Bert Hellinger's method of system constellations. Each system arrangement according to Bert Hellinger is individual and made according to the client's request

The psychological method of the German doctor Bert Hellinger has earned the recognition of specialists in various fields: pedagogy, psychotherapy, sociology, and marketing. The uniqueness lies in the simplicity of the method, the ability to find the root of problems in various areas of human life, as well as to determine ways to solve the identified negative conditions and situations. Hellinger constellations have been used successfully for several decades. However, this method has not only admirers, but also opponents who believe that the system harms program participants.

What are system arrangements

The teaching is an effective practice that was introduced in 1925 by the German philosopher and psychotherapist Bert Hellinger. System constellations are the ability to feel, “scan” the energy and information field of a problem situation. Hellinger's method is based on the innate ability of people to feel. Its proof is our feelings after random encounters with people. Some awaken only positive emotions in us, after communicating with others, we want to take a shower and wash away negativity and irritation.

Hellinger constellations involve working with a group of people. Each participant must use the natural ability to "feel" people and the problem situation that was set by the leader. As a rule, people easily read information about the difficulties in different areas of life from the main participant (the person whose problem is being worked out).

Each of us is a complementary part of a single system. People are connected by tribal programs, family relations, religion, national traditions, friendships, business partnerships. We influence and depend on each other, we seek mutual understanding and love, but among a huge number of people we often feel lonely. This sense of self is dictated by the state of isolation: a person extols suffering and pain, his own exclusivity.

The Hellinger mindset is a simple method for helping people recognize the commonality of their problems. With the help of constellations, program participants can get rid of many far-fetched problems, mental beliefs, revealing their root causes. As a rule, they are destructive family programs and unfinished problem situations in the family that have a negative impact on the fate of a person. With the help of Hellinger constellations, it is possible to uncover the root causes:

  • diseases (drug addiction, alcoholism, genetic diseases);
  • difficulties in family relationships, in relationships with the opposite sex;
  • various phobias, depression, panic attacks;
  • childlessness (if there is no infertility);
  • business problems;
  • unfulfillment in life.

What are the constellations according to the method of Bert Hellinger

Psychological consultation, based on any approach (classical or systemic), begins with identifying the client's problem. At this stage, the specialist determines which placement method is best to apply. Hellinger's system implies several main types: family, structural, organizational, client and spiritual constellations. What are their features and differences?

Family

The type of constellation involves working with family problems. Family constellations according to B. Hellinger include the study of intrapersonal conflicts, generic messages that negatively affect a person's life. Experts are convinced that the difficulties of many clients are due to traumas that have been transferred within the boundaries of the family system in the past. Problems are often associated with a failure of the order of the hierarchy or the principle of "take-give" (the desire of parents to take from children, children's awareness of their superiority over their parents, and the like).

Bert Hellinger believed that family trauma is the main cause of any health problems, in personal life or in the material sphere. The psychotherapist is convinced that the root of any problem is the desire to erase (forget) the participants in the family trauma - both the perpetrators and the victims. This desire to exclude what happened from memory becomes the “causative agent” of various problematic situations and incorrect mental programs in subsequent generations of the family. The Hellinger constellation method helps to find the hidden causes of the client's unhealthy state and get rid of them.

Structural

This type of Hellinger constellation helps to establish such areas of life as work, finances, illness, and get rid of fears. The method is extremely effective if it is impossible to logically substantiate the reason for the repetition of the same problem. Structural constellations help to extract the underlying causes of problem situations to the level of consciousness. The program implies the transformation of a person - this allows him to independently change at a deep level.

Organizational

Designed to solve problems among the members of labor collectives. Special areas of application of the program are working with business consultants, script writers, and researchers. Organizational constellations by the Hellinger method imply "playing" roles, main character traits, specific stories. The purpose of the method is to unite the team to increase the productivity of the team or to resolve internal conflicts. The priority of organizational constellations is the employees themselves, their community.

Client

Constellations according to the Hellinger method are aimed at people whose professions involve helping others (doctors, social workers, psychologists, teachers). This type of program helps to consider the relationship between helpers and help recipients. Through client constellations, it is possible to see how effective this support is, what motives drive those who help, and, if desired, correct them.

Spiritual

The doctrine positions the spirit as something that stimulates development. This Hellinger constellation identifies the therapist and participants as instruments for the manifestation of the spirit. The technique is somewhat contrary to therapeutic constellations, where the main role is assigned to the therapist, who is looking for a solution to the client's problem. The system does not use the concepts of "problem" and "solution". Spiritual constellations consider the situation through the free movement of consciousness.

Laws of the order of love

The family constellation method is based on two main concepts - conscience and order. The psychotherapist in personal philosophy relies on the aspect of conscience, which acts as an analyzer and "organ of balance" of a person. The system will work well only if the conscience is calm - then there is an inner confidence that family life has developed. Anxiety means that a person can no longer belong to the system. This concept is a detector of the degree of internal equilibrium.

Hellinger divides conscience into unconscious and conscious. If the individual acts in accordance with the latter, he violates the rules of the unconscious. So, the conscious conscience gives us excuses, and the unconscious makes us feel guilty. The therapist says that the conflict between them often causes problems in the family. The relationship between husband and wife in such a conflict will be destroyed even in the presence of strong love.

Many people believe that established family orders can change under their influence or that they can be easily overcome with some effort. However, love is not able to give order, since the latter is a fundamental principle, and love is only a component of order. Thus, love is formed exclusively within an order, and it is impossible to change it through one's own efforts.

How is the system placement

Group therapy involves working with each participant, which can last from 30 to 90 minutes. The duration of the system placement is determined depending on the number of requests. The person whose problem is being worked out determines for himself who from the group will play the roles of members of his family. For example, a woman who has a problematic situation with her husband chooses participants to be herself and her husband. The client, under the guidance of her own ideas and feelings, according to the instructions of the psychotherapist, arranges the participants around the room.

