energy ball is created, in this case, an emerald color, and then it spins in two streams: ascending and descending. The ball is untwisted until clear physical sensations appear in the area of this chakra.
2. Create an emerald point in the center of the chakra. Next, move the consciousness to this point. We find in it an ocean of emerald-turquoise energy. Mental setting - "Life Force feeds my intuition." Then we arrange an "explosion" in such a way that all this ocean of energy flows into the anahata chakra.
The work itself:
1. After you have pumped Anahata, you create a mental setting: "I'm going to my Totem Animal."
2. With your inner eye, look into the anahata, which is literally bursting with energies, and find a dot there, also green, but a little darker.
3. Now with your Consciousness you need to ENTER this point. You will find yourself in an emerald corridor. Walk along it, remembering the mental attitude "I'm going to my Spirit Animal"
4. Very soon you will find yourself in a kind of INDEPENDENT space, where both colors and energy will be different from what you just imagined yourself.
5. Take a walk in the area. Then, on a FEELING level, send a signal of DESIRE (intention) to meet your totem.
6. JUST DO NOT DRAW IN ADVANCE the appearance of the one who will come to you. Just wait. It won't take much time, but you will see YOUR TOTEM, not YOUR IMAGINATION of it.
7. Chat with the totem, you can scratch him (her) behind the ear, if there is one and if it gives him pleasure.
8. When you talk, return to the green corridor and come to your senses.
9. Evenly distribute the rest of the emerald energy in Anahata over the entire volume of your physical body.

Each animal has its own spirit and its own talents. Although perhaps the totem is called to you to help express the implicit signs of the animal to which species it belongs.

Here are some characteristics of animal totems (the author of the characteristics is unknown, taken from the Internet, you can use it, although you will receive the most correct interpretations only from your own heart).

SQUIRREL
KEY CONCEPT: activity and readiness.
POWER TIME: all year round
Everyone is familiar with squirrels. The squirrel is a member of the rodent order. The squirrel is quite sociable, but dislikes strangers, even those belonging to its own species. She spends most of her time gathering food. It is not uncommon to see how a squirrel digs a hole and drags nuts and other food into it, making supplies for the winter. Thanks to its keen sense of smell, the squirrel always finds its pantries, even if it forgets where they are.
There are two main varieties of squirrels - gray and red. There are also black squirrels, which are more aggressive than gray ones. Gray squirrels are most often found in cities, while red squirrels are most often found in forests.
The flying squirrel is also known. In fact, it does not fly, but is capable of descending from a branch to the ground in a slow hovering jump or jumping from tree to tree. Unlike the gray and red squirrels, the flying squirrel is a nocturnal animal. She can't stand being disturbed during the day. The main natural enemy of the flying squirrel is the owl.
Red squirrels are watch forests. They raise a loud noise at the sight of any stranger. You may get the impression that they literally tell any news to everyone who can hear them. The red squirrel is inferior to the gray squirrel in size, but is much more aggressive and fights much better. The most dangerous enemy of the red squirrel is the marten, whose qualities should be carefully studied by everyone associated with this totem. Usually, red squirrels give birth to cubs twice a year; there are from two to seven babies in one litter. Already twelve weeks after birth, young squirrels are able to lead an independent life. If the red squirrel has become your totem, follow how it manifests itself in your life twelve-week cycle.
The gray squirrel is the largest and most active of all members of the squirrel family. Like all squirrels, it does not hibernate. Gray squirrels build their nests in hollows or on the tops of trees. The nest of a squirrel is usually spherical in shape and has one entrance hole on the side. Despite the fact that the gray squirrel is larger than the red one, when attacked, it prefers not to fight, but to flee. Gray squirrels also produce offspring twice a year, and their cubs also become independent at the age of about twelve weeks.
All squirrels are quite sociable. They arrange mock battles among themselves. They are very observant and know how to imitate each other. Toddlers learn this way - imitating adult squirrels. People associated with this totem better learn new knowledge in the course of practical work and not from textbooks.
Squirrels are "talkative". You can often hear their voices in the forest. They start talking animatedly whenever they are alarmed or just playing. A fluffy tail gives this animal a special expressiveness, which also serves as a warm blanket, sun umbrella and balancer. The squirrel often expresses its emotions by wagging its tail.
Each type of squirrel is unique, and contact with this totem, as with others, should be made on individual basis. But when meeting with any squirrel, think about how active and enough you are, but are you prepared for possible surprises. Are you too active? Or do you, on the contrary, have enough activity? Perhaps you have refused to make plans for the future. Are you being too chaotic? Perhaps you are too fussy, but what do you not have time for? Can you save time, energy, etc.? Do you fear the thought that you will never reach your goal? Perhaps you are too "obsessed" with savings and savings? Shouldn't you be more generous!
With the help of a squirrel, we will learn to observe the measure in giving. If you give too much to someone around you without getting anything in return, a squirrel will come to your rescue. Squirrel is a master of preparing for the coming changes, but she also reminds us that in the midst of worries, you always need to find time for communication and entertainment. Work and play must go hand in hand, otherwise work will become a burden.

