Eduard Uspensky

To the 75th anniversary of the writer

An hour of literary entertainment

The purpose of the event: to introduce the children to the works of Eduard Uspensky.

Equipment: book exhibition;

Projector, screen.

Progress of the event:

Slide 1. Librarian: In December, the famous, magnificent, beloved children's writer Eduard Nikolaevich Uspensky celebrates his birthday. He was bornDecember 22, 1937 in the city of Yegoryevsk, Moscow region.

Slide 2. It is interesting that Edik studied poorly at school: he always did not have enough time for lessons. And every Monday he was going to come to his senses. But something always bothered him! And then one day the boy unsuccessfully jumped off the roof and broke his leg. He was taken to the hospital, and then he suddenly realized that he did not want to remain ignorant.

From that time on, Edik began to study well and after graduating from school he entered the aviation institute.
But over time, Eduard Uspensky realized that he wanted to become a writer and began to write humorous stories. And a little later - also children's books. By the way, this idea came to him by accident. One day, Eduard Uspensky got a job as a counselor at a pioneer camp. There he read books to his students, and sometimes he himself made up exciting stories. This is how the writer’s first works appeared. And today we will remember the books of Eduard Uspensky.

Slide 3 . Eduard Uspensky is not just a writer, but a screenwriter and playwright; director, he is the author of several television programs for children. For example, ABVGDeyka. She appeared on television back in 1975. The author of the idea, title, and scripts for the first ten programs was Eduard Uspensky, and he also proposed the first cast of student clowns: Senya, Sanya, Tanya and Vladimir Ivanovich. Together, about 20 episodes were made, which were shown in repeats for about three years.

The program was entertaining and at the same time educational.Complex rules of Russian grammar, rules of conduct in in public places or rules traffic were presented to children in a playful way and even in songs.

Slide 4. The book “School of Clowns” was born from the educational television program “ABVGDeyka”completely based on the game. Invented, slightly ridiculous, mischievous wizard clowns help real kids learn the real alphabet, real rules grammars. The clowns, together with the readers, seem to be going through a first-grade program. But both third and fifth graders and their parents read the book with delight.

Slide 5. Let's meet the students of this unusual school.

Clown Shura has a special gift - to transport objects (and people) from one city to another and transmit thoughts at a distance.

Clown Natasha is an eternal inventor. Next to her you see a skirt of her own design and shoes with inflatable soles. If you want, be small, if you want, be like a tower.

Clown Sanya is a hunter, trainer, traveler. With him is his faithful guard Polkan. Polkan is a hunting, service and guard goat. She is also a sled dog and a tracker.

Comrade Pomidorov is the supply manager. Fate pushed him into the clown school. And he became half caretaker, half clown.

One day during a lesson, the clowns argued with their teacher Vasilisa Potapovna that they didn’t have to be able to write, because they could draw a letter to a friend. Then the director Irina Vadimovna came and invited the clown Sanya to draw a telegram that he sent to the school from the taiga.

Slide 6. Sanya got this: Let's try to read it.

(children's answers)

That's how many options we got. What actually was in the telegram? “Meet me. I've already taken off. Clown Sanya from the taiga and his faithful Polkan." Here's the explanation:

(quote p. 13)

Slide 7. E. Uspensky pays a lot of attention to the education of his heroes. Even animals learn from him.

...Quite by accident, at an abandoned dacha, third-grader Lucy discovers a boarding school for “fur animals.” And even becomes a teacher. The director of the boarding school, Badger, is also a janitor and a bartender.

Each of Lucy's pupils has her own smile, her own concern, her own pattern of movements and her own behavior. E. Uspensky invented it for them unusual language. He generally likes to make up words. A sort of “explainer”.

Slide 8. Try to explain what this is:

  1. Large paper recipient
  2. Chief
  3. Large lined Hvalundiya (it is presented at the end school year)
  4. Mom and Dad meeting
  5. Leaflets (there are checkered, diamond and polka dotted).

Slide 9. Another children's entertainment and educational program invented by Eduard Nikolaevich Uspensky is “Baby Monitor”.

Eduard Uspensky came up with the idea of a radio broadcast and was its first author. "Fun baby monitor lessons" in a humorous musical form helped children remember the rules of the Russian language, explained the laws of mathematics, physics, biology, traffic rules, rules of conduct, politeness, etc.

The program began with a theme song. The text was written by Eduard Uspensky, and the music by Vladimir Shainsky.

Slide 10. Now we will listen to it - musical break.

