Alternate versions of Spider-Man

Other versions of Spider-Man and characters similar to him appear in alternate Marvel universes.

Ultimate Spider-Man

In "Ultimate Spider-Man", Peter is a high school student who is bitten by a spider during practice at the facility. The spider, unlike the original story, is not radioactive, but genetically modified by Osborn Industries. The themes, characters, environments have been updated to suit modern life, but the main idea remains intact. In this comic series, all the enemies and friends of Spider-Man were completely "altimized", that is, changed to fit the new comic: so, Otto Octavius (Doctor Octopus) worked for Norman Osborn (Green Goblin) and, together with Osborn, gained his abilities. The differences affected not only the history of the origin of unique abilities, but also them in general. In this comic, the Octopus, unlike the classic version, is able to telepathically control any kind of metal. The Green Goblin was also depicted differently - here he appears before the readers in the form of a huge green monster that can shoot fireballs from his hands. Kraven the Hunter is a showman who wants to kill Spider-Man in front of the whole country, he does not have any superpowers, but he knows how to hunt well. And Venom and Carnage in this universe are not alien symbiotes, but monsters created in the laboratory that cannot think sensibly.

In high school, Peter Parker had two true friends, Harry Osborn and Mary Jane Watson. After Peter gained his spider powers, he was able to stand up for Mary Jane against Flash Thompson. He assigns Peter a fight, in which Peter accidentally breaks Flash's arm. Because of this, the Flash family force the Parkers to pay for the treatment of the hand, but the amount was too high. Peter decides to make money by wrestling in a mask under the alias of Spider-Man. When Uncle Ben is killed by a mugger, Peter in costume finds the killer. He recognized the killer as a street thief he had met a couple of days before, when Peter had no intention of catching him. Soon after handing over the killer to the authorities, Peter decides to devote himself to fighting crime. After the death of Uncle Ben, the Parkers began to lack money and Peter decided to get a job. He tried to sell a photo of Spider-Man in the Daily Bugle, but Chief Editor newspapers Jay John Jameson initially refused to pay for these photographs. Luckily, the publisher was having problems with the website at the time, which Peter was able to resolve with ease by taking on the position of site administrator. Peter soon revealed his secret to Mary Jane, after which they started dating. Peter also meets Gwen Stacy, who also becomes his friend. Peter soon meets his enemy, the Green Goblin, and learns that it is Norman Osborn who knew Peter's secret. Peter also first meets Nick Fury, the head of S.H.I.E.L.D., who has been secretly following him. The Green Goblin then takes Mary Jane hostage. Spider-Man catches her falling off the Queensboro Bridge.

After the incident with the Goblin, Peter breaks up with Mary Jane, he later meets his childhood friend, Eddie Brock. During the night, Spider-Man sneaked into the lab to take a sample of the suit his father was designing, but Spider-Man enveloped the hero's body, creating a black variant of the suit. short time Peter enjoyed the new power, but soon the suit began to take control of him, and Peter almost killed the robber. The spider got rid of the symbiote, and then returned to the laboratory in order to destroy the remnants of the substance. There he met Eddie, who revealed Peter's secret. But the symbiote bonded with Brock, turning him into Venom. Peter soon meets Eddie at the school. Brock tries to kill Spider-Man, but gets a powerful electric shock and disappears. Peter believes that he is dead. When Aunt May left for Florida, Peter heard that a feature-length film would be made about Spider-Man. And the main surprise was the return of Doctor Octopus. The battle ended not in favor of Peter, Doctor Octopus kidnapped him and took him to Brazil on a private plane, but already at the airport he again suffered an unfortunate defeat. Spider-Man returned on a passenger plane, however, returning home, he was caught by Gwen, who pointed her father's gun at him. While he was away, she opened a chest containing Spider-Man's outfit, whom she had always hated, due to the death of John Stacy. Still, Peter managed to convince her that the killer was an impostor in a Spider suit. Gwen forgave him, soon she dies at the hands of Carnage. Peter guessed that Dr. Connors did all this, later Peter is confronted by Carnage. Spider-Man lures Carnage onto one of the plant's pipes and throws him off. After that, Peter is about to end his heroism, but puts on his red and blue suit again and gets back on his old path.

Soon Spider-Man meets the Black Cat. She falls in love with him, but after learning that he is still a teenager, she vomits on his suit. After Peter dated Kitty Pryde, one of the X-Men, Peter realized that he still loved Mary Jane and they broke up. The Ultimate version also has a story The clone saga, in which five clones of Peter Parker were created. A disfigured Cain, a six-armed Tarantula, an armored Scorpion, a clone with false memories of Richard Parker, and a female clone of Jessica Drew. During the events of Ultimatum, Spider-Man selflessly fought for the lives of citizens, getting the Hulk into allies, but after a while he got out of control and attacked Doctor Strange's house, as a result of which the demon Dormammu broke free, and Spider-Man himself disappeared, leaving behind only a torn mask. Afterward, Kitty Pryde and Jessica, Peter's female clone, find the superhero mask and decide that Spider-Man is dead. However, Captain America soon finds Peter under the rubble of a building. After the Ultimatum, Peter's life changed a lot, Johnny Storm (Human Torch) and Bobby Drake (Human Ice) settled in his house, who could not return to their former lives after the Ultimatum. Mary Jane Watson broke up with Peter and he dated a Gwen Stacy clone, but due to the Chameleon incident, Gwen decided to end her relationship with Peter. After which he reunited with Mary Jane again.

In 2009, the series was renamed Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man (like many other comics from the same universe). Peter was soon shot by the Punisher while trying to save Captain America. After constructing web bandages for himself, he went to his house, where at that moment a battle took place between the Sinister Six, Johnny Storm and Bobby Drake. After eliminating the Vulture, Peter comes face to face with the six villains and defeats them. Peter then fought Norman Osborn. Spider-Man finishes off the Green Goblin with a truck, but after the truck explodes, Peter is mortally wounded. Subsequently, in the Ultimatum series, Peter died and was replaced by Miles Morales. Peter returned to Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man #1 where he asked Miles for his web shooters. Peter refused to tell what happened and fled. Later, Peter arrives at his old home, where Miles fights Osborn and helps him in the fight. Later it turns out that Peter didn't die due to the fact that the OZ serum gave a side effect - immortality, which was transferred to Osborn.

The corporation took advantage of the preliminary results of Miguel's work against his will. The tests were carried out on a living person, and when he died, Miguel decided to leave this project forever. Only then did he find out that the Alkemax Corporation had hooked him on a drug of his own production called Bliss. Miguel broke into the lab and tried to perform a genetic surgery that would cure him of his addiction. Unfortunately, he did not know that the envious colleague had changed the parameters of the device, setting it to replicate the DNA of a spider. This time the experiment was a success, and Miguel turned into Spider-Man 2099. Spiderman or Spiderman (Peter Benjamin Parker, eng. Spiderman) is a Marvel comic book superhero invented by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Spider-Man first appeared in The Amazing Fantasy #15 in August 1962. Since then, he has been one of the most famous and commercially successful superheroes. Now it appears not only in comics, but also in movies, on television, on clothes, in video games and in the form of toys.

This is the main character of a teenage superhero who works independently, and does not help a mature superhero. However, during the release of stories about him, he managed to graduate from high school, college, and even become a married teacher.

Character Creation

In 1962, at the beginning of the so-called Silver Age of comics, and after the success of the Fantastic Four and other characters like the Hulk, Ant-Man or Iron Man, the director of Marvel Comics, he asked his main writer, Stan Lee, who created a new superhero, who will eventually be Spider-Man.

At the time, teen characters in superhero comics tended to retain their roles from companions to main characters, but Stan Lee couldn't stand that kind of character and Spider-Man broke that trend by taking them as protagonists. b These readers will identify immediately with Peter Parker, the "alter ego" of Spider-Man, for his timid nature, their loneliness and their limited ability to fit between young people of their own age.

Stan Lee cites among his influences, the Spider-Slayer crime, which appeared published in a Pulp-type magazine.

Lee submitted the draft to editorial director Martin Goodman, but rejected the character, considering that spiders were not of public taste. He allowed, however, to introduce Spider-Man eventually into the series, which featured on each copy a different story, often about monsters, aliens, or the paranormal. The series was called Amazing Fantasy which, in order for it to be its last number (fifteenth), change its name to Amazing Fantasy.

Jack Kirby, Lee's biggest contributor, was given the task of drawing that first story. However, Lee was not too happy with the result. In his opinion, Spider-Man designed by Kirby remembered the other heroes of this drawing: too muscular, similar to Captain America. The commission then passed into the hands of Steve Ditko, a darker Kirby artist accustomed to giving life to mysterious and unusual characters. with Ditko with the final portrayal of Spider-Man completely rejecting Kirby's previous work, which used a traditional superhero costume and a partial mask, Buccaneer gloves and boots, and a gun of sorts. He shoots the web. Instead, Ditko designed a recognizable costume from anywhere, very original, closed eyes and a large white mask look that made the Spider-Man hero somewhat ominous.

early years

A few months after Spider-Man debuted at #15 Amazing Fantasy (August to October 1962), editor-in-chief Martin Goodman found sales of that number to be impressive. Goodman ordered Lee to immediately provide the trepamuros with a collection of his own, which would be called The Amazing Spider-Man and would begin his career with a cover date of March 1963. Ditko will remain as the series' illustrator at number 38, but will leave this task of creative disagreement with Stan Lee. d will be replaced by John Romita, which Spider-Man will provide a more romantic air, making him more muscular and curvy. Romita also redesigned Gwen Stacy, a minor character who would soon become Peter Parker's great love before his death, and met Mary Jane Watson, and Peter's neighbor Pleasure, whom many years later, ended up marrying.

seventies

In the early seventies, the story of Spider-Man forced a revision of the Comics Code, the censorship mechanism for American comics. Until then, this code is not restrictively prohibited from mentioning drugs, speaking only negatively of them. However, at that time, the United States Department of Health went to Stan Lee to ask me to write a story with an anti-drug message, and this story appeared in one of the comics' best-selling Marvel.

Lee decided to make an arc of three numbers that appear on numbers 96, 97, and 98 of The Amazing Spider-Man (May to July 1971). In the adventure, Harry Osborn, Peter Parker's best friend, became addicted to LSD. Although the story is clear of his anti-drug message, Comics Code rejected to include their imprint on it. Stan Lee then decided to publish it out of print, which eventually led to a loosening of the rules governing it.

In the seventies, both Stan Lee and John Romita gave up their tasks in The Amazing Spider-Man, and although this would have been a later arrangement than the character's press strips, it would have fallen into other hands: screenwriter young Gerry Conway, who work with artists such as Ross Andru and wrote two of the most famous stories about lanzarredes: the death of Gwen Stacy in September and the Clone Saga.

In 1972 came the second series of Spider-Man to be published in parallel to Amazing. It was a Marvel Team-Up that Spider-Man co-starred with other Marvel heroes.

In 1976, he begins his second solo series, Peter Parker, a gripping Spider-Man that intertwines their stories with those of Amazing, focusing mainly on Peter Parker's personal life.

nineties

The launch of the fourth title in 1990, compiled and written by Todd McFarlane, an author who has placed among fan favorites since his previous graphic work Surprisingly, it was met with a bestseller: three million copies of the first issue, although it was largely due to the strong presence of speculators in the American comic book market in the nineties, a phenomenon that would lead to the greatest crisis in its history, from which only beginning to recover ten years later.

In 1999, she undertook a major restructuring of the arachnid franchise. The Amazing Spider-Man series, which has been published since 1963, will be canceled at issue 441 (November 1998) to return later with a new issue 1. The same will apply to the second arachnid collection, which was then titled Peter Parker: Man- spider (the old "Spider-Man" McFarlane).

New numbers 1 lanzarredes are coming, and in early 1999, the hand of writer Howard McKee, who from years ago, wrote some of the Spider-Man collections, and artist and writer John Byrne, who also try to revisit the origin of the character with a series that will soon take place in Fly: Spiderman: Chapter One. Not a single commercial success or critical accompaniment to Relaunch's false character seemed in everyone's view to have lost its luster of yesteryear.

2000

Since the turn of the century, Joe Quesada, the new editorial director, has launched an operation to bring back the pomp to Spider-Man (and all of Marvel in general), leading to the signing of prestigious television writer Joe Straczynski for such a task. Straczynski's arrival was widely acclaimed by readers, and soon sales began to rise (triple the original print run), although their changes would not have been without controversy, raised by the sins of the past saga.

Although the Straczynski stage has been criticized by several "traditionalists", the truth is that few writers have been able to describe Spider-Man's adult and so serious mind in a way that I'm giving away some pomp of the past while also having the advantage of presenting new stories. based on magic and "packing out" common "super-tech" enemies, all portrayed by an artist of great prestige like John Romita Jr.

Thanks to this, Amazing restored their original numbering, and so, in December 2003, it would see the light of day for their historic 500. The collection has continued to be numbered ever since.

But misguided and dubious editorial decisions shortly before the Civil War landmark (as Straczynski said in "One More Day: Special Edition"), led to lower quality publications, such as the Other/El Otro series J, which lack the argument's strength it must probably be due to the diversity of writers and artists.

When some critics reclaimed the quality in the "Back In Black" K Marvel story decided that Spider-Man needed to be more fun and less mature to suit the style of superhero movies, so they tried to bring the character back to its origins.

This brings up "SAGA One More Day" 11 which, though shown to be magnificent argumentalmente (in dialogues and l graphics), brings the controversy to its bitter end: It was decided that Spider-Man never married Mary Jane, and the reality of the Marvel Universe distorts it, so much of what happened in "Amazing" on final stages"never was", returning to a more hilarious Spider-Man and a simplistic one to appeal to younger readers.

Typically, Spider-Man has two regular series on the market, m n supported by other miniseries and specials. Also in 2000, the launch hosted Ultimate Spider-Man, an update on the character's mythos that tells their stories from the start as if they were happening over the course of the first time. Series written by Bendis and drawn in its first 110 numbers by Mark Bagley, Or Reach incredible success and lead to a disguised new audience.