The structure of the wolf pack cannot be called either strictly autocratic or democratic, in the full sense of the word. There are periods when the flock is completely subordinate to the authority of the leader, but at other times *democracy* reigns. It is due to this flexibility that the flock manages to survive. The characteristic gray coloration of the lynx reinforces this symbolism. Gray is the color of a cloudy veil that hides ancient wisdom and separates the visible from the invisible. LIZARD.
The lizard is a highly refined animal. Her movements are surprisingly agile. She has four legs, and in running she is able to develop great speed. Some lizards settle in human dwellings. They are beneficial as they destroy harmful insects. The gecko is one of the few reptiles with a voice, and this should be taken into account by everyone associated with this totem. The largest lizard is the giant Komodo monitor lizard that lives in Indonesia, sometimes called the "Dragon of Komodo Island". If possible, determine the species to which your totem belongs and study its individual characteristics.
Most lizards have long tails, which help them maintain their balance and also play an important role in defense mechanism. On the back of the lizard, as a rule, there is a crest, collar or spikes. All these growths perform protective functions and are endowed with an important symbolic meaning. Some lizards have collars on their necks. The neck is a symbolic bridge between the higher and the lower. Therefore, the lizard as a totem animal will teach you to connect consciousness with the subconscious, reality with dreams. With the help of a lizard, you can master the technique of controlling dreams.
Spikes and a ridge on the back usually indicate hypersensitivity chakras along the spine. Perhaps you are too - or not enough - sensitive? Are you too picky? Are you missing the obvious facts? The crest and spikes crowning the backs of some lizards may also indicate the activation of kundalini energy, stimulating perception on all levels - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
The lizard reacts to the subtle movements of insects. And in order to deceive the victim or protect herself from the enemy, she herself is able to freeze in immobility. These qualities indicate that your intuition and receptivity have been sharply activated, or that this will happen soon. Pay attention to the changes that are happening to you.
The lizard is distinguished from other reptiles by a number of interesting features. Like all reptiles, it has dry skin, and like many reptiles, the lizard has claws. However, its unique property is that the lizard feels the vibrations of the soil - perceives them with its paws, tail and whole body. She has not only sharp eyesight, but also fine hearing.
All these qualities symbolically correlate the lizard with psychic abilities and developed intuition. The magic of the lizard allows us to perceive the subtlest, barely noticeable movements and changes - both physical and intangible - and track them not only in reality, but also in a dream. Many Indian peoples associated the lizard with dreams. The images of dreams often contain information that we perceived, but did not realize. Dreams help us pay attention to it.
If you are connected with a lizard as a totem, trust your intuition first. The lizard is a symbol of heightened sensitivity. You are able to feel many things that others do not. You notice things that elude others. You hear even what was not said aloud. No matter how strange it may seem to you, learn to rely on your impressions.
One of the most notable features of the lizard is its famous ability to throw off its tail. If a predator grabs a lizard by the tail, it simply breaks off, and the lizard escapes unharmed. It will grow back pretty soon new tail.
So, another of the lessons of the lizard is the ability to get rid of unnecessary attachments. Sometimes it is necessary to break away from one's surroundings, or even to part with part of one's own, in order to fulfill one's duty or escape danger. The lizard awakens in us the ability to easily and painlessly move away from everything that burdens us. The lizard will help us break with the past. Meeting this reptile may mean that you need to take on new tasks and follow your impulses,
Like many other reptiles, the lizard loves to sunbathe. This is a cold-blooded animal, so to maintain normal temperature body, it needs an external source of heat. Basking in the sun, the lizard often pretends to be sleeping and thereby misleads insects flying by. The lizard's ability to pretend to be asleep while sunbathing is symbolically associated with control over sleep and dreams. As already mentioned, the lizard helps to better understand and use the dream state more effectively.