Amazing things happen during the program: “deputies” (they are also participants) experience the feelings and emotions of the family members whose roles they perform. Thus, strangers immerse themselves in the situation so deeply that they can clearly express the situations that are happening to someone. Thanks to this effect, there is no need to talk much about the events that took place in the client's family.

What is the danger of the method

Every profession is associated with risks to some extent. For example, an unprofessional driver can knock down a pedestrian, an inexperienced lawyer will deprive a person of freedom, an unqualified doctor will let the disease kill the patient. Due to the lack of experience or low qualifications of the psychologist, the client may lose personal integrity or mental health. In the hands of a non-professional, even psychological work will be dangerous.

The benefits of the constellation method are directly related to the professionalism of the presenter. Only an experienced specialist will determine which version of the system is best suited for use for a particular person, and which one can cause harm or turn out to be useless. Through Hellinger constellations, participants come into contact with other people's personalities as they play roles. The psychotherapist's guidance makes the process safer for the "actor" who will exit the assigned role without negative consequences.

Features of teaching the methodology

The constellation school will be of interest to beginner or practicing psychologists, family doctors, psychotherapists, social workers, teachers and everyone who works with people. The main teaching methods that are used in the program include a theoretical and practical part. The first one involves studying the basics of constellation, reading philosophical notes, considering the methodological and morphogenetic prerequisites of the system. The practical part contains an analysis of specific situations and work through the method of family constellation.

During the course of study, students are introduced to the psychological and philosophical teachings of the constellation method. Students learn about the basic prerequisites of the system, such as positive conditions for developing healthy family or work relationships. During the training, it is considered how love relationships are formed or destroyed. Course participants can study their own problem situations through the prism of Hellinger's constellations and see how to solve them.

Modern psychotherapists are convinced that the method is most valuable in practice, not theory. However, in order to achieve the best results of group work on constellations, you need to understand what the basic concepts and principles of the system are. With the help of the video below, you will gain basic knowledge and understanding of the Hellinger psychological method.

Family, or rather system-family constellations by Bert Hellinger(considered the founder) refer to methods that can help a person solve many, not only family, issues.

How Hellinger Family Constellations Work

The person who came with the request places the group members himself or with the help of a therapist in the role of deputies for his loved ones, telling his situation along the way. Deputies in the process of placement feel what the client’s relatives have experienced or are experiencing, for example, love, resentment, uselessness. With the help of group members (including the psychotherapist), the client has the opportunity to look at the situation from the outside, to solve his problems in many ways.

This view and a number of intermediate steps in the process of therapy help to find a way out of the situation. A picture-solution remains in the mind in the form of the therapist's words, substitutes and their placement. This serves as a resource for changes in the future life of a person.

To get to know the method better, we recommend that you study the basic concepts of constellations in the specialized literature (since their interpretation will take more than one page). The foundation can be the articles of Bert himself and his followers, G. Weber, F. Ruppert and others. The method has much in common with such therapeutic methods as psychodrama, V. Satir's family sculpture and some others.

It is worth noting that the constellations in each individual case, although they have a “Hellinger” basis, differ from each other. The reason is that psychotherapists work differently. The heterogeneity of approaches, in turn, is explained by the fact that family constellations are a practical method. The constellations do not have a theoretical base in its classical, scientific version. That is why among psychologists there is no unambiguous assessment of the methodology. Some experts classify constellations as spiritual practices, and some as psychotherapeutic. But let's dwell on the main question - do the constellations work? If yes, in what cases?

When Constellations Should Say “Yes”

Therapists and clients themselves note that the method is very powerful. A session (arrangement of one situation) is carried out once, unlike most other methods, work with which sometimes lasts for years. Even being only in the role of an observer, many people get a very deep impression, up to the transformation of life positions. For the same reason, the technique in some cases (we will consider them a little later) is not recommended.

Most of the problems in the life of any person are rooted in the family. Murders, exiles (and psychological as well), abortions, violation of the hierarchy in the family (even in its distant past) are the root cause of many phenomena in a person's life. Incomprehensible feelings, inexplicable actions, dual relationships, failures, conflicts, diseases (especially chronic ones). All this can be disassembled, a reason and an explanation can be found, and most importantly, a solution, in constellations.

An example from practice: the son abruptly withdrew into himself, although there were no events before that in his life. The mother at the constellations wants to know what to do. In the process, it turns out that she had an abortion long before the birth of her son. The reason is the disorder of life and young age, 18 years. The aborted child, pushed out of the system and forgotten, demands attention through the real one. When the mother admits her guilt, mentally asks for forgiveness from the unborn, accepts it, the eighteen-year-old son soon tells his mother about an incomprehensible suicidal desire, which passed as unexpectedly as it appeared.

Five "no" constellations

2. If available recent psychological trauma(rape, humiliation, deep resentment, conflict, relocation, natural disaster), therapists do not recommend going to constellations even as an observer. The stressful state to which the constellation participants succumb is already present in a person’s everyday life. Additional psychological stress can only aggravate the situation.

3. acute grief(unexpected death of a loved one, separation, severe illness) are also among the conditions in which it is better not to constellate. Why? A person, being in acute grief, cannot move away from the current situation. Sometimes trying to "look outside" can heighten feelings or offend the client. Therefore, experienced qualified constellators survey participants before conducting therapy in order to exclude a risk group.

4. Exacerbation of psychiatric illness. Constellations are among the techniques for mentally healthy people. Psychiatric illnesses can be aggravated if the patient is a member of constellations.

5. Just out of curiosity It is also better not to participate in therapy. If a person goes to the arrangement without a request or invents it, then not only the client himself, but also the deputies get into an incomprehensible or untruthful situation. The constellator in most cases stops such sessions when he realizes that curiosity will not give therapeutic benefits.

conclusions

Any psychotherapeutic method is based on the fact that the client works on the issue on his own. The task of the therapist is to help, guide, but not decide. Arrangements are built according to the same principle. If the client has a desire to change something, system-family constellations according to Hellinger can contribute to this. At the same time, it is worth remembering the words of Paracelsus that everything is a poison and at the same time a medicine. Sometimes only constellations can help, and sometimes they should be avoided.

