Do you love the circus, but there are not so many new performances? There is a solution: organize your own circus!

The circus begins with an invitation. Cut out the rectangles and stick them on thick paper. Write the name of your circus, the date and time of the performance.

Now you need to create a circus atmosphere! A 13-meter arena is unlikely to fit in a room, so we will limit ourselves to a simpler decor.

Hang balloons and red and white paper garlands around the room. Arrange the chairs in a circle, leave a place for the arena in the center. Don't forget to organize a buffet - during the intermission, serve lemonade to guests in paper cups decorated with red and white paper.
Prepare clown noses for all guests and hand them over in exchange for a ticket. The circus performers themselves (you and your family) should dress up in circus fashion. Wigs, magician-like cloaks, hats, and oversized wrapping paper ties will do.

The show starts!
Of course, there will be no elephants and acrobats in your circus. But the audience themselves will become artists!

Agility and no fraud
Spectators take turns throwing the ball into a small bucket. Announces the number and the first throws the ball, of course, the owner of the circus. The smartest one wins a prize.

The secret will be revealed
Draw small circles on whatman paper and make cruciform cuts in them (so that you can stick your hand in, but you can't see anything). Ask one of the adults to hold the drawing paper in the air, and the other to stand behind the drawing paper. Each spectator sticks his hand into the circle and receives some object on the other side: candy, ice, a piece of adhesive tape, a grain ... We tickle the nerves of the audience!

ball throwing
Arrange plush or plastic toys in a row, and give table tennis balls to guests. Throw balls in turn and keep score: for each toy knocked down, the player gets a point. The winner solemnly hand over kpriz.

spherical
Give the guests long balloons. While they are inflating them, distribute the tasks: let someone make a dog, someone make a cat, and someone even make an elephant. For the most similar (and not broken!) figurine, the guest receives a prize.

To please the younger members of the family team, "raise" their mood can family circus.. To show it at home, no bulky decoration is required.

You can make an “arena” with the children in one of the rooms, decorating it, or in the country, on the veranda, in the clearing. What performances to include in the circus program? In the circus, “trained” horses, jumping squirrels, hares-musicians, bears-strongmen, a learned dog, “gymnasts” can perform ...

For the performance, you should select such numbers that your children, adult family members could perform without much difficulty, with a little preliminary preparation. The home circus program usually includes simple, but bright, accessible material - if possible, performance by family "artists", ease of preparation, ease, accessibility for children to perceive.

The main "highlight" of the circus is the Clown. We will not deprive our home circus of it, we will assign the leading role to the clown. He, the cheerful, resourceful Petrushka, usually "leads" the program of the circus performance. However, two clowns can lead it at once - Bim and Bom, Pat and Patashopok - two debaters, two comedians with different characters.

Much depends on the nature of the interaction between the clowns themselves, the clown and other "circus artists", their invention, resourcefulness - the tone of the performance, the emotional attitude towards children, their smiles, laughter ... This is where the field for the manifestation of communicative and artistic abilities, humor of adult family members (their close relatives)!

Clown masters often use parody with great success. The success of a clown is created by the ability not to overdo it, not to be rude, the ability to master numerous types of circus art. Often the laughter of the audience is caused by pantomime, which contains material for a mimic game, where the comedian could be surprised, angry, cry, reflect, despair, that is, show himself in action.

To cause laughter, to be funny, important and details- in appearance, facial expression, gait, voice intonation. We will also use some of the secrets of clowning.

The magician also enjoys success in the children's circus. Delight, laughter, joy often cause unexpected actions that he performs (turning water in a bottle from transparent to white, red, blue; an empty box filled with funny toys, colorful ribbons, etc.).

Especially emotionally children perceive tricks presented in a humorous "spirit". I remember how, at one of these performances, the “magician” “cured” the ill Petrusha by pulling the “disease” out of his ear - a serpentine ribbon. Well, the guys were happy! Pre-prepared simple physical and chemical "tricks" or tricks with cards can also be shown by older children (schoolchildren).