2010

Marvel announced that the character he expected big changes in his 5 sampler posters with the title "The Year of Spider-Man 2010". Already in 2009, a saga called "launched a gauntlet," which would end in "Hunting Sinister." These two tales narrate the return of several classic Trepa villains—and the revenge of his walls—Kraven the Hunter's family, the Kravinoff. Finally the Kravinoff family is overcome as a result of Origin of the Species, where Spider-Man must save a child from Norman Osborn and Lily Hollyster Dr.

Octopus and other villains are seen in Gauntlet (revealing that the father is Harry's child). 2010 Spider-Man ends with a big time where, despite the fact that the deal with Mephisto is still standing, all of the New Day continuity changes are removed, as is the return of Harry Osborn, who goes to care for his son, Stanley. Peter gets a permanent job and pays well as the new star of the Horizon Science Labs. The Great Moment returns Duende and Wilson Fisk to lifelong superheroes as new outfits for various functions.

After the death of a human torch in the negative zone. Spider-Man replaces him The Fantastic 4, at Johnny's request, was renamed the group as the Future Foundation and changing the group to their traditional costumes, including Spider-Man.

Some are in black and white. 16 In June it was announced that new scenario The series will be released in November by Zeb Wells and drawn by Joe Madureira called "The Punisher Spider-Man" in order to model the seventies "Marvel Team-Up" series, featuring adventures with little impact on "Amazing Spider-Man" where Spider-Man teams up with several heroes in the Marvel Universe, in this case (from which the name of the series comes) there would be several of his fellow Avengers guests.

In 2011, in publications typical of comics (located in another universe, the so-called Ultimate), Peter Parker died fighting the Green Goblin. Comic book writer Brian Bendis explained that this was due to a very important reason, after which, a mini-series was created by Ultimates Fallout, with a young Hispanic, Miles Morales, taking Parker's place.

In the bow of Octopus's "dying wish", a doctor who suffered from osteochondrosis who was on the verge of death switches bodies with Parker through one of his Octobots, Peter does his best to restore his body, but unfortunately not for this even in the final the battle he manages to pierce through all his experiences, like Spider-Man who does realize Octopus how bad his methods were, finally Peter Parker dies in Doctor Octopus's body while it is, he swears he will stay.

Spider-Man protecting his loved ones on the spot and with his unstoppable genius and boundless ambition would be the best Spider-Man ever - Parker referred to this as "Superior Spider-Man". He then discovered that there is still a fragment of Peter Parker's mind in Octopus's mind acting like a ghost and gaining more control over your body.

Superior Spider-Man #9, Doc Oka realizes the presence of Peter's ghost and after an intense fight Octopus erases all memories of Parker living in his mind, which ends up being destroyed by Peter, but definitely not. Finally in the nose of the "Goblin Nation" Doc Ock the victim of erasing all traces of his mind in order to get his body and thus stop the Green Goblin caused complete chaos in New York

Despite the fact that Spider-Man appeared several decades later than the most famous superheroes in the world, Superman and, he occupies an honorable third place in popularity among other costumed heroes. The wit, age, lifestyle and problems of a common man made him close and understandable to a large audience, including teenagers. Not to mention that Spider-Man changed the entire comic book industry more than once.

If you suddenly haven’t heard anything about Spider-Man, then our short material will tell you the main points about the character and his journey from comics to screens.

Birth of a hero

How interesting is it for teenagers to read about the problems of an adult billionaire orphan or a super-strong alien? For many years they did just that, but the teenagers themselves in comics have always been nothing more than sidekicks of the protagonist. Take Robin or Bucky, for example. But everything changed in the early 60s of the last century, when Stan Lee and Steve Ditko introduced the ordinary teenager Peter Parker to the world. And despite the fact that he was bitten by a radioactive spider, and now he is the owner amazing abilities(spider-sense, wall-climbing ability and his web-shooting cartridges), this was primarily a teenager with all the age-related problems that come with it.

It's no surprise that Spider-Man has become hugely popular so quickly, changing the world of comics along the way.

First appearance

Spider-Man first appeared in the pages of Amazing Fantasy #15 in August 1962. It came as a surprise to many, because teenager Peter Parker, without a mentor, was trained to control his abilities, realizing what it means to be a hero and fight crime, protecting civilians.

After that, Spider-Man appeared in several magazines, but the most significant was The Amazing Spider-Man (The Amazing Spider-Man).

villains

Like , Spider-Man has accumulated a huge number of enemies over the years. Most of them, like Spidey, appeared after unsuccessful experiments. Spiderman's first enemy in "Amazing Spider-Man #1" was Chameleon, then Vulture, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, Lizard, Electro, Mysterio, Green Goblin, Kraven Hunter, Scorpion, Rhinoceros. All of these villains appeared in Spider-Man in the first three years of the series.

However, Spider-Man's most famous confrontation was with the villain Venom, who first appeared as a black symbiote suit of Spider-Man himself. Later, the alien symbiote went to journalist Eddie Brock, and he received powers similar to those of the Spider. But the protagonist of the series and Venom have not always remained enemies, they have been allies more than once, including when Carnage, the red symbiote, embarked on the path of massacre.

Symbiote Series

After the events of Secret Wars, Spider-Man was possessed by a black symbiote from outer space for 4 years (1984-1988). After returning to Earth, Spidey walked around in a new black suit, inciting anger among comic book fans. As a result, in the series “The Amazing Spider-Man”, Peter Parker realized how negatively the suit affects him, fought the symbiote and returned to the classic red and blue suit.

First screen appearance

Such a phenomenon as Spider-man could not bypass television for a long time. His first appearance was the animated series Spider-Man, which aired on the ABC channel from 1967 to 1970, it was in this series that the most famous song about Spider-Man appeared. In 1978, CBS attempted to produce its own series, with Nicholas Hammond as Peter Parker, but the project only lasted a year.

Film history

The first Friendly Neighbor action film was released in 2002, directed by Sam Raimi and starring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker. This film changed the idea of superhero films and can be considered the starting point of what we have now. Spider-Man 2 (2004) is considered the best film of the entire Raimi trilogy, and at the same time the best Spider-Man film (however, it is not yet known what the upcoming films will be). In that film, Doctor Octopus appeared in a wonderful performance by Alfred Molina. But Spider-Man 3 tried to pack too much into it, resulting in a very vague and controversial film, and the Raimi franchise came to an end.

Just five years after Spider-Man 3, namely in 2012, Sony relaunched the franchise with new actor Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man. Although the box office did well, it wasn't enough for the film company, and the average reviews kept this reboot from surviving more than two films.

In 2010, it was decided to move Spider-Man to Broadway. This project was launched, then canceled, then launched again and again canceled. Despite all the mess with the production in 2011, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark premiered, becoming the most expensive Broadway musical, and even with music from Bono from U2. The production cost $1 million a week.

present tense

The controversial results of the relaunch led Sony to negotiations with Sony, as a result of which the rights to the Spider, although Sony retained, made the Spider part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now the role of Spider-Man is played by actor Tom Holland, who has already tried on the Spider-Man costume in the film “The First Avenger: Civil War” and will return in the upcoming July 6 “Spider-Man. Homecoming".

Not only is the return of the friendly neighbor to the big screen coming soon. In the same year, a new animated series about his adventures starts. And in a year we will see the game “Marvel’s Spider-Man”, a full-length cartoon and a spin-off about Venom.

Description of Spider-Man

Spider-Man (Peter Benjamin Parker) is a superhero from the Marvel comics series, one of the most popular crime fighters in the Earth-616 universe. Created in 1962 by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, the character is a young man with super skills. Peter Parker received his strength as a result of the bite of a spider that had previously been exposed to radiation. Through a mutation occurring within hours of being bitten, Parker acquired the partial abilities of an arachnid. So, he became able to climb walls, like a spider, gained superhuman strength, agility and reflexes. In addition, he gained the ability "Spider Sense", which warns him of possible threats moments before danger occurs.

Having gained new abilities, Parker took on the alias "Spider-Man" and became a costumed superhero. Throughout his long adventures, Spider-Man has fought many different villains in the Marvel universe and participated in the main events of the planet. He was married to Mary Jane Watson, worked for the Daily Bugle, was a school teacher, and finally opened his own company that grew internationally. Peter Parker is one of the smartest people on the planet (his IQ is over 250). He creates many different devices that help in the fight against crime, and also occasionally helps other geniuses (like Hank Pym) in the fight against global threats.

Throughout the development of the character, Spider-Man undergoes mutations that change and enhance his superpowers. Parker's exact strength level is unknown. However, it is known for sure that the Spider almost always restrains his own power so as not to kill the enemy with a few blows. He has several terrifying super moves in his arsenal, which he uses only when he loses control over himself (once, with the help of his "sticky" limbs, he tore off pieces of skin from the faces of his opponents).

Biography of Spider-Man

Early period

Peter Parker was born in Queens to CIA agents Richard and Mary Parker. When Peter was just a baby, his parents were given a mission to infiltrate a spy organization in Algiers run by the communist representative Red Skull (Albert Malik). The moment the Red Skull learned that Richard and Mary were double agents, one of his assistants, Shinisher, had to get rid of them in a plane crash, falsely accusing them of treason. Peter stayed with his aunt and uncle, Ben and May Parker, in Forest Hills, New York. They replaced his real parents and raised him as his own son. For the next nine years, Parker was brought up in a foster family. He was well versed in the sciences and became an honors student at his Midtown School. His shyness and interest in learning made him an outcast and a target for school bullies, most notably football star Flash Thompson.

Transformation into Spider-Man

While participating in an urban exhibition organized by General Tectronics Corporation, which demonstrated the safe handling of radioactive waste from one of the laboratories, 15-year-old Peter Parker was bitten on the arm by a spider exposed to radiation from the particle accelerator used in the demonstration. Unbeknownst to Peter, the spider fell out of his hand before dying, biting Cindy Moon's leg on the leg. Returning home after this incident, Peter was almost hit by a car. When he jumped to the side, he found that he had somehow gained incredible strength, agility, and the ability to cling to walls - all of which were similar to the properties of a spider, and he immediately remembered his bite.

After coming across an ad offering a cash prize for staying in the ring for 3 minutes with Joseph "Crush" Hogan, Peter decided it was the perfect opportunity to test his skills. Putting on a mask to avoid possible shame in the event of a defeat, Peter defeated his opponent quite easily. TV producer Maxwell Shifman watched his performance and later urged the young man to go on television "with such talents". By designing a suit, designing a web-like fluid, and fitting web-shooting devices on his wrists, Peter coined the name Spider-Man, and almost immediately became a sensation.

After his first appearance on television, Spider-Man was unable to stop a fleeing thief, claiming that it shouldn't be his job. Peter forgot about this incident as his fame rose, but one evening, returning home in the evening, he found that his uncle Ben had been killed. Upon learning that the police had rounded up the robbers who had raided the warehouse, Peter disguised himself as Spider-Man and easily caught the thief. Parker recognized him as the same man he had released the previous time. Full of remorse, he realized that if someone has power, he must use it responsibly. So he decided to become a superhero.

Taking on a lot of responsibility

The first problem that young Peter had to face was the lack of money, due to the death of his uncle. Due to the fact that Aunt May was too weak to work, and Peter, it should be noted, was rather fragile, he decided to get a job, even though his aunt wanted him to become a scientist. Peter even considered committing a crime using his spider powers, but changed his mind after imagining how badly Aunt May would react if he was put in jail. However, it seemed impossible for him to find a job to pay his growing debts. In the image of Spider-Man, he could not continue his career as a TV star because of J. John Jameson, the head of the Daily Bugle newspaper. Jameson has campaigned against the Spider, claiming that he is a bad influence on children and that he is a criminal who takes justice into his own hands like a mugger. These protests begin to gain momentum and society turns against Spider-Man, forcing his manager to quit, and hindering Peter's ability to make money as Spider-Man. Peter tried to find a job through ads, but received only refusals in response. Unable to use his superpowers, he flew into a rage, and his anger only increased when he saw Aunt May selling her jewelry to make some money.

Spider's second act of heroism was to save astronaut John Jameson's son from an accident in a capsule that veered off course. Spider-Man flew on a small plane, which, during entry into the dense layers of the atmosphere, sat in a capsule. He then attached the missing piece to the capsule, allowing it to land safely. Although he saved John, his father JJ Jameson blamed Spider-Man for the accident.

To find a way to earn some more money, he decided to join the superhero team called the Fantastic Four. Spider infiltrated the Baxter Building and fought the Fantastic Four to show them his abilities, but they refused to let him join the team, explaining that they were not paid for their work and that they were a true family to each other, not what - an enterprise. Later that afternoon, a Russian-born criminal and master of disguise known as the Chameleon decided to use Spider-Man's identity to steal the missile defense plans. The Chameleon used the real Spider-Man to get out of trouble. After trying to evade police capture, Spider caught Chameleon in a helicopter before he could reach the Soviet submarine and hand Spider over to the authorities.

Peter finally found a way to make money when the Daily Bugle asked for photos of a winged criminal named the Vulture. Spider-Man took down this villain and took a lot of photos, which was the reason for JJ to hire Parker for his newspaper. Peter was supposed to get photos of Spider-Man, but on the condition that he did not tell how exactly he got these photos.
Earlier in his journey, Spider-Man fought many villains: the Tinkerer; Kraven the Hunter - the cousin of the Chameleon, who tried to hunt the Spider; Sandman (a criminal who turned into sand by changing his strength); , Lizard (beautiful scientist, turned into a giant reptile); Fox (originally teamed with ); Living Brain (crazy robot); Electro (a former electrician who was accidentally turned into a battery); Big Man (authority of the criminal world); Mysterio (an illusionist who tried to present Spider-Man as a criminal in front of the whole world); Doctor Octopus (a kind scientist who, after an accident, has 4 metal arms behind the back); and his deadliest enemy of all time - (an insane criminal who wanted to become the king of the underworld). Several of these villains formed the Sinister Six, a team led by Doctor Octopus. The team tried to get Spider-Man by kidnapping Aunt May and forcing Peter Parker to "call Spider-Man". Ultimately, their plan failed and Aunt May was released.

