Draw a winter forest with a pencil step by step. Winter Drawing with Children Compilation

Snow. It wraps the earth in a soft, sparkling white veil, and, together with low, thick clouds, creates a magical atmosphere. So let's capture some magic with watercolors!

For this project we will need:

  • watercolor paper
  • Black watercolors and green phthalocyanine
  • Paint brush

First, let's learn how to draw an ordinary spruce.

Step 1

Mix the colors of the paints that you prepared to get a dark green. Draw a thin and short line starting from the top of the sheet. This is the top of the tree.

Step 2

Make some small branches just below the top. Place the brush close to it and sweep it down and to the side, twisting the ends a little. Keep in mind a triangular image with slight bumps around the edges.

Step 3

Continue drawing branches, but with each level making them a little longer. Leave some space between levels. Spruce looks much more realistic with small gaps between the branches.
Also make sure that the branches cover the trunk of the tree. Vary their direction and thickness.

Step 4

Draw a short, thin line at the bottom of the tree to represent its base.

Now let's decide on the shades.

Before you start painting the whole forest, you need to make a scale for determining the shades of paint on any unnecessary piece of watercolor paper. This will greatly help to keep the colors uniform in your work. So use this scale when drawing when needed.

To make it, divide a piece of paper into 3 equal sections. Paint over the first section with a very light shade. The second is medium, and the third is dark. Let the paint dry.

You are now ready to paint the spruce forest in watercolor.

Step 1: Light Wash

Using the first and lightest shade from your scale, draw a row of trees. They should be barely visible. Start drawing them closer to the top edge of the paper, and finish somewhere in the bottom third.

Step 2: Second, Medium Wash

Using a medium shade, paint another row of trees on top of the first one. This row is darker, and should crowd out the previous one. Start drawing them just below the tops of light fir trees, and finish closer to the lower end of the sheet.

Step 3: Dark Layer

Using the darkest of the shades, draw the next, third line of trees above the previous two, starting a little lower than the second. This row is much darker and will stand out a lot. Draw them to the very bottom of the sheet.

Several of these patterns harmonize perfectly. So you can draw a couple more, put them in a frame, and put them together on a shelf. Now you can enjoy the mesmerizing view of the winter forest at home!

The most fabulous time of the year, when children can carelessly walk on crisp snow, sled and skate, is winter. At all times, artists depicted her without fail with snow-covered edges, a blizzard and forest dwellers. If your child does not know yet, tell him, because it is not at all difficult.

If you still have little idea how to draw a children's drawing on the theme "Winter", then try to dream up with your child. Better yet, go for a winter walk in the snowy forest. After the baby gains impressions, the drawing will turn out as it should.

How to draw winter in stages with a pencil for children: a master class for beginners

You can draw winter in stages with both paints: gouache, watercolor, and felt-tip pens. But it is still better for an inexperienced artist to start with a pencil.

So, for the winter masterpiece, we need the following set:

  1. Having turned the sheet vertically, first, with light movements of a simple pencil, you should make the appearance of the relief - snowdrifts in the distance. Approximately in the middle of the resulting "clearing" we draw a projection of a mighty oak, certainly with a hollow. Even someone who has never drawn a realistic tree can do it without much difficulty.
  2. Now it's time to draw the snowman. This should also be done in stages, at first depicting only schematically. As expected, the bottom circle will be the largest, then the middle one, and after the smallest one. Extra lines are easily erased with an eraser.
  3. Now we add details to the snowman - a bucket on his head, a carrot nose, a mouth and buttons from coals, and arms from twigs. Do not forget to draw peeking boots in the form of small ovals.
  4. What is a winter forest without birds - bullfinches and titmouse? You can draw any, because they are similar in shape, only the color differs. We draw one bird on a tree next to the feeder, in which two others are already having lunch.
  5. Oak is oak, but the winter picture will lack something if you do not add a beautiful green Christmas tree to it. Let us first depict it schematically in the form of a triangle divided in half.
  6. Now the task becomes more complicated and the adult may have to help the child a little. From a schematic triangle, it's time to make a Christmas tree, drawing on it starting from the top of the branch. At the very top, you can seat another bird.
  7. In the background, under the lower branches of the oak, arrange a composition of low trees.
  8. Gently erase the Christmas tree with an eraser, leaving only the invisible outlines of the branches. This is necessary so that subsequently the snow on the branches looks more realistic.
  9. Now we take dark green and light green pencils and paint the Christmas tree, combining these two colors for more naturalism. Do not forget to carefully draw the needles. Paint the snow blue.
  10. Using blue and blue pencils, we color the snowdrifts. And with the help of brown, we select the outline of a large tree. Do not forget about letting it be tits and bullfinches.
  11. The background, consisting of snow-covered trees, paint in blue-green colors. And using several shades of brown, add color to the tree. Do not forget to “strew” the oak branches with snow.
  12. To indicate the structure of the bark, draw darker lines on the trunk with a brown pencil.
  13. With the help of blue, lilac and purple pencil add depth to the snowdrifts and color the sky.
  14. That's all - the picture with the winter landscape is ready. Everything is very simple and pretty fast to draw, try it yourself!