In search of information about psychologists for analyzing thoughts, I came across an interesting method about constellations according to Bert Hellinger. I would really like to understand myself and am already looking for a suitable constellator. I would very much like "live" reviews - there are opinions that it is scary, mystic, harmful, and even call the participants zombies.

Recently, the method of psychotherapy, which is called the Bert Hellinger Systemic Phenomenological Approach, has been gaining more and more popularity. A simpler name is "method of system constellations" or simply "constellations". Many therapists use constellations or their individual elements in their work, and as practice shows, this method is very effective and allows in many cases to solve rather complex problems, or problems in the field of relationships, health, career, etc. Our specialists also use this method in their work, in connection with which, I considered it necessary to briefly tell the most important things about this method, which will allow us to get a fairly complete picture of it. In doing so, I will try to describe the method in as simple a language as possible, avoiding tricky scientific terms.

The foundation

Bert Hellinger (b. 1925) began to identify patterns that lead to conflicts between family members and to dire consequences since the 1980s. On this basis, he developed his approach and method of systemic family constellation. His students, colleagues and followers also joined his research. Each of them contributed something of his own to this method, discovering the operation of laws and patterns outside of family relations, in the most diverse spheres of life and human activity.

What problems and tasks can constellations solve?

The constellation method is currently used to resolve emerging conflict situations in family relationships, interpersonal relationships, in organizations and enterprises, the roots of many serious mental and physical illnesses, injuries, suicidal tendencies, and accidents are determined. A request for alignment can also be financial problems, uncertainty in life and lack of interest in it, the definition of one's life purpose, the absence of children in families, hereditary diseases, etc. In general, the placement request should be something important, looking for a solution, an answer. The request must contain energy, the desire to achieve a result, and the clearer the goal and the greater this desire, the more successful and effective the achievement will be. Any life situation, any problem necessarily has its roots, and if you solve the problem superficially, then it will sprout again sooner or later. You can really change the situation only where it arose, and this method helps to find both a place and a solution.

Does spacing always help?

As practice shows, the arrangement helps at least twice as effectively as some other methods of therapy. However, one should not think that a remedy has been found for 100% solution of all problems. Firstly, the work of the client is necessary during the placement and after it, because. success depends 50% on the therapist, 50% on the client. The latter will see where the problem came from, how and what needs to be done now, but the action itself and all responsibility rest entirely with him. By the way, this is the main principle of successful therapy: it will be successful only if the client takes 100% responsibility for everything that happens in his life. If he continues to blame someone for his problems and failures, does not rush to therapy, he will simply give his money away, having received a temporary visible effect, and his life will return to the lesson that he went through while suffering.

Secondly, the causes of suffering may be too severe, i.e. a person has committed an act, the consequences of which he must feel for himself, to atone for him. And fate has its own plans for a person, which she will not change yet. For example, serious illnesses in the form of cancer or AIDS, especially in an advanced form, are rarely cured, and here it may be necessary to accept one's fate, which also sometimes leads to healing. I want to clarify here that accepting this does not mean giving up, it means taking responsibility, and this is what often gives the necessary strength.

What is alignment and how it is carried out

One of the advantages of this method is that it allows you to work with a large number of people at once, having an impact not only on the client whose request is being considered, but also on everyone present and watching the arrangement. Therefore, therapy is carried out in groups of 8-10 people, the upper limit of the group is not limited. The optimal number of participants is 30-50 people.

The group sits down in a circle. The therapist also sits on one of the chairs, the chair to the right of him remains free - this is the client's place. Before starting work, as a rule, those present in a circle introduce themselves and voice the feeling with which they came to therapy and also their request or problem that they want to solve. If the work is not carried out with a specific client, agreed in advance, then the client is among those present. The therapist determines in which of the voiced requests there is energy and a desire to solve the problem. The client sits next to the therapist and a short conversation is held with him, aimed at clarifying the request, while the therapist looks at where the client’s request is directed, where the problem situation could have arisen. Also, if necessary, some details from the life of the client, his parents and ancestors are specified.

Next, the client is invited to choose from among those present, a substitute for himself and for those persons related to the client who will be determined by the therapist (for example, deputies for the client's mother and father). After that, the client is invited to arrange these people inside the circle as he sees it in his mind. The client takes each of the deputies from behind by the shoulders and places them somehow inside the circle (according to his internal image), after which he sits down. And here the most interesting begins, because of which the constellations are called a mystical process. The substitutes that the client has placed in the field begin to experience the same feelings and emotions as the real people they are now replacing. They begin to feel towards each other what these people feel. They can see people or events related to this situation, and then the therapist, clarifying any details with the client, adds these people or events to the arrangement of deputies, which in turn begin to experience their feelings, emotions and even thoughts. In this case, it does not matter whether this person, whom the substitute represents, is alive or dead, since the field manifests in the person of the substitute the qualities of this person, his needs and desires, etc.

During the constellation, such hidden things as the number of abortions a woman has, the presence of love affairs outside of marriage and illegitimate children, family secrets, and the like can appear. In cases where it was possible to find out and clarify, the reliability of the events being manifested is confirmed. The therapist, using substitutes, directs the constellation to where the cause of the problem came from and the cause becomes obvious. As a rule, this happens due to violation of certain laws, wrong actions, rejection of love. Once the cause is revealed, the therapist tries various options to find a solution. At the same time, he changes the location of the figures in the circle, asks them about their feelings and how they change at the same time. The final image is a solution for the client, when he and all the figures feel real relief, getting rid of the heavy and oppressive. An internal healing image is fixed inside the client - a solution. And after a while, he starts to act in life. The principle of changes in life is this: you change yourself, the world around you changes. And the arrangements very clearly demonstrate how this principle works.

Some time after the arrangement (or immediately), the client feels how his life is changing, people and events are changing, and something completely new is coming. And now he decides how to live in a new way. At present, a huge practical experience has been gained, when as a result of the arrangement, amazing, sometimes incredible changes occurred in the lives of the participants.