During that time, Parker dated Betty Brant, although Liz Allan was also in love with him. At the time, Aunt May and their neighbor Anna Watson advised Peter to date Anna's niece, Mary Jane Watson.

Before graduating from high school, Spider continued to fight against various threats including the Crime Circus, Scorpion, the Beetle, Mysterio (who posed as a famous psychiatrist in an attempt to make Spider-Man believe he was insane), the Spider-Slayers, Crime Master, and Molten Man . He also assisted the newly formed Avengers team in fighting the Spider-Man created by Kang.

Hero of the University

In the end, Peter Parker graduated with honors and entered Empire State University on a scholarship, where he met new classmates Harry Osborn and Gwen Stacy. Although they did not develop a good relationship right away, they later became friends, as they did with Flash Thompson, his school bully, who, ironically, turned out to be the most ardent fan of Spider-Man. The Green Goblin later returned. After learning where the Spider is, he kidnapped him and revealed his alter ego. It turned out that he was Norman Osborn, Harry's father. In a brutal battle, the Goblin lost all of his former supervillain memories.

Spider-Man later battled new enemies such as the Burglar, the Rhino (a villain in an armored suit who tried to kidnap John Jameson), the Shocker with the shockwave ability emanating from the gauntlets. The Spider also teams up with Doctor Strange in the fight against a sorcerer named Zandi. Also, Peter finally meets Mary Jane Watson, but at that point he was more interested in Gwen, so Mary started dating Harry Osborn.

After finding an old newspaper clipping at Aunt May's house with the information that his parents were traitors to their country, Peter Parker decided to find out the whole story. Traveling to Algeria with the help of the Fantastic Four, he learns that his parents were supposedly spies who worked for the Red Skull and came across their passes to enter the Skull's organization. He also encountered the real Red Skull and his assistants who previously worked for the other Red Skull. As a result, he finds a CIA ID belonging to his father, which proves to Peter that his parents were in fact undercover government agents. To restore the good name of his parents, Parker returns to the States.

After the return of Kravon the Hunter and the fight against the new Vulture, Peter wondered if it might be better for him to stop being Spider-Man. He left his activities and crime increased. A new crime lord, the Kingpin, has arrived in New York and kidnapped J.J. Jameson. Then Peter was forced to return to his heroic self.

A mysterious exhibit known as the "Plate of Life and Time" on display at the ESU was stolen by the Kingpin. This tablet went through many people who wanted to own it, including Spider-Man, Shocker (formerly working for Kangpin) and Mountain Man Marco (who worked for the Magic crime family). Finally, this tablet fell into the hands of the Magic boss, Silvermane, who forced Dr. Curt Connors to translate it. Thanks to her, Connors managed to create a powerful rejuvenation serum. Silvermane accepted her and became young. But the serum had negative effect- she regressed him, right down to birth. Meanwhile, Connors has escaped.

Death of Stacey

Soon, Doctor Octopus again managed to install metal arms for himself and get out of prison. After Spider-Man thwarted his attempt to hijack a plane, he began attacking the city's main power plant. And although Spider-Man managed to escape from the Eye, he was still unexpectedly attacked by him the next day. They fought on the roof of the house and Captain Stacy died while saving a child from falling debris. Before dying, he confessed to Spider-Man that he knew who Spider really was and asked him to take care of Gwen.
After being blamed for Stacey's death, Spider-Man faced off against heroes who wanted to bring him to power, such as the X-Men's Iceman and the rookie Rogue. At that time, Peter traveled to London to prevent Gwen from leaving after her father's death.

Over time, things only got worse. Harry became addicted to LSD, and Peter, along with Gwen and Mary Jane, took care of him. This family ordeal caused a lot of stress and the return of the other side of Norman Osborn's personality - the Green Goblin, after which he again fights Spider-Man. During their fight, Norman was greatly affected by the deterioration of his son's condition. This resulted in the loss of control over the Green Goblin's personality and gave Norman amnesia.

Due to his secret identity, which made his life unbearable, Peter tried to quit the Spider-Man case and find a cure for his abilities, but instead, because of the cure, he got 4 more arms. With the help of Curt Connors, he found a cure and subsequently fought the vampire Morbius and his alter ego. He finally returned to normal, even though he interfered in the war between Doctor Octopus and Hammerhead, as well as in the battle with the Hulk in Canada.

Norman Osborn's alter ego resurfaced and the Green Goblin kidnapped Gwen Stacy. Spider-Man found them on the Brooklyn Bridge, where they fought, causing Gwen to fall off the bridge. Gwen died breaking her neck when Spider-Man held out his web to her. The Green Goblin is gone. Enraged, Peter began to look for him, and when he found him, he started a fight again. Norma ended up dying by impaling himself on the Goblin's glider, apparently committing suicide.

Peter Parker was heartbroken over Gwen's death, perhaps even more so than when his Uncle Ben died. An equally upset Mary Jane tried to calm him down. At first he didn't pay attention to her, but over time they became closer.

Blamed for the death of both Stacy's families, Spider-Man confronted Power Man and . Later, Harry Osborn, who wanted revenge on Spider for his father's death, took up the mantle of the Green Goblin and kidnapped Flash Thompson, Mary Jane, and Aunt May in an attempt to lure Spider out and kill him. The spider managed to find him in his father's old house. He defeated his new enemy and handed over to the authorities. Harry was sent to a mental hospital for treatment.

Saga of the First Clone

Peter was supposed to go on a business trip with Robbie Robertson. At the airport, saying goodbye to Mary Jane, they kissed for the first time. After returning from a trip to France, he discovered a living Gwen Stacy, but was unable to rekindle their relationship due to a kiss with Mary. With the help of Ned Leeds, Spider learns that Gwen is actually a clone created by the Jackal, who later turned out to be his former professor, Miles Warren.
After kidnapping Leeds and Spider, the Jackal explained to him that he loved Gwen and blamed Peter for her death. And after he successfully managed to clone the frog, he created a clone of Gwen from a sample of her blood. Later, after Spider fought his own clone to save Ned from the bomb, Spider was left unconscious in the stadium.

Thanks to Gwen's clone, the Jackal realized that things weren't going according to plan, so he set Ned free. The bomb went off, apparently killing him along with the Spider-Man clone. Spider took his clone's body and buried it in a public chimney while Gwen Stacy's clone left New York. In doubt as to whether he was Peter Parker or a clone, he asked Curt Connors to test himself. However, he never got the results. Based on his feelings for Mary Jane, he decided that he must have been the real Peter Parker.

Peter later attended the Betty Brant engagement party. There he had a fight with Mary Jane, because. suddenly disappeared (as it turned out for the battle with the Shocker). He then battled the Kingpin again, who was trying to extract the crime data stored on the super-powerful computer. It turned out that the computer was self-aware and was dangerous.

Peter acted as best man at the wedding of Ned Leeds and Betty Brant. The Spider had to deal with Doctor Octopus, who kidnapped Aunt May, as a result of being haunted by the ghost of Sledgehammer; defeat the Fly, and confront the Tinkerer, who restored the spidermobile, on the orders of the Kingpin. He teamed up with members of the X-Men team Nightcrawler and the Punisher to stop Jigsaw, who falsely accused the Punisher of several sniper kills.

The Spider encountered Bart Hamilton, Harry's therapist, who became the third Green Goblin. After several fighting clashes, he died at the hands of Harry. Later, Peter Parker proposed to Mary Jane, but she turned him down, making him doubt their relationship. She left for Florida with her aunt Anna.

Spider-Man managed to regain his good name, and Peter Parker graduated from ESU University. Spencer Smythe, the creator of the Spider-Killers, died of an illness after trying to destroy the Spider and Jameson, the people he blamed for ruining his life.

Appearance of the Cat

Since Peter Parker continued to live on his own, Aunt May decided to turn her home into a retirement home. At one point, the Spider began a romantic and partnership relationship with the Black Cat, he developed feelings for her and even began to love her, but suddenly he ended the relationship due to her contempt for his life.

"Friend" from Space

Previously, Spider-Man was among the heroes kidnapped by the powerful Beyonder to be part of his team called the Secret Wars. When his suit was damaged, Parker attempted to use futuristic technology to restore it to the Beyonder's planet, but instead, an alien "symbiote" emerged that turned the suit into a black version of Spider-Man, possibly due to the reappearance of Spider-Woman. . Parker used the symbiote as a costume on occasions when it was necessary to change into street clothes and also to make webs. At that time, Mary Jane returned to Peter's life.

Later, a man named Puma sprained Spider's arm. Trying to return it to its place, Spider-Man lost consciousness. The Black Cat rescued the superhero and sent him home. Mary came to visit him, thinking that Peter was very upset about something and was just trying to have fun. Peter pushed Mary out of his apartment. As soon as he closed the door, Puma invaded him. During their fight, Puma became convinced that Peter's web was organic. After the fight, Parker returned home and Mary Jane confessed that she knew he was Spider-Man. He tried to convince her, but suddenly the Black Cat appeared and Mary left. The cat said that Mary was just "an empty place", for which Peter hit her. As soon as she started to leave, the costume caught her arm in webs of its own accord, and Felicia (thinking he did it on purpose) decided to stay. Peter noticed that the suit was behaving very strangely, so he sought help from Mister Fantastic of the Fantastic Four, who later discovered that the suit was a living organism. He helped take the suit away and place it at the Fantastic Four's headquarters. Later, the symbiote would escape, causing a lot of problems for Parker, and eventually merge with one of Spider-Man's critics, Eddie Brock, to form the villain, Venom. Ultimately, Venom and Spider fought each other, and Peter overpowered his new opponent.

Life is getting better

As Spider-Man, Parker has taken on just about every superhero in Manhattan, if not the entire world. Although he fought for the Avengers many times, he unsuccessfully tried to officially join their ranks when he found out about the financial scholarships that the members of the team receive. Peter helped them stop the invasion, make a sudden breakthrough in energy research, and create a criminal internment facility (Project Pegasus). The team appreciated Spider-Man, however, in order not to break the cohesion of the existing group (perhaps due to his "loner" nature, or lack of experience, or boring sense of humor), he was denied membership.

After an adventure and a fight with Electro, Peter and Mary Jane got married. Peter's longtime friend, Harry Osborn, rented a loft in the house he used to live in with his family. At some point, Jane's cousin - Christy - temporarily moved in with Parker. But, in the end, due to financial problems, Parker had to move into a room in Aunt May's house.

During this time, Spider-Man once again teamed up with the Avengers to stop the alien Nebula and his Infinity alliance from destroying the universe. This all greatly unnerved the Spider; unaccustomed to dealing with threats of cosmic proportions, he allowed Nebula to absorb the Union forces. As a result, the Avengers, Spider-Man and the alien Wanderer were able to thwart all the plans of the enemy. Parker was told that he was not suitable for membership in the Avengers, but then he was put into their number on a temporary basis.

Peter later returned to his studies and to work as a graduate assistant at Empire State University. During this time, Parker was empowered by Captain Universe to stop the robots and the mutant-slayer Triple Guardian. After the threat was eliminated, the newly minted forces left him.

Kraven's last hunt

Second Clone Saga

Supposedly, Aunt May had a heart attack. Because of this, the Parkers met with Ben Reilly (his clone created by the Jackal). Reilly created the exact same costume as the Spider and took on the nickname Scarlet Spider. He helped Spider-Man on his later adventures. Soon, Mary Jane became pregnant and it became clear that Ben was actually Peter Parker and that Peter was a clone. This prompted Peter to leave his calling as Spider-Man and move to Portland. After the disaster in Portland, as a result of minor damage to Peter's cellular structure that prevented him from using his powers, he retired to devote time to his new family.

Returning to New York, Reilly assumed the identity of Spider-Man, since the second villain in the name of Doctor Octopus tarnished Scarlet Spider's reputation. After a few months in Portland, Peter and Mary Jane returned to New York. Peter's abilities returned to him after discovering a strange illness in which his body seemed to "reboot". However, his powers remained unpredictable and prone to disappear for a while. As soon as the powers returned to Peter, he and Ben considered the possibility of being Spider-Man together, since. after the war with the Onslaught, part of the Fantastic Four and many of the Avengers were lost. The plan was quickly thwarted when Mary Jane was rushed to the hospital in labor due to an unexpected medical emergency, which was later revealed to have been orchestrated by Norman Osborn, the very first Green Goblin. Osborn survived clinical death due to an unexpected increase in the healing factor, which was part of his powers, but no one had previously known about it. Mary Jane gave birth, but the Goblin kidnapped her and Peter's child. He admitted that he faked the test results that confirmed that Peter was a clone and Ben was the real one in order to ruin his life. During their ensuing battle, Ben Reilly jumped onto the Goblin's glider flying directly towards Peter, sacrificing himself to save Parker. Reilly's body disintegrated upon death, finally convincing Peter that he was not a clone. As a result of the "exposure", Peter again became the Spider. His fate with Mary's daughter remains unknown. After the abduction, there was no confirmation or refutation of her death.

Final chapter

After many months of adventuring, Norman Osborn returned to take control of the Daily Bugle, providing false information that he was never the Green Goblin and compromising all conflicting sources. He angered Peter, which led to Norman's brutal beating, which was recorded on a hidden camera in his house. By staging a fight and pretended murder of a petty criminal using what appeared to be webs, Osborn managed to create a fake feeling that Spider-Man was clearly a criminal, putting increased pressure on him. In order to continue his crime-fighting mission and investigate kidnappings, Parker had to give up his Spider-Man identity, creating 4 separate identities: Dusk, Hornet, Prodigy, and Ricochet. As the Dusk, Parker was able to investigate the villain Trapster, the only person capable of recreating his web, and get him to confess to harming Osborn (which exonerates Spider-Man and drops the charges). Next, he used Prodigy to provide false evidence that someone else in the Spider suit had attacked Osborn and reverted back to his identity. Later, Black Marvel (a hero during the Golden Age) acquired 4 suits, gave them to four teenagers, and formed a team called the Slingers.

