During work, dried emery is carried as a fine dust in the air, and workers involuntarily breathe this dust, clogging their lungs and spoiling their eyes. It is this sanding dust that causes most of the lapidary workers to suffer from chest diseases and lose their eyesight early. Add to this the fact that you have to work in cramped rooms, without any ventilation, like with Alexei Ivanovich.

D.N. Mamin-Sibiryak was born on November 6, 1852 in the Perm province (now it is the Sverdlovsk region). Real surname Mom.

Since childhood, I fell in love with the Ural nature and always remembered it with love.

At the same time, in early childhood, Mamin-Sibiryak's love for Russian literature was born and strengthened. The family had a small home library.

Graduated from the seminary. He wrote his first stories while studying at the seminary. After graduating from the seminary, he goes to St. Petersburg, but already understands that he will not be a priest and enters the Medical and Surgical Academy.

In 1874, Mamin was admitted to St. Petersburg University, where he studied at the Faculty of Natural Science. Two years later, he transferred to the Faculty of Law.

But the deterioration of health and financial difficulties forced him to leave his studies. He develops tuberculosis.

Mamin-Sibiryak took children's literature very seriously. He called the children's book "a living thread" that takes the child out of the nursery and connects with the wide world of life.

The writer wrote for children different ages. For younger children, for example, Alyonushka's Tales, and for older children, Emelya Hunter, Postoiko and others.

A wide and varied world, the life of man and nature are revealed to young readers in these works. In his stories, he talks a lot about the life and work of workers and peasants, about the fate of children.

This simple question confused Proshka, as if the lady had divined his secret thoughts. When he waited in the kitchen, it smelled so good of fried meat and all the time he was pursued by this appetizing smell.