At the same time, it is important to note that the result of the arrangement affects not only the client, but also the other participants. Similar situations resonate and give their results to both the deputies and those who observe the arrangement. Often, the positive result of those present can be even greater than that of the client.

I would also like to add that it is better to see the constellation at least once than to hear or read about it a hundred times, because this is really an amazing process of cleansing and getting rid of negativity. And best of all, your own feelings will tell about this process.

Everything new is long forgotten old...

The history of constellations goes back more than 6,000 years ago, when spiritual teachers in some religious directions, accepting their students, put them in the place of the one with whom the student had a conflict, so that he could feel the person with whom he was in conflict, his pain or resentment. Also in ancient Greece, before the performance, the actors invited special people who got used to the role of the characters and played their feelings, emotions, actions, and the actors watched their heroes as if they were present and learned to imitate them, adopt their feelings, after which they these roles were great. Also, the history of psychology and psychotherapy can tell a lot about how a similar phenomenon of adopting other people's feelings was used in various techniques. Some therapists used this phenomenon in their practice, carried out similar constellations, but before B. Hellinger they did not try to systematize their achievements and separate them into a separate method.

Mystic or science?

Systemic constellations are recognized as the official method of therapy. The phenomenon that manifests itself during the constellation, associated with the adoption of other people's feelings, is now recognized as one of the scientific phenomena, like the law of attraction. It is simply accepted as something that is still inexplicable, but at the same time scientific. Modern science no longer strives to blindly reject phenomena that it does not understand (for example, UFOs, ghosts, etc.), but tries to find an explanation for them. A number of intelligent scientists turn to ancient treatises, which describe all the secrets and their causes, as well as all phenomena discovered by science and not yet discovered.

Who can do placements?

Theoretically, in order to learn how to conduct constellations, you can, having a psychological education, take advanced training courses in certified institutions, after which you can gain practice as much as possible (because all constellations are very individual and write a single textbook applicable to all cases impossible). At the same time, outwardly, you can even become quite successful in this area. ... But not everything is as simple as everywhere else, there are also hidden, but very important laws, non-observance of which can harm both the client and the group and ultimately lead to serious consequences for the client himself. constellator.

The personality of the therapist conducting the constellations is very important. It must be a holistic person who knows the price that will have to be paid for his mistakes and is ready for this. The therapist must be environmentally friendly, i.e. understand and respect the boundaries of what is permitted, without trying to manipulate people or use constellations as a method of profit. Its primary goal should be aimed at helping those who are waiting and asking for it. It is impossible to intervene “out of good intentions” where he is not asked, in those areas where he is not invited yet.

Constellations entail serious changes in the fate of people, and sooner or later one will have to bear responsibility for each such intervention. For example, if a person does not have wealth, and the constellator increases his wealth, while he must give knowledge about what his poverty was connected with, otherwise he himself will become a beggar in order to pass this lesson with his client (who will also return to his condition). The same goes for health issues, relationships, and so on. As soon as the therapist assumes the role of a magician or Lord God, he automatically assumes the fate of the one he helps. Moreover, as a rule, the therapist does not notice this, if he does not have certain qualities, he does not develop them in himself. Then pride, greed and other enemies will imperceptibly appear in the heart, after which destruction will come at all levels of life. The therapist himself, if he does not give deep knowledge of the causes of suffering to his client, or if he thinks that he is not a tool, but solves problems himself, then he will share the suffering, taking on a part of the client's fate. And the client, having received temporary relief and a respite, will return to his lessons again. That is why, the choice of a therapist must be approached very carefully, finding out not only how many years he has been in therapy, but most importantly, what kind of person he is, what are his motives and goals, as well as personal qualities.

But in any case, everyone chooses how much he will use this advice. After all, in the end, this is also the right to choose and the personal responsibility of a person.

Bert Hellinger noted that often the source of a client's problem lies at the level of life of ancestors, such as parents or grandparents. Any tasks, scenarios that have not been lived to the end or uncorrected mistakes of the past, are passed on to the descendants of the Genus, thereby weaving them into the living and working out of what the ancestors did not complete. Therefore, other methods that are limited to considering only the current life of a person, as a rule, are ineffective, do not allow to see and eliminate the causes of certain undesirable phenomena. Unreacted feelings, destructive scenarios of behavior, illnesses are passed on to descendants and are lived as one's own. Within the framework of family constellations, the study of the client's problem is carried out more widely, systematically, the sources of problems are identified and eliminated, the root of which is in the life of not only current, but also previous generations. So, the Hellinger constellations are a method that allows you to work with a person as part of a system, find and eliminate the causes of certain negative phenomena in a person’s life, the source of which is in the life of their ancestors.

In the course of his observations, Bert Hellinger identified unconscious actions and reactions of family members that lead to increased suffering (for example, a daughter's revenge on other men for a mother who was mistreated by her father leads to even more innocent victims and misfortunes, while the problem is not solved), as well as several key laws of family systems (to be discussed in detail below), the violation of which leads to certain negative consequences.

Many constellations help solve problems, some people come out completely changed, despite the fact that they do not understand at all what happened, everything looked like some kind of strange theater, but at the same time, there is a feeling that something important has happened. In the process of arrangement, one can single out a certain structure, key points, understanding which, what is happening becomes clearer and often instructive.

How does the Hellinger system arrangement work?

A person comes with a problem that he wants to solve. There is a small discussion with the host, it is revealed how suitable the arrangement method is for the solution (sometimes a person simply lacks knowledge, perhaps some kind of worldly advice). Further, for the client system under consideration, for example, a family, several significant people in this situation are identified. In their roles from among the participants, the client or leader selects deputies and places them in accordance with how their position in the system is felt. The field of the system under consideration appears, gradually the deputies plunge into roles and begin to broadcast the processes taking place in the family. For example, a substitute mother may feel parental feelings for her daughter's substitute, substitutes for two warring family members begin to show aggression towards each other, and a sister begins to cry over a brother who died early. If necessary, some more roles are added to the arrangement and it is tracked how their appearance affects the system and changes in behavior.