Including the performances of this “circus artist” in the performance program, we will take into account the peculiarities of children's perception. If your children are still very young, and they will see the magician for the first time, it is advisable to move somewhat away from the "standard" image of the fakir. Magical, speaking in a very mysterious, "cold" voice of a magician, kids can get scared. It will be better if Parsley shows tricks for the smallest ones.

Children already know him as the protagonist of interesting and cheerful puppet shows, as a frequent and cheerful guest at holidays (in kindergarten, for example). They are already familiar with his younger brother - a toy Petrushka. He, as a rule, is their favorite, therefore children perceive the comedy in the behavior of a clown more easily, they are already tuned in, as it were, to a “fun wave” in communicating with him.

Petrushka not only jokes, dances, plays with children, asks them riddles ... He is able to "revive" the performances of other "circus artists".

Here is the self-confident, cheerful Petrushka trying to repeat the number of clever jugglers - “What's this! Trivia! I can do even better,” he boastfully declares. But the balls fall on his head, the hoop runs away from him ... The many-pound weights of the Bear-Strongman, when the clown tries to lift them, seem to have grown to the "arena". That's it, Petrusha!

The family circus leaves its bright mark in the soul of a child. Children then often include it in their games, they try to come up with their own numbers, the older ones - to unravel the secrets of tricks (“Why did one fisherman (clown) catch a fish, and another didn’t?”, “How did the matryoshkas end up in a box? " and etc.).

The circus is becoming one of the favorite topics of drawing, modeling, appliqué... Children play, draw, discover “secrets” and look forward to the cheerful sounds of bells: “Tili-tili-bom! Petrushka has arrived!

Creating an atmosphere of majority, lightness, fun and at the same time kindness, can promote and play with children. They can be used as "keys" to unity and at the same time - as a means of forming a bright view of the surrounding people, the world.

E. Panko, E. Chesnokova, T. Nedvetskaya

Are you going to arrange a children's party or a child's birthday in nature, but can't come up with a scenario? A holiday for children can be, for example, on the theme of the circus - any accuracy contests, do-it-yourself stilts, as well as a soap bubble show will do.

We invite you to the circus booth! We will not have a modern circus, but a big top. Such as before, when the artists traveled in wagons to different cities and set up their tents in the central squares. They were all one team and helped each other. A real circus is not only fun, but also the ability to make props, and training to hone your skills, and taking care of the audience.

The games and competitions given here are united by the theme of the circus. But they are all universal - you can dream up and apply them to any children's holiday. The main thing is that your child likes the theme of the holiday and is accepted with enthusiasm.

A real juggler needs to be able to create his own props. Do not forget that our circus is traveling and we do everything ourselves.

Ordinary balls are too light and completely unsuitable for real artists. Therefore, we will make not only balls that you can throw several at once and learn to juggle, but also expanders for training the muscles of the hand.

We will need:

  • air balloons
  • small packages
  • filler (grain, legumes, corn, flour, sugar, salt, earth, sand, sawdust)
  • cups, cans, etc.

  1. To make one balloon, take two balloons and cut off the tails from them.
  2. Pour enough filler into a plastic bag so that your future ball fits well in your hand. Release excess air and tie up the bag.
  3. Now squeeze the bag, giving it a round shape. Push this bag into one of the balls, and put the other ball on the opposite side. Finally give it a round shape - and the ball is ready. You can start the competition.

The ball is easy to make from an old sock. Take a sock, cut off the part that once warmed your fingers. Fill the resulting bag with buckwheat or rice and sew, hiding the seams inside and giving your future ball the shape of a ball. You can play football at home with such a ball, and it is very pleasant to the touch.

Accurate shooter. Take a few glasses or empty cans. Arrange them in a row or build a pyramid out of them. Children can throw the balls in turn, trying to knock down the cans.

We pump muscles. When the games are over, you can start training. To do this, let the child take the ball and crumple it in his palms. If you do this long and often, the hands will become strong.

Juggling. Now you can learn to juggle. Let the kid take two balls and throw them into the air one after the other, catching and throwing them from one hand to the other. When it turns out perfectly, you can add a third ball, and then a fourth. It all depends on the perseverance of the young circus performer.

Let's move on to dangerous tricks. We will learn in the same way as trapeze artists and tightrope walkers do.