Aunt May was alive; deceased woman, who looked similar to her, was in fact a genetically engineered actress. Parker, Mary Jane, and Aunt May have moved into a new apartment in Manhattan. Peter promised Mary that he would give up Spider-Man, but he ended up dressing up as a superhero at night. Their marriage was becoming strained, partly because of Mary Jane's new modeling career and partly because she had learned his secret. Later, Mary Jane, as a result of the explosion of the plane, was believed to have been killed. For a long time, Peter could not believe it, but later accepted this terrible event. Later it turned out that Mary is actually alive, and that she is in captivity of the villain who pursued her. Peter Parker found out about this and saved his beloved.

New life

Spider soon got a job as a teacher at his favorite school, Midtown. After getting a job there, he met a strange old man named Ezekiel, who had superpowers very similar to his. He knew about the existence of Peter's secret identity. The old man talked to him about abilities he never thought were possible: “Can radiation make a spider give you abilities? Or did the spider try to empower you before the radiation killed it? He also told how he dealt with the animal villains because their totem essence is stolen, impersonated or borrowed, which came easily to Peter. After many questions, he told Spider that his powers were "totem" in nature, and that the totem connected the animal to the inner world of a person, and also showed Peter what would happen if he stayed in show business.

Morlun

Ezekiel warned Peter of the existence of the totem predator Morlun, who would try to destroy him, and offered him a room that would prevent Morlun from finding him. Ignoring Ezekiel's warnings, and after being defeated by Morlun, the Spider tried to contact the old man for help. However, Ezekiel refused to help him, explaining to the Spider that now that Morlun knows the Spider's scent, this room is no longer useful. The Spider went looking for Morlun again when he learned that he was terrorizing the innocent.

After being defeated again, Ezekiel helped the Spider, and it seemed that he died. Peter managed to escape with a sample of Morlun's blood, which he discovered contained the DNA of every species in the animal kingdom. Realizing that Morlun's DNA was pure, Peter found a weakness in him that he could use to his advantage. Lure the enemy to nuclear power plant, Spider injected him with a lethal dose of radiation. Morlun turned into an "impure totem" which hurt him greatly when he attempted to breathe life force into himself, allowing Spider-Man to overpower him by injecting radiation into him with each hit. Morlun begged for mercy, explaining that he was doing everything just to survive. While Spider-Man was considering what to do with him, Morlan's assistant Dex shot his comrade. Spider allowed Dex to leave, and returned to Ezekiel's house to see if anyone was there. On the outside of the windows, he found footprints and a rubber spider. Later, after a brutal fight, Spider-Man returned to his home and fell into a deep sleep. Aunt May entered and discovered that Peter had severe wounds and scars, as well as a torn Spider suit lying on the floor.

After confronting the fact that her nephew is Spider-Man, Aunt May admitted that she knew about it since the events of 9/11. Now their relationship is stronger than ever and Mary Jane and Peter are finally reunited for good.

Queen

A mysterious woman named the Queen, thanks to an insect gene that influenced Spider's sensory perception, used her powers to bring together and control the people of New York. The spider arrived at her location, as did the . When Parker reached the top of the building, he fought the Queen until she screamed and threw him to the floor. Captain America attempts to rescue Peter, but is attacked by the Queen's followers. The Queen then kisses the Spider to induce a genetic mutation in him. He wakes up to find himself trapped by the Queen. Freed with the help of Cap, he discovered that he was dating a girl named Adriana in 1945. Once the Spider managed to capture the Queen, she forced some of the "zombified" people to commit suicide and the Spider is defeated due to her mental power. Cap throws the Queen off a building, but she manages to survive. On television, Mary Jane stops the Queen from kissing the Spider, and he swings on a web to clear his mind. Back at his apartment, Spider has a nightmare about the Queen and wakes up feeling unwell. He begins to mutate and acquires four eyes. Further, he continues to mutate and turns into a terrible humanoid spider. As a result, after defeating Peter, the Queen takes him with her. He becomes a giant spider and serves under her command. A giant spider was created to give birth to the Queen's offspring, but he died due to complications resulting from the transformation. In a fit of rage, the Queen, using telekinesis, destroyed the entire laboratory and ordered the drones to activate a bomb created to get rid of the entire population of America, except for people with the insect gene. The queen retired before the spider's shell shattered and Peter was reborn. Thanks to Spider-Sense, his strength has increased, and the web has become stronger. Spider-Man defused the bomb and the Queen was killed, presumably when S.H.I.E.L.D. attacked her underground base.

Shatra

When Peter lost his way, while traveling to the astral plane in search of the interdimensional child abductor, also known as the Shadow, he discovered a giant, spider-like, which said: "You are one of us..and not one of us..your time is not yet come." The resident of the Astral Pavilion, who there was a Spider-like Wasp (spider hunter), immediately understood the true nature of Spider-Man and pondered what to do with him, because. it was the perfect meal for her little hungry cubs. She followed him to Earth, fought with him and proved to be stronger, but he managed to escape from her. Shatra took this game in a different direction, taking on human form and choosing the name "Sharon Keller". Claiming to have had a relationship with Spider-Man, she went on television and continued talking about him on air to lure. Mary Jane's grief was the impetus for him to rise above ridicule and stand up to Sharon on television. She returned to her true form, having achieved her goal of getting Spider-Man to follow his natural instincts. As a result, the conflict has reached a new level of "natural selection" in which Spider-Wasp is the predator and Spider-Man is the prey. He managed to avoid the mindless rage and quickly slipped away to safety. Ezekiel rescued Peter, took him to a sacred temple located in Ghana, where he helped set a trap for the Tabernacle. Spider-Man deliberately allowed his arachnid nature to take over so that he could capture the Tabernacle and feed it to the spider that lived in the depths of the temple. Also, Ezekiel warned Peter that Morlun and Shatra weren't the only ones after him. A more powerful enemy is on the way.

Gatekeeper

Ezekiel warned Peter about the arrival of the Gatekeeper, who controls mystical powers. He also said that the Gatekeeper considered him unworthy, ever since he gained his powers due to an accident. If he had such abilities, he would have got rid of Spider-Man long ago. Ezekiel invites him to return with him to Ghana, but he refuses. At this time, a flock of spiders attacks New York. Spiderman is trying to save as much as possible more people, while Ezekiel tells him that the Gatekeeper has come to destroy him. Ezekiel convinces Peter to follow him. The spiders come together, thus forming the "body" of the Gatekeeper, who informs Peter that the bugs are very important to the world and the spiders are the predators of the bug world. Spider-Man attempts to destroy the Gatekeeper, but he is stronger. The villain says that the Spider was chosen by mystical powers and got his abilities back in that student demonstration, while the Gatekeeper became a natural hunter for the anger he endured in his life when he was bullied, for never being able to to repulse the enemy and kept the anger in himself, having learned never to give up in an unequal struggle. Suddenly, Peter realizes that this is contrary to everything Ezekiel said, and the Gatekeeper accuses him of stealing his abilities. Spider-Man woke up beaten and bloody. Ezekiel confesses that he should have killed him because the Gatekeeper would only let one of them live. Peter begins to realize that the supernatural evil he recently fought was actually on the lookout for Ezekiel. They fought and Ezekiel was victorious by stabbing Peter with a syringe. He tied the Spider to the pillar of the temple and stabbed him with a knife so that his blood oozed directly onto the spider runes depicted on the floor. Then a giant spider appeared to destroy Peter, while Ezekiel was already leaving. Panicked, Peter tries to use his spider-sense to connect with the mind of Ezekiel, who demonstrates his heroism and realizes that he wasted his entire life in search of wealth, and Peter is the only one who is worthy of his powers. Ezekiel sacrifices himself and thereby saves Peter. A shaman named Miguel buries Ezekiel and says that he atoned for all his sins when he saved Peter. The spider asks him if the appearance of his abilities is connected with science or magic, to which Miguel replies that they came from both spheres, they coexist together and Peter is destined to possess them.

New Avengers

After the Avengers disbanded, Peter was at Mary Jane's side when the explosion caused by Electro was seen on the raft of the Secret Superpowered Prison. He arrived on the raft to contain the holes from the explosion. Luke Cage, Sentry, and Spider-Woman (real name Skrull) were already there. They helped Spider-Man, Captain America and Iron Man. Forty-five of the most dangerous criminals were held in this prison by superheroes and SHIELD agents, but forty-two managed to escape. The superheroes, with the exception of Sentinel and Daredevil, formed a team called the New Avengers. The team was created in order to solve problems that no simple hero can cope with without state intervention and financial expenses. This is the only such team in the history of the Avengers. After the enemy destroyed the house of Peter and his aunt, they, along with Mary Jane, moved to the Avengers Tower.

Other

Immediately after joining the New Avengers, Peter discovered that for some reason his skin began to peel off. Knowing that the situation was hopeless, Morlun got into a fight with him and severely beat him, ripped out his left eye and ate it. Bleeding and with rapidly peeling skin, Spider-Man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. There Morlun attacked him again. Mary Jane tries to stop him, but he throws her across the room and breaks her arm. However, Peter regains consciousness and his savage, bestial nature takes over, along with developed sharp teeth and a stinger on his wrists. He destroyed Morlun right in front of Mary, after which he fell dead.

Iron Man took his body after that. While the New Avengers were mourning his eventual death, Spider's body vanished, leaving small pieces of skin behind. It turned out that his body briefly came back to life and formed a cocoon under the bridge. In the cocoon, a voice tells Peter that he never knew who he was and is too intimidated to be a true hero, paying attention only to his human nature, and not to the essence of a spider. Morlun managed to kill only a man in it, but the spider survived and dealt with the villain. He says that the spider will only be reborn if it accepts both of its sides, asking "Are you the one who dreamed of being a spider? Or a spider who dreamed of becoming a human? Are you the one…or the other one?”. Peter agreed with him and was resurrected in a brand new and healthy body. He arrives at Avengers Tower and reconciles with Mary Jane and Aunt May.

Peter met the creature Ero, whose body was shaped by thousands of pirate spiders that ate his old body. She claimed that she and Peter are part of one whole, and cosmic forces are fighting for control of his life, and Ero herself is his opposite. She told him that the God of Spiders - the Great Weaver - believed that his death was premature and revived him. The rest did not agree and the struggle began. Immediately after a short fight, Ero fled. The changes resulting from the fight with Morlun and the peeling of his skin led Peter to try to reconcile the "man and spider" within him. While trying to rescue people from a collapsing building, he found himself gaining incredible speed, a venomous and razor-sharp wrist sting, and night vision. Also increased sensitivity to danger through the vibration passing through the hair throughout the body and through the web, improved grip and ability to carry weights on the back.

Civil War: War in the House

Despite all the misgivings and support from his family, Peter initially sided with his mentor Iron Man in support of the superhero registration idea, but wasn't entirely convinced, as he believed that heroes needed to get public support for their actions. Most of the characters were public figures, and along with Peter, they were the main proponents of registration. Iron Man said that the idea of exposing would be correct if the people supported it. Peter planned to close all accounts and flee the country in case his confession caused him problems, but the family suggested that he not do so, believing that Peter just needed to get a confession. Along with Iron Man, at a conference in Washington DC, Peter confessed, "My name is Peter Parker and I've been Spider-Man since I was 15 years old." The fact that he joined the registration, the heroes noticed since Peter was engaged in improving the armor of the Iron Spider, which Stark had been inventing since Peter's death.

The reaction to recognition was completely different. Among the people who did not support this idea were Jameson (who fainted after watching the broadcast and came to "disown" Peter, considering him his son for many years) and Liz Allan (who blamed Peter for all the suffering).

However, the fight against the fugitives, the existence of the clone, and the imprisonment of those who failed to register with Iron Man's Negative Zone left Spider-Man with a bad impression. He also learned that Iron Man was watching him with the Iron Spider suit. This resulted in Spider having to lead Aunt May and Mary Jane out of the Tower to a secluded spot. He fights Stark, who deftly deflects blows with his armor, but defeats him and his team and slips away. In retaliation, Maria Hill sends the Thunderbolts, a team of registered villains, to find Spider-Man. While escaping through the sewers, Peter is attacked by Harlequin and Jack Lantern. They beat up Spider-Man, but before capturing him, they are killed by the Punisher, who then takes Peter to the New Avengers headquarters. After reuniting with the team and reuniting with his wife and aunt, Spider interrupts the news broadcast on television, announcing that he made a mistake by registering. He also expressed support for the opponents of registration and spoke about the prison of the Negative Zone. Spider-Man was one of the few who refused a general amnesty after the arrest and death of Captain America and continued to work with a secret team of New Avengers.

Peter took the death of Captain America very hard, even blaming himself for his death, although he was not present at the shooting. After meeting Rhino and receiving condolences from , Spider-Man decided to watch the Captain's funeral on TV with the entire crew. When the crew asked why they didn't go to the funeral, Spider replied that they couldn't risk being arrested by Tony Stark on the spot.

Back to darkness

The fact that the entire public now knew who Peter was allowed the Kingpin to try to "hit" his family. To do this, he sent his sniper to Peter's house. The spider managed to save Mary Jane, but the bullet hit Aunt May. He takes her to the hospital, where she falls into a coma. Following the trail of the shooting behind the sniper, the Spider came to a warehouse full of arms dealers. Beating everyone in anger, Peter got the names of those dealers who owned that very weapon. He put on his black suit and went in search of those who wronged his family. After learning the name of the sniper from the arms dealers, Spider-Man goes to him, but he is already killed by another mercenary. Then, he finds the shooter talking to the Kingpin on the phone. Peter takes him to the sewers, beats him up and threatens him to tell everyone to stay away from his family. During the Kingpin's prison riot, the Spider arrives on Ryker's Island to deal with him. The spider brutally beats the boss of the underworld and reproaches him for the lack of real powers. Before leaving, he warns Fisk that if his aunt dies, he will come back for him and the other prisoners, and will kill them slowly and painfully if they wish to harm his family.

