Exactly one year ago Sardor Milano(24) won first place in the project " main stage» TV channel « Russia 1". Since then, his life has been scheduled by the hour - concerts, tours, interviews and flights. Sardor told PEOPLETALK about his victory, love for Freddie Mercury and the new musical genre neoclassical.

I was born in Tashkent in 1991. I have Eastern European roots. I was brought up in the best traditions of the East. If a person is at least one minute older than me, I will address him as “You”. This is how I address my parents as well. And sometimes it happens, I just want to show respect and call someone "You", even if the person is younger than me.

At the age of 13, I moved with my parents to Alma-Ata, where I won my first music competition, the chairman of the jury was the People's Artist of Kazakhstan Roza Rymbaeva(58). I started singing at the age of six. My parents noticed that I had hearing and took me to a music studio. Inspired me since childhood Michael Jackson(1958–2009). I grew up on the songs of his band Jackson's Five, at live concerts of the group Queen and disks George Michael(53). My parents had impeccable taste in music, although they are very far from the world of music - they are both managers. My grandmother also had an influence, who addicted me to songs Alla Borisovna Pugacheva(67). It's funny to realize that at the age of eight I already knew who they were Elena Obraztsova(1939-2015) and Svyatoslav Belza (1942–2014).

As a teenager, I had some popularity in the CIS, then I sang songs by an Italian artist Robertino Loretti(68). I was sometimes even compared to him. He gained worldwide popularity as a teenager, and then his voice broke. This is a normal process - a young man turns into a man. After Robertino's voice changed, he rarely sang. I knew that someday this would happen to me. And this moment came at the age of 14-15. I shut up for two years. During the mutational period, I not only didn’t want to sing, but sometimes I didn’t want to talk ... Fortunately, I didn’t have depression - my parents provided great moral support. That's why I graduated from a music college in piano in Alma-Ata - I could not sing, but I understood that I simply do not exist without music. And my hands did not fail me, I mastered the heavy program Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Chopin. But when the mutational period of the voice ended, I decided to enter the conservatory as a conductor.

I took preparatory courses and had to be able to read sheet music and sing it. When I came to class, the teacher invited me to sing. And I sang. She said: "You have an amazing baritone with a beautiful color, you need to start practicing vocals." This is the same as recovering from a fracture - you learn to walk again. So it is here. And I got into shape so quickly that two months later the professor in Tashkent said: “Sardor, you need to go to study in Moscow, in Gnesinka.” This served as such a strong impulse that I really packed up and went to the capital. My parents set a condition for me: either I enter the best university, or I return to my homeland, to Tashkent. And I entered the pop-jazz department, graduated from the academy a year ago with a red diploma.
I got on the show "Main Stage" quite by accident. Before that, I had already had several failures - I did not pass the selection for various popular vocal television projects. So I went to the Main Stage, roughly speaking, out of desperation. It so happened that I was appreciated by Konstantin Meladze (53), and also strongly supported by Yuri Antonov (71). After the end of the project, Antonov gave me his personal prize - an exclusive studio microphone, which he purchased at an auction. I don't use it to record songs, I keep it like a trophy. ( Laughs.) And I won the audience vote, took first place. Nobody expected me to win. Everyone was surprised! I sing neoclassical. This is a new concept in Russia and the world - popular music combined with classical music. That is, it can be a completely pop song, but it will contain parts of the violin and double bass. Or opera vocals.

After the project, I signed a contract with Konstantin Meladze, together we released a song Grazie in Italian. Text written Lilia Vinogradova(48), which works with Lara Fabian(46). But then, unfortunately, it so happened that our paths diverged. Now I have a manager who lives in America - he represents my interests around the world. After " main stage“My life has changed dramatically. This is a "waking up famous" story.. I felt my popularity in my hometown, I started concerts with which I traveled to many countries. Every country I visit has an impact on me, I feel like I am changing. Just recently I returned from London. He sunk into my soul.

