I love the circus very much. First of all, for me, these are childhood memories. Leningrad, the famous Cinizelli circus on the Fontanka embankment, the legendary Kornilov attraction with elephants, the clowns that I was afraid of, the acrobats under the circus dome and the indescribable smell of sawdust! And how I loved the second section, when fences were erected around the arena, uniformed men with water cannons stood in a circle and tigers ran out along a narrow corridor! They were so obedient beautiful people in costumes embroidered with sequins, so deftly jumped through a burning ring that my cherished childhood dream was to become a famous animal trainer!
Since then, the circus has been a holiday for me.
But time goes on. Everything around us is changing, so the circus has become different. New unique performances have appeared, advanced technologies have come here too, but invariably only one thing - the circus is a Miracle!
On Saturday evening we arrived at Kuntsevskaya to see the performance " The little Prince at the Circus of Miracles.

Two adults, uncle and aunt, we towered over the crowd of children and felt like Gulliver in the country of the Lilliputians. At some point, we became embarrassed (((There were a lot of children around! I hissed in my husband’s ear with displeasure: “We should have taken at least one child to cover up”)) But our children run around the stadiums and dance on weekends and they don’t care about the circus, but in vain!
We didn't last long. As soon as the lights went out in the hall and the artists appeared, we stopped complexing and completely surrendered to the miracles happening right in front of us, on the stage!

What we saw on the stage does not lend itself to any clear formulation. it theatrical performance, where the main characters utter monologues and at the same time it is a musical, where everyone sings and dances, but it is also circus show with all its genres and canons! But that's not all! Have you ever seen how to paint with sand? This is a real miracle!
We could watch how sand paintings right on the big screens installed on the stage.

The performance itself is based on the great and immortal novel by the French pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupery "The Little Prince". Who hasn't read it? For a long time already this work was taken away into quotations, we remember many passages by heart. This is a magnificent fairy tale, which we need today like air. "Only one heart is vigilant!" "We are forever responsible for those we have tamed!"
It teaches us kindness, responsibility and understanding. The main characters are, of course, the Little Prince and Rose. And also Antoine de Saint-Exupery himself. We happily learned excerpts from our favorite novel, listened to the singing actors and our hearts became wiser. Little spectators enthusiastically reacted to the wonderful Fox, who was looking for friends. As a result, all the kids in the hall became friends with him!

The fox is absolutely adorable! This is a real find for such a show! Absolutely synthetic actor! He is a wonderful acrobat, clown, presenter who knows the approach to children! Bravo, artist!

Little spectators were involved in everything that was happening on the stage. How can a child sit quietly for an hour? And here it is not necessary! So feel free to take your fidget to the show! They will play with him, joke, play ball and entertain! He will not be bored for a single minute!

See how fun the show is for both kids and adults!

And of course circus numbers! I don't even know what to say here, I was so impressed! Firstly, this is an acrobat girl on three shells at once. It's just a miracle! Well, we were at the performance of the circus of miracles!

Talented little girl! I heard a lot of disputes that a girl and a pole are incompatible concepts. It's not true, it's very beautiful and very difficult! Come and see!

The real bomb of the performance is the acrobats! It's not just circus acrobatic stunts, but some amazing symbiosis of break dance, capoeira, choreography and the most complex elements! I watched it with bated breath! Bravo!!! You must remember these incredible artists!

But the acrobat on a pole in the image of a lamplighter charmed everyone in the auditorium! An unusually complex, artistic and beautiful number!

This is truly world class! The room is so good and original that it is impossible to describe in words! Photos also do not convey the drive that we felt looking at this miracle!

And, of course, clowns and trained animals! This is where we fell into childhood! If it wasn't for our important mission like writing this story, we'd definitely drop the camera and clap our hands and shout "Bravo" incessantly! But, conscience did not allow us to do this, so the photo is for you)))

What a funny king! Have you seen the thimbler king? We yes!

But this is not just a cunning king, but a real tamer of ferrets! These little rodents not only unroll carpets, run up stairs and spin wheels, but also sing! Have you heard the ferret jazz band? Not? And we heard!

Last weekend, the universe in the person of my friend gave me and my family a trip to a cultural event - the Little Prince show at the Aquamarine Theater, aka the Circus of Miracles.

It’s good to go not far, the information on the site says that the show is 0+, a ticket for up to 3 years is not needed - everything worked out, we all went together)

Where does it take place

Chirk of Miracles, aka the Aquamarine Theater, aka the Ivanhoe company - it's all about the organizers. You can search for anything. There are several sites, the Little Prince is now, in the summer of 2018, going to Kuntsevo, in former cinema Kuntsevo. The hall is located 5 minutes walk from the Kuntsevskaya metro station.