Totem animals are considered companions of a person throughout life - from birth to death. Find out which totem accompanies and protects you, determines your character traits and influences your destiny.

Totems are widely used in shamanic practices and lifestyles. In the rules of a happy life of shamanic peoples, which are suitable for anyone ordinary person, the presence of a totem is a symbol of harmony with nature and the beginning of all life - the Universe. But few people know that every person has a totem animal, regardless of whether he knows about its existence or not.

How does a person get a totem animal

A totem is a guardian spirit embodied in the form of an animal and carrying its features and habits. At birth, a person receives a guardian spirit, the qualities of which, according to fate, most coincide with the still sleeping qualities of the child's character.

If a child grows up in love, care and understanding, then the qualities of character laid down by fate develop harmoniously, and the totem animal closely interacts with the energy of the baby. In this case, the totem spirit may begin to manifest itself in life in a visible way: do not scold your child if he brought home a kitten, puppy, or tearfully asks for a second week to buy him a fish or a frog. It is possible that this totem of your child is incarnated in a physical body.

During life, totem animals may change somewhat, there may be several of them, but the main totem given at birth remains with a person and directly affects life, character and even appearance.

For example, a person with a Wolf totem most often has regular facial features, gray, gray-green or blue eyes, his figure is proportional, facial expressions are rich and expressive, and his character is secretive and calm.

How to recognize your totem

The guardian spirit can be invoked by you in meditation or in a dream: this will require training, but most often people quickly establish contact with their totem when the time is right.

Most often, the features of the totem appear in a person: do your friends tell you that you are cunning, like a fox? Or calm, like a well-fed boa constrictor? Or maybe you are so economic and restless that your relatives call you a squirrel in a wheel, unconsciously often applying this common image to you?

All of these signs can be a clear indication of the type of your totem. It also often happens that animals of your type are drawn to you: there are people that all cats are crazy about: even the most proud and impregnable are drawn to a person and become soft fluffy lumps, constantly climbing onto their knees.

There are also people who are not at all afraid of even the largest and most vicious dogs, and those, in turn, never growl, do not rush at them, but come up to be stroked and sniff their human counterpart with interest.

Such signs should not be ignored: it is quite possible that your totem has been giving you signals all your life that it is nearby and shows its appearance. You just need to take a closer look, listen to yourself and pay attention to which animals cause you the greatest mutual sympathy.

Today, the topic of totems and their acquisition has become quite popular. We get knowledge about this mainly from the shamanic practice of the Indians, which, fortunately, did not practically change the essence of the ancient teaching.

The Slavs, along with animals, also worshiped plants, so each clan had its own Animal or Plant patron (Totem). It personified the unity of the clan and its strength. Accordingly, this genus was forbidden to destroy or kill this plant or animal.

This animal or plant reflected the true strength of the family and its capabilities. Man correlated with this animal and, as it were, merged with him into one. At any moment, if necessary, a person could call on his totem for help and receive all of its unimaginable power.

Since the totem is a figurative-energetic representation of an animal, it contains the absolute strength of this type, although it also contains all the weaknesses and shortcomings, but more leveled than in an ordinary animal.

A person can also have several totems. The main condition is that they harmoniously coexist in one person. For if this is not so, the person will be irritable, changeable and may lose his own essence.

Often, with close communication with his totem, a person could get the opportunity to be a werewolf, and the skills of reincarnation from the body of an animal patron and back into a human body.

But first, let's learn how to define your totem.

There are many various ways definitions of your totem, but we will consider only the most basic of them, and already knowing the basics, everyone will independently select a convenient one for themselves.

There are 2 main methods: the so-called Totem Summoning and Totem Awareness.

With the Totem Summoning technique, you can use horoscopes and birth charts by year and month. Or just look at yourself with an open mind and highlight your strengths and your weak sides, and then pick up an animal that has similar traits. The closer the match, the better.

Remember the method itself, and I will voice the summoning technique a little later.

With the Totem Awareness technique, you need to go through the practice of diving into your subconscious, and the deeper the dive, the better. Most often, this method is used by the practices of meditation, self-immersion, or third-party help from an initiate (Magician, psychic, hypnotherapist, and others). The essence of the technique is that you set a goal (or a question before meditation) to find out who your Totem is, and when you go into a trance, you meet with him at the deep levels of your subconscious. This technique mainly reveals Ancestral totems, and patrons who have been protecting you since childhood. Whereas the summoning technique will summon the totem that you like best and whose traits you need.