By the way, I am the first artist from the CIS countries who gave an interview live to the American television channel NBC. My performance on Main stage» saw a popular producer Tim Koons who once revealed to the world Backstreet Boys, showed it to the NBC producers and contacted me. I have some kind of karmic connection with Freddie Mercury(1946-1991). Firstly, he also has Eastern and European roots. His real name is Farrukh. His zodiac sign is Virgo, so am I. He died in 1991, and I was born that year. I don't think it's just that. On the "Main Stage" in the final, I performed his song Barcelona, which he sang with Montserrat Caballe (83). We "revived" Freddie - I performed with his hologram and performed the part of Caballe. I even felt his presence next to me. It was a firework of emotions.
Relations in the modern world are given very hard, it seems to me that their value has been lost. When a couple breaks up, people don't have to unfollow each other on social media - they won't even yearn for each other. I think I learned what true love is at the age of 17. Oddly enough, I still often see and communicate with this girl. Recently we talked and opened up. She said: "You are the perfect model for the man I would like to have next to me in the future." And she is my guide. Many people say that looks don't matter. I, unfortunately, am not one of those. For me, it is important to “imprint” first. She doesn't have to be a perfect 90-60-90 beauty. But if I looked at her and realized that I like her even with her flaws, then this is the right guide. I don’t know if there is such a concept in principle, but aristocratic modesty is very important to me. It seems to me that they are born with this quality. A girl may even look bright, but be modest inside. I really love the Oktyabr cinema, Kamergersky Lane and Chistye Prudy.

Sardor Milano is a young but very promising vocalist from Uzbekistan. He has already managed to declare himself, triumphantly speaking in the project “X-factor. Main stage" on the Russia-1 channel.
Sardor Ishmukhamedov (this is his real name, Milano is a creative pseudonym) was born in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on September 14, 1991. By the way, he is the grandson of the famous director Elyer Ishmukhamedov.

The boy loved to sing since childhood. He had a clear, clear voice. He was even compared to Lobertino Loretti. In his native Tashkent, he was a member of the Aladdin children's studio, and later studied at a theater college.

From a very young age, he took part in various musical vocal competitions and almost always became the winner. He had a really great voice. However, something happened that should have happened to boys in their teens. His voice broke, and it happened literally one day. As he tells about himself, one day he woke up and realized that he simply did not have a voice. Another would have despaired in his place, stopped singing and would have found himself in a different kind of activity. But Sardor decided to re-learn vocals, literally from scratch.

He moved to Moscow and started all over again. He developed his voice from the smallest, from a range of 5 notes, gradually increasing it. Now Sardor's vocal range is 3.5 octaves. Few vocalists can boast such breadth. Most famous pop and opera singers sing in a range of approximately 2 octaves.

Now Sardor is studying at the Gnessin School. Although he chose the pop-jazz department for training, classical music was and remains his real passion.

When Sardor was 16 years old, he recorded his first album, and four years later he starred in the first video clip. When he was 21 years old, he took part in the Eurovision 2012 qualifying round and reached the final.

But that year, the Buranovsky grandmothers went to represent Russia at the competition.

On the project "X-factor. Main stage "became his mentor Konstantin Meladze. Sardor speaks of his mentor as a true professional and sincere person, with whom it was very comfortable to work. On the project, Sardor won the main prize - a tour of Russia.

When the singer graduates from the Gnessin School, he dreams of going to America and studying for a master's degree. And in ten years, he already plans to collect full houses at the largest concert venues in the country.

Sardor Milano, personal life

As for his personal life, Sardar is still very young to become a married man, but he has a girlfriend.

Read a lot of photos and interesting stories about musicians from all over the world.

At the blind auditions, a young man with an incredible voice immediately attracted the attention of not only the jury members, but also all the spectators. Unlike other contestants, the artist's face was not even shown to the TV audience. And only after the mentors turned to the singer, many recognized him as the winner of the Main Stage project, Sardor Milano.

After the “Fights”, the performer changed his mentor - Dima Bilan preferred his rival, and Polina Gagarina took the 25-year-old artist to her team. However, in the quarterfinals, she was ready to say goodbye to Sardor, depriving him of his highest mark. But the audience gave Milano the most votes. The semi-finalist spoke in an interview with StarHit about his feelings about participating in the project, his personal life and plans for the future.

You said that you tried several times to get into the Voice project. What did you do this time to please the casting?