According to the relative position and relationship between the elements of the system, violations associated with the client's request are determined. Further, various steps are taken to eliminate the identified violations, for example, by changing the position of the deputies, placing them in the right order or by pronouncing permissive phrases, as a result of which the family field and the client’s condition change, the causes of negativity disappear (sometimes additional work is needed to eliminate the accumulated consequences). The client, as a rule, observes everything from the outside, and then is introduced into the field of arrangement to perform key actions, live and fix the image-decision.

After the arrangement, it is better not to discuss it with anyone, try not to talk for a while (and with yourself too, do not ask questions, do not try to analyze), be alone with yourself, do not leave the process, fully accept and assimilate what happened . Sometimes a person starts talking (more suitable is "talking") in order to relieve tension, thus he knocks down the mood and reduces the strength of the constellation, the effect it produces.

As a result of the arrangement, the system is being rebuilt, so new ones may appear, change, or the old relations between people may cease, what bound them together will leave. Significant metamorphoses are possible in the lives of members of the system, for example, illnesses disappear or undesirable events cease to occur, someone marries, adult children leave their parents' apartment and begin to live on their own, irreconcilable relatives reconcile, sometimes something appears that has been hidden for a long time and calls for responsibility , to be paid on old accounts, to which they turned a blind eye. Those. not only pleasant changes can occur, but also something that is painfully perceived by some members of the system, requiring development and restructuring.

The idea to shift the function of displaying hidden subtle processes to the people themselves is very good, because. people, by nature, are good translators, they constantly work out signals from the subtle plane, realizing them in the dense one (more details below). A person has more degrees of freedom, more flexible than any other system, any other tool, for example, cards, a pendulum, a frame, etc. Substitutes can move, speak, show emotions, build figures, show dynamics, connection, interact, etc. ., which allows you to more fully and vividly convey subtle processes. It also gives some clarity and is easier to perceive by others, what is happening is clearer, more natural and closer to a person’s everyday life than the form in which information is given out in other systems (Tarot, pendulum, etc.).

The constellation method can be used not only to unleash family entanglements, but also to address issues of personal development (what is better to focus on now), finding a place in life, forecasting (which choice is best for a person), to clarify and improve relationships within teams, for example organizations (what happens between employees on a subtle level, where are the weak points, why the director stopped working well, how best to build relationships with this or that employee, what is the reason for current failures, mass layoffs and apathy in the company, what can be done, how customers will react to innovations). We can say that this is a technique based on the phenomenon of substitutive perception, the ability of a person to identify with any objects (subpersonality, a person, a dream figure, a collective, an organ of the body) or rather abstract concepts, processes, qualities and phenomena (death, relations , reason, emotion, disease, life, wisdom).

Constellations, in addition to the group form, can be carried out one on one with a specialist, then the places of the figures are marked with “anchors”, and the specialist moves from mark to mark and gets used to the sensations of this figure, then everything happens approximately the same as in group work. Work can be done in your imagination, alone with yourself.

Systematic consideration of problems

A widespread narrow view of certain negative actions or vices of a person often does not allow solving the problem, because often several people are involved in this and the reason, the source of such behavior may be in another person, and everything is blamed on the victim and looking for (and finding) flaws in it. If you look at the problem more broadly, see a person as part of the system, pay attention to the relationship of elements, then often the situation is presented in a completely different light, and accordingly, other solutions appear.

Example "Man drinking"

The first husband of the woman left her and after a while she marries another, most likely not out of love. A woman is constantly dissatisfied with her new husband, compares him with others and finds flaws, and especially with the first. This happens as clearly - no matter what a man does, everything is wrong, and on a subtle plane - a woman inside regularly aggresses, sends negative thoughts, does not respect and despises a man, instead of a house like a fortress, good comfort, only pummeling. The husband gradually begins to drink, because. cannot withstand constant attacks. Perhaps he is not aware of the source of the problem, he feels that he is not well, and in order to somehow get away from these feelings, he forgets himself in alcohol. A man sacrifices himself to save his marriage.

Usually they say something like this: “Everything is fine with him, because he drinks!”, "Go get coded!"(in this case, the opportunity to rest, defend for a short time is blocked, and then other, more serious consequences are likely, for example, heart problems and early death or “unmotivated” attacks of aggression and beatings), "Such a wonderful woman is not lucky with a man"(human behavior within the family and in public sometimes varies greatly, under the influence of various egregors, both the perception of the world and the roles played by a person are rebuilt. A woman may well be “soft and fluffy” in public. See below in the text about the impact of egregors.), " stop drinking." To stop drinking, you need to see the source of the problem, as well as have the strength to make the decision to leave the relationship. Either a woman needs to figure out what is happening, where these emotions come from, what is their cause, and this is hard and you don’t want to look in that direction, because. something serious may come up, requiring a lot of energy and work on oneself. And in this case, to divert eyes, the stigma is hung that “a drunkard man” (a common version of the “solution” of the problem by the subconscious in order to reduce pressure on the consciousness. See the article on the work of the consciousness and the subconscious), then nothing needs to be done, the position of the victim is taken , all responsibility and blame is shifted to another. This is a special case, for illustration, there are other reasons for drunkenness and in each case you need to look individually.

As can be seen above, with an external declaration of any desires, often people inside themselves do not want changes, desires serve as a screen, speaking in this way or engaging in self-deception, a person receives some benefit. The actual implementation of what is desired may not be beneficial for some participants at all, because can lead to a restructuring of the system and relationships within it, sometimes these relationships can stop (the husband sees that his wife has not married for love and realizes the perniciousness of being with her further), even someone's death is possible (for example, when one person held another or wanted to die instead of him, saying deep inside: "better me instead of you"). All objects (both egregors and people) that are not interested in real changes begin to resist as much as they can, create various temptations and unforeseen circumstances in order to return everything to its previous course. For example, as soon as a man comes close to understanding, the wife becomes “silky” (the state is often induced by egregor and unconsciously played out) and gradually takes him away from “bad” thoughts, or when the husband is ready for decisive action, urgent matters appear and thoughts come ( from the system) that it is better not to do this yet, the words sound inside: “Well, be patient, wait a little more. Maybe things will change?". States of a man can jump from "My feet won't be here anymore", to the complete absurdity of previous thoughts and a lack of understanding of how he could think about it. These states are highly dependent on which egregore the man is currently connected to.