Spider-Man confronted Ero, who was posing as nurse "Miss Arrow" at Midtown High, and captured Flash Thompson to use him to lay eggs. Spider and Ero began to fight using their sting. Ero manages to hit Peter in the shoulder, paralyzing him. Instead of the Flash, she decides to put the eggs inside Spider-Man. But Betty Brant managed to save him by shooting a bag of eggs from a gun. Ero tried to escape, but Spider-Man lured her into an aviary, where she was eaten by hundreds of birds. Peter decided to turn into Spider one last time.

Realizing that he could not afford to be a public figure, he agreed to assist in the healing of the Scarlet Spider in exchange for restoring the reputation of his secret essence.

After telling the media that Parker was part of the team but was cut from it, Peter left everyone confused - was Parker really the one and only Spider-Man? After finishing his investigation, Peter even met with the Almighty.

Deal with the devil for one more day

Peter became more and more desperate as he tried to save Aunt May's life. He asked for help from Doctor Strange, having learned that even magic could not save her. Peter also approached Tony Stark, who sent Jarvis with $2 million to pay for all hospital expenses and organize May. best care. At one point, Eddie Brock was found in Aunt May's room, where he tried to commit suicide by jumping out of a window. The interdimensional demon Mephisto offered to save Aunt May in exchange for the love of Peter and Mary Jane. As part of this deal, everyone will forget that Peter was once Spider-Man. As a consequence of this decision, their daughter will never exist. Mephisto changed the course of history so that Peter didn't show up for his own wedding, but stayed with Mary Jane as a couple. But these changes caused Doctor Strange, who erased the memory and memories of people about Spider-Man (from everyone except Mary Jane, the Jackal and all his clones, although he later turned into members of the Fantastic Four, and also returned Harry Osborn to of life) put a "blind spot" on Peter that prevented people from realizing that Peter Parker and Spider-Man were the same person, unless someone had seen him without his mask. But Mary Jane was deeply upset, knowing that this is a strong emotional pain when no one on the whole planet remembers you. She and Peter agreed that they still loved each other and decided to remain friends because their relationship put people close to them in danger.

Harry Osborn has returned from the European Rehabilitation Center, where he spent five years. Looking for work, Peter rejoined the Daily Bugle, now run by Dexter Bennett, and began working as a reporter photographer, which neither his aunt nor Harry would have approved of. However, the pictures he took of the famous Bobby Carr led to the death of women by some lunatic, and Peter decided to tear up all the new pictures. After that, Bennett fired him. Peter soon learned that Bennett had blacklisted him from nearly every news outlet in the city, preventing him from finding a job. Harry suggested that he find a job where Bennett had no authority, so he joined his rival, Front Page.

The Kingdom of Darkness and the American Son

After the Skrull invasion, Norman Osborn, who destroyed their Queen, who appeared in the form of Spider-Woman in the last battle, took the position of head of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Initiative, which Stark used to hold. He donned a modified Iron Man armor, with a Captain America design, and became known as the "Iron Patriot". Norman disbanded S.H.I.E.L.D. and created H.A.M.M.E.R and his own personal Avengers, mostly made up of hardened criminals who served in the Thunderbolts. Since Osborn made Venom more like Spider-Man in order to be accepted into the Dark Avengers, Peter had to reveal his secret identity to the New Avengers in order to win the team's trust unconditionally. At the same time, she left, although in her school years she was in love with Peter.

During a trip to the Macroverse, Spider-Man re-confessed himself to the Fantastic Four and returned to find that two months had passed as normal. Jameson became the new mayor of New York, Aunt May and Father Jameson began a relationship, Harry became an alcoholic, and Michelle Gonzales moved into a new apartment. Then the Spider realized that he must act against Norman Osborn and his Dark Reign. Thanks to the Fickle Four's Fickle Molecules, Spider-Man disguised himself as Venom infiltrated Osborn's Avengers team, and learned that Osborn planned to make his son into a new hero called American Son and kill him in battle to increase the popularity of the Avengers. After the Spider was captured by Norman Osborn, Harry wanted to kill his father using the American Son armor when he learned the truth that his father was dating his girlfriend Lily Hollister. But Spider-Man was able to prevent this from happening.

Revenge and brutal hunting

After the wedding of Aunt May and Jay, John's father, with the help of the Human Torch, Spider managed to save Jameson from Doctor Octopus. By this time, Mary Jane had already returned to New York, but Peter rekindled his relationship with the Black Cat. Then he fought with a man who wanted to kill Ben Reilly, and learned about the appearance of a clone of Spider-Man - Cain. Despite the problems that existed, Peter still helped Jackpot start the fight against crime, and overcome Mister Negative's powerful control over corruption.

The Kravin family plotted revenge on Spider-Man by kidnapping Madame Web and Mattie Franklin, one of the Spider-Women. Peter managed to get a videotape of Osborn doing illegal experiments, and in order to ruin his reputation, Spider-Man exposes it to the public.

He later re-encountered such criminals as Electro (who destroyed the Daily Bugle building), Sandman (who became obsessed with raising "his daughter" Kimia), Rhino (who ordered the destruction of the new Rhino who killed his wife), Mysterio (who started a war between gangs), the Vulture (who tried to get rid of Jameson) and the Lizard (who developed and "killed" his alter ego and son Billy). Most of them were helped by Craven's wife, Sasha. She wanted to get back at Spider-Man by staging many of these attacks so that Peter could be more convincing as a victim.

The Kravin family got rid of Matty Franklin, resurrected Hunter Grim, finally caught Spider-Man and killed him to resurrect Kraven. But, as it turned out, the corpse belonged to Cain, who had previously knocked out Peter and switched bodies with him to save him, and thus the resurrection ritual made Kraven immortal.

After winning the fight against the Kravin family, Madame Web died, and Julia Carpenter took her mantle for herself. The survivors left New York. Some time later, Kain was resurrected from the dead by the Jackal, and mutated into an even more spider-like creature.

Success

The defeat of Osborn and the repeal of the Incorporation Act was followed by the Siege of Asgard and a major war between Doctor Octopus and Spider-Man to get Norman Osborn's son back from Lily Hollister. The Spider learned that the child was actually from Harry, after which he leaves the city and takes care of his upbringing. Peter starts an affair with police officer Carly Cooper.

Spider-Man's career developed rapidly. He brought the Avengers back together and also remained among the New Avengers, who were no longer criminals. He learned that Michelle was moving and therefore would no longer be able to live in his apartment. Thanks to Jameson's wife - Marla Madison - as compensation for the fact that Jameson once fired him, he found a dream job - a scientist in the Horizon laboratory, where he had access to high technologies and resources, could come and go at any time if he showed good results at work. Spider helped the Avengers defeat Doctor Octopus's army. He was then attacked by the new Hobgoblin and Kingpin, but a few days later he lost Marla in a fight with the Killer Spiders Alistair Smythe.

24 Hour Hero

After Johnny (the Human Torch) died preventing an invasion from the Negative Zone, Peter joined the Fantastic Four, now called the Future Core, at Johnny's last wish. Peter helped them deal with a clone of Reed Richards from another dimension and the Sinister Six, who managed to steal the latest technology from the Baxter Building.

Their third mission was in the Caribbean, on Earth. There, Reed placed the epicenter of the spatial anomalies, the elimination of which the Foundations of the Future were engaged in. While the team was exploring the island, they were attacked by zombie pirates. They were all later revealed to be fakes created by the Sinister Six, and only Mysterio and the Chameleon were real, while the other four were robots. Meanwhile, Doctor Octopus and his assistants infiltrated the Baxter building, stealing the latest technology needed to further the doctor's plans.

spider island

After assisting Anti-Venom (Eddie Brock) in exposing Mister Negative and supporting the Avengers Academy (having learned that his aunt was leaving for Boston with Jay), Spider-Man faced a new problem: the Jackal returned and endowed the majority of the population of New York with the powers of spiders.

The Spider Queen turned out to be a real genius who wanted to turn all of humanity into spiders. Mister Fantastic invented a cure using the Anti-Venom symbion. After fighting Peter (under the influence of the Jackal), his clone - Kain - was accidentally healed, turning him into the perfect clone.

During the confrontation with the Queen, along with the Avengers, in Central Park, Cain was able to destroy her, and Peter gave the cure to every inhabitant of the city through the octobots (mentally controlled) of Doctor Octopus. He met his aunt and Jay when they were about to leave for Boston. Peter meets Cain by chance and he informs him that he is leaving New York with the Spider suit secretly kept since Madame Web warned him that the suit might be needed in the future.

Also, after demonstrating his abilities during the events on Spider-Island, Peter's "blind spot" weakened, allowing Carly to guess that he was Spider-Man, which was the reason for her to break up with him. While retrieving the latest sample of Mary Jane's cure, he encountered Madame Web on the roof of the Horizon Lab building. She advised him to drink the medicine to get rid of his powers and someone else would come and take his place. Peter states that giving up his gift would be the most irresponsible thing he would ever do. Madame Web warns Spider that he will get over the loss. Peter heals Mary Jane and together they watch the Empire State building painted in his honor.

Land's End

After fighting off old enemies like Vulture and his minions, Spider-Man teams up with Daredevil and Black Cat. The Human Torch has risen from the dead. Spider-Man has come face to face with the return of danger.

Before his death, Doctor Octopus wanted to be remembered as the man who saved the planet by stopping the Greenhouse Effect. Equipped with a new suit, Spider-Man joins the Avengers to take down Octopus and his Sinister Six.

The octopus subjugated each of the Avengers. Silver Sable, who followed Spider into battle, saved him and Black Widow. When they attempted to reach one of Octopus' production satellites, they were forced to fend off Sandman. Doctor Octopus sought the help of all nations to capture Spider-Man. He also summoned many villains to keep an eye on the Spider and his allies. To counter this, Spider-Man summoned all the superheroes that had existed on Earth until then to destroy all Octopus production. Arriving at the main base in Romania, Doctor Octopus reported that the Spider was right and activated the satellites. This caused a huge explosion in the sunny territories. When the trio left the base, they saw what really happened. Then Sable asked what if this is the territory of Simkaria, to which Peter replied that this is half the world, and: “We didn’t succeed.” The explosion turned out to be a trick by Mysterio (only a small part of the city was on fire), while the Chameleon sent his robots against Spider-Man. After they are defeated, Spider is persuaded by Mysterio to help him capture Octopus at his base in Guatemala, but Octopus uses the zombified Avengers as replacements for his Sinister Six team. To save at least half of Simkaria, Sable kissed Peter. But he refused to date her because he rekindled his relationship with Mary Jane.

Spider-Man, Sable, and Widow defeated the Avengers and then headed towards Octopus' underwater base together. There they fought the Rhino. As the base began to sink, Octopus captured Sable and gave Spider a choice: if he continued to fight him, he would save Sable from drowning (but then Octopus activated the lenses), or drown himself, leaving Sable to fight Octopus. By leaving Sable to die at her own request, Spider managed to break Octopus's arms and destroy all of his equipment, and thus finally save the world. Peter was very upset over the deaths of Silver Sable and Rhino, as he believed that he could have saved them more than once. However, Julia Carpenter told him that Sable actually survived.

Avengers vs X-Men

When Cable returned and captured the Avengers, Spider-Man went with Wolverine to help the team. Wolverine was very interested in destroying Cable, while Spider was hesitant to do so. Cable was eventually defeated. After failing to heal the Lizard with Morbius, Spider joined the Avengers against the X-Men. He was present at the siege of Utopia and, along with Wolverine, they tried to take Hope with them. But they failed, as Hope manifested the Phoenix Force, which weakened their powers and almost burned Wolverine. Spider-Man joined one of the teams trying to find Hope around the world, and even came into conflict with some mutants, most notably the Juggernaut.

After the Phoenix Force split into 5 parts and possessed Cyclops, Emma Frost, Magik, Namor, and Colossus, Spider traveled to a mythical town called K'un-Lun due to a prophecy that predicted that he would train Hope Summers. Initially, she did not react to him as a teacher, Peter told her the phrase that his uncle was so fond of repeating: great power comes great responsibility. Later, their relationship improved.

The Avengers tried to free their comrades from the Phoenix Force by amplifying the power of Colossus and Magik's abilities. The spider bought them time for this. When Spider-Man was broken by Colossus, Magik ordered him killed, but Colossus replied that they were turning into things they weren't supposed to be due to the sheer power they wielded. Spider-Man took advantage of the situation and managed to turn them against each other, already being seriously injured himself. As a result, they "knocked out" each other and the Phoenix Force was extracted from them. Also, Peter was present at the final battle against the Dark Phoenix, Cyclops, and was the first to sense the emergence of new mutants after Scarlet Witch and Hope destroyed the Phoenix Force.

Spidermen: A Hero in Two Worlds

Moving around the city on the web, Spider-Man noticed Mysterio in the warehouse, dressed in a different suit. As a result of the shootout, Peter was killed and sent through a dimensional rift to another dimension, where he encountered the Spider-Man of that world - Miles Morales. Although he initially prevailed, Peter eventually subdued him and sent him to S.H.I.E.L.D. under their care. Having regained consciousness, Peter interrogated, who believed that the story began on another planet and sent him with Miles to learn the history of this world.

During their conversation, Peter and Miles were attacked by a robotic avatar sent by Mysterio, who self-destructed after the fight and knocked Miles unconscious. Subsequently, Peter decided to figure things out for himself and was shocked and horrified when he found out that his counterpart in this world had died fighting the Green Goblin and that the entire city was bereaved because he was a public figure. On his way to the Queen, Spider-Man ran into May Parker and Gwen Stacy. Enraged that this Spider-Man is insulting the memory of the deceased Spider, the two attacked Peter, but Miles vouched for him. Aunt May passed out.

