Spit long private sector rent housing. Dolzhanskaya Spit, Sea of Azov: beaches, recreation centers

Road trip to the sea with a child. Part 3: village Dolzhanskaya, Sea of Azov

Most of those who come to the shores of the Sea of \u200b\u200bAzov initially end up in Yeysk. Someone even tries to relax there and finds this place quite suitable for a carefree beach pastime. The vast majority of tourists in their reports unanimously claim that ... it’s better to stay somewhere else :) It is for this reason that we chose Dolzhanskaya .

If we talk about Yeysk, then he did not make any impression - neither bad nor good: an ordinary coastal town, quiet and calm, with no obvious claims to the status of a tourist center (and in fact it is exactly that in theory). The roadbed of the central streets is good. But the farther into the forest, the more you guess how the situation unfolds :) Shops, cafes, gas stations, service stations - all this is in abundance. True, there are no cafes / minimarkets at any of the gas stations (we visited three - Lukoil, Gazprom, RosNeft), and a sign about the presence of the latter may be present, but in reality - "deaf". I don’t know, maybe some kind of intracity monopoly :)

Dolgaya Spit, or sometimes it is called Dolzhanskaya Spit, is located in the Yeysk district of the Krasnodar Territory, near the village of Dolzhanskaya. Data on the length of the braid on the Internet is different, apparently the mileage is constantly changing. Most often, the figure is 8-10 km. The Dolgaya Spit separates the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Taganrog Bay, respectively, on the one hand the sea is calm, on the other - waves, the color of the water is also different. I came across references to this scythe more than once, and therefore it was interesting what attracts crowds of people here.

I remind you that if you do not like camping, then it is best to look for hotels through. This is an aggregator that searches for all booking systems at once, Booking, Ozone, Ostrovok, etc. Therefore, the database of hotels is the most complete, plus you can find out in which of the systems the hotel will be cheaper.

Upon arrival at the village of Dolzhanskaya, the first thing we did was immediately go to the very end of the Dolgaya Spit, because this is the most symbolic place. It takes 10-15 minutes by car from the village itself. Almost in front of the very tip, there are frightening posters about storms and tornadoes that forbid putting up tents. However, this is of little concern.

What can be said about the Dolzhanskaya Spit? A strip of land made of shell rock separating two water surfaces different color and different "texture", cannot but be beautiful by definition. A great place for photo shoots, reflections and philosophical conversations.

Rooms near the sea, I don't know the price

Burnt forest in the middle of the Dolgaya Spit

And what a wind! I can perfectly understand the surfers and kiters who come here because of the wind characteristics. Here they have such expanse! I hope someday I will be able to try to kite too ...

But it’s hard for me to understand those who live at the very end of the spit in a tent and do not go in for sports. Garbage and the smell of the toilet completely discourages all desire to be there. It is clear that everyone wants to go to the toilet, and there are no trees near the ground (only shells around), but you could take the garbage with you! In parallel, such a question arises here, but can such wild beaches be generally clean if so many people come there and they all need to go to the toilet? Maybe it makes sense to go to paid toilets from the braid?

Since the Long Spit is long and there are beaches on both sides, normal places can still be found, both paid and free. Literally having driven for half an hour, we found a couple of places relatively suitable for us. Moreover, paid campsites are now the majority, almost the entire coastline is closed from free entry, but the entrance is open to pedestrians.

You also need to take into account such a moment as a muddy bottom, in our free parking lot there was just such a bottom and I can’t say that it’s pleasant.

Prices in campsites are about the same - 150 rubles a day, 200 rubles a day for a canopy. A room in a barrack on the shore (two beds, outdoor facilities) - 500 rubles. In the village of Dolzhanskaya itself, we rented a house with two rooms, a shower, a toilet and a kitchen for 500 rubles for four people with a normal environment (more expensive in the season).

