Later, the singer moved to the Electroclub group, in which Irina Allegrova and Igor Talkov worked at that time - the latter was just about to embark on a solo career, and Saltykov replaced him. In 1990, he himself began performing solo and continues to do so today.

Victor Tsoi

Another Leningrader, Viktor Tsoi, was born in 1962. As a child, he was interested in music and drawing. And so I went to study at art school and there he created his first Music band- "Ward №6". True, continue creative work he failed - from art school he was expelled for poor academic performance. But music career turned out much better.

In 1981, Tsoi organized the group “Garin and Hyperboloids”, which quickly changed its name to “Kino” - it was this group that was destined to become a cult and one of the most successful groups of its time.

In parallel with musical career Viktor Tsoi starred in films, one of the most famous films with his participation - “Igla”.

Viktor Tsoi died in 1990. He died in a car accident. He was 28 years old.

Chris Kelmi

Chris Kelmi (his real name is Anatoly) is a Muscovite. He took his pseudonym in honor of the hero of the novel “Solaris” by Chris Kelvin. At the age of 4, he began to become interested in music and play the piano. He graduated from music school, but went to study at a technical university - the Institute of Transport Engineers. But after that, he still entered the school. Gnessins (where he studied together with Vladimir Kuzmin).

Chris Kelmi began his career in the seventies, moving from one musical group to another. The most successful of them was “Rock-Atelier”, where Alexander Barykin and Olga Kormukhina once played.

In 1987, Kelmi came up with an idea that was fashionable at that time - to unite the most famous musicians and record a common hit. This was the song “Closing the Circle,” among the performers were Alexander Gradsky, Andrei Makarevich, Konstantin Nikolsky, Zhanna Aguzarova, Valery Syutkin, Alexander Ivanov and many others.

Since 2000, Chris Kelmi has pursued a solo career.

Vyacheslav Malezhik

First musical instrument Vyacheslav Malezhik had a button accordion; it was on it that he gave home concerts for his family and played at friends’ weddings. Only then did Vyacheslav switch to guitar.

He began his career in 1969 as a vocalist of the group “Mosaic”. Like many, he moved from one group to another (among them were “Jolly Fellows”). Fame overtook him in 1977 as part of the ensemble “Flame”, where he began performing his own songs, which quickly became hits - the public liked their lyricism and melody.

The most famous songs: “Fellow Traveler”, “Provincial”, “Madame”, “Lilliputian”, “200 Years”, “Fog in December”.

Igor Talkov

In 1956 in Tula region Igor Talkov was born - the future cult star Russian stage. His family included hereditary nobles, Cossacks and officers of the tsarist army. And Igor decided to connect his fate with music. Already at school he began to play the accordion. He was no less seriously interested in sports, played hockey, but did not qualify for the Dynamo school. Therefore, he only became more involved in music.

At school, Talkov led the choir, played guitar, piano, violin and drums. Wherein musical notation Igor did not master it, perceiving everything by ear.

Talkov's first professional performances began in the mid-seventies. At first he simply worked part-time, giving concerts in variety shows, then he began to appear on stage as part of the groups “Electroclub” and “Rescue Club”, and also managed to play in several films.

In October 1991, Igor Talkov passed away. He was shot by Igor Malakhov, the director of the singer Aziza. He was 34 years old.

Yuri Antonov

Yuri Antonov is from Tashkent. Like other future stars, he was interested in music since childhood and in his youth created his first musical group. After studying at music school he went to work as a music teacher in Minsk, and then worked as a soloist at the Belarusian State Philharmonic, after which he worked there, but as the leader of the ensemble. Vladimir Mulyavin, the founder of the Pesnyary ensemble, worked for some time under Antonov’s leadership.

He began performing as a performer in the group “Singing Guitars”. Then there were “Good fellows”, “Jolly fellows”, then in the early eighties “Araks”, cooperation with which brought Yuri Antonov all-Union fame.

Today the performer is rightfully considered one of the masters national stage. In 2013, his anniversary concert tour “About You and About Me” began in honor of the 50th anniversary of his creative activity.

Yuriy Shatunov

The youngest participant on our list, but no less popular and even iconic, Yuri Shatunov comes from Kumertau. Since his father showed no interest in his son, after the death of his mother future star taken in by my aunt. Then he was brought up in an orphanage - first in Orenburg region, then in Orenburg itself.

In 1986, he met the head of the music circle, Yuri Kuznetsov, with whose help he created the group “Tender May” and made the first recordings of his songs on a regular tape recorder. Among them was the composition “White Roses”. Andrei Razin heard it on the train and immediately decided to find the boy who sang this song.

He found a group and became its producer, making the group one of the most popular in those years. The team existed until 1992 before Shatunov left.

After leaving the group, Yuri lived in Germany for some time, then returned and continued singing solo. He still sings, although, of course, not so successfully.