They walk high above our heads on thin ropes, and even make jumps and all kinds of pirouettes, making the audience freeze with delight. All these exercises would not be possible if it were not for the ability of a person to maintain balance. This is what we have to learn.

We will need:

  • tin cans (preferably strong square ones)
  • 2 ropes
  • rubber bands
  • awl or can opener
  • colored paper
  • spray paint
  1. To make the simplest stilts, you will need our favorite circus props - tin cans. Pre-paste them with colored paper or paint with spray paint.
  2. In each jar, stepping back a little from the edge, punch two holes on opposite sides. Pass the rope through them so that both ends go inside the jar. Tie the rope and pull tight. The node will be inside.
  3. We got real stilts. Walking on them is difficult and dangerous (try it yourself!), At first, children will need insurance.

For younger children, you can take low cans, for example, from canned fish, and instead of ropes, attach elastic bands around the circumference of the baby's foot. Get funny slippers-stilts.

Any circus performance ends with a bright final show. Soap bubble show - what could be more memorable! Moreover, we ourselves will learn how to make both a solution for soap bubbles and sticks. And even try to release giant soap bubbles. Everyone will be surprised when they see this transparent miracle shimmering with all the colors of the rainbow!

For solution:

  • 1 liter of distilled water (you can take boiled)
  • glycerol
  • 25 g gelatin
  • 250 ml dishwashing detergent, shampoo or liquid soap
  • 100 g sugar

For curly sticks:

  • wooden sticks (sharp ends are best cut off)
  • chenille wire

For big sticks:

  • long sticks
  • rope (better twine or woolen)
  • bead or nut
  • scotch

The solution must be made in advance to infuse - at least the night before the performance. It keeps for quite a long time.

  1. Set the gelatin to swell with a little water. Then heat the gelatin solution (do not bring to a boil!), Put the sugar and stir. Cool, add glycerin to the warm gelatin solution (at least a little - you can’t do without it at all) and detergent. Stir - and let it infuse.

  1. Now let's move on to the most interesting - making sticks for bubbles. To make one stick, take two pieces of chenille wire and twist them together to secure. From the resulting blank, you can create any shapes, from simple geometric to complex - abstract, in the form of animals or men.

Children will do an excellent job with this task themselves, and at the same time they will choose the shapes for their bubbles. Then attach the wire figure to the stick, drip a little glue at the joints to keep it better.

Using sticks is very convenient to blow bubbles: just dip them into the solution and swing them in different directions. Everything will work out even for kids who can’t cope with purchased sets for soap bubbles.

  1. And we definitely need to learn how to blow huge bubbles. Take two long sticks. Cut off the sharp ends. Make a ring out of the rope by tying the ends and threading a bead or other load into the knot. Tape the rope ring to the sticks so that the weight is in the middle of the lower, longer part of the rope ring.

Now dip the rope into the bowl of solution, holding both sticks together. Pulling out, slowly spread the sticks, moving the ring to the side and forming a huge bubble.

Home circus - sounds great and unusual. This is the perfect option for a children's birthday scenario. About how to organize a holiday and arrange a home circus or a holiday in the circus itself, in this article.

It's no secret that a birthday in childhood is an expected and magical holiday. And, of course, the role of parents is very important here. It is necessary to organize a holiday, think through everything to the smallest detail. It is also necessary not to forget that it is necessary to arrange a children's holiday, and, as you know, it has its own specifics. In order for the celebration to become truly memorable, you can choose the circus as its main theme. After all, which of the children does not like the circus, especially the home circus.

To do this is not as difficult as it seems at first glance. First you need to calculate the number of people who will attend the holiday. A costume is required for each guest if not just a performance is planned, but the participation of all those present. It is better for the organizers to take care of this in advance, since not everyone can responsibly treat requests to come in costumes.

Costumes can be quite simple. For example, holiday hats for everyone or clown noses. These attributes can be returned as input. A fakir costume, consisting of a headdress and a cape, is ideal for dad. Mom can dress up in a tightrope walker costume. Grandma and Grandpa can make their own clown costumes. But most importantly, come up with an original costume for the birthday man. It should compare favorably with all the others.