Winter is a very cold season. It cannot be said that it is not as beautiful as spring, summer or autumn. Winter has its own characteristics and beauty. Snow-white snowdrifts, crisp snow underfoot and small snowflakes that fall directly from the sky. Well, isn't it lovely? Today we will be in the village in the winter season. A frozen river, roads covered with snow, small houses stand in the distance, and behind them the silhouettes of a winter forest. This lesson will answer the question of how to draw a winter landscape.
Tools and materials:

  • White sheet of paper;
  • Eraser;
  • Simple pencil;
  • Black pen;
  • Colored pencils (orange, brown, blue, blue, dark brown, green, dark yellow, gray).

Draw a winter village landscape

  • Step 1

    In the middle of the sheet we draw two houses. It is worth considering that they will be in the background, so we make them small. On the right, the house will be larger than on the left, and has a window. They will stand in the snow, so we draw the line of the earth a little wavy.

  • Step 2

    Silhouettes of bushes and trees are visible on the sides of the houses. To the right of the house there will be two trees on a tall and thin trunk. We make the horizon line wider.

  • Step 3

    In the background, add silhouettes of trees. We make them different, but the edge of the height of the trees should decrease. Let's draw a little foreground, making a small indentation.

  • Step 4

    In the recess in the middle we draw a small fence, covered with snow. We add snowdrifts on the sides. A river will be placed in the center, so snowdrifts should decrease in this area. And in the very center of the river (and leaf) there will be a large stone.

  • Step 5

    In the foreground, trees will be visible on the sides from the snowdrifts. They will be completely bald, that only the trunk and branches are visible.

  • Step 6

    With a black pen, draw the outlines. We do not select with a black pen only the background of the drawing, on which the forest is located (behind the houses).

  • Step 7

    We make the front of the houses orange. Draw the side part and under the roof with a brown pencil.

  • Step 8

    Draw snow under the house in blue and blue, adding a frosty tint to the drawing. The middle of the pattern will be blue and the edge will be blue.

  • Step 9

    Trees, stumps and a fence need to be drawn in brown and dark brown. On the right side of the trees, add an orange tint.

  • Step 10

    We make the river blue in the middle, and blue closer to the ground. The snow in the foreground will be drawn in gray to give it volume.

  • Step 11

    We will draw the forest against the background of the picture in three colors - gray, dark yellow and green. We apply the color without specifying the contours. Since the trees are in the background, they will be slightly blurred.

  • Step 12

    We finalize the drawing by adding blue color to the sky. Now we know how to draw a winter rural landscape.

How to draw a simple winter landscape with a pencil step by step

Draw a winter landscape with a Christmas tree and a snowman

  • Step 1

    First, using light pencil lines, mark the approximate location of all objects on a piece of paper;

  • Step 2

    Start painting the winter landscape in more detail. To do this, first outline the birch branches, and then draw the outlines of the forest in the distance. Draw a house, depicting a roof, a pipe and windows for it. Draw a path going into the distance;

  • Step 3

    Draw a small Christmas tree next to the birch. And on the other side of the road draw a snowman;

  • Step 4

    Of course, having understood how to draw a winter landscape with a pencil, you should not stop there. You need to color the picture. Therefore, outline the landscape with a liner;

  • Step 5

    Using an eraser, delete the original sketch;

  • Step 6

    Color the Christmas tree with a green pencil. Shade the birch trunk in gray. Paint the stripes on the birch, as well as its branches, with a black pencil;

  • Step 7

    Paint over the forest in the background with green, and paint over the house with brown and burgundy pencils. Color the windows yellow. Shade the smoke with a gray tint;

  • Step 8

    Color the snowman using pencils of various tones for this;

  • Step 9

    Stroke the snow with blue-blue crayons. Shade with yellow those places where the light from the windows falls;

  • Step 10

    Fill in the sky with gray pencils.