Slide 11. Once upon a time, young Eduard Uspensky worked as a counselor in a pioneer camp. And then I noticed with surprise and disappointment that the guys didn’t know the heroes of Russian folk tales well. This was the impetus for the creation funny fairy tale"Down the Magic River" The tale is unusual. Main character- an ordinary boy Mitya, who came to visit his grandmother in the village for the holidays. And my grandmother has a sister, Egorovna. She lives alone in the forest and from loneliness turned into Baba Yaga, is friends with Kikimora Bolotnaya, and has a magic saucer with an apple. But from Baba Yaga from folk tale Egorovna is distinguished by her kind disposition and fair character. There are many adventures in the fairy tale. Mitya has to look for a way out of various difficult situations. The reader meets old acquaintances, heroes of Russian fairy tales, on the pages of the book.

Slide 12 - 14. Try to recognize them. Who are they?

Slide 15. Now let’s talk about everyone’s favorite book “Uncle Fyodor, the Dog and the Cat.” Everything is possible in it: the appearance of a cat that can speak, and a tractor that refuels not with gasoline, but with potatoes.

And sausages, and a romance-singing cow with a cat's name. We’ll talk about the names of the characters in the book.

Slide 16. Tournament of experts on books by Eduard Uspensky about Uncle Fyodor, the dog and the cat. Several books are dedicated to Uncle Fyodor: “Uncle Fyodor, the Dog and the Cat”, “Winter in Prostokvashino”, “Uncle Fyodor’s Aunt, or Escape from Prostokvashino”, “New Orders in Prostokvashino”, “Holidays in Prostokvashino”.

Slide 17 -24. Question answer.

  1. Why was the boy named Uncle Fyodor?
  2. Why did Uncle Fyodor leave home?
  3. What do cats and sailors have in common?
  4. How did Uncle Fyodor, Sharik and Matroskin get their little jackdaw, Khvatayka?
  5. Why did Sharik and Matroskin quarrel before the New Year?
  6. Why did everyone eventually run away from Prostokvashin?
  7. What documents does Matroskin the cat have?

Slide 25. What did they fill Mitya's Tr-tr with?

Kerosene

Sunflower oil

Cutlets

Gasoline.

Slide 26-30. Whose things are these?

Concert dress (mom's)

Car (dad's)

Ushanka hat (Pechkin)

Valenki (Cat Matroskin)

Photogun (Ball).

Slide 31. I would like to end our meeting today with the words of Eduard Nikolaevich Uspensky: “If you want to find out how much smarter and better a person becomes after reading a thousand books, read a thousand books.”

Slide 32. Thank you!

Slide 33. Sources.

Slide 1

Topic: “Eduard Uspensky – favorite writer”

Slide 2

Russian writer Eduard Uspensky was born on December 22, 1937 in the city of Yegoryevsk, Moscow region. Edik studied poorly. And so that my parents would not scold me too much, I mastered one important and necessary art. How to cut twos out of a diary. Unnoticed, with a razor.

No, Edik had no intention of remaining an inveterate loser all his life. Deep in his soul he cherished a dream - to become an academician or a minister. (Or maybe, at worst, a very successful gold digger). Since there are no bad academicians, Edik was always going to “rush” -Start studying well on Monday. But somehow everything didn’t work out.

One day, Eduard, not too thoughtfully, jumped from the roof. And, as a result, he ended up in the hospital with a broken leg. This is where Uspensky got truly scared. He imagined how from an ordinary bad student he would quickly become a poor student. And this will be forever. Edward begged his parents to bring him books and, to the unspeakable surprise of those around him, began to study.

After leaving the hospital, he returned to school as a completely different student; the boy was best at mathematics. At the end of school, Eduard already had many awards for winning city, regional and even all-Union Olympiads.

Slide 3

The writer has a home zoo. This is the owl Glazunya, two large parrots Stas and Baron, two smaller ones - Julius and Jean Jacques, the raven Crassus, the giant schnauzer Ersella, just the dogs Jim and Baskerville, the cat Titya, about 15 neon fish, hamsters, a squirrel... A magpie and a raven live near the house. In the yard, the black terrier Rona is looking importantly around his possessions. The writer gets up in the morning to the crowing of his rooster, and where there is a rooster, there are hens and chicks. They live together and don't bother. “This is my family,” says the writer. This whole company, with its behavior, constantly gives the writer plots for new books.

“When a raven flies in my office, I immediately hide shiny objects, watches, otherwise he will whistle them. Breaks through cans with its beak! One day he stole my hunting license and tore it to shreds. Recently my wife saw an iguana somewhere and wanted to buy one too.”