There are several options for how to make a home circus - by yourself or order a service from a company that specializes in holding children's parties. In this case, the company will take care of the script, costumes and other things. Parents can only be asked to buy the necessary things. If it is decided to arrange a home circus, then everyone needs to come up with funny pseudonyms and interesting numbers.

Dressed in a fakir costume, dad can show simple tricks with the disappearance of a coin or come up with some experiments that will not only be interesting, but also useful to children. If there is a pet in the house, you can rehearse simple tricks with him. Everyone can take part in the performance - you can play a funny scene based on some anecdote. Or maybe one of the guests is engaged in rhythmic gymnastics, then a number with a hoop or ribbon will be very useful.

But the circus can be done not only at home. You can arrange a child's birthday at the circus. This event will definitely be remembered for a lifetime. In order to celebrate a children's birthday in the circus, it is necessary to contact and coordinate all issues with the administration of the circus in advance.

Of course, making sure that the child is congratulated right during the performance is quite problematic and, most likely, the administration will not give its consent to this. But it is quite possible to organize a trip to the backstage after the performance. Also, his favorite characters can give the birthday man a gift. Only its transfer into the hands of artists should be taken care of in advance in order to avoid awkward and sometimes ridiculous situations.

Undoubtedly, the child will be interested to see how the circus lives behind the scenes. You can organize a short tour, and after that you can return and arrange a performance at home.

In the end, you can come up with any scenario - a birthday, a circus on which the main theme or a zoo, or an amusement park, or a masquerade ball - will be remembered by the child in any case. The main thing is to do everything with love. After all, a birthday only happens once a year.

Probably every boy or girl (except Princess Nesmeyana, whom you can’t please with anything!) Likes the circus. Dexterous acrobats, hilarious clowns and mysterious conjurers will not leave anyone indifferent!

The word "circus" is of Latin origin and literally translates as "circle". But a circus in ancient Rome was a building similar to a hippodrome. There were horse races and chariot races. The largest circus was the Circus Maximus in Rome. At the time of Julius Caesar, it could accommodate up to five hundred thousand spectators, and twelve chariots could compete on it at the same time.
The modern circus appeared in France only at the end of the eighteenth century. A father and son named Astley built a round building near Paris, which they called the circus.

Child's world

There they gave performances, which consisted of acrobatic numbers and exercises with horses.
And at the end of the nineteenth century, the first performances with trained animals appeared. By this time, permanent circuses appeared in most major cities in Europe and Russia. Do you know how many meters the diameter of the circus arena is? The diameter of any circus arena in any circus - no matter if it is for a thousand spectators or for a hundred - is the same and is thirteen meters (or forty-two feet).

home circus

Do you want to show the real circus at home? You do not have to become an acrobat or train animals, just learn a few interesting tricks and surprise your parents, friends, classmates with them. We will now tell about one of these tricks.
Endless thread - circus performance
You “accidentally” notice a white thread clinging to your jacket. Of course, you immediately try to take it off - but no such luck! The thread goes on and on. Finally, when you have already pulled out a few meters, the thread ends. What is the secret of this circus trick?
And the trick is very simple. To carry it out, you will need a spool of white thread, a needle and a pencil. First, rewind the threads from the spool to the pencil. This is necessary so that later no one has any suspicions. Then, with the help of a needle (just be careful not to prick yourself!) Pass the end of the thread through the fabric of the jacket, and hide the pencil in the side pocket. Now, when you pull the thread, it will begin to unwind from the pencil. And if someone demands from you to show that there is no coil hidden anywhere, then you will innocently show the audience an ordinary pencil.
Here's a circus you can arrange at home. In addition, there are many other tricks that we will show you, and you will learn them.

PREPARATION FOR THE CHILDREN'S HOLIDAY ON THE THEME OF THE CIRCUS

INVITATION TO CHILDREN'S HOLIDAY

We considered two options for invitation cards: in the form of a ticket for a circus performance, and in the form of a circus tent.

I personally liked the second option better. Firstly, because such a postcard looked very original and mysterious (I really wanted to look in, but what is there, inside?). And secondly, because it is quite easy to make such an invitation with your own hands. For one postcard you need: 2 sheets of white cardboard (10 by 10 cm), red and yellow artistic gouache, some nail polish (with sparkles), scissors, PVA glue.

