We draw the hind leg. The hind leg is much more difficult to draw than it looks, so don't press too hard on the pencil. You may have to erase a not very beautiful foot and redraw it.

Stage 5
At the fifth stage, we draw stripes on the paws and thicker stripes on the back. We draw a tail and make stripes on it.

Stage 1
As you can see in the picture above, our cat is in such a position that her front legs are standing, but at the same time she is sitting on her hind legs. That is why her figure turns out to be elongated and that is why we draw three circles that are connected by lines.

The topmost circle must be divided as shown in the figure. This is necessary for the future muzzle. Do not press too hard on the pencil, because most of the lines are auxiliary and will be erased.

Stage 2

How to draw a sleeping cat for kids? Very simple! It is drawn in just 6 stages and a child of about 9 years old can complete them. Let's start!

Stage 1
In the first step of our second cat in the cat drawing lesson for kids, we draw a circle :) This will be the head of the cat. Then we divide the circle in half vertically and slightly below the center horizontally.

Stage 2
We detail our circle. We draw eyes, a nose and a mouth. In our example, the eyes are closed in pleasure:3 But you can draw them open, although if you remember that we are drawing a sleeping cat, then open eyes would be inappropriate here.

Hi all! In this tutorial I will show you step by step with a pencil and then color it with colored pencils. We will draw a Maine Coon cat.

• simple HB pencil;

Step 1. To draw a cat, you first need to sketch out the basic proportions on clean slate paper. Step 4 Now apply dark pink color to the nose and paw pads. Then add a light layer of dark brown to the head and torso areas. Emerald green paint over the irises of the eyes. Fill the pupils with black, leaving white reflections on each of them.
Step 5 We continue to color cat. Apply some jasmine color to some parts of the body, ears, nose and around the mouth. Then - French gray on the muzzle and body areas, using short lines and following the direction of hair growth. Using medium pressure, add a layer of chartreuse to the iris, then apply black to the sides of the nose and mouth. Next I apply the henna color to the paw pads and use short lines dark gray to highlight the fur on the paws. Then use medium pressure to apply cool gray to the underside of the chin, belly and paws, marking the shadows. On the paws, I make a stronger pressure. Apply a layer of burnt amber in short lines over jasmine on the head and body to deepen the color. Add long strokes of burnt ocher and French gray to the tail, and some French gray to the fur inside the ears.

Draw cat eyes

The shape of the cat's pupil changes depending on the lighting. For example, in the dark, the pupils become larger and take on a more rounded shape, as in the example below, while in daylight hours pupils may look like tiny vertical slits. When you draw a cat or a cat from the front, make sure that the pupils are directed straight ahead. Also keep in mind that the whites of a cat's eyes are much less visible than a human's, as the cat's pupil occupies a much larger area.

Step 6 Apply cool gray to sides neck, making sure that the mustache is not painted over; then apply the same color all over the body to darken the fur. Add little blue specks to the pupil reflexes, and then blend it into the white. Next, apply bright yellow over the chartreuse on the iris, making the eyes more expressive. Shade the sternum and neck areas, and the mustache with a cold light gray, they stand out more. Apply the same color to the lower abdomen.

After that, look at the drawing from a distance to determine what other areas need more color. For more contrast, add some more burnt ocher to the same areas, and black to the dark areas of the coat. Then use a hard brush to blend and soften the colors. Do this very carefully, as overdoing it can smear the entire drawing. Eyes should not be shaded, it is better to leave them clean and luminous.

1. Simple contours of the shape of the torso and head

Draw freeform two intersecting circles for the torso and a slightly higher circle for the head. Please note that the contour of the head is narrowed down. The muzzle of a cat is usually slightly elongated, while in a cat it is often round, like a saucer. 2. We continue to draw the initial contours

First of all, draw the vertical lines of the cat's legs. It's not difficult at all, just note that they start from the neck. It is also easy to draw two tail lines and triangular ears on the head.

3. Remove extra contour lines from the cat drawing

4. Drawing detail

This step is very easy, look at my drawing of a cat and add the necessary strokes. Don't forget to only draw the eyes in detail and the claws on the paws.

5. Finish drawing the cat

If you decide to draw with a simple pencil, then you can use "my" coloring of the cat, using the simple pencil technique. But the picture will look much more beautiful if the cat is colored with colored pencils, of course, provided that your cat has a colorful, variegated color, and not pure white or black.

6. Drawing a cat on a graphics tablet