Important! An incorrectly selected totem, with the method of summoning, can not only be of no use, but also cause serious harm. Therefore, the pursuit of "Ponty" and prestige in this matter is not acceptable. If you are not confident in your abilities, seek the help of professionals.

After you decide on the totem, or get to know it, you need to make or purchase a symbol of your animal or plant. It can be a figurine, a figurine, a medallion with an inscription, and so on. In general, everything that can symbolize it. The creation of a totem from noble (natural) materials is welcome. After that, you can carry such a charm with you, or leave it at home on a shelf, the main thing is to look at it more often and hold it in your hands, then your totem will work harder and harder every day. Gradually improving and strengthening your abilities and reducing your weaknesses.

For those who have used the summoning technique, this will serve as the technique itself, and after a while, when you notice the changes, you can be sure that the totem you desired has become yours.

Cat - The key ability of a cat is to always land on its paws - this totem makes its owners successful, evasive, and very dodgy people with a well-developed vestibular apparatus. He endows people with the ability to “sneak” what they want, makes it possible to sneak up unnoticed and quietly.
Qualities: independence, gentleness, curiosity, desire.
In addition to "pleasant" qualities, the cat totem can endow its owner with the power of a "hitman" - Make him ruthless, secretive and heartless. Another mystical property of cats is the possession of nine lives. It makes the owner of such a totem "more" tenacious.
Among the American Indians, the Cat is a sign of theft, so those who were engaged in the thieves' craft loved to call him.
From magical properties, also, it is worth noting the ability to cause damage, to see the invisible, the ability to cause rain, to heal. The traditional prey of a cat is a mouse - small rodents, but its diet is not limited to this. Cats are no less successful in catching birds and rabbits. The traditional enemy of a cat is a dog, although in reality the list of its enemies is much longer. And yet everyone who is connected with the cat as a totem animal should first of all study mice and dogs. The lynx is a loner, and if it turns out to be your totem, you also prefer solitude. The lynx will teach you how to be alone without feeling lonely. If the lynx is your totem, then it is possible that friends are used to telling you their secrets, since the lynx knows how to keep them very well.
Operating under the cover of night, the lynx will teach you how to use life force to achieve your goals silently and efficiently. The lynx does not like excessive popularity, so if you start talking with others about your relationship with this totem, its strength in relation to you may dry up. It is very important to learn when, to whom and how much you can talk about your personal affairs.
The keen eyes of a lynx will teach you to distinguish what other people are trying to hide, and will also give you the ability, by bringing an object to your face, to capture the energies of people and events associated with it.
If the lynx has become your totem, then it is possible that many people will become uncomfortable next to you. They will understand that you see what they do not want to show you, and hear what they diligently keep silent about. These abilities can turn you into both a skilled diplomat and a consummate manipulator. Learn to trust your feelings and impressions. If something seems wrong to you, do not doubt your conclusions - even if they are contrary to common sense. To awaken the ability to recognize the secret at a trot, learn to meditate and contemplate, sit more often and watch what is happening as a spectator. Watching how people behave and what they say.

Since the jaguar was a symbol of this deity, the Aztecs described it in the same way as Tezcatlipoca: “He lives in forests, rocks, waters; noble, noble. He is the king, the ruler of the animals. He is cautious, wise, proud. It does not feed on carrion. He is the one who hates and despises, who is sick of everything dirty ... And at night he does not sleep; he looks out for what he hunts, what he eats. His vision is clear. He sees well, very well; he sees far. Even if it is very dark, very foggy, he sees.”

There is only one caveat: if you have chosen a totem not domestic cat, but a wild predator, then it is necessary to watch a wild cat.
The same is true in other totem groups, for example: the canine family - dogs, wolves, foxes, coyotes, arctic foxes, hyenas, jackals; primate family - chimpanzees, gibbons, macaques, etc. Within the group there are always common qualities that allow people from the same totem group to interact well with each other.