  • Step 11

    The drawing is complete! Now you know how to draw a winter landscape! If desired, it can be painted with paints. For example, gouache or watercolor is perfect for this purpose! Also, a similar drawing can be drawn with a simple pencil, using hatching. True, in this case it will not look so bright, festive and spectacular.

Draw a winter landscape with a lake

How to draw a winter forest landscape

Every season the forest is transformed. In spring, it begins to come to life, covering the trees with young foliage and melting snow. In summer, the forest is fragrant not only with flowers, but with ripe berries. Autumn paints the trees of the forest in various warm colors, and the sun warms palely with its last rays. Winter, on the other hand, exposes the branches of trees and covers them with a white blanket of snow, freezing the rivers. It is difficult to resist not to convey this beauty in the illustration. Therefore, today we will choose the last time of the year and learn how to draw a winter forest landscape using colored pencils.
Tools and materials:

  • Simple pencil;
  • White sheet of paper;
  • Eraser;
  • Black helium pen;
  • Black marker;
  • Colored pencils (blue, orange, blue, gray, green, light green, brown, dark brown).
  • Step 1

    We divide the sheet into four parts. First, draw a horizontal line in the middle of the sheet. Draw a vertical line in the middle of the horizontal line.

  • Step 2

    Let's draw the background part of the picture. On the horizontal line we draw two mountains (the left one will be larger than the right one.) And in front of them we will make the silhouettes of trees.

  • Step 3

    We retreat from the horizontal line a small section down (there will be a river here). With the help of a curved line, draw the earth, or rather, a cliff.

  • Step 4

    We retreat further down and draw pine trees. Their peculiarity is in the long trunk and thin branches. At the base of the trunk, add small snowdrifts. The trees on the left have some foliage.

  • Step 5

    In the foreground, draw a deer. The animal should not be too detailed, because the main task of the drawing is to show the winter landscape. Let's add more snowdrifts in the foreground.

  • Step 6

    Outline the outlines of the drawing in the foreground with a black pen. There will be snow on the branches of the trees.

  • Step 7

    We start to draw with color from the background part (top). We determine that there will be a sunset, so between the mountains we apply orange, then we add blue and blue. We make the transitions between colors smooth, applying from the bottom up. The mountains will be gray, but adjust the contrast with pressure. We make the trees in front of the mountains uniformly green.

  • Step 8

    For the river, we use the usual blue and blue colors. Closer to the mountains, we add green and gray to the water to make it look more picturesque.

  • Step 9

    The trunk needs to be drawn using orange, brown and dark brown. The trees on the left have some leaves, which we will make green.

  • Step 10

    Add a shadow from the trees with a gray pencil. Let's add some coldness to the drawing by drawing the foreground in blue.

  • Step 11

    The deer's body is covered with brown fur. And between the snowdrifts add blue. So we learned how to draw a winter forest landscape.

How to draw a winter mountain landscape step by step

You can often see incredibly beautiful mountain landscapes on postcards or find something similar on the Internet. Bewitching stone giants covered with snow. At their foot stand blue firs, frozen from the cold. And there is not a soul around, only a blue snow shimmer. Is it possible to resist not to go to the lesson and learn how to draw a winter mountain landscape with a pencil in stages? The lesson is perfect for beginner artists who will be able to depict this beauty of the icy mountains the first time if they carefully follow the steps.

Winter is one of the most inspiring times of the year.

Your child loves to draw but has unfortunately run out of ideas? No problem.

We offer all kinds of options for winter drawings for children, we will share the best techniques for translating them into reality.

This creative process captures not only children, but also adults and will forever remain in the memory of a pleasant memory!

Winter theme - a field for a flight of fancy. You can draw a house in the snow, various fantasies about this (snowman, snow queen, Santa Claus), children's fun, snowdrifts, animals associated with this season, landscapes (day and night), a river or lake with ice on the surface.