It so happened that in the first season I was not allowed to blind auditions. I tried again the next year. Before the mentors, I was supposed to appear on the third day of the selection, but shortly before my appearance on the stage, we were announced that the teams had already been recruited, and we were invited to the third season. There I got to the “blind auditions”, but no one turned to me. I think that the choice of composition was unsuccessful - I sang "Eternal Love". As it seems to me now, this is not the mood that a young man can convey, here we need the emotions of an older person who has lived enough. After the failure, depression covered me, I began to think about the future. I accidentally found out about the casting for the Main Stage project. But I went there skeptical. To my surprise, the selection passed, everything went well at the show itself - and now I am the winner.

What did you do after winning the project?

I was noticed by producer Tim Koons, who introduced the Backstreet Boys to the world. I was invited to the air of the NBC channel in the USA. Then I returned to Moscow, and I was haunted by the failure in Golos. I wanted to prove to myself that I can make my dream come true.

Changed the repertoire to impress the mentors?

I chose a rather complex composition - Mozart's aria. But it was a shock for me when I found out that this season there would be no Alexander Gradsky as a mentor. I thought: “Who can turn to me now, who will appreciate it?” All hope was on Dima Bilan, since he has a classical education. And so it happened. But when Leonid Agutin also chose me, it was happiness. I understand that Golos is more of a pop project, but if you look at the chronology, those who perform Russian classics win more often. I do not know what it is connected with. Maybe this direction is not so much now, but people do not have enough of it.

To be honest, I abstracted from the comments, it spoils my mood. But there is an intimate circle of people who keep up to date with what they write about me. It's nice when 70% positive feedback. Maybe someone and seem conceited, but I am extremely honest with the audience. It seems to me that I am on the "Voice" in spite of everything. First, Dima Bilan made a choice after the “Duel” not in my favor, after which Polina Gagarina took me to her place. In the quarter-finals, she gave me fewer votes, but the audience saved me.

How did your relationship with Polina Gagarina develop after you joined her team?

It was emotionally difficult for me, but I pulled myself together. Of course, I chose Dima at the very beginning and wanted to go with him until the end of the project. I was worried about how I would be accepted in the new team. I am glad that we managed to work together with Polina, we had more time to get to know each other. But Bilan, unfortunately, was not imbued, he simply did not have time. By the way, I recently opened a photo where we are captured by the whole Dima team, and I realized that he had two rescued members.

At “Duels” with Oksana Kazakova, we sang a song that is atypical for me, which has nothing to do with the classics. I remember that one of the winners of the "Voice", Sergei Volchkov, sang in the same manner, but still took first place. I can perform any music, I don't limit myself to any particular genre.

How do you see your future? Do you dream of conquering the opera stage or developing in the pop direction?

I graduated from Gnesinka in the direction of pop-jazz vocals. Only two years did he begin to reveal his potential in classical music. I often visit London, I have certain things related to creativity there. I understand the complexity of the genre in which I sing, and, unfortunately, it is not in demand. Maybe, thanks to international experience, it will be possible to realize my dream.

You are originally from Tashkent, but at the blind audition you said that you are from Moscow. Do you feel like a Muscovite?

In fact, everything was not as it might seem. In the profile that was supposed to be shown before the performance, I said that I was born in Uzbekistan. But the producers of the program decided to make a surprise for the audience, and they did not show my face at the blind audition. Already on the stage, I indicated the location where I am and live at the moment. If you really find fault with words, then I didn’t say “from Moscow”, but simply “the city of Moscow”. Of course, those who do not like me used it against me, but all my friends and relatives did not attach any importance to this. The Uzbek diaspora supports, compatriots urge those who are here in Russia to actively vote.

How long ago did you move to Moscow?

It happened seven years ago, I was going to enter the Gnesinka. Literally two months before the entrance exams, I decided to go. Parents did not believe, they said: “Well, go, try, you will come back anyway.” But to the surprise of my relatives, I was enrolled, moreover, the head of the department accepted me into my class. Mom, when she found out, sobbed so much. And then it turned out that the whole family moved to Moscow. But I often visit Tashkent with performances. I play the main role in the musical "The Snow Queen", but right after the semi-finals I will fly away.

Where did your pseudonym "Milano" come from?

Sardor is my real name. And "Milano" appeared from the name of my grandmother - Milovanov. For eight years, I transformed it a little, shortened it. Now I don’t even perceive it as a pseudonym, I’ve become so close. Moreover, I love the Italian city of Milan, my dream is to sing at La Scala.