The spider in the center of the web symbolizes the center of the world, the Sun surrounded by rays extending from it in all directions; The moon, personifying the cycles of life and death, spinning the web of time.
The Indians of America have a spider - wind and thunder, protection from evil.
Among the Egyptians, the spider is an attribute of Neith as the weaver of the world.
Among the Greeks, the spider is an attribute of Athena as the weaver of the world, as well as Persephone, Harmony and Fates (Moir) as the spinners of destinies; form of Arachne.
Among Indians and Buddhists, the spider is the weaver of the web of the illusion of Maya, and also the Creator as the spinner of the thread from his own substance.

In Hinduism, she is an attribute of the monkey god Hanuman, who has divine power and is the son of the wind god Vaiya. In addition, Hanuman is sometimes depicted with a monkey head.
Among the Mayan Indians, the God of the North Star had a monkey head.

Horse - An incredible number of myths and beliefs are associated with the horse. More than one book could be written about its significance, because no animal has played such an important role in the development of civilization as the horse.
The horse was associated both with funeral rites and with birth: the souls of people enter this world and leave it on horseback. The Scandinavian god Odin rode an eight-legged stallion. In Hinduism, stallions are harnessed to the chariot of the solar god Surya, and in Greek mythology, to the chariot of Helios.
In Chinese astrology, the horse is associated with qualities such as attractiveness and gift.
Horses symbolize freedom, and sometimes wildness. People born in the Year of the Horse are friendly, adventurous and often extremely emotional.
The horse was endowed with the ability to predict the future. There are many legends in which horses act as clairvoyant animals, capable of also recognizing people involved in magic. In mystical terms, a horse is one of the embodiments of a magical gift in a person.
The symbolism of the horse is rich and complex. The horse can represent movement and travel. It is possible that she became your totem to help you get moving and head towards your cherished goal. The horse can symbolize desires, primarily sexual desire. The stallion often served as a symbol of sexuality, and the taming of a stallion was a symbol of curbing sex appeal and dangerous passions.
Study your totem in relation to your own life. Pay attention to the color of this horse and think about what this color means to you personally. In what form does this horse appear before your mind's eye? Does she run? Or is it always worth it? Are you riding it or looking at it from the side?
If the horse has become your totem, then perhaps it is time for you to explore such aspects of your life as the craving for travel and the thirst for freedom. Do you feel limited in any way? Are you willing to leave the past behind and move on? Perhaps you should release someone from your environment? Or is it time for you to defend your own freedom and assert your power in some new areas of life? What are you doing to develop civilized relations in your environment? And what do people around you do for this? Do you appreciate the blessings given to you by civilization?
Entering our lives, the horse takes us on a new journey. It teaches us to move in new directions. With its help, we realize and discover our own freedom and strength.

Here is just a small list of those animals that are found in the world of totems. I hope I was able to please you with the description, and you found yourself in it. To my great regret, it is simply not possible to describe the diversity of all totems, and if for one reason or another your totem is not included in our list, then you can independently observe it and search for information. If something remains incomprehensible, ask, I will always be happy to lend you a helping hand.

Ask the Slavic meanings of totems personally. I warn you right away that I may not answer everyone, because this is sacred knowledge that requires the right attitude towards them.

Knowledge is the power with which you can resist many people and things ... Therefore, having knowledge of the totem, we get ourselves a reliable and faithful assistant, which is used in white magic as an astral protector. But how do you know your totem? What is a protector? Let's start by looking at what "Totem" is.

What is a totem? What are the totem animals and their meaning?

Totem is ancient sign, or a coat of arms with an obligatory image of an animal on it. Knowledge about him came to us from the deep past, when people united in tribes and for their protection they chose a beast that they worshiped, from which they asked for various help. As a result, a cult of worship of a certain animal with supernatural abilities was formed and, accordingly, was created. It is believed that people were endowed with the qualities characteristic of their chosen animal. Here are the most popular totem animals:

  • Leo - strength, courage.
  • Fox - cunning.
  • Jaguar - power.
  • Bear - self-study.
  • Turtle - perseverance, assertiveness.
  • Eagle - vigilance, foresight.
  • Snake - transformation, modification.

Collecting and carefully studying ancient information, esotericists found an old temple, where it was discovered, based on which, we can safely say that each person has his own totem patron or even patrons in the form of different animals. Thanks to him, the question: "" becomes, to some extent, more open. In more detail, each totem animal and their meaning, as well as the calendar itself, we will consider in other articles.

How to determine your totem?