The impact of egregor on a person

After the arrangement, one can wonder how it happened that gradually a person began to reproduce other people's emotions, thoughts and attitudes towards other people, perception changed, began to feel, until recently, strangers, like his mother, husband, grandmother, brother, much was lived "as as if for real ”- such is the effect of egregor on a person. Few people transfer the experience gained to everyday life, wondering how much what we do every day, think, want, feel, live is our own, and not induced.

With the exit from the constellation field, the impact of egregors does not end, because. egregors are everywhere, a person simply moves from the area of management of one egregor to the area of \u200b\u200bother. A person goes out into the street and falls under the influence of a pedestrian egregore, which imperceptibly regulates the flow of people (you can feel the necessary speed of movement and some lines of force along which it is better to go. In the direction of those who violate the preferred speed and trajectory, for example, when a person walks across crowds or constantly abruptly changes direction and speed, egregore makes other people feel dissatisfied, aggressive), or motorists, or the subway. Then he comes to work, home or to the store - they also have their own egregors that control the situation and people's behavior.

Example "In the store"

A burning desire to buy something appears in the store and is somehow explained (or not explained at all) that after leaving the store can be perceived as superfluous and unnecessary, although at the moment of choice it was felt as clearly necessary, almost vital. The longer a person walks around the store, the higher the likelihood of falling into a semi-trance state and buying a lot of things that were not planned at all. Therefore, in many stores, bread is placed farther away, so that when following it, the buyer picks up something else along the way. Huge racks, a large selection, multi-colored packaging - all this disperses attention and contributes to the transition to the desired state. Listing, moving fast and focused reduce impulse buying.

Everything that happens is perceived personally, it seems to a person that the thoughts, emotions, impulses for action and the perception of other people are his own. In fact, the egregore leading the situation organizes a suitable set of circumstances, puts some roles on the participants and offers scenarios for the game that correspond to the roles, induces certain states. Given that a person is under the influence of the field not for 15 minutes, but most often much longer - often days and years, we can assume how powerful and deep this effect is, how familiar and imperceptible it is. In life, every person is an even better actor than in constellations, he gets used to the roles even better, learns them for a long time, perfectly and truly, selflessly performs.

Therefore, in most cases, the actions prescribed by the scenario are performed by a person without hesitation, automatically, from beginning to end, without assessing how useful they are and with full confidence that they are his own. Sometimes such reactions are inadequate to the situation, illogical and lead to negative consequences. Often scenarios are repeated more than once, and a person even notices that it ends badly, yet he enters them and works out, something sucks him in.

Example "Introduced Aggression"

A woman periodically finds a “causeless” feeling of hatred for men, she wants to take revenge on them, begins to perceive them as enemies who need to be punished. This feeling was passed on to her from her mother, whose husband mistreated his wife. It is clear that such obsessions have a bad effect on relationships with men who do not understand the periodic outbreaks of fierce hatred, aggression and destructive behavior. But the program, from time to time, turns on and the woman unconsciously produces a series of blows to "her enemies."

The solution will be to see what is really happening, that these feelings do not belong to her, but are induced, to disidentify. Many problems can be avoided by knowing the laws (orders) of family systems and the impact that their violation has on the lives of family members.

Ownership Law

All members of the system have an equal right to belong to the genus, no one can be excluded, there is no division into good and bad. Members of the system include grandparents, parents, previous partners of parents and grandparents, someone who has seriously affected the system (for example, saved someone from the system members, or killed), children, aborted or stillborn, murderers and their victims, those who have suffered in any way from the actions of the members of the system, and whether these people are alive now or not, they are all part of the system. It often happens that some of the members of the system are forgotten or forced out, for example, parents are hurt inside because they had an abortion, they try to forget, not to think about what happened, thereby, as it were, trying to exclude the child from their family. Or relatives with a difficult fate, unusual by social standards, are rejected - they prefer not to talk about them, a certain taboo appears.

In the event of any exclusion of one of the members, the system seeks to restore its integrity by the fact that the descendants begin to work out scenarios of behavior, carry the fate and feelings of the excluded, an identification occurs that people, most often, are not aware of.

Example "Remembering Grandpa"

Grandfather, a businessman, went bankrupt in one business, lost everything, his wife left him along with the child, and they prefer not to talk about him anymore. The grandson is also in business and as soon as he gets to the moment of significant success, he starts making mistake after mistake and eventually fails. This is how he remembers his grandfather. It is necessary to pay tribute to the fate of the grandfather, to lovingly acknowledge that he is part of the family, if possible, to establish contact with him.

You can look a little from the other side. Genus, egregore is a system that has its own tasks (karma), and family members are elements that perform certain functions. In the event of the exclusion of any of the family members, the functions are redistributed among the remaining participants, or the search for a person for the appropriate role begins (for example, it seems to a man that he is looking for a young mistress, but in fact, he misses his unborn daughter). When a suitable person appears, the system directs the missing role to him, he unconsciously identifies with the excluded person and begins to perform his functions. If the displaced family member is remembered and given his due, then even if he has died long ago, he is still present in the system and there is no need to transfer his functions to someone else. The task of a person who is identified is to see the real situation, to understand with whom identification takes place, to lovingly include him in the system, then disidentification occurs, imposed functions, emotions, thoughts, life scenarios go to its owner and there is no longer a need to play someone else's role.

Law of Hierarchy

Relationships arise when one side gives something to the other. The one who gives feels a certain lightness, superiority and the right to demand. The recipient, on the other hand, has a feeling of guilt, internal tension, a desire to give something in return, and this internal feeling will torment the person until he restores the balance. So the system, through a sense of guilt and innocence, directs people to maintain balance, tries to balance the exchange within itself between equals in status - for example, between a husband and wife.