Step 1. On a piece of cardboard we print the text of the invitation using a color printer:

“Dear ______ (guest name)! We invite you to become a member of the big circus performance! Hurry! As long as you have the opportunity to choose the role for yourself! Who will you be? Acrobat? Tamer? Clown? The circus tent is located at: ____ (your address), the selection of participants for the performance will begin on ___ (date, time). Don't miss your chance! The director of the circus ______ (name of the birthday boy) _____ he will turn (_ age __) on the day of the performance. A lot depends on his choice!”

The text should be placed in the center, indented at the top, left and right by 4 cm.

Step 2 On another sheet, we make a drawing of a tent so that the “entrance” (the line of the T-shaped cut) is located exactly in the middle. For the drawing, we use red and yellow paint.

Scenario of the holiday circus circus

When the yellow lapel dries, apply glitter varnish with a thin brush.

Step 3 We cut the "tent" and glue the two parts of the invitation card.

DECORATION OF THE PLAYGROUND, DECORATIONS FOR THE CIRCUS HOLIDAY

As you know, the road to the circus begins with a ticket office. We had one too!

We made it from a large cardboard box under the refrigerator. They cut out a window, painted the inscription “Cashier” with paints. Here our little guests changed the invitation for a ticket to the circus. If only you could see with what important faces the guys approached the ticket office for a ticket! And yet, at the gates of the circus they were met by a huge "air clown" - as a symbol of the future holiday.

Second moment - circus tent

If the weather allows (your holiday falls on the warm season), you can build the main circus arena in the yard. To do this, you will need to set up a garden tent (cone shape) and decorate it with bright ribbons, balloons, garlands of flags.

Dome of the circus

A very interesting moment of decor (can be used both to decorate a tent in the yard and a playroom in the house) is the design of the circus dome.

To make such beauty, you need only a few meters of multi-colored chiffon and a bunch of balloons. In addition, aerial gymnasts' "trapeziums" can be attached to the dome. For this you will need: a paper towel holder and several meters of clothesline. And sit soft toys on the “trapezium” (for sure, in every house there are a dozen of such “fluffy gifts”).

During the "intermission" play with your guests in the shop

Install several outlets (lemonade, popcorn, cotton candy, chips). Let some children “sell”, while others “buy”. For this purpose, it is worth stocking up with paper printed “money”.

To maintain the fabulous atmosphere of the circus in your house (yard) will help and posters(pictures) depicting the main participants of the performance. If you decorate the walls of a tent (or room) with them, you can create an excellent “presence effect” at a circus performance.

And you can also place posters around the house (yard) on coasters with plots of a circus performance, while cutting out the faces of the main characters (so that your little guests can stick their faces in there and take a picture).

COSTUMES AND PROPS FOR A CIRCUS FESTIVAL

It will be very good if you indicate the dress code in the invitation to the circus party: “come in the costume of your favorite animal, clown, etc.”. But if such an approach to the holiday is impossible for some reason (the parents of your little guests are too busy to take care of the costume, etc.), prepare the elementary details yourself circus costumes.

Clown noses and colorful ties

Foam red spouts can be bought at a sale, or made at home (it took me exactly 15 minutes to make a spout, a piece of red foam rubber 7 by 7 cm, a couple of drops of rubber glue and a piece of fishing gum). And ties can be cut from inexpensive bright fabric (secured with fishing elastic) or a piece of wrapping paper for gifts.

strongman barbell

The bar can be made completely from wood (by painting the pancakes black), or you can put two black balloons on a wooden stick (it will also turn out very believable).

Wigs and masks

You can rent clown wigs for the participants of the holiday, and you can make animal masks (tiger, zebra, lion, monkey) for the children yourself.

Costumes for adults

It is desirable if both mom and dad (and all other volunteer assistants) will be dressed in the "circus fashion". Also purchase other themed props for contests (photo 4).

Crafts on the theme "Circus"

Even if you and your child live in a metropolis where there is a circus, going to performances every day is almost impossible, but getting a home toy arena with funny artists is easy! Colored paper, scissors, felt-tip pens, tape or glue - that's all you need to make DIY circus-themed crafts.