So, everyone has their own totem animal, which is always nearby and, if I may say so, sleeps and waits for you to wake it up. Shamans, magicians, various psychics know their astral assistants and are perfectly able to use their support or protection. There are also the most ordinary people who communicate with their totem friend, receive all kinds of help, tips and are unaware of their connection.

Unfortunately, we personally cannot choose a totem animal for ourselves, but it is quite possible to determine which animal chose us. That is, the question: ”, changes to the following: “Which totem animal chose us?”. To answer this question, you need to perform certain rituals or, with the help of meditation, immerse yourself in the changed mental condition and go in search of the astral world.

How to find your totem? Several ways

1. Journey to the subtle world.
In order to make such a journey and acquire or meet your totem animal there, it is necessary, first of all, to observe all of the following.
First you need to go to nature, choose a suitable clearing, kindle a fire, bring water, sit comfortably, but so that your face must look to the West. Try with eyes closed relax, just breathing deeply, clear your head of all kinds of extraneous thoughts, feel how you dissolve and only after that say the following:

"I conjure with the forces of the four elements, my keeper, appear! I - your master - call on you! With the power of water, earth, fire and wind, I conjure with my name! Kind of guardian of my kind, guardian of my soul, my protector, totem, appear!".

Next, you need to remain in the same state with your eyes closed. Just observe what you see, feel, and maybe even hear. If you don’t see anyone in the near future, repeat the call, but more confidently and persistently, then, in the near future, your totem will have to come and you will find out who it is. In the event that the totem animal does not appear even after the second call, you will have to look for the owner of all totem creatures. To do this, look at everything that will surround you with your inner eye, feel how you are flying, mentally call the owner. When you nevertheless see the owner, and his appearance can be anything, you will understand that it is him, talk to him and ask him to bring you your totem animal, for a certain reward, which one you agree personally.

It is not uncommon for you to fail, see nothing, or fail to immerse yourself in desired state. There is nothing terrible in this Few people get it right the first time.. Practice at home to start, learn to relax and breathe properly, and then repeat the above ritual in nature.

2. Get or see your spirit animal in a dream.
Here, it would seem, everything is simpler, but before going to bed, you need to tune in correctly, want to see an animal in a dream and fall asleep with thoughts about it. As a rule, the astral being itself will find you in your dream and will communicate. The main thing, don't forget who you saw and try to call on this particular animal in the next dreams.

When the contact is established and no matter in what way, you can in real time and in the usual state mentally call on your protector for help in emergency situations, who will, as it were, enter your body and give you his superpowers for protection. Also, with good observation, you can determine whether your loved ones, relatives or friends have a totem pet. A sign that there is can be that, which is a totem certain person, will never want to threaten him and will perceive him as a relative. For example, a person has a totem - a snake, therefore, not a single snake will ever touch him! The totem animal is a cat, the same thing, but when they meet on the street, cats will always boldly approach him, rub and try to communicate ...

Remember that for a magician or shaman, the connection with the astral protector is very great and only brings benefits, but only if you never tell anyone that you have a totem animal and which one! We assume that the answer to the question: "How to determine your totem?" we found, but we will try to reveal a separate characteristic for each type of totem animal in the following articles.

Good day, friends!

Today we will talk about how to identify your spirit animal using intuitive methods. The totem animal is our reflection in the animal world. It accompanies a person throughout life, helping him to develop his strengths, overcome obstacles and even find your destiny.

There are ways to determine totems using calendars and horoscopes, in which you can recognize your totem by date or time of birth. However, there are about 15 such calendars, each of them has its own patron animal. It is clear that such horoscopes can give food for thought, but in the end you still have to determine the totem yourself.

If it is important for you to understand which of the animals is really your totem, then I invite you on a journey through the world of my intuition.

Today we will talk about how to meet your totem in meditation and lucid dreaming. For those who, for some reason, are unable to use this moment these practices, I prepared some special questions. They will help you awaken your intuition and understand which animal is yours.

Why I Choose Intuitive Totem Detection Methods

I am convinced that all information about a person is stored in his subconscious. Only the person himself knows who he really is. Of course, in order to extract some information from the subconscious, you need to trust your intuition, and perhaps this will not work out the first time.

Sometimes intuitive insights can come unexpectedly, and in this case we will talk about the so-called insight.

There are people who, by virtue of their psychological features use intuition constantly as the main source of information about our world. For others, for insight, it is necessary to prepare the ground - to free your mind from interference, to prepare your consciousness for perception.