When the balance is restored, the relationship may end, because. the tension goes away, the participants have a feeling of lightness. Therefore, in order to continue the relationship, if something good is received, you can return a little more so that the tension is constantly maintained, and the volume of exchange between people grows, which leads to mutual enrichment, filling the participants and increasing the good. If a person has done something bad, then in order to continue the relationship and improve their quality, you need to return a little less bad, that is. the volume of exchange in the bad will be less and less each time.

For those who have been treated unfairly, there is a trap and a great temptation to become an even greater aggressor, to turn into a cruel destroyer. The victim of a bad deed often inside feels his superiority over the offender, arrogance, there is a feeling of the right to demand, punish. Various thoughts can slip through, such as: “I am good, you are bad”, “I am much better, cleaner and higher than you”, “I am kind and tolerant, and you are evil, mean and unbalanced”, “I suffer and go to heaven and you, sinner, go to hell.” The victim sometimes relishes such thoughts, despises and swells in his arrogance, not noticing how his heart closes, he becomes callous, winds himself up (an astral-mental loop - when thoughts and emotions heat up and strengthen each other), is filled with poison and gradually turns into the one whom recently cursed and with a clear conscience, under the pressure of increasing internal tension, commits even greater evil. The mind, with a closed heart, can come up with any justifications for cruelty, and they will look quite adequate (“it is his own fault”, “tit for tat”, “I eradicate injustice”, “I am only for protection purposes”), at least for the one who imagined himself.

In the event of an imbalance, when one gives more than the other, the destruction of the relationship is likely, because. the first begins to feel exhausted and superior, and the second is pushed out of the exchange under the pressure of guilt and an oppressive feeling of being inferior to the other. Sometimes the giver goes to great lengths to prevent the taker from repaying, so he wants to maintain a sense of superiority.

It is very difficult for the taker to sincerely admit that he receives more, that he is, as it were, lower. it is a relationship of equals and the transition to another status is a very serious blow to self-esteem. Refusal to another in equality inside is perceived as aggression and the taker experiences in this case:

  • A deep sense of guilt and a strong desire to get out of the relationship, it just pushes
  • aggression towards someone who tries to put himself above
  • impulses to restore balance in good or bad. If the exchange cannot be balanced in a good way, i.e. there is no way to thank proportionately, then the option remains in the bad (in fact, in the amount of the difference in the exchange of good and the pressure that it exerts). These may be attempts to humiliate the giver, the desire for revenge, dirty tricks and other negative manifestations.

When there is an unequal exchange, the taker's subconscious finds various ways to protect the psyche and reduce pressure on the consciousness, for example, through the devaluation of what is obtained. Periodically, the pressure transforms into outbursts of anger and aggression against the one who gives more, which from the outside seem completely inadequate and undeserved. When there is no strength to endure and suppress, an explosion occurs, and the taker leaves the relationship. Therefore, in a relationship of equals, it is necessary to keep in mind the size of how much the other is able to return and not cross this border.

If the balance is not restored, then the feeling of duty or the right to demand, to take revenge is transferred to the later members of the system.

Example "Partnership"

The man's ancestor treated his partner unfairly, deceived him. A man is engaged in business, opens companies, enters into partnerships, which end up being “thrown” in some way.

There is another type of relationship - one in which inequality is initially present and some give much more, while others take, for example, between parents and children or between a teacher and a student. In this case, the receiving party cannot return its debt to the one who gives, but can only pass on what was received, for example, to its students or children.

Despite the fact that a reasonable person actively uses all the achievements of modern civilization, some deep part of his psyche and physiology repeats the mental organization of his ancestors from a primitive communal society.

Initially, we were intended to live within the clan, within the family. The laws of these cells of society are unconsciously aimed at the preservation of the species, just as it happens in an anthill or in a swarm of bees.

It would seem, why do we need to know about these laws, when now you can survive and realize yourself perfectly, living alone or in a small family?

It turns out that the patterns of intra-tribal relations between people still operate in our lives. Moreover, they apply to all its areas, including business and relationships within any team.

The psychotherapist was the first to discover this phenomenon and systematize the laws of relations between members of the same family. Bert Hellinger- the author of the method of family constellations.

About the author of the methodology

Before becoming a psychotherapist, Bert Hellinger had come a long way from a missionary in South Africa to a practicing member of the psychoanalyst association in Munich.

Exploring the relationships that arise in different groups, he discovered that the emergence of tragic conflicts in different families has its own patterns.

Bert Hellinger has a long history of working as a family counselor and has developed a technique for overcoming such conflicts, which has become known in professional circles as the "Hellinger constellation."

In collaboration with the German psychiatrist G. Weber in 1993, the psychotherapist wrote the book "Two Kinds of Happiness", which tells about the method of constellations. This fruit of many years of practice immediately became a national bestseller.

Currently, Hellinger has created a school for his followers, travels around the world with lectures and conducts educational seminars.

How are the placements going?

Externally, the Hellinger arrangements look like this:

  1. the client reports his problem associated with relationships between members of his family or personal sphere.
  2. among the members of the group selected to work with this problem, so-called "substitutes" are chosen members of the client's family or people associated with the client's problem.
  3. they arranged in space they are discouraged from using expressive gestures or postures.
  4. deputies who took on other people's roles, move the way they feel and say what they feel.
  5. receiving information and drawing conclusions, the installer is working using special techniques, allowing phrases and techniques.
  6. after the end of the session removes deputies from the roles of those being replaced.

Despite the fact that the members of the group have no idea about their prototypes and their problems, after serious and thoughtful work of the facilitator, substitutes begin to feel the same as the client's family members or other people.

Information about this comes to them from the "knowing" or "morphic" field. The presence of this field is the only weak point of the Hellinger constellation method, although during the practical studies of the last decades there has been evidence that "field" information can be trusted.

Is the danger of constellations a myth?

Opponents of Bert Hellinger often say that when replacing, there is a danger that the substitute will not be able to completely leave the role of the replaced, he becomes obsessed.

