I don't usually watch this kind of show, but this year I decided to catch up. And I didn’t just watch the MUZ-TV Award, I even voted for the nominees.

This year's hosts were Ksenia Sobchak, Maxim Galkin, Lera Kudryavtseva and Dmitry Nagiev.

The Red Carpet Award began - the hosts met the star guests at the entrance to the Olympic.

Most of the stars looked stylish and elegant. I didn't like the outfits of only Bianca and Glucose.

Under the spacious outfits, Sobchak was already hiding a pretty decent tummy. Her interesting position did not stop the rest of the hosts from joking, offering her to undress or have sex right on stage. These vulgar jokes were not written in advance, but appeared in the process of improvisation, when the screen hung on the stage and the presenters had to play for time. It turned out badly for them, they stood and "carried beautiful nonsense." They called Baskov to help stall for time, who very reluctantly got up on stage.

Ksenia Sobchak called Baskov a "fireman beetle" because of his bright red sparkly outfit. Later, he answered her in the same way - he said that an old backstage from the Bolshoi Theater was used to sew her dress and that he finally saw expensive jewelry on her, and not Swarovski.

"Breakthrough of the Year": Alekseev "Drunken Sun". I voted for him in this category. I'm very glad that he was the winner. Alekseev performed this song on the Olympic stage and I really liked his number.

"Best Rock Artist": Leningrad. I voted for Nargiz, but I was sure that Leningrad would win in this nomination. And so it happened.

Leningrad opened the MUZ-TV Prize with the song "Exhibit". Remember, as they said in the advertisement, "Even he himself does not know what Shnurov will do at this Prize." But nothing special happened, except that the new vocalist came on stage with a vulgar make-up and in the same "delightful" outfit. Well, Shnurov reduced his speech to one phrase:

"Best Pop Group": SEREBRO. I voted for BandEros, but for some reason I thought that A-studio would win. I do not like Silver, but I liked their number on the MUZ-TV Prize. So cute and romantic.

"Best Duet" Grigory Leps and Ani Lorak - "Leave in English." Glad for their victory, I voted for this duet. Ani Lorak performed the song "Hold my heart". She also had a good number, but not as bright as last year.

"Best Live Show": Danila Kozlovsky "The Big Dream of an Ordinary Man". I randomly voted for Gagarina, since I have not been to any concert.

"Best Hip-Hop Project": Basta. I voted for Timati, I don’t like Basta at all. I did not like the new song of Basta and Gagarina "Voice" at all

"Best Song in a Foreign Language": EMIN - Boomerang. This was a complete surprise even for Emin himself, because besides him, Max Fadeev and Polina Gagarina were also in the nomination. I voted for Fadeev, but I expected Gagarina to win, her song won silver at Eurovision after all. And I hadn't even heard Emin's song before.

"Best Female Video": Anita Tsoi - "Without things" I voted for the song by Sati Casanova "My happiness is sleeping." She has an incredibly beautiful video filmed in Jordan. Anita Tsoi also had a very original video and her victory is well deserved, in my opinion. I liked her speech at the presentation of the plate, very sincere and emotional.

"Best Male Video": Timati feat. Record Orchestra - "Eggplant". I voted for this song, but I thought that Vorobyov would win with the song "Crazy".

"Best performer": Sergey Lazarev. I voted for Leps, I would be very happy with Agutin's victory. But I had no doubt that Lazarev would win. Personally, I don't like this singer and his song from Eurovision is already pretty fed up. On the Olympic stage, he repeated his number from Eurovision.

"Best Performer": Polina Gagarina. Her victory was also expected and well deserved, but I voted for Ani Lorak.

There were also special nominations from MUZ-TV. One of them -- "World Breakthrough of the Year" went to Sergei Lazarev. I think that he was given this as a consolation prize, so that he would not be upset because of Eurovision. Well, just in case, if suddenly he does not win in any of the nominations. He was entered in four, and won only one, while Bilan and Timati carried away two plates each.

In general, the results of the MUZ-TV 2016 Prize suit me, I don’t think that the plates were bought / paid for. I feel sorry for Nyusha, who was nominated in several categories, but did not win in any. She had the brightest show at the MUZ-TV 2016 Awards. Most of the artists focused on the light show and special effects, and Nyusha had a chic dance number with beautiful costumes.

And most of all I didn’t like the performance of Yegor Creed - a bunch of people, scenery, and between them Creed runs and jumps and a phonogram sings instead of him.

I expected more from this Prize, the numbers did not impress me. Of the presenters, only Sobchak liked it, the rest were constantly lost. As for me, it turned out to be a three. But the MUZ-TV Award proudly calls itself the most grandiose event in the musical show business. Those who have not watched the MUZ-TV 2016 "Future Energy" award have not lost anything. I regret that I wasted my time watching this ceremony, or whatever the proper name for this event is.