Sardor Milano (Ishmukhamedov) is the hero of our article today. He was born in 1991 in Tashkent. He began studying music at the age of six. In 2004, his family moved to Kazakhstan, to the city of Alma-Ata. There he continued to study vocals. Then he dreamed of getting on a project with Konstantin Meladze, which seemed impossible at that time. To achieve his goal, he worked hard on his voice and appearance. Sardor came to Moscow to enter the Gnessin Academy of Music, and there his hard work and striving for a goal began to bear fruit. Now, despite his young age, he amazes everyone with his unusual talent, as he can easily sing both baritone and soprano. Also, it is worth noting that Sardor is the owner of a voice with a range of three and a half octaves, which is also considered quite outstanding in the music world.

Sardor Milano - Biography

Sardor Milano- the winner of the musical talent show "Main Stage", which won the jury and the hearts of viewers with his amazing vocals and a range of three and a half octaves. A beautiful voice, bright appearance and a strikingly sincere manner of performance brought the young Uzbek singer a well-deserved victory on the show.

Sardor Milano (real name - Ishmukhamedov) was born in Tashkent on September 14, 1991. From early childhood, the boy was fond of music and professionally engaged in vocals. From the age of six, Sardor performed in the Aladdin children's show group. When the young singer turned ten, he played one of the leading roles in the production of the musical "Island of Dreams". Four times the boy became the winner of the music festival "Umid Yulduzlari". In 2004, Sardor received the Grand Prix at the Yalta contest "Star Crimea", and a year later he won the main prize of the "Shine of the Stars" festival in St. Petersburg. Numerous victories in music competitions finally convinced Milano that music is his main vocation.

The inevitable breaking of the voice was a big shock for the teenager. According to Sardor, after that he had to start learning to sing again. Perseverance and patient work on himself led to amazing results: his vocal range expanded to three and a half octaves (for reference, the working range of a professional choral soloist is only one octave). While still at school, the musician released his first English-language solo album called "All I wish".

So, after graduating from school in 2010, Sardor went to conquer Moscow, where he successfully entered the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in the pop-jazz department. A year later, he starred in the video for the song of his own composition "Stop".

Already in the second year of the institute, the young man decided to try his hand at international competitions and took part in the selection for Eurovision under the pseudonym Sardor. At the same time, the singer's video clip for his song "Believe" was released, timed to coincide with the competition. However, that year the Udmurt team of Buranovskiye Babushki went to the competition.

The failure did not upset the young artist, three years later he again took part in a large-scale television project. This time, Sardor entered the "Main Stage".

"Main Stage"

At the beginning of 2015, the Russian talent show for young musicians "Main Stage" started, in which famous producers select the best of the best for cooperation. Producers are responsible for certain directions in music: Konstantin Meladze oversees the neo-classical direction, Viktor Drobysh is "responsible" for pop music, the "fusion" style is managed by Igor Matvienko, and indie groups are promoted by Max Fadeev. The jury of the project includes such famous personalities as rock musician Sergei "Chizh" Chigrakov, the legendary Soviet pop singer Yuri Antonov, composers Zhanna Rozhdestvenskaya and Walter Afanasiev. By the way, the latter is the author of the world-famous romantic ballad "My heart will go on", which was performed by Canadian singer Celine Dion for the disaster movie "Titanic". The famous showman, the host of the Moscow "Comedy Club" Garik Martirosyan and the maestro of the Russian stage Grigory Leps acted as the hosts of the "Main Stage".

For his first performance before the jury, the Uzbek talent chose the composition "Time to say goodbye" by Italian Andrea Bocelli. Sardor impressed everyone with his performance and almost instantly became the favorite of the TV project.

In the superfinal of the "Big Stage", a pupil of Konstantin Meladze performed a song by his mentor called "Grazie". An overwhelming majority voted for Sardor Milano - 73% of viewers. The nationwide support and the warm attitude of the jury ensured a confident victory for the singer from Uzbekistan.

Personal life

The personal life of Sardor Milano is of interest to the press, but the singer himself prefers not to talk about this. The musician only admitted that he has a girlfriend with whom they have romantic feelings.