It takes time, but trust me, the game is worth the candle. On my blog, I will talk a lot more about the role of intuition in human life, because I believe that it is with the help of it that we can see things hidden from the eyes, look into the essence of phenomena and events, consider the emotional state of another person, know ourselves better, find a way out from difficult situation and much more.

AT modern world priority is given to the main logic. In no way am I belittling the importance of the mind, but I believe that without the connection of intuition, it can be blind and one-sided. In turn, intuition without a reasonable beginning is capable of taking a person to unknown distances, tearing him away from real life. Most the best option- when there is a balance between all ways of perceiving reality.

What is intuition at its core? This is experience, knowledge accumulated and embedded in us by nature itself and our personal experience as well as previous generations. We are parts of the Universe, and at the cellular level we carry information about its structure and laws.

It is also our own experience, formed in the process of our life. If it is correctly extracted, correctly interpreted and correctly used, then intuition can become our best friend and invaluable assistant. However, let us return to the definition of our totem.

In meditation

And the first method I want to introduce you to is meditative. In fact, this is not meditation at all in the classical sense, but rather an exercise in visualization. However, there are elements of meditation in it, and therefore I decided to leave this name.

There are several readings on the Internet (videos and texts) for finding animal strength, however, in my opinion, they all have one significant drawback. The fact is that your totem animal can be any creature, from an insect to a bird. It can also be an inhabitant of rivers and oceans, deserts and steppes, caves, villages and ... cities.

It can live in any element and any locality. And in such recitations, you are offered already set conditions. Usually this is a forest clearing where you come and summon your totem. Yes, it lives in the forest a large number of animals, but you are unlikely to meet there, for example, a dolphin. Or a rooster.

A being can come to you from air, earth, water, and even fire, so the "experiment" must be clean and environment and the environment was not "imposed" on you in advance.

For this I will share own meditation- she once helped to identify the totem to my friends. I compiled it on the basis of the classic relaxation-journey, which I was taught many years ago in hypnosis courses.

Tip: record the recitation on the recorder, starting with the next paragraph. It's best to do it under own voice, because we trust him the most, which will allow us to relax and immerse ourselves in the process as much as possible. Before recording, read everything once to yourself, so that later the recording is smooth. Please note that in some places it will be necessary to pause.

So, take a comfortable position. It's better if you sit. You can also lie down, however, there is a risk of falling asleep at the most crucial moment. Close your eyes, take four deep breaths and exhale. If you are doing classical meditation, use your usual method of entering it. If you are doing the exercise for the first time, just listen to your breathing for a minute.

There is no need to breathe in some special way, to increase the flow of breath or, on the contrary, to restrain it. Breathe normally. And just feel, listen to your breath. This will relieve tension and enter the desired state.

In the meantime, I begin to pronounce the text. At the end of it, you will meet your patron animal. If the answer comes to you before the end of the text - this is absolutely normal.

In the exercise, you will need to close your eyes and do not open them until the words “Meditation is over” are heard. We close our eyes.

Imagine that you are in a place where you feel good and calm... Perhaps this place is familiar to you, or maybe you will find yourself in it for the first time. Look around you as much as possible... Take a closer look... What do you see next to you?.. What do you see in the distance?.. Is it possible to see what is behind you?.. Left?.. Right?.. Listen ... Do you hear any sounds? Listen to them... Feel your body... Do you feel something? Temperature, humidity, smells?..

Can you move around?.. Make a move to explore the space. Perhaps there are corners in it that you have not yet seen. Move to them, explore them... You constantly feel something... See, hear, feel something... Do you feel the temperature?.. Smells?.. Stay in it...

Now imagine that you are looking at the space around you again... Explore it even more... You came here to find your spirit animal... You know that it is somewhere here, and the meeting is ahead...

You feel that some creature appears a little further away... If necessary, look around to find it with your eyes... Now try to get a little closer to it... Look at it a little closer... If necessary, get closer.. .

And here it is in front of you. Greet him and ask him his name...

Listen carefully to the answer... Repeat and memorize the name of your totem - now you can refer to it whenever you wish. Say goodbye to your animal and thank him for coming to you.

Now listen to your breath. Then inhale and exhale 4 times.

The meditation is over. Open your eyes. Congratulations, you have found your totem. If you did not succeed the first time, do not despair - do the exercise again, and you will definitely succeed.