There are many materials for this business: pencils, paints, felt-tip pens, helium pens, cotton wool, glue, sparkles.

House in the snow

We present variations of children's drawings on the theme "Winter" with colored pencils and paints. One of them:

To begin, draw three large snowdrifts, one after the other. Draw Christmas trees on them. To do this, draw one stick with a brown pencil. Branches will emanate from it. Draw needles on them in green. Draw snow with a white pencil. A house will hide behind the snowdrifts. Draw a square and a triangle on top of it. This is a wall with a roof. Place a small square on the wall and a rectangle next to it: a window with a door. Sprinkle the roof with snow in white or blue. Ready.

It is better to do the drawing with hatching, and not paint over all the empty spaces.

Draw winter with paints:

Here is the first snow, and a house in winter. But painting is hard work. To get started, mark up with a simple pencil (take the work plan from the first option). Then just paint with gouache. Mark the snow flakes in blue.

Winter landscape

Zimushka-winter:

Divide a sheet of paper in half. Place two Christmas trees on the top line, followed by light green birch trees. Distribute as many trees on the sides as you see fit. There should be snowdrifts in the center. To do this, leave a couple of lines of purple-pink, blend blue somewhere.

winter tree:

We'll have to divide the horizon again. Only now on one-third and two-thirds of the sheet. In the upper right corner we draw the sun. On the horizon - Christmas trees. We will make them blurry, do not draw the outline and details. With a thin brush on the lower part we draw two semicircles. These are snowdrifts. On them, with the same thin brush, we draw two birch trees without foliage.

Desired fairy tale

When we hear the phrase "winter's tale", Most people think of a snowman, a snow maiden, talking little animals.

Therefore, we offer in the background, and in the front, a smiling snowman and his mouse girlfriend:

To do this, draw three circles. The bottom is the largest, the middle is smaller, and the head is the smallest. She wears a red cap and a multicolored scarf around her neck. On the side are two handles-twigs, on them are warm mittens. In the hand of a New Year's gift.

Fairytale winter house:

Nothing new. We combine elements from early works: here is a house, and Christmas trees, and a snowman. This option is also suitable for children in grades 2 and 3.

fun

The favorite pastime of the kids is, of course, ice skating. Pictures on the theme "Winter fun":

We draw the upper part of the little man the way you always used to do it. Spread your legs a little wider than usual. The second boy can depict how he pushes off the ice. Ice is supposed to be pale blue, otherwise color as desired.

Naughty guys love hockey:

We divide the horizon into two parts. The top one is for the sky, trees and gates, the bottom one is for fun activities. How to make a gate: in a gray square, the strokes go obliquely first from the lower left to the upper right, then from the lower right to the upper left. Put one child on a hill, let the other watch a beautiful picture. Give two children sticks in their hands, throw a black oval puck between them.

We remind you that it is difficult for children to work with paints, because they blur on the sheet. The base should be done with a pencil, and blurry spots should be attached to it, symbolizing hair, clothes, inventory.

fantasies

Children fantasize and dream most often about gifts, the new year and Santa Claus. We suggest you draw winter fantasies using sketches like this:

First, draw an oval, in its center a smaller oval. We divide the large figure into two parts. From above we draw a semi-oval (and on top of it a semicircle), from below a semicircle. We got a hat without a pom-pom. Hurry up and finish it. In the very first oval there will be eyes, furry eyebrows, a nose and a mouth. From the mouth, draw another half of the circle. Starting from the hat, erase the borders, drawing in detail the beard. We paint over.

Another option:

Draw a circle with a smile in the center. This is the nose of Santa Claus. A luxurious mustache should depart from the nose. Then draw frills on the cap and a lush beard in waves. Draw the cap and torso, eyes, eyebrows, gifts behind the back. All that's left to do is paint. Forward! A 4th grade student can do this.

Depicting nature from the earth to the sky

You can draw winter nature in different ways.

Animals

Who, if not a bunny, stays awake all winter. What is not a symbol of this time of year:

The steps are extremely simple: draw an oval, a slightly elongated circle not far from it. Add the contours of the tail and paws. We connect the head with the body, attach long ears to the head. Add strokes to make the wool effect.