When she woke up, she went up the stairs and heard Peter talking to Gwen. When she asked him what happened to her in another dimension, Peter became very uncomfortable and changed the subject of the conversation. Aunt May and Peter had a touching reunion, and Peter was also very surprised that he once dated. Nick Fury arrived to pick him up with Miles, and for a second Peter spotted Mary Jane's doppelgänger as she was leaving. He was brought to Iron Man and they began to work on the space-time formula together, with Miles pointing out a familiar building in a video of the last time they fought Mysterio.

Peter led an attack against Mysterio's headquarters, where they quickly subdued him before the villain could close the portal and leave Peter trapped in Earth-1610 forever. After giving Miles his blessing as the new Spider-Man, Peter returned to his own world. Peter then searched the internet for information about whether Miles Morales was indeed his doppelgänger and seemed shocked by what he saw online.

Dying Wish: Hero's Death

Using Octobot to swap minds, Doctor Octopus managed to swap with Peter Parker by going into Spider-Man's body. He imprisoned Peter in his dying body.

Just as Doctor Octopus had access to Peter's mind, Spider-Man could read Octopus' mind. This is how Peter discovered that Octopus was using the Octobot to switch between brain structures to carry out his plan. Peter was able to connect to this Octobot and use it to send messages to all the villains asking him to be released from his imprisonment. Hydro-Man, Scorpion, and Trapster took notice of the message, freeing Doctor Octopus from the fusion, and were tasked with the mission of bringing Spider-Man to him.

He installed new tentacles for himself and decided to look for the Octobot, to which his brain was connected. He traveled to Stark Tower to seek his help, only to find Octopus in the form of Spider-Man, who had unleashed a string of giant Octobots around the world to distract the Avengers. They fought until both fell from the Tower. The octopus was mortally wounded. When Octopus attempted to communicate with the Octobot, Spider figured it out, as he wears a Carbonadium helmet that protects his brain from various implants. Otto announced the final victory over the Spider, inflicting a fatal blow on him.

As it turned out later, Octobot managed to connect their minds (although he could not change them; Parker's mind was in Octopus). Peter forced Otto to relive Spider-Man's most painful memories. Otto said he didn't want it, but they couldn't change bodies in time. Finally, Otto promised Peter to continue his legacy as Spider-Man. Pleased that his last wish had been granted, Peter Parker died.

Superior Spider-Man: Return of the Hero

While Otto Octavius continued the work of the Spider, he inadvertently saved a man in the way that a real Spider-Man would do. It turned out that Peter's soul survived in the form of a subconscious (while he cannot control the body as a whole). Peter was intent on regaining his former life and body back by capturing Otto from the inside and possibly getting help from others who could understand him in this situation. But Otto was able to notice this strange presence of Peter in his brain, and proceeded, it would seem, to clear. In fact, Peter survived, he just decided to hold his ground so that Otto could not destroy him.

During a brutal assault on Manhattan organized by the Green Goblin, Otto found himself overwhelmed by opponents with no help or allies. Realizing that he couldn't be the "excellent" Spider-Man he claimed to be, Otto let Peter's subconscious in. He reappeared to push Otto to save a small child in order to defeat the Goblin King, who had captured Anna Maria Marconi, Otto's beloved. Peter was able to track down the Goblin King, thwart his plan and disable him, and rescue Anna Maria. However, Osborn managed to escape with the help of Liz Allan.

After all the events, Peter took over the management of Parker Industries, which was created by Otto, and apologized to family members for his eccentric behavior, promising the public to end Spider-Man once and for all. He also noticed his aunt's prosthetic leg, which Otto had given her. Peter discussed with Mary Jane the time when Otto acted instead of him, but she, realizing that his double life can no longer affect her, quickly cuts this conversation off. Later, he decided to look at Jameson, whom Otto blackmailed, demanding to give him all his savings and supplies, while Spider-Man himself urged him to stay and fight to the last, but it was too late - Jameson had already resigned from the post of mayor of the city .

Peter traveled around Houston, Texas looking for Cain, who became the new Scarlet Spider. Pretending to be a Bugle reporter, he approached Courtney Johnson. She revealed that Kain had transformed into a giant Spider, and Peter realized that Kain had become a container for the Others. Peter was approached by Cain's friend Donald Meland, who thought that Peter was Cain's brother. Meland told him that Cain saved him many times, fought crime, and even once delivered him from the curse of immortality. After hearing from people about his heroic deeds, Peter realized that Cain had become a hero like himself and wished him all the best before returning to New York. Also, the Living Brain, who served the Octopus, became his assistant.

An excerpt from Spider-Man

Peter spends more time adjusting to his new state of affairs and getting used to being the CEO of his own company. As Spider-Man, he joined the Avengers in investigating the murder of the Watchers. Then the flash from Orb's eye directed at Uatu hit everyone within its blast radius, and the deepest secret associated with them was revealed. Peter was hit by the blast and found that another person had been bitten by the same spider. She turned out to be the girl Cindy Moon, whom Spider-Man rescued from a long captivity from Ezekiel's penthouse. She took on the pseudonym Silk as soon as she was released. But her release left her defenseless against Morlun, who she believed would kill not only her, but anyone with spider powers.

Weeks later, Peter summoned a host of Spider-Men from all over the Multiverse who asked him to fight back against the Inheritors (Morlun and his family members) on Earth -13 because in previous events involving the Others, he had been able to defeat the Inheritor.

During a mission on Earth -928, dialing as much as possible more spiders to the team, Peter was very surprised to see Otto Octavius among them (he was temporarily sent to another reality a few months before his death). After Daemos sought them out on Earth-928 and joined the rest of his family, the Spider-Men were forced to split up and flee. At this point, Peter unmasked one dying Spider and recognized him as an alternate version of Ezekiel, who asked him to protect Others, Bride and Offspring from death. Back on Earth-13, Otto declared himself in charge.

After defeating Otto for leadership of the team, Peter stayed with Anya Corazon and Gwen Stacy to find someone who could help infiltrate the Inheritors team. Immediately after they left, the safe-zone was attacked by Solus, Jennix, and Morlun. Solus killed Captain Universe and the Spider army was forced to flee. Their new hideout Earth -8847 was soon attacked by the Inheritors. Silk, who traveled alone, contacted them from Earth-3145 and told them to hide on the radiation-infested Earth where the Inheritors could not find them. Having taken refuge in the Sims Tower, the army of spiders found Ben Parker's totem of all spiders there. This image of Uncle Peter was incapable of fighting again. Using the scrolls containing the prophecy given to Spider-Man by Spider-Woman, who had previously visited their base, the Inheritors attempted to fulfill the prophecy. The Spider Army has learned that the Inheritors are going to sacrifice the Others, the Bride, and the Scion to stop the new totems from spawning. The Spiders also learned of Karn, an exiled Scion who only hunted for survival and hoped to be welcomed back home. After Peter sent a team after Karn, Kain arrived in Lumworld to fight the Inheritors, using the Others' power to the fullest to destroy Solus before being killed by Morlun. Afterwards, he, along with Otto, convinced Ben of Earth-3145 to fight one last time. Spider-Man quickly gathered the Spider Army and they went into battle against the Inheritors.

Spider-Man and the Spider-Army succeeded in interrupting a ritual conducted by the Inheritors, in which they were going to use the blood of the Others, the Descendant, and the Bride, and the corpse of Cain, Benji Parker, and Silk, in that order, to stop more spiders from spawning. Morlun cornered Spider and began to feed on his essence, then Peter, using his wrist teleporter, transported them to the radiation-infested New York City on Earth-3145. Silk cured Peter, leaving Morlun there to die. The rest of the Inheritors were also sent to Earth-3145 after being defeated. Spider-Man told them that there was a hideout in the Sims Tower where they could run if they wanted to survive.

With the Inheritors dealt with, the spider totems were no longer in danger. However, Otto Octavius had to kill Master Weaver, the controller of the Web of Life and Fate, in order to stop the Inheritors' ritual, which resulted in the Spider Army being unable to return home using teleportation.

When the Spider of Great Britain used his teleportation abilities to open portals to other realities, Octavius began destroying the Web of Life and Fate in an attempt to escape the future that was in store for him.

The spiders from Earth-616 joined forces against him. Reading the inscription on Morlun's dagger, it became clear that another Spider could supplant Master Weaver. Karn, who had enough spider-sense to go it alone, decided to become the new Master Weaver. With a new owner, the Web of Life and Fate was restored and Octavius was sent back to his past, losing much of his memory of recent events in the process. There were no more problems to confront, and Spider-Man and the rest of the spiders were sent back home.

Around the world

Over many months into the future, Peter managed to transform Parker Industries, the company "legacy" from Octavius, into a worldwide group of companies with numerous bases in various countries, providing technologies to improve the quality of life. These changes in Peter's life also affected his alter ego. The Spider has officially become the face of Parker Industries and a worldwide Hero, in the guise of Peter's personal bodyguard. To maintain visibility, Parker also hired Hobie Brown as a doppelgänger when the Spider needed it.

Spider-Man's reputation

Some argue that in New York, Peter has gained enough reputation not only among superheroes, but also villains and civilians too. His aunt May found information on the Internet that he saved about 10,000 lives by himself, without outside help, without defusing bombs and various devices.

When the Hood began his career in the underworld and was almost killed by the Constrictor, he remarked how unfamiliar cruelty was to him and that he "shouldn't even get into a fight with Spider-Man". Despite all the grudges that he had built up inside, Parker made peace with former enemies such as the Punisher (now his ally), Venom (now known as Toxin), Molten Man, Jet Racer, Kane (now known as the Scarlet Spider) , even found out if everything was in order with the Frog-Man after he was released from prison.

Contrary to his heroic deeds, Spider-Man is also infamous for the numerous campaigns against him that tarnish his name, especially when it is the work of the Daily Bugle. The reason for this gossip is the manager and chief publisher of the Bugle newspaper, Jay Jonah Jameson, who strongly distrusted a creature in a suit crawling along the walls, which, according to him, has nothing to do with the law and only distracts attention from the "real heroes" - civil servants. .

In addition, it turned out that Spider-Man did not like to get involved with the NYPD, even though he fought criminals. The police distrusted him because of the lynching and were in an awkward position when the Spider caught criminals that she could not handle. For some cops, this dislike turned into hatred. They wanted to convict the "Wall Crawler" in violation of the law and came up with various plans to capture him.

During the fight with Cable, he remarked that Spider-Man would become one of the greatest heroes in the future. Also, Spider-Man helped the villain return his kidnapped daughter. As a result, they hated each other, but sincerely respected.

After Doctor Octopus attempted to become a better Spider-Man than Parker by switching bodies with him, he was unable to stop the Green Goblin from taking over Manhattan, and admitted that Peter was indeed the "Excellent Spider-Man and Superhero".

Spider-Man relationship

His love affairs included: Black Cat, Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson, Betty Brant, Charlie Cooper, Michelle Gonzales, Carol Denveers, Liz Allan, Debra Whiteman, Cissy Ironwood, Sarah Bailey, Silver Sablinova (Silver Sable), Jessica Drew , Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow), Julia Carpenter, and also Silk and Lian Tang. But, Mary Jane Watson was the only woman he married before Mephisto changed reality. Jessica Jones had a crush on him at school, which made Luke Cage a little jealous.

Spider-Man's abilities

Physiology of the Spider: Peter Parker has the powers of a spider, granted to him by Achaearanea tepidariorum, which bit him during Parker's visit to the exhibition (apparently the spider had previously mutated under the influence of radiation). The radioactive, complex mutagenic enzymes in the spider's blood that were transferred at the time of the bite caused numerous changes within Parker, granting him superhuman strength, speed, a strong body, and multiple spider abilities. This mutation produced in him an "extension of the structure of the chromosomes."
Many years later, Ezekiel Sims explained to Peter that his abilities were not of scientific origin, but a sign that he would become the embodiment of the totem of the Web of Life and Destiny. It was difficult for Peter to accept this, but in the future, he came to the conclusion that both options were likely, and in a number of cases his powers mysteriously increased.

Wall moving: Exposure to a modified spider venom triggered the ability to mentally control the flow of interatomic attraction between molecular boundary layers. This helped overcome the normal behavior of the outer electron shell, mutual repulsion from other outer electron shells, and the huge potential for electron attraction to dominate. The mentally controlled subatomic particles responsible for this have yet to be determined. This ability affects the attraction between surfaces while limited to his body (especially in the hands and feet), and on the other hand, the upper limit is several tons for each finger. One day, Spider-Man prevented Anti-Venom from removing his mask by sticking it to his face.

Mark of Kane: A highly amoral clone of Spider-Man showed Peter the ability to use his wall-crawling ability in an offensive manner.
The essence of the ability lies in the fact that Spider-Man "glues" his fingers or palm to the victim and tears off a piece of the victim's skin and flesh. Once Peter Parker used this ability against the Green Goblin, sticking his fingertips to his face and thus poke five deep holes in Norman. Despite the clear offensive potential of such an ability, Peter stated that he was unlikely to use it again. Later, furious at Sasha Kravinoff for everything she put him and his family through, he used his Mark of Kaine against her, ripping open the skin of her face and leaving a handprint shaped mark on her, proclaiming, "This is from my brother." He could also use the power of the Mark of Kaine to rip Iron Man's armor off piece by piece. There were limits to this ability, apparently psychosomatic, but its nature has not yet been studied.