Slide 4

While still at school, Edward became interested in writing stories and poems for the class wall newspaper. Subsequently, his poems began to be published in Literaturnaya Gazeta, they were heard in the radio program “S Good morning! In addition, Eduard was actively involved in working with children and was a pioneer leader. From these activities with the children, from the eternal fuss with the children at the dacha, where a herd of kids always gathered around Uspensky, he came to understand his true calling.

Slide 5

One summer, Uspensky worked in a pioneer camp. And in order to calm the squad that was thirsty for impressions, I read them various interesting books. And then all the interesting books suddenly ended. The detachment did not want to listen to boring books, and Uspensky had no choice but to start without thinking: “In one city there lived a crocodile named Gena, and he worked in a zoo as a crocodile...”.

Slide 6

“And suddenly... Two people appeared from around the corner long nose- tame rat Lariska and

hooligan old woman Shapoklyak,” - this is how Uspensky began to tell his famous fairy tale...

The story about Cheburashka and the crocodile Gena really appealed to the little listeners. But for some reason the adult bosses didn’t like me at all. "Cheburashka has no homeland!" - they exclaimed. “And it’s generally unknown what kind of fruit this is (that is, excuse me, beast)!”

But, despite everything, the book was still published. And then another, no less famous work was published - “Uncle Fyodor, Dog and Cat.”

Slide 7

Monuments are erected to the heroes of E. Uspensky. “Not monuments, but sculptures, because they have not died yet,” corrects E. Uspensky.

In the Moscow region, Cheburashka, crocodile Gena and Shapoklyak were installed in the city of Ramenskoye in 2005.

In Lukhovitsy, the postman Pechkin with Matroskin, Sharik and the little jackdaw Khvataika are standing on the street, repeating “Who’s there?”A bronze composition almost two meters high is installed in front of the local post office building.

These Cheburashka and the crocodile Gena live in Ukraine, the city of Kremenchug.

Slide 8

A monument to Cheburashka will be erected in Yekaterinburg. The monument will appear at the entrance to the Central Park of Culture and Leisure named after V. Mayakovsky. This is expected to happen during 2012.

IN Nizhny Novgorod is being created big park, where they plan to install a sculpture of Cheburashka, the big-eared orange lover.

Slide 9

Today this cartoon character is a symbol of the Russian Olympic teams at several games:

at the summer in Athens 2004, Cheburashka was brown,

for winter in Turin 2006 - white,

at the summer in Beijing 2006 - red,

for winter in Vancouver 2010 - blue.

Slide 10

This is how Eduard Uspensky talks about his work.

“My work is a constant holiday! A children's writer is an “adult child.” This is a way of life, constant communication with children, helping them."

Even at 75, he is still as assertive and active: he writes new books, hosts television programs... And to this day they bring him bags of letters with warm words of gratitude: “Thank you for your books, my child learned to read from them!”

Uspensky loves children very much, constantly communicates with them in families and children's groups, notices their typical features, which he then passes on to his fairy tale characters. Uspensky the storyteller lives in the interests of the little reader.

The heroes of his children's books are for all times, they do not go out of fashion, pass through generations.

Slide 11

Speaking about one of his books, the writer noted: “Everyone in my new book is kind. I want to give children a feeling of fun and good world! The guys need kindness..."

Eduard Uspensky's favorite idea, which is embodied in his works, is the idea of friendship. For example, in the fairy tale “Crocodile Gena,” the characters direct all their actions towards making everyone friends with each other, contrary to the villainous intentions of the old woman Shapoklyak; in the fairy tale "Uncle Fyodor" the wonderful qualities of the cat Matroskin make you think about careful attitude to four-legged friends...

All the works of Eduard Uspensky, the wonderful children's writer with an engineering education and the soul of a cheerful storyteller, a gift for children, warm and kind. Not only children, but also adults like this fairy world!

Slide 12

Eduard Uspensky is the creator of such programs as “Good night, kids!”, “ABVGDeyka”, “Baby Monitor” and “Ships came into our harbor”.

A bunch of talented people worked on creating the program “Good night, kids!” and its heroes - funny animal presenters, whom our grandparents loved. At the very origins of the creation of the program is a team of such wonderful children's writers, poets and screenwriters as Alexander Kurlyandsky, Eduard Uspensky, Andrei Usachev, Roman Sef.

Slide 13

Eduard Uspensky addresses children

"In one good book I could give away five TVs.

And, if a child is overwhelmed with books, his imagination appears.

And if he is overwhelmed with TVs, he gets bumps.

Guys, read more and more."

My works are sermons. Every time I want to say something to the guys, I start inventing a story. This is how all my books appeared. All the sermons are very simple: there should always be respect for the mother, for the homeland, for the teacher, for all living things.

“Without a book, a person becomes spiritually disabled...”