Drawing animals with paints is not as difficult as it seems. Penguins live in the ice all year round. They deserve to be on your winter drawing:

How to draw animals: in the upper half of the paints we draw an excellent beautiful northern lights. Most of the sheet is occupied by snowdrifts and ice floes. Three penguins walk merrily on them. We make a black oval, tapering a little at the very beginning. Next to him on the sides are flippers. We dip the brush in orange paint, gently apply downwards. These are webbed feet. We make eyes and abdomens in white.

Forest

Forest - trees and animals collected in one place. As in the picture you can depict a winter forest:

How to draw a winter picture with a mountain ash: we draw a trunk of medium thickness, short branches depart from it. At their ends we place small red circles in two rows. The first row is longer. Next to the mountain ash we draw a red semicircle, two sticks depart from it. From these sticks there are three more: two obliquely, one in the center. Add a black head, beak, wings. We place in the picture a couple of Christmas trees and other animals of your choice. Do not forget to use white and blue pencils to create the effect of snow.

Another variant:

First you need to draw spruce. We dip the brush in green paint, then print evenly on both sides of the sheet. It turns out symmetrical needles. We mark the base of the trunk with brown paint. The rest of it was closed by branches. After that, paint over the bottom and top with white, leaving room for the moon. We are waiting for the white paint to dry, then we apply pink next to the yellow circle and blue around the edges.

Night

Fairy night forest:

Even if you work in a minimalist style, there is a chance to achieve the desired recognition. Print the Christmas tree in green as in the paragraph above. On top of this layer, apply almost the same, but white, leaving room for the previous one. It turns out a Christmas tree, which is covered with snow. We add blue paint to the sky, draw stars and snowflakes on it with a thin brush.

river

Hand-drawn picture with a river:

This drawing is also done with hatching. Christmas trees are made with blue strokes obliquely with an inclination to the right. The sky is purple and blue. Let's add yellow-purple clouds. The river is blue-yellow with a horizontal stroke.

Doing crafts: pleasant gatherings

Winter illustration:

For such a simple craft, we need a sheet of cardboard, glue, colored and plain paper, gouache. Cut out a branch from brown paper. We draw snow on it with white gouache. We dip the palm in red paint and print it horizontally to the sheet. It remains to add eyes, beak and legs. Cut out small snowflakes, glue.

Another easy craft:

Materials at hand: cardboard, colored, cotton wool, cotton pads. Glue the disks on top of each other to make a snowman. We cut out all the necessary details for its decor from paper. We glue brown tree trunks and a broom onto the sheet. Further we deal only with cotton wool. Tear off small pieces, fluff them up. It will be snowdrifts. Then roll into large balls - this is the crown of trees. Smaller balls - Christmas tree. The smallest lumps are falling snow.

Works worthy of the competition

We have selected examples of drawings about winter, with which your child will be able to win the competition. The execution techniques have been presented above.

For those over ten

Ten-year-olds are old enough to perform more complex winter drawing techniques. They are already able to work out small details, handle paints so as not to go over the edges.

How to draw pictures on the theme "Winter" for children 10 years and older:

Beauty - do not take your eyes off

Finally, we would like to show you beautiful painted, talented children's portraits of winter:

We wish you success in all your creative endeavors! Let winter be remembered with a wonderful pattern.

Winter with its amazing landscapes, fluffy snow, magical holidays and exciting entertainment is just around the corner? It's time to remember what this time is good for, and draw something “winter” with your child. For inspiration and interesting ideas, you can read a beautiful poem or a fairy tale about winter. To help you - a few master classes with step-by-step explanations for drawing on winter themes.

Before you start drawing, it is advisable to show your child a few photos of a bewitching frosty painting. Of course, it is even better to admire the real winter patterns. Carefully consider the intricate curls, rays, strokes and intersections of lines that nature adorns the glass.

Please note that none of the elements of the frosty pattern is repeated exactly. In some, snowflakes and the outlines of fluffy spruce branches are guessed, others are like a crescent, stars or prickly crystals of cracked ice, and others look like luxurious lace, fancy fairy vines and petals. Ask the child in what shades it is better to depict a translucent and sparkling winter window painting. Consider three options for drawing winter patterns: in traditional and alternative techniques.