Duration

2.5 hours including 30 minutes break. I’ll say right away - for marking 0+ it’s great, of course, it was interesting for the kids, but in the end it’s already a bit difficult - everyone is tired. In addition, we went to the performance, which began according to the plan at 17.30, but in fact a little later, and ended at about 20.40. It's a bit late for kids, so if you're traveling with very young children, you should keep that in mind.

About the theater

Wow, mixed feelings. On the one hand, it’s kind of nice - photo zones, they sell ice cream, popcorn and cotton wool, you can take pictures with animals, there was even an animator before the start, but we came almost quite back to back, and when we entered, it was no longer in the lobby.

And at the same time, the feeling of that Soviet past is subtly in the air. At the Kuntsevo cinema, I Soviet time I wasn’t, I just rode down the slides near it, but it seems that the inside has changed a little ...

At the same time - the hall is not very large, well, as in all not very large cinemas, whoever was, he remembers) The chairs are good, new, comfortable. There are pillows that can be placed under the kids - a very convenient option, the daughter sat comfortably throughout the performance. Music, lights - everything works well, the equipment seems to be all new too.

About the performance

The photos turned out not just bad, but disgusting - blurry and dark. Therefore, I will attach just a couple, I will write the rest.

We watched from the very center of the hall, 12th row, and the seats in the middle.

The performance began promisingly for me - a plane left the stage, the pilot of which, apparently Antoine himself, sang the Time Machine song about where the southern edge of the Earth is located.

To my shame, I didn’t read the book, because I knew nothing about the plot - only phrases from the Little Prince about an elephant that was swallowed by a boa constrictor, we are responsible for those we tamed, and about getting up - clean your planet.

In general, this performance is a production based on, and not a direct, exact transfer of the work. Well, of course, you still need to include songs and tricks here. So what's in my head now is very overall picture, I will read (probably even right away with my daughter), so that the picture is complete, since anyway, I recently met the book in the fix price and bought it right away)

I won’t retell the whole plot, I’ll go through the moments that I liked, and not so much - from them it will be clear what kind of show.

So what I LIKE

Really 0+, despite the literary component - the children, of course, do not really perceive it, but the show as a whole is watched with their mouths open

Interactive - during the performance, the actors actively invite the audience to participate, ask questions, offer activities, even several times the audience was invited to the stage. Once launched into the hall of the planet, turning it into space))

Many and quite varied numbers - and acrobats (of which the majority), and a juggler, and trainers with animals (ferrets, dogs, roosters, pigeons, a donkey, a monkey and even a bear). Who reacted more strongly to animals - children, or me, so that they looked at them - I don’t even know. On the one hand, of course, I feel sorry for the animals in the circus, on the other hand, I remember Du Soleil, where there are no animals - and it is not at all small, then the children would not watch. On the other hand, I still hope that trainers are people who are not indifferent to their pets.

Separate delight - sand painting. During the show, the girl drew what was on stage. Well, how it was ... Not exactly exactly, but if there was a Fox - a picture with a Fox

And towards the end, when, in fact, we are in charge, the Fox and the Prince are together

At the end, the girl also draws with light, very beautifully. I liked it, I thought about a device for such drawing for the home

They sing live, generally not bad, although there are flaws in the performance.

Interesting light accompaniment - color, light, rays, planes. Caught with children)

A good fairy tale, after which you can talk with the children, and about responsibility, and about friendship, and much more about anything. Ours are very tired, we will talk after we read)

What I didn't like

In several rooms, the light accompaniment is very bright and aggressive, the colors change very quickly and the rays hit brightly, it was not very pleasant even for me, an adult, the children are also not very comfortable

The music used in the musical is all from somewhere. Still, if a musical with music specially written for it, it is perceived as something whole, but here - “A Whole New World” and the waltz from the cartoon Anastasia - this is what I accurately identified, well, the Time Machine at the beginning. All this creates a feeling of a skit

Some numbers also support this feeling, of course, the actors are great, both adults and children, and yet this is clearly not a musical theater, and not Nikulin's circus, in terms of a simpler level

Some numbers are long, and the children were not very interested - the daughter looked at the juggler dejectedly and said "I want him to leave as soon as possible ..."

I did not like one number - the King played with the children ... in thimbles O_O Of course, not directly in thimbles, but in nesting dolls, but the meaning is the same. In general, it surprised me. Although I understand that this is a visual trick, which can be seen from afar, and yet - thimbles? ..

In general, I am very satisfied with the performance. Taking into account the fact that the cost of tickets is from 450 rubles, you can also buy them on the theater website at a discount, there are promotions and points are accumulated for activities, which can also be used to pay for tickets - I think that we will go to some other performance, the benefit of them in the repertoire is not one.