For information

— on the very long spit very windy and no shade. But some campsites have awnings.
- Along the entire coast there are simple campsites with a minimum of amenities: toilets, garbage cans, sheds.
- Many recommend the Kazachiy Bereg complex, where the beach is good, and the conditions, and housing. But the rest is not very budget obtained.
- The village of Dolzhanskaya is located at the very beginning of the Dolgaya spit, and it takes about 15 minutes by car to reach the end of the spit or to some beaches. But Dolzhanskaya itself also has beaches.

Love rested with children 1.5 and 13 years old on the Sea of Azov in the village of Dolzhanskaya (Yeisky district of the Krasnodar Territory) in August-September 2016.

Despite the fact that there are constantly ads for renting rooms and houses, it is better to rent a house in advance. Dolzhanskaya is quite a popular place among kitesurfers and windsurfers, so it is crowded all season long.

The most popular option is private sector, but walking to the sea is not very close, from 15 minutes or more, depending on the distance from the sea.

Many different offers can be found on the website avito.ru.

There we found a house that we liked. We booked a date in advance, paid a security deposit of 2,000 rubles 2 months in advance. Rent per day was 2500 rubles.

The house was large, 4 bedrooms, large living room, gazebo with barbecue. On the site, the owners equipped a corner for children (sandbox, swing, slide). Nobody bothered, the owners are very responsive and friendly.

This option for our family turned out to be the most convenient and profitable in terms of economy.

The house was located 5 minutes walk from the center (less than a minute by car). To the sea also by car - 3 minutes.

Where to eat: cafes, markets, shops

There are no particular problems with food in Dolzhanskaya, even if you are traveling with a child, you will always find baby food (if you need special food, it’s better to bring your own) and other goods.

Cafes and small restaurants are located in different areas villages. But really good places little, somewhere they cook tasteless, somewhere there are problems with service.

Popular among holidaymakers are:

  • Cafe-bar "Chateau" (Pushkin St., 52a). There is also a cafe-bar and a dining room (in the next room) with lower prices.
  • Cafe "Voyage" (street Delegatskaya, 2d). Delicious food, average prices.
  • Cafe-bar "Villa-Ribba" (Oktyabrskaya St., 290). Caucasian and Russian cuisine, children's menu. They cook delicious a good choice drinks at the bar, large portions.

Of course, eating every day in a cafe is expensive. The average check for a three-course dinner for one person will cost 1000-1400 rubles during the peak season.

Many locals they also sell ready-made food (patties, smoked fish, barbecue, boiled corn), in some houses the owners will prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for a small amount.

Much cheaper than making your own. In our case, this was the the best option because the family is big (4 adults and children 1.5 and 13 years old).

For vegetables, fruits, meat and fish, it is better to go to the market - the choice is large, the products are fresh, friendly sellers (it is in the market, in other stores that a defensive reaction to service appears out of habit).

Dairy products are of excellent quality, and their prices are much lower than in Moscow and the region. It is worth noting that some fruits and vegetables are still imported. From local, mainly grapes, pears, plums. watermelons, melons. Local Kuban tomatoes are rare, as they are very expensive to water. Most likely you will be offered imported, but also very tasty.

There is also a Kuban wine shop on the same street as the market. In addition to draft wine, they sell beer and strong alcoholic drinks. Everything can be tried before you buy. Prices for wine depend on the variety, on average - 150 rubles per liter.

But we were not lucky with homemade wine, we bought it from my grandmother on the street without a sample (120 rubles / liter), opened it at home, and felt such an unpleasant smell that I had to pour out the whole bottle.

Beaches

The beaches are so wide and long that there is enough space for everyone - both children and adults. Mostly small shell rock is found on the beaches, so it is better for children to be in swimming trunks so that shell rock particles do not stick to the pope.

It is interesting for kids to look at sand and shells, and you can also make Easter cakes, as in a regular sandbox. It is better to bring your own toys, as the prices for them are higher here.

The entrance to the sea is very smooth, the bottom is sandy in the water, there are no algae. The sea is shallow, it warms up quickly, so it’s just great to relax here with a child.