Frosty pattern drawing in gouache

What to prepare:

  • album sheet;
  • gouache (white and blue / rich azure);
  • water;
  • several cotton pads;
  • brushes - dense wide and thin;
  • simple pencil.

How to draw a winter pattern:

Let's prepare the background of the picture. For the effect of transparency and a beautiful gradient of shades to blue or azure gouache, add white, and then dilute the paint with water. With a wide brush, apply the background to the landscape sheet, after which we wash it in several places with a damp cotton pad. Let's wait until the background is completely dry.

With a pencil (trying not to make too bold contours), we outline the outlines of the elements of the window pattern in the center and along the perimeter of the sheet. As a sample, you can use a photo of a frosty pattern or a professional drawing. It is even easier to depict complex elements of a winter ornament - curls and bends - according to a template, and draw simple lines and strokes on your own.

Using a thin brush, we sequentially draw with white gouache (it can also be diluted with water for transparency) all the details of the frosty pattern.

You can make a magical winter pattern on the window stylized "Gzhel". To do this, the colors of the background and ornament will be swapped. Leave the sheet white, and draw the patterns in rich blue.

Drawing winter patterns with stencils

What to prepare:

  • 2-3 stencils (herringbone, flower, carved leaf, tree with a wide crown or the like);
  • album sheet;
  • gouache (blue or blue, mixed with white);
  • flat brush with stiff bristles.

How to draw winter patterns:

Cut out several stencils from thick paper. First - along the outer edge (it is convenient to do this by folding the paper in half). Then, retreating 2-3 cm, - on the inside.

Dip a flat hard brush in blue gouache. Remove excess paint - it should not remain too much on the brush. We press the template to the landscape sheet and draw a frosty pattern with wide strokes.

"Correct" strokes - translucent, "needle", leaving thin stripes on the sheet - imprints of the bristle of the brush. By changing templates and randomly moving them over the paper, you can get unique ornaments, similar to those that decorate our windows with real frost.

You can experiment: draw winter ornaments with white paint on a blue, lavender or black background; use white or bluish toothpaste instead of gouache; apply smears with PVA glue and immediately sprinkle them with salt or crushed foam to simulate sparkling frost.

Drawing frosty painting with wax and paints

What to prepare:

  • white or blue wax candle;
  • gouache (blue or azure);
  • water;
  • album sheet;
  • wide brush.

How to draw frosty ornaments:

Let's invite the child to draw a beautiful winter pattern in an unusual way. Instead of the usual paints or pencils, we use wax. For convenience, we will sharpen the candle, and easily outline the outlines of the drawing with a pencil.

Let's ask the kid to sequentially "draw" all the lines, strokes and curls of the frosty ornament with the tip of the candle. The pressure on the candle should not be strong. At the same time, it is important to ensure that the entire pattern is drawn quite clearly, not with too thin lines. Another way: melt a piece of candle, dip a thin brush into wax and draw the contours of the winter ornament with it. In this case, the drawing will turn out to be more accurate and embossed.

Moisten a sheet with a wax ornament with a brush with water. Without waiting for drying, apply wide strokes of blue or azure gouache over the entire surface of the sheet.

Let's dry the finished drawing. To make it look even more interesting, cut out a window frame from paper and stick it on top of the winter pattern.

Children's drawing of a winter forest, step by step with a photo

Drawing "Winter Pine Forest" in pencil

What to prepare:

  • simple pencils - soft and medium softness;
  • eraser;
  • album sheet;
  • a set of colored pencils, pastels or wax crayons for coloring.

How to draw:

With a medium-hard pencil, we outline the light contours of the snowy hills in the winter forest. With a soft pencil, make the outlines smoother and more airy. Shade the lines.

Let's draw pines. We will arrange the trees on the right and left in groups, in the center we will “plant” a single Christmas tree. We draw branches in three tiers with wavy lines. We round the contours along the edges of the branches, and sharpen them at the tops.

At the top of the album sheet, we will sketch beautiful clouds. We will correct all the details of the drawing, carefully blend the pencil contours.

Let's color the picture of the winter forest. Let's make the upper third of the sheet azure (without painting over the contours of the clouds). The hills will be marked in pale lilac. Leave the bottom third of the picture white or color it light gray-blue. To make the snow look voluminous, draw a few lines with a darker color.