Superhuman strength: Spider-Man has superhuman strength, allowing him to lift tons of weight. Spider-Man is physically strong enough to allow him to lift and throw heavy objects (such as a truck) with ease. He always pushes with his hands and feet when fighting, with the exception of fights with his kind or with opponents of greater physical strength. Otherwise, his blows will prove fatal to normal person. He has demonstrated that he is so strong that he can knock down a stable person with the slightest blow to the head. Due to this, he rarely allows himself to use all his powers (after Doctor Octopus took over Spider-Man's body, he easily punched through Scorpion's jaw (he usually seems to be physically stronger than Spider), as he did not know Parker's true strength ). He also has very strong legs, allowing him to jump several stories high (he once jumped from a standing position to a height of 30 feet). It should also be noted that when he first learned about his abilities as a teenager, they were not as developed as they are currently.

superhuman speed: Spider-Man is capable of moving at speeds that are far beyond the natural physical limits of the average athlete. He is quite fast and can catch up with a speeding car on foot, but still prefers to move around with the help of webs. Spider-Man moves faster than human eyes can see. At times, he even seemed blurry due to his speed. He could easily outrun many Green Goblins in gliders and repel their attacks at the same time.

Superhuman Stamina: Spider's enhanced musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than a normal human. This allows him to exert less physical effort for longer periods of time before fatigue begins to show. Spider-Man can be at his peak physical activity for hours before the fatigue in his blood begins to affect him. Some believe that Spider-Man is able to hold his breath for eight minutes or more.

Superhuman Resilience: Spider-Man's body is physically stronger and more resistant to certain types of injury than the body of an ordinary person. His body is more resistant to shock. He can withstand strong shocks, such as falling from a height of several floors or being hit by another superhero. In the past, he survived several hits from, and also survived the explosion of a rocket fired at point-blank range. Spider-Man's body is so strong that when punched in the stomach by a heavyweight boxer, he broke his hands. After this incident, Spider-Man decided that he should turn punches from people with less stamina than he had to prevent fractures.

Regenerating Healing Factor: Spider-Man has a low rate of rapid healing (not the same as Wolverine). He has enough strength to recover from such severe injuries as broken bones and large tissue damage within a few hours. During the battle with the villain "Masked Marauder", Spider-Man went blind, but after about 2 days, his vision returned and became perfect, although the sensitivity returned after about a day. On one occasion, Spider-Man suffered severe 3rd degree burns, only to fully heal after a few days.
Immunity to Harmful Substances: Due to his accelerated metabolism, Spider-Man has a higher resistance to drugs and disease than normal humans and can recover from the effects fairly quickly. Spider-Man was once stung by thousands of bees, but recovered in less than 24 hours. His resistance to and recovery time from toxins and disease varies, but is generally substantially higher than that of a normal human. His unique physiology even allowed him to recover from the effects of vampirism. According to Blade, his radioactive blood can destroy the enzymes responsible for transforming into a vampire and return him to normal life. Spider-Man was able to fully recover from the acid spat in his eyes by the Vulture, although the extent of the damage may have been less due to his super resilience. Also, Spider-Man has a normal alcohol tolerance.

Superhuman Agility: His agility, balance, and coordination are increased to maximum levels and far beyond the natural physical limits of the average athlete. Spider-Man is extremely flexible, with tendons and connective tissues twice as elastic as a normal human despite their increased strength. He simultaneously combines agility with the acrobatic tricks of the most experienced circus gymnasts and acrobats. He can also perform complex gymnastic tricks in any sequence, such as somersaults, rope climbs, and springs. He could easily set a record at the Olympics by performing gymnastics on equipment such as flying rings, climbing walls, horizontal bars, trampolines, etc. He once even surpassed the tricks of Captain America and Daredevil.

Superhuman Equilibrium: Spider-Man has the ability to achieve a state of perfect balance in any position imaginable. He is able to adjust his position instinctively, allowing him to balance almost any object, no matter how small or narrow.

Superhuman reflexes: Spider's reflexes are also elevated and are currently forty times higher than those of the average person. Combined with his Spider Senses, his reflexes allow him to dodge almost any attack, or even shots given the distance. In some cases, to be able to dodge shots, he used only his reflexes, without spider sense.

Spider Sense: Spider-Man has a psychic "danger sense" - Spider-Sense, which alerts him to potential threats through a tingle in the back of his head and a kinesthetic display that allows him to avoid most dangers unless he cognitively disables these reflexes. The nature of this feeling has not been studied, although the Weaver claims that it allows you to connect to the Web of Life and Fate. This sense can respond completely to the whole organism, but cannot distinguish the nature of the threat by sensations. However, the strength of his reaction can distinguish the severity of the danger. His spider-sense is directional and can tell him how far or close danger and enemies are. Sudden and extreme threats can cause his ability to react with painful intensity. Spider-Man can also sense and dodge random attacks, or those directed with artificial intelligence. Using his time sense to enhance his reflexes, Spider-Man can unknowingly dodge attacks. His senses are so connected to reflexes that a defensive reaction can occur even when Spider-Man is asleep or stunned. The instinct helped him keep his identity secret, as it warned him that cameras were watching him when his costume changed. The instinct reacted to those whom Peter did not consider as a threat, such as Aunt May. Spider-Man can deliberately ignore this ability or deliberately distract himself. Physical fatigue is known to reduce the effectiveness of Flair. His fighting style has the advantage of helping Spider with his senses. His body starts producing more adrenaline when his senses kick in. Even when he can't see with his own eyes, Spider-Man can still use his Spider-Sense in a similar way to Daredevil's radar. This helps him see and determine the direction of danger based on the sounds around him. It was first used when Spider-Man was temporarily blinded by some kind of device, and was also recently used to locate Vulture after his acid breath blinded Spider.

Unstoppable Will: Spider-Man possesses great Willpower, completely free from evil and temptation. For years, he has struggled to balance his life, coping with his studies while simultaneously taking on the responsibilities of being a superhero. Defeat only made him stronger. His soul powers are also shown when he successfully fights the nanobots sent by Doctor Octopus. Through psychological profiling by Mireille Hill, she stated that no one was as strong as the well-rooted personality of Spider-Man, who demonstrated the extent of his willpower. His willpower is so powerful that Ben Reilly of Earth-94 considered him to be the greatest of all Totems in the entire universe.

genius level of intelligence A: With an IQ of 250, Peter is easily one of the smartest people on earth. Brilliant minds such as Reed Richards and Hank Pym recognized Parker's mind, whose potential was equal to their own. In addition, the IQ scores he got in college were the same as those of R. Richards at the same age. Peter is so smart that he is able to easily hack into the Stark Industries system to lock out Tony Stark and take control of his suit.

inventor/engineer: With his knowledge and experience in mechanics, robotics and engineering, Peter was able to use his amazing intelligence and resources at Horizon Lab to create many inventions such as: 4 Spider Armor, Spidey Stealth Suit, his famous web shooter , Cryo-Cube 3000 and noise canceling headphones. At Parker Industries, he invented highly significant devices including the Anti-Electro Grid (it was successfully used against Electro), an antidote for Zodiac poison, and an easy-to-apply holographic coating.

Scientific specialty A: Peter has a PhD in biochemistry as well as specializations in various fields of applied science, chemistry, physics, biology, engineering and mechanics. He is an accomplished chemist and physicist.

Experienced Photographer: Peter is quite an experienced photographer and has worked for the Daily Dewgle and Front Line newspapers.

Master acrobat: thanks to his strength and phenomenal balance, Parker is an excellent athlete, excels in all gymnastic areas and is able to perform any acrobatic stunt, from ever performed, including others that have not been performed even by Olympic acrobats.

Hand-to-hand combat master: Peter Parker is an excellent hand-to-hand fighter. Using his unique fighting style, which is directly related to his abilities, he becomes a formidable opponent. His fighting methods are fickle, allowing him to compete with almost all types of fighters. Peter was trained in hand-to-hand combat by Captain America. He also received official combat training from Shang-Chi, on the recommendation of Madame Web, as compensation for the temporary loss of his spider-sense. Together they created a new style of martial art - the Way of the Spider. He is very experienced in combat. His exploits include defeating Fire Lord, Daken, Wolverine, Hulk, Sinister Six, X-Men, Otto Octavius, Spider-Woman, and Morlun.

Experienced businessman: Peter managed to transform Parker Industries from a small firm based in New York to a worldwide conglomerate within eight months, headquartered in London and Shanghai.

Strength Level: Peter is capable of lifting about 10 tons of net weight. Previously, he was able to lift 15 tons after being mutated by the Queen, and then 20 tons after another mutation. After both mutations were undone as a result of Mephisto's alteration of reality, his power level remains unknown. The spider is known to have the ability to lift cars and even tanks with ease. During the period severe stress or being angry, Peter lets himself go and demonstrates even more high level strength. So, for example, he was once able to hold the Daily Bugle building, land a private jet, break through Iron Man's armor, and even break through Doctor Octopus's eight tentacles.

Weaknesses of Spider-Man

Unlike many superheroes, Spider-Man has no weaknesses to which he automatically becomes vulnerable. However, in recent years certain methods have been created to make it weaker.

Spider Sense Glitch: Spider-Man's Spider-Sense can lose its effectiveness if it is blocked or temporarily weakened by specialized techniques or certain medications. When deprived of this sense, Spider-Man becomes vulnerable to surveillance and attack. Also, without Spider Sense, more concentration is required to move with the web.

ethyl chloride: Possibly as a side effect of increased strength, Spider-Man is susceptible to ethyl chloride pesticides. This chemical is often used as a weapon by the Spider Slayers.

bad luck: Because of the fight against crime, Peter Parker's ordinary life often suffered. In a number of cases, he was forced to lie to loved ones, not fulfill his obligations, leave them in difficult times, and the like. All this was done in order to preserve his secret Spider identity. Such a double life periodically led to the fact that people around him did not like Parker. Whenever Peter remarked that his "superhero" life was missing out on opportunities to improve his regular social life, financial situation, and even just get to work on time, he called it "typical Parker luck."

Spiderman gear

web launcher: Parker's brilliant mind in science allowed him to create a device for shooting cobwebs. Two identical devices that he wears on his wrists fire special "web vibes" threads when pressed.

Belt: When he first appeared in the world of superheroes, Peter created a belt on which he fastened clips with webs. Lately, he's upgraded it to hold different types of ammo, tapes, frozen capsules, new projectiles, as well as an upgraded signal that had an Ultra Violet light set for analysis.

bugs: Spider-Man uses small electronic bugs of his own design that allow him to track objects or people. Typically, the Spider will toss a sapper at an outgoing enemy and follow them on their way to the hideout. It also uses a web shot launcher to improve range and accuracy. Initially, an electronic receiver was used to follow the signals of the bug, but later he changed their signal so that he can now follow it with his senses. It can track the signal over a 100 yard radius. After temporarily losing his senses, Spider-Man used the lab's resources to create new, improved bugs with listening devices, GPS, and camouflage. Other bugs he created from a durable metal - Antarctic Vibranium, which melts on contact with other metals. Peter also created a cryogenic Spider-shaped bug to freeze Hydro-Man.
Signal: A powerful light emitted from Spider-Man's belt to alert criminals to their arrival. Peter will update it later with a UV light.

Avengers ID card: A credit card-sized gadget designed by Tony Stark to identify all Avengers. It was used by Spider-Man when the police questioned him after a fight between Mister Negative and Anti-Ven at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Since then, Peter has used the card on various occasions.

Armor MK II: Peter created the 2.0 variant of his armor to compensate for the loss of his senses, as without this ability he could be easily injured. This suit was placed in storage in Peter's office at the Horizon Lab. Most likely, it was destroyed along with the laboratory itself. A copy of the suit was later kept by Parker Industries.

Armor MK III: Created by Peter Parker in Horizon Labs, the armor required massive resources to fight the Sinister Six. As Doctor Octopus contemplated his plan for his last mission before dying, Spider-Man knew that he would have to use the armor to stop Octopus' attempts to speed up the greenhouse effect. The suit has since been restored and stored in Peter's office at Horizon Lab. After the lab was destroyed, Spider-Man took him to his lab in Parker Industries.

Black suit: After Spider-Man removed the symbiote costume, his girlfriend Black Cat made him a copy of the costume because she thought black was more "attractive" than red and blue. Although the two suits were originally used interchangeably, the black suit eventually became Spider-Man's primary suit after the red and blue one was destroyed. However, after Venom's attack on Mary Jane Watson, she forced him to give up the suit for good. After that, he only occasionally wore a black suit when his red and blue suit was unusable. He returns and wears a black suit for a short period of time after his Aunt May dies at the hands of Wilson Fisk in the hospital, due to an attempt on Peter's life. After resurrecting Kraven during the battle, Spider-Man discovered a replica of the costume that Kraven had left behind to mock him. In a black suit, in the full sense of the word, he seemed darker and gloomier.

Armor MK IV: Designed by Peter Parker using the finest resources from Parker Industries, this armor is far superior to any other. The suit is light enough that Peter can crawl up walls with incredible ease, but the suit is strong enough to deflect laser shots. The spider's eye sockets and chest markings glow, although it is unknown if this is part of the design or if they have their own function.

Web: Spider-Man uses it to move around the city. Combined with his spider powers, he can move at amazing speeds throughout Manhattan. Spider-Man could keep up with Captain Marvel at his highest speed, surprising the Kree warrior. Spider later said that he mainly enjoyed practicing by swinging on the web.

Glider: Through resources in the Horizon Lab, Spider-Man created his own version of the Goblin's glider, which he used to move around the city faster. He first used it during a fight with Equinox.

Mobile phone: thanks to opportunities at Parker Industries, Peter worked with Lian Tang to create the second version mobile phone. He first used it during a fight with the Zodiac in Shanghai.

Hydro Spider: Peter also designed a submarine-ship capable of going deep into the sea. He equipped her with a holographic coating to make her invisible.

Supposedly, Peter heard that the school dance team was throwing away unwanted costumes. He snuck into the school after dark, found one that suited him, retrieved the double-glazed mirror from Drama's dressing room, and spent an hour stenciling the spiderweb pattern onto the suit. Then he created the first Spider-Man costume.

Peter is currently about 28 years old, having been bitten by a spider 13 years ago when he was 15 years old.