Locals on the beach sell pies, hot corn (50r/piece) and wafer rolls with condensed milk (60r).

There is not much entertainment, but there is a choice:

  • Banana (250r/person)
  • Cheesecake (250r/person)
  • Aquabike (100r/min)
  • Trampoline

At the very end of the spit, adults are offered kitesurfing and windsurfing. Be sure to instruct, introduce safety precautions, the instructor constantly monitors the actions, gives advice.

The peak of the spit is not intended for swimming, as evidenced by a large information board on the shore. It is very windy here, dangerous whirlpools can form under water, there is no beach as such.

It is uncomfortable to rest with small children, but you should definitely visit this place, if only for the sake of curiosity.

The rest of the beaches in Dolzhanskaya are monitored, but it’s still better to wear slippers, as you can step on a dry thorn.

Leisure and entertainment for children

There is practically no entertainment in Dolzhanskaya. There are no cinemas, no clubs, no children's events to be found here. Although we did not consider this a disadvantage, but rather the opposite, quietly, calmly. Many people like to sit with a fishing rod on the beach.

If we needed entertainment and impressions, we went to Yeysk (36 km from Dolzhanskaya).

Along the coast of Yeysk, there is a park named after Ivan Poddubny, there is a lot of entertainment for adults and children of any age.

  • Museum of Poddubny
  • petting zoo
  • Aquarium
  • Ferris wheel
  • Roller coaster
  • Machines on the control panel
  • Trampolines
  • Karting
  • Aquapark

Average ticket prices are 100-300 rubles.

The prices for the water park are a little high, the slides are burnt out, the stairs are rusty, but still, nothing clings or scratches. Therefore, if you do not find fault, you can have a good time.

Minus - in the children's pool the water is not heated. When we got there it was much colder than the adult pools.

There is a bar on the territory, but there is nothing to feed the child. They offer snacks, burgers and drinks. Tea/coffee bags and overpriced. In general, for a snack, it is better to take your own food or have lunch after visiting the slides. There are many cafes and restaurants on the embankment, in any of them you can find dishes for children. For example, we dined at the Beluga bar, ordered:

  • 4 chicken soups
  • 2 shawarma
  • 4 rolls
  • 2 ice creams
  • 2 Caesar salads
  • 2 bottles of beer
  • 2 lemonades

Lunch cost 3500 rubles. Portions are small but delicious. There is practically nothing from children, we took chicken soup (in fact - chicken bouillon with an egg), but I still had a jar with me baby food. Cafes and restaurants on the waterfront are very expensive, but this is the case everywhere.

Various excursions are offered on the embankment:

  • A trip to Rostov-on-Don (1500 rubles)
  • Tour to Crimea (9800 rub.)
  • Kuban evenings in Dolzhanskaya (1300 rubles)
  • A trip to Khan Lake (1300 rubles)

People go to Khanskoye Lake for therapeutic mud. And no matter what they tell you, this dirt can be found everywhere. Even in Dolzhanskaya itself. Walking along the beach, you can find small estuaries where you can pick up dirt for free.

We smeared ourselves on the beach, and drove to the lake by car, collecting dirt for free.

Of course, you can buy mud, but it is sold in small packages and in order to smear yourself completely, you will need to pay a decent amount.

You need to go to Dolzhanka by car, since the private sector is far from the sea, and the camp sites (if you live there) are far from the center of the village, where shops and pharmacies are located. Yes, and just ride the beauty to see interesting.

If you are traveling by car, stock up on gasoline in Yeysk, as there is only one gas station in Dolzhanskaya itself. When we rested, there was no 95 gasoline, we had to fill in 92. The locals themselves try not to use this gas station, they say that the quality of the fuel is not very good.

Bring everything you need with you so that you do not have to buy something on the spot, some groups of goods are much more expensive here than in your region, because tourists in Dolzhanka are the main source of income.