Drawing "Edge of the winter forest" in watercolor

What to prepare:

  • a set of artistic brushes;
  • a simple pencil and eraser;
  • album sheet;
  • a set of watercolor paints (blue, purple, white, green, orange-red).

How to draw a winter forest:

Let's prepare the background. The upper part of the sheet is painted with purple watercolor mixed with water, the lower part is dark blue. Additionally, blur the borders of the transition of shades with a wet brush. This is how the background of the edge of the winter forest will look like in the evening. If you decide to depict a winter forest during the day, the top of the sheet can be made azure, and the bottom left white by drawing a few smooth, barely noticeable bluish lines that imitate the outlines of snowdrifts.

With a pencil, we will draw the contours of trees and Christmas trees growing on the edge. On the left we will depict a large forest tree. First, let's draw its trunk, then all the side branches and thin shoots. Under the tree and in the foreground of the picture, we outline the outlines of forest bushes. On the right, draw the contours of the Christmas trees, large and smaller. Let's correct the image.

We successively paint the contours of the winter tree and bushes with brown watercolor. First - all large elements (trunk, thick branches), then - small ones. When painting the branches, we will draw the brush from their base to the edge, gradually weakening the pressure. The tips of the branches should turn out thin, like real trees and bushes.

Green (it is better to choose a darker shade of watercolor) we will color two forest Christmas trees growing on the winter edge. Along the edges of the spruce branches, you can make frequent sweeping strokes with a hard brush, depicting thick and fluffy needles.

We will decorate the bush in the foreground of the winter forest edge with bright red berries. With the help of white watercolor, we will depict falling snow flakes and picturesquely “sprinkle” the trees, fir trees and berries on the bushes with fluffy snow.

Drawings of winter sports, step by step with a photo

How to draw a skier

What to prepare:

  • album sheet;

Let's make a schematic sketch. With a medium soft pencil, draw a circle - the skier's head. In the forehead area, draw an arc, expand the contours of the circle - draw a hat. You can detail facial features immediately or before completing work.

Let's draw the line of the shoulders and the arms of the skier bent at the elbows. The hands in which he will hold the sticks will be depicted at different levels. Let's denote the body with a rectangle. Let's draw the legs, it's easier to do it in a previously drawn rectangle, the lines of which must be erased upon completion of the work.

Let's finish the equipment: ski boots, ski poles with rings, skis. We detail the drawing. Let's depict the skier's facial features, fingers. Let's draw a pompom on a hat, a zipper and a decorative line on a jacket, stripes on sports trousers.

Let's fix the drawing. We will connect the contours of the head, torso, arms, legs of the skier with a soft pencil and make them smoother. Shade too contrasting lines, remove auxiliary strokes with an eraser. Let's color the drawing.

How to draw a skater

What to prepare:

  • album sheet;
  • simple pencils - soft (M), medium soft (TM);
  • a set of colored pencils, oil pastel, watercolor or gouache for coloring.

Drawing sequence:

Let's make a sketch of the drawing - schematically, with lines and geometric shapes, depict the head, torso, arms, legs of a skater. We use a pencil of medium softness for sketching. Draw the head in the form of a circle. The body is in the form of a straight line. To create the effect of the athlete's movement, we will make the line of his torso inclined - 50-60 ° relative to the edge of the album sheet.

At the junction point of the torso and head, draw a perpendicular line - the skater's shoulders. Let's extend the line of the torso and outline the skater's leg, pushed off the ice and laid back. Let's make a mark approximately in the middle of the torso line, draw the second leg resting on the ice. We also schematically depict the hands of a skater in motion.

"Dress" the skater. Let's draw a cap with a lapel. With lines parallel to the sketch, we will depict a sweater and sweatpants. With short perpendicular and inclined segments, draw the blades of the skates and boots.

We detail the picture. Let's depict the eyes, nose, mouth of a skater. To make his facial features symmetrical, let's draw an auxiliary axis through the center of the circle (the skater's head). Let's draw in succession all the details of the clothing: the pom-pom and stripes on the hat, the trimming of the collar and sleeves of the sweater, the lacing on the boots, etc.

Let's correct the work. With a soft pencil, we will make the outlines of the figure of the skater more voluminous, natural and smooth. Hatching marks the folds of clothing on the folds of the arms and legs. Use the eraser to remove extra strokes and auxiliary axes. Let's color the drawing.