Spider and Wolverine become blood brothers during their joint adventures.

In the past, Peter Parker professed Protestantism. This is partly because his Aunt May was a devout Protestant. However, he is now known to be a firm believer in atheism.

The only person killed by Spider-Man is Charlemagne. And although it was not on purpose, the guilt continued to haunt Peter for the rest of his life.

After befriending Ms. Marvel, Venom stated that she had feelings for Spider-Man. And prior to her presumed death, Silver Sable also had feelings for Spider-Man.

Peter doesn't like mayonnaise, at least in sandwiches, and prefers those with a crust.

Spider-Man was the first Marvel superhero to appear in a video game, in 1981.

According to some reports, he hates Star Wars.

Spider-Man was supposed to be a fan of The Lord of the Rings.

On several occasions, Spider-Man was mistaken for a mutant. According to one version, John Jameson sent him to the X-factor for confirmation. In another version, he followed him until the misunderstanding was corrected.

It is also known that Peter trademarked "Spider-Man" after the expansion of Parker Industries.

Peter had an account on Twitter and Facebook.

His famous line "with great power comes great responsibility" is often used as a quote from Uncle Ben, but it's actually the closing lines of the story in Amazing Fantasy #15. Since this phrase was a lesson he learned from the death of his uncle, he became associated with it. For the 2002 film, they chose the famous phrase as advice to Peter from Ben Parker.

Spider-Man was ranked third on IGN's Top 100 Comic Book Heroes in 2011 and 2012 (and for unknown years before that), as well as number one on IGN's Top 25 Marvel Super Heroes, becoming the most famous of all Marvel characters.

Empire Magazines ranked Spider-Man as the fifth-greatest comic book character of all publishers, and the second-greatest of all Marvel heroes (Wolverine ranked first).

Spider-Man was ranked #1 on CBR's Top 50 Marvel Characters in 2011 and 2015.

The Spider-Man costume is in the game "Club Penguin".

In contact with

Spider-Man is thousands of comics, nine animated series and dozens of video games. The number of undocumented appearances of the hero in movies, TV series and on various paraphernalia is incalculable. Even in the official Marvel world, Spider-Man has dozens of bit parts in comics about other characters, and Spider-Man himself has many alternative versions.

What should every superhero have? Of course, superpowers, dangerous enemies and love, which periodically have to be saved. Over the long history (the first series of The Amazing Spider-Man comics was launched in 1963), at least 60 villains managed to fight the Spider. With love, everything is no less confusing: Peter Parker was romantically linked with a dozen girls.

Only a small part of Spider-Man's enemies / screenrant.com

Spider-Man on the screen was remembered by the Russian audience primarily for the animated series that came out from 1994 to 1998. It was in it that most of us first saw the Green Goblin, Venom, Doctor Octopus or Mysterio, as well as Peter Parker's girls: Mary Jane Watson and Felicia Hardy.

The early Spider-Man films are quite difficult to watch - none of them received serious awards or public love, they were distinguished by both weak dramaturgy and low-quality special effects. The real story of Spidey on the big screen began with a 2002 film directed by Sam Raimi.

What was the Sam Raimi trilogy like?

  • : Tobey Maguire.
  • Peter Parker's girlfriend Story by: Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst)
  • : Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, New Goblin, Sandman, Venom.

The storytelling in the films of the original trilogy years later may seem too naive and peaceful, happy endings too “Hollywood”, but who cared when the whole world watched Spider-Man fly on the big screen for the first time with bated breath?

The cast of the franchise can be called stellar: Kirsten Dunst, Willem Dafoe and James Franco, who at that time had not yet completely discredited himself with roles in dubious comedies, were involved in the main roles.

Some coincidences did seem perfect: J.K. Simmons very organically got used to the role of Jay John Jameson, editor-in-chief of The Daily Bugle. Tobey Maguire did a great job as the underdog Peter Parker, but didn't seem convincing enough in moments where the main character had to show the toughness and brashness of Spider-Man, captured by the symbiote.

The main drawback of the Raimi films for Spider-Man fans is the all-too-obvious rift between Peter Parker and his superhero alter ego.

Weak traits of Peter, like strengths Spider, in the films of the first trilogy are exaggerated. The beauty of the original story is that Peter is still himself even when he's wearing tights. Raimi, on the other hand, showed the classic story of the “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” model.

All three films in the franchise have received positive feedback critics and the love of the audience. Despite significant differences from original plot comic books and excessive melodrama, Sam Raimi's trilogy is pleasant to revisit 10 years after its end.

Spiderman

  • Year: 2002.
  • IMDb: 7,3.
  • What do you remember: Spider-Man and Mary Jane kiss and Spider-Man's first screen appearance.

Movie adaptations of Spider-Man combine key moments given by the comics: the bite of a radioactive spider and the death of Uncle Ben. Sam Raimi's 2002 film was no exception, opening a trilogy that is still called the original.

In this film, Peter begins to build a relationship with Mary Jane Watson, fights against petty criminals and enters into a confrontation with the Green Goblin - Norman Osborn, who is also the father of Parker's best friend. The final battle between the Goblin and Spider-Man takes place on the bridge, where Peter is faced with a choice: save his beloved or a cable car full of kids. Spoilers: everyone survives except Norman Osborn, Peter Parker and Mary Jane are happily in a relationship, Peter's friend Harry Osborn vows to take revenge on Spider-Man for his dead father.

Spiderman 2

  • Year: 2004.
  • IMDb: 7,3.
  • What do you remember: a scene with a train stopping, tending to a cliff, and Spider-Man as a pizza delivery man.

The second film of the original trilogy begins with a description of Peter Parker's problems: he is fired from his job, Mary Jane left him and is about to marry a respected astronaut, and another unsuccessful experiment led to the birth of a new villain. This time it's Doctor Octopus, the monster that took over the body of the scientist Otto Octavius.

The betrayal of his best friend aggravates the picture: Harry Osborn colludes with a scientist who has gone crazy, promising to provide him with tritium for experiments in exchange for Spider-Man. To facilitate the search for his father's killer, Osborn gives Octavius a tip: Peter Parker will help find Spidey. Octopus kidnaps Mary Jane in front of Peter, saying that he will be waiting for Spider-Man.

Having managed to save the passengers of the train striving for a cliff, the Spider loses consciousness, which Doctor Octopus takes advantage of. He brings the hero's body to Harry Osborn and takes the tritium. Harry learns that his best friend is hiding under the mask of the object of revenge, and releases him for the final battle in the laboratory of Dr. Octavius. Failing to win the fight, Spider-Man tries to appeal to morality and the remnants of sanity in the once brilliant scientist. Attempts are bearing fruit: Doctor Octopus drowns his installation and successfully self-destructs.

The film ends with a start to the final part of the trilogy: Harry Osborn finds his father's secret laboratory in the house. It becomes clear - most likely, he will be blown away again and his desire to take revenge on the Spider will flare up with renewed vigor in the next film. And Mary Jane, of course, runs away from the wedding and returns to Parker.

Spider-Man 3: Reflected Enemy

  • Year: 2007.
  • IMDb: 6,2.
  • What do you remember: Peter Parker's hooligan bangs and the first two-on-two battle in the trilogy.

The beginning of the final part of the trilogy is going well for the hero Tobey Maguire: the people of New York praise Spider-Man, and Peter Parker is preparing to propose to Mary Jane. The level of well-being is proportional to the problems that the hero will face during the film: not only did Harry Osborn master his father's equipment and become a full-fledged enemy of the Spider, but the killer of Uncle Ben escaped from prison, turning into a new supervillain - Sandman along the way.

There is a feeling that 90% of Peter Parker's problems are concentrated in this film. His costume is captured by black slime of alien origin, under its control the Spider becomes stronger and much more aggressive. Misbehavior imposed by the symbiote, an accidental kiss with Gwen Stacy, and Harry rushing in time led to Peter's separation from Mary Jane. Realizing the catastrophic consequences of actions committed in the power of a symbiote, Peter decides to get rid of the suit. The symbiote leaves the Spider, but takes possession of Eddie Brock, a photographer who lost his job because of Peter Parker.

After becoming Venom, Eddie joins forces with Sandman and attacks Spider-Man. The spider clearly loses the fight, but Harry comes to the rescue, having learned that Peter did not actually kill his father. As a result of his injuries, Harry dies. The film ends with a happy ending with a note of sadness: Peter and Mary Jane are back together, but their friend is no longer with them.

What do you remember about Mark Webb's dilogy?

  • Performer as Peter Parker Story by: Andrew Garfield.
  • Peter Parker's girlfriend Story by: Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone)
  • : Lizard, Electro, Rhino, Green Goblin, Gustav Firs.

The Mark Webb dilogy was planned as a series of four films, but after the release of two parts, Sony and Marvel decided to restart the franchise, removing the director and the previous cast.

Andrew Garfield did a great job as the new Peter Parker, seamlessly fitting into the character's superhero alter ego. Many compared Webb's dilogy with the previous franchise, but there were quite a few differences: Gwen Stacy, played by Emma Stone, became Parker's passion, and the Spider regained a sense of humor (which fans of the 1994 animated series liked).

Many were wary of Webb's dilogy. This happens when it comes to something dearly loved and that the film and cast team can easily spoil if they themselves are not saturated with such love. Fortunately, the people who made The Amazing Spider-Man really loved their job and respected the canons set by the comics. In the film adaptation of Spider-Man, the noir element returned, Peter began to produce webs from cartridges, and Gwen Stacy tragically died at the end of the second part.

The new Spiderman

  • Year: 2012.
  • IMDb: 7,0.
  • What do you remember: Spider's witticisms against enemies and Andrew Garfield's basketball tricks.

The first film in the franchise begins with a traditional premise: the bite of a spider and the death of Uncle Ben. In addition, we learn about Peter Parker's crush on Gwen Stacy and get acquainted with the next element of the canonical scenario: little Peter's farewell to his parents.

Spider's enemy this time is the Lizard - the result of an unsuccessful experiment by Dr. Curt Connors to grow a lost arm. There is also a focus on Peter's confrontation with George Stacy, a police captain and Gwen's father.

The action of the film is less naive and more realistic than in Sam Raimi's epic.

Parker really has to think: he designs and upgrades Spider-Man's suit, creates launchers for throwing webs.

The enemy does not find him himself: Peter has to figure out his location.

Screen versions of Mark Webb do not end with classic happy endings: the Lizard is defeated, but George Stacy dies, and Peter breaks up with Gwen (although at the end of the film it becomes clear that they will still be together). Marvel's traditional easter egg post-credits scene. It shows a conversation between Curt Connors and Gustav Fiers: A gentleman asks a scientist if he told Parker the truth about his father.

The new Spiderman. High voltage

  • Year: 2014.
  • IMDb: 6,7.
  • What do you remember: Spider-Man, suffering from a cold, and the tragic death of Gwen Stacy.

Peter's first enemy was Aleksey Sitsevich, who was trying to steal an OsCorp van loaded with plutonium. Attentive fans of Spider-Man immediately recognized him as a criminal who would later turn into another monster - Reno.

The main rival of the Spider in the second part of the dilogy was OsCorp Electro - electrician Max Dillon, who fell into a container with genetically modified electric eels.

One of the key characters of the franchise appears - Harry Osborn. This time he doesn't even try to show himself. goodie: Having become the head of OsCorp after the death of his father, he is rude to employees and has an unhealthy interest in the company's dubious developments. Upon learning that he is ill, he asks Peter Parker to get him the blood of Spider-Man.

Peter's refusal leads to the fact that Osborn finally flies off the coils: removed from the management of OsCorp, he enters into a coalition with Electro and gains access to the company's secret developments. Harry injects himself with a spider venom serum, not knowing that for most people it is fatal (with the exception of Richard Parker's blood relatives), finds the Green Goblin's armor and glider.

Gwen helps the Spider win the final fight with Electro, but then the Green Goblin appears, harboring hatred for Peter. Spider-Man wins the battle but fails to save Gwen in time.

What to expect from the new Spider-Man: Homecoming movie?

The premiere of the new adaptation of Spider-Man will take place on July 6. The future is uncertain, but something about the upcoming film is already known.

The role of Peter Parker went to British actor Tom Holland. At the time of filming, Tom was only 20 years old: it is noticeable that the Spiders are getting younger with each franchise.

Holland has already played Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War. It is noteworthy that the experience of a gymnast and a hip-hop dancer helped the actor perform many of the most difficult stunts on his own, as reported by KinoPoisk journalists.

Spider-Man's relationship with the heroes of the Marvel Universe will become closer. This is evidenced by the frequent references to "The Avengers" in the trailers of the film and the presence of Robert Downey Jr. in it. Obviously, the Spider-Man reboot is due to Marvel's desire to pool its superhero capital, and what results this will bring, we only have to find out.

The main antagonist of "Homecoming" will be the Vulture. Michael Keaton will play the role of Adrian Toomes, the original creator of the flying villain costume. Also, judging by the cast of the film, Bokeem Woodbine's Shocker may appear in the new Spider-Man.

Will shoot "Homecoming" young American director Jon Watts. Subsequent films can hardly be classified as a "Watts franchise": other directors have been appointed for future films. It is also unknown whether there will be a separate epic dedicated to Spider-Man - after all, Marvel is trying very hard to integrate Spider into theirs, not trying to give him the first roles.

The premiere of the new "Avengers", where Spider is expected to appear in an episodic role, is scheduled for 2018. In the same year, the next solo film dedicated to Spider-Man, Venom, is scheduled to be released. This time, the villain captured by the symbiote will be played by Tom Hardy, and Ruben Fleischer, known for his work on the film "Welcome to Zombieland", has already been appointed director. The expected rating of "Venom" is R, which hints that we will be shown an adult and rather gloomy film adaptation of "Spider-Man".

Also in the fall of 2018, the release of the "female" spin-off of "Spider-Man" under the working title Silver & Black is scheduled. "Silver" and "Black" refers to two Marvel heroes: Silver Sable and Black Cat.