It is even more dangerous if the deputy took on the role of a deceased person. So are Hellinger constellations dangerous?

Possible problems of a family therapy session:

  • It is not safe for the constellator to be included in the client's system, as there is a danger of entanglement;
  • Arrangers, deputies and even observers with weak energy protection run the risk of attaching the client's hereditary karmic illnesses to their subtle plane.

To avoid doubts, dangerous l

and arrangements, it is necessary after the session to “cleanse” all participants with energy flows, create protective vibrations, use special minerals.

Whom to contact if you want to make an arrangement?

This method of work is rapidly spreading, and for good reason, because it really leads the client to the result. However, more and more unskilled specialists (constellations) appear in the world of psychology, who take up work simply after reading books, without studying. This is very dangerous, because such an irresponsible approach can harm both the client and the therapist.

If a person decides to try this technique, then you need to apply strictly to a certified professional. This will ensure the safety and quality of work. Below are links to some of the experts who are known and have already earned the trust of customers.

Lyubov Sadovnikova, Nizhny Novgorod (online)
Natalia Rubleva, Moscow (online)

The world of technology is developing faster every year, but the number of free hours people have is decreasing.

That is why the “online consultation” method appeared in psychological practice. Now almost every specialist in the field of psychology is ready to accept a client at a distance.

However, is it possible to conduct constellations via Skype? After all, this is not a traditional method of counseling.

The opinions of therapists on constellations on this matter differ. Someone argues that it is difficult to transfer roles and receive information at a distance, while someone is sure that this is not only possible, but also completely easy.

It turns out that the possibility of a high-quality Skype constellation session depends on the specialist. If he is confident in his ability to read information at a distance, has successful experience in this field, and is also fluent in the constellation method, then everything will work out. But if at least one of the above points is lame, then there may be difficulties. When contacting a constellation therapist, read reviews about him.

Feedback from specialists and session participants

Professional psychotherapists believe that this technique allows a person to overcome internal barriers, give more vision in difficult situations, get rid of relationship obstacles.

Feedback on the arrangements of the participants in such sessions suggests that they had interesting sensations, it became possible to look at many things with different point of view, see through the problem of another getting out of your situation.

Clients of such sessions, leaving feedback on the constellations in which they were the main persons, are mostly satisfied with the results. The effect of the work occurs immediately, long hours of therapy are not needed.

Those who have gone through the work believe that they need to work on themselves constantly. Nothing will change for those who do nothing to work on their problem.

Hellinger family constellations are an unusual, promising technique that allows you to penetrate deep into the problem of many generations of one family and solve it with the least effort.

Why don't alignments help?

Sometimes you have to hear that too. A person made an arrangement for himself, and maybe more than one, but there is no result. Why? There are several nuances here. We answer.

1. There is definitely no result?
When a person comes in for therapy or constellation, they have a clear picture in their mind of a good outcome and how it should HAPPEN. He is waiting for just such a course of history. For example, for a suitable partner to get to know him, invite him on a date. Or to be hired by a dream company. And then, when something goes wrong, he rejects it. If the right person appeared in the field (and this is already the result), and you have the opportunity to get to know him, but otherwise than it seemed in your head, everything is rejected! This is not it! This is not the result. If there are no places in the dream company, but a friend offers a good project, this is not taken as a result. This is not it.
The human brain is sometimes reactive and erroneously draws conclusions. Is there really no result?

2. The psyche of the Soul is inert.
What is there to hide. The human psyche is inert, and it just wants to go along the old path. And it’s understandable why, because everything is already familiar there and has been completed not once. And then they offer some new solution, the unknown, you need to clear the way, go consciously ... “Nooo,” says the psyche and returns to the old scenarios. What to do? WANT TO GO FORWARD AND BE AWARE. The arrangement is not a magic wand, I did everything. This is work on yourself. Every day you have to make a choice in favor of the new or the old.

3. The degree of NOT readiness for change.
This is perhaps the most common. How does this happen. Person N really wanted to fix something in his life, he went to the constellation and it helped him. The result was 100%. He, of course, told his friend M about this. He caught fire, “I’ll go too, N helped.” He goes, makes arrangements, and does not help him. Why? Because he "didn't burn like N"!!! He went out of curiosity, in fact there was little energy for changes.

4. Everyone has their own rhythm.
Sometimes a person wants too much at once. So that the result is the next day, so that everything is as he wants, quickly and efficiently. But each Soul has its own pace. For someone, the arrangement really acts very quickly. Sometimes changes come already at the seminar. This suggests that the soul is open to the new, it has already eaten up old problems. And for some, the results are extremely slow. Step by step the Soul opens to the new. And this may not even be noticeable to the person himself, but only the people around notice how he has changed. These changes are so subtle and little by little that it is difficult to track them and impossible to describe!!! But they are.

5. The problem is not finally resolved.
Not all problems can be solved at once. The topic of mother and father is the most popular and longest topic that even advanced people resolve for years. It's full of hidden dynamics and mysteries. They crawl out again and again. What to do? THANK GOD that they appear, and we have the opportunity to become even happier. After all, some people live in the fog all their lives. One problem can have up to 10 layers and layers. As Hellinger himself said, a person's life is not enough even to get rid of 50% of the interweaving. So we offer to relax and trust the processes that are taking place.

6. Inappropriate therapist or method.
For a successful result, it is necessary that the client trust the method and the therapist. If this does not happen, then the result may not be. Also, unfortunately, there are many non-professional specialists who do something without knowing what.

7. Take responsibility.
When the placement of 50% responsibility on the client and 50% on the therapist begins. But when it ends, and a person goes into his life, the responsibility is 100% on him! What happens sometimes? A person came, made an arrangement, left and is waiting for the result. He believes that the therapist had to make sure that the result would appear. And the client ceases to take care of himself, of his internal dynamics, shifting all responsibility to the therapist. As a result, nothing happens. There is no result.

Here are perhaps the most common 7 points why the result does not occur in life after the placement. Before you get angry at the therapist or ask for help again, you should think about whether some item is relevant?