How to draw a hockey player

What to prepare:

  • album sheet;
  • simple soft pencil (M);
  • a set of colored pencils, oil pastel, watercolor or gouache for coloring.

Drawing sequence:

The technique of this drawing is somewhat different from those in which the previous two are performed. Let's draw a circle - the head of a hockey player. With smooth lines we outline the outlines of his figure: a torso tilted to the right, arms, legs. Let's finish the main elements of clothing: athlete's shoes, jacket, trousers, helmet.

We detail the drawing. Let's draw the facial features of a hockey player. Let's depict the decorative trim of the jacket and trousers, the blades and the lacing of the skates. Lastly, draw the stick and the puck.

Let's fix the drawing. Let's more clearly direct the line of the chin, the outlines of the torso, arms and legs of the athlete. Let's erase the auxiliary lines. Let's color the picture.

Drawing a winter fairy tale, ideas for drawings from a photo

Plots of magical winter fairy tales are always drawn by children with inspiration and pleasure. It is useful to have a preliminary conversation with the child: ask what fairy tales about winter he remembers, what episodes he liked and remembered the most, what exactly he would like to draw.

The Snow Queen, Hans Christian Andersen. Perhaps this fairy tale will become a source of inspiration for the little artist. Invite your child to embody one of the most striking episodes in a drawing: the Snow Queen taking Kai away in a luxurious sleigh; Gerda's adventures in search of Kai; meeting of the main characters of the fairy tale in the halls of the ice palace.

"Twelve Months", Samuil Marshak. You can depict the Stepdaughter with a basket of snowdrops and the Brothers of the Months near a winter forest fire; the hard-hearted Stepmother and her flighty daughter barking at each other in dog coats; a meeting of the main character with a princess or another interesting episode of a fairy tale play.

"Snow Maiden", Alexander Ostrovsky. Draw with the baby the beautiful Snow Maiden - the main character of the fairy tale; Grandfather and Baba, sculpting the desired daughter from the snow; The Snow Maiden in a spring round dance with her friends or another memorable moment of your favorite fairy tale.

Other winter tales:

  • "Morozko", Russian folk;
  • "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" by the Brothers Grimm;
  • "Snowman", Andersen;
  • "Two Frosts", Russian folk;
  • "Frost and the Hare", Russian folk;
  • "Moroz Ivanovich", Odoevsky;
  • "Mitten", Charushina.

Drawing a poem by Pushkin Winter morning in pencil, step by step with a photo

The first thing to do before you start drawing based on Pushkin's work "Winter Morning" is to read the poem beautifully and expressively. Even if the child already knows it by heart. The landscape lyrics of the poet are so lively that the ideas of magnificent winter pictures will arise in the imagination by themselves. Endless snow-covered fields with a forest visible on the horizon; a frost-bound river with an edge of snow-covered fir trees near the shore; cozy and picturesque rural landscape; a room with logs smoldering in the fireplace and frosty patterns on the windows.

Drawing based on Pushkin's poem "Winter Morning"

What to prepare:

  • album sheet;
  • simple pencils - soft, medium softness;
  • eraser;
  • wax crayons or a set of colored pencils.

How to draw a winter landscape:

Let's make a sketch of the foreground of the landscape. Let's draw two trees with thin branches on the left (for example, birches): first, schematically, then - draw the contours more smoothly, structurally and clearly.

In the center of the sheet, in uneven zigzags, we mark the outlines of the banks of the river. With the help of two smooth parallel arcs, we will sketch the bridge. In the background, we draw barely noticeable silhouettes of snowy hills.

On the left we will depict a village house with a chimney. Behind him are the tops of forest firs.

Detailing the landscape. Let's draw in detail the transverse strokes on the trunks of birches, the structure of the bark and thick branches, in more contrast - the side shoots and tips of the branches. Zigzags denote the contours of the fir trees. Hatching will outline light shadows on the snow-covered hills and the shine of an ice-bound river. Let's draw the roof, window frames and doors of a village house. Draw the crowns of a wooden frame with parallel lines.

Correct the pencil landscape, remove the auxiliary lines. Color the drawing with wax crayons, pastels or colored pencils.