In a lucid dream

You can meet your totem in a lucid dream. To do this, of course, you need to master the practice of entering a lucid dream, which I talked about in the article. For those who do not yet know what a lucid dream is, I will say a few words.

A lucid dream (or lucid dream, as it is often referred to in the Internet space) is a dream in which a person is aware that he is dreaming. Those. during sleep, a person's consciousness is awake, and he understands that what is happening around him is just a dream. He can act consciously in it - change the environment, do whatever he wants, and even own will can get out of it, i.e. wake up.

In fact, lucid dreams are not uncommon. Many people have experienced such a state at least once in their lives, even by accident. If you had a similar experience - share in the comments here, I would be interested to know about it.

Personally, I have been intentionally going into lucid dreams for a long time, although my first random experience was a complete surprise to me. Of course, I can talk a lot about lucid dreams, but the topic of today's post is the definition of your animal power. And now we will find out how to do this using the exit to the OS.

Before going to bed, you must definitely set yourself a goal - "to see a totem animal in a dream." By the way, you can find it in an ordinary dream, it is not at all necessary that it will be lucid. However, through a lucid dream you will be able to do this purposefully and more quickly, and you will also have the opportunity not only to meet with your totem, but also to receive some information from it.

So, before going to bed, you need to tune in to the fact that tonight you will see your totem animal. By itself, the goal already increases the chances of having a lucid dream. The more specific your goal, the more likely it is to enter the OS and, accordingly, to achieve it.

Once you are in the OS, you can act in several ways:

  1. Just call your spirit animal. And peer into the space in front of you, or look around - you will see it.
  2. You can close your eyes with the intention of seeing the animal when you open them. Then, accordingly, open your eyes and meet him.
  3. You can imagine that the creature is standing behind you, slowly turning 180 degrees and looking at it.

However, it is necessary to proceed from the situation in which you found yourself in a lucid dream.

If this is a room, you can imagine that the power animal is behind the door and open the door. If the sea, then you can find it at the depth of the underwater kingdom. If you feel that your totem is not in this area, you will need to close your eyes with the intention of then opening them and seeing exactly the area in which your totem animal lives.

For those who have extensive experience entering the OS, all this will not be difficult, intuition will tell you how to act in a given situation. In the OS, you can even take a book from the shelf and read the name of your totem, or open the box and see a piece of paper with an inscription in it.

However, the most interesting thing, of course, is to meet the animal itself. So you can consider him and even ask him a few questions, in general - to communicate with him directly.

When you find your power animal, don't forget to ask for its name - you'll need to refer to it later.

The name can be both quite ordinary and rather peculiar and difficult to remember. Repeat it several times to yourself. There will be a separate article on how to establish contact with your totem, but for now I will move on to the next method.

Intuitive-analytical way

Some people achieve good results in finding their totem using an intuitive-analytical method. In fact, this is reflection and reflection aimed at a specific result. So that in the process of thinking you are not distracted and do not go astray, I have prepared for you a few special questions.

As you read the question, try to hear the answer within yourself. Don't rush, it may not come right away.

So the questions are:

  • What animal did you like the most as a child?
  • When you go to the zoo, which animal do you want to see the most?
  • If you creative person(write poems, songs, stories, draw, create something with your own hands, etc.), is there any animal that is periodically present as a character in your work?
  • If you were invited to a carnival, which animal would you like to dress up as?
  • If you were told that you would spend your next life on a planet similar to earth, but there are no people there, but only animals, and you can now choose what kind of animal you would like to be, which one would you choose?
  • Is there an animal that you saw several times in a dream? Or with which a very vivid, memorable dream is associated?
  • If you were an artist and created a masterpiece by drawing an animal, who do you think it would be?
  • If a wizard offered to make an amulet for you, putting magical symbols on it in the form of the name of some animal, what name would you ask to put on it?
  • Have you ever been given figurines or other souvenirs in the form of animals that are not tied to certain thematic holidays (such as, for example, the year of the dog or the animal according to your zodiac sign)? Are there any among them that have been repeated several times?

What thoughts came to you as you answered the questions? Did you manage to get an answer? Share your opinion in the comments, I think it will be interesting not only to me, but also to other readers of the blog.

Conclusion

So we looked at intuitive ways to find a totem. I hope one of them will definitely help you.

And I do not say goodbye to you, see you on the pages of my blog!
With warmth to you