Before you make a paper circus with your own hands, ask the kid who he would like to see in the mini-arena. Most likely, it will be a funny clown. To make a paper clown, you only need one template that can be drawn using a computer. The only condition is to respect the proportions, and the colors can be any. It is best to entrust the coloring of the template to the baby.

After the child has finished working with the template, cut it along the lines shown in the picture. The outer rounded strip will serve as its legs, and the inner one will serve as handles. These parts must be twisted in a spiral. If the paper is thick, then it is enough to draw a scissors blade along the back side, gently but firmly pressing them. Thin paper can be wrapped around a pencil for a few minutes.

No time, but really want to play in the circus? The easiest way to cheer yourself and your baby up is to put on colorful hats. Making them is simple: roll thick cardboard into a cone, and attach a fringe or bubo to the top. If active games are planned, strings will not interfere.

Give your inquisitive kid a bright mood! And do not forget to involve him in creating a home mini-circus, where he will be the main artist.

Circus-style children's party: juggling ideas!

Well, what child does not like games and contests, especially if they are part of the holiday?! Make sure that the kids do not get bored at your celebration by diversifying it with fun contests from our website!

cartoon hero

In this competition, the main thing is the quick reaction of each of the participants. Whoever raises his hand first is the one who answers. The host calls the cartoon character, and one of the participants must name the cartoon in which this character is. One correct answer - one point. At the end of the competition, whoever collects the most points will receive a prize.

Circus (scenario for a children's holiday)

Heroes can be both modern cartoons and old ones, for example, Leopold the Cat, Asterix, Simka, Vupsen and Pupsen, Artemon and so on.

Letter cartoons

The guys are divided into 2-3 teams. For each team, it is necessary to prepare the same number of letters from which you can add the names of the cartoons so that it is not too difficult, you can take three cartoons, for example: “Luntik”, “Fixies”, “Masha and the Bear”, which means that each team should receive such set of letters: Luntikfixikimasha and bear. Letters can be cut or drawn on separate leaves. The team with the smartest and fastest guys will be the winner.

Find the right color

Children become in a circle. The host thinks of a color, and then says its name aloud. Children should immediately find an object of the named color near them. If someone fails to do so, they are out of the game. And the host thinks of a new color. The player who remains last receives a prize.

Kittens and piglets

Children are divided into two teams: the first team is “pigs”, the second is “kittens”. All players are blindfolded, and then they are mixed together. With the help of grunts and meows, the children must again sort out the commands.

Dances

The leader turns on the music to which the children will dance, but this music will constantly change, which means that the dances must also change. You can put both children's songs, and just music without words. The child who does not get confused and dances merrily wins a prize.

catch a ponytail

All children line up in a snake, each player takes the belt of the person in front. The task of the first player is to catch the last one, and the task of the last one is to dodge. From the side, the spectacle is quite interesting. And the players themselves are very interesting and fun.

cars

Players are given long threads, at the ends of which cars are attached. The task of each player is that he must quickly wind up his ball. Players will wind up balls to cheerful music. Whose machine came first, he won.

It's the other way around

All children are divided into two teams. Among them, a driver is chosen. The driver should show various exercises, and the children should do them the other way around. If the driver raised his hand, then the children lower their hands, if the driver tilted to the right, then the children should lean to the left, and so on. The one who goes astray will take the place of the driver.

circle of laughter

All participants line up in a circle. One of them becomes the center of the circle. He picks up a handkerchief and then tosses it up. While the handkerchief flies, everyone should laugh out loud. But when the handkerchief is on the floor, everyone should calm down at once. If someone does not restrain himself and laughs, he will pull the phantom and carry out the task of the leader.

commemorative drawing

The guys are divided into small teams of about 3-5 people. Each team receives a large sheet of paper and pencils (felt-tip pens). The facilitator shows a bright and colorful drawing to the guys for a minute (absolutely any picture that depicts many different objects). Then the facilitator closes the drawing and gives the “start” command, according to which the guys must reproduce the picture on their sheet for a certain time, for example, 5 minutes. The team whose members can display the picture they see as accurately as possible will win.
