Competition Description

Every kid has their favorite winter fun. Sledding, skiing or skating, sliding down an ice slide, making a snowman, playing snowballs. Or maybe build ice castles and draw directly on the snow?

Invite your children to draw pictures of their favorite winter activities and make up a short story about their impressions of the bright and fun moments of winter walks. Send all your drawings to us for participation in the VI All-Russian annual competition of children's drawings "Winter Fun"!

Terms of participation in the competition

The participants of the competition are preschool educational institutions. Competitive drawings are made by children aged 2 to 7 years on the theme "Winter fun".

The figure should show: winter entertainment and fun.

The image should be interesting and bright. The drawing can be made in any technique on A4 or A3 paper.

Be sure to give the picture a name and write a mini-story. The mini-story is required and must contain a description of the loved one. winter entertainment, funny or funny case etc. The child must draw and compose the drawing and its description. If he still does not know how to write, an adult can do this, but verbatim from the words of the child. The work must be original and made specifically for this competition.

Send scanned drawings or their photographs to the competition (the number of drawings is not limited). Separate files are required in the letter:

Lesson progress:

At the beginning lessons children are invited to consider a reproduction of a painting, illustrations depicting winter games , listen to an excerpt from a poem by A. S. Pushkin « Winter morning» .

What happens to nature in winter? What colors are dominant? Do you love winter? For what? What games can you play in the winter in the fresh frosty air? Do you like hiking in winter? What is the best way to dress outside in winter so as not to freeze? What mood do you get while playing games in winter?

After the children answer the questions, offer to compare the two drawings. Who is depicted on them? What are the children wearing? How do they differ from each other? Find out if they could draw the same cheerful children winter walk?

Offer to carefully look and listen to a story about two palms that help children paint!

But, in order for the drawing to be complete, in addition to the snowman, you need to draw something else. An excellent solution to the drawing, on the theme "Winter Fun", is the image of a snowman on a snowy street. You can draw it in 6 steps:

• First you need to delimit the horizon. In our case, it will be somewhat curved, which will help to betray the pattern of volume. On the left - you will need to make sketches of the future fence, on the right - trees located in the distance.

• We decorate the fence by drawing straight lines along its entire length. Behind it there will be trees, the drawing of which will need to be done at this stage. The closer the trees are to us, the larger they are. We draw the silhouette of a snowman - these are three circles, arranged from larger to smaller.

• At this stage, you need to draw the tops of the trees. In order to simplify the task, you can create their general silhouette without drawing branches. The snowman has facial features, a bucket hat. You can also depict hands that will become tree branches.

• In the hands depicted in the previous step, you will need to draw a spruce branch. From the side of the hand where the branch is depicted, we designate the top and trunk of the upcoming fluffy Christmas tree, after which we proceed to its image in the drawing with a pencil.

• Having drawn the Christmas tree, we begin to make out the drawing. Since the picture shows winter, it is necessary to draw snowdrifts and snow lying on the fence, trees, snowman.

To do this, with the help of an eraser, carefully wipe the main lines, and draw the adhering snow in the erased area with uneven lines.

If you read school programs according to the "iso" of the seventies of the last century, then there are all the time: "May Day demonstration", "Demonstration on November 7", "Subbotnik" ... It's even wild to remember somehow. You read and think: what were the forced-patriotic topics before, it’s good at least now they don’t torment children with this.

However current topics, in fact, differ little from those - they are just as imposed, invented by adults and have the same artificially peppy flavor. The theme "Winter fun for children" is no exception. By themselves, neither kindergarteners nor schoolchildren would ever think of capturing their impressions of the winter games on paper. I say this to prevent pink bubbles and tender exclamations about the fact that cute crumbs love to draw winter so much! Yes, they love, if you press hard and force them.

But - closer to the point. We as teachers SHOULD participate in competitions. There is a problem - it is necessary to solve it. Children practically cannot draw a human figure in motion and have no experience of observation. I myself, too, have not had this experience of watching children play. I can draw winter fun by imagination, but it will turn out artificially. Because you have to draw from nature! However, it is weak for me to go with an easel to the playground in winter. Then - according to the photo. It wasn’t there - neither adults nor children are eager to get into the lens of a stranger. So, we are looking for photos on the Internet.

Here is a great picture: the girl swung hard, about to throw a snowball. It is clear that she is posing. But even such a staged pose is incomparably better than the legions of men in caps with pom-poms playing snowballs at attention in ordinary children's drawings.
