Malakhov had a fight during the transfer. Scandalous facts about Malakhov's departure from the first channel were revealed

Finally, all the i's are dotted - Andrey Malakhov officially left Channel One. "I have always been subordinate. A soldier who follows orders. But I wanted to be independent. I looked at my colleagues: they became producers of their programs, they began to make decisions themselves. And suddenly an understanding came: life goes on, and you need to grow, get out of the tight framework" , Malakhov explained in an interview with Woman`s Day.

And in an appeal to the chief TV doctor of the country, Elena Malysheva, published in StarHit, he was a little more specific: “We need to develop, you, as a producer of your own program, understand this better than others. male menopause "is also not bad."

Now, for people far from television cuisine, it is worth explaining what Malakhov meant. The fact is that Natalya Nikonova returned to Channel One as a producer. She returned and developed a storm of activity, seizing the reins of government with the Let Them Talk program. Employees of Channel One reported that Nikonova's task was to "shake up the socio-political block of programs." These changes were not to the liking of the star TV presenter.

It must be said that the changes were revolutionary. Firstly, Andrey, as they say, was deprived of the opportunity to form the editorial plan of the program "Let them talk." He was assigned only the role of a presenter, to whom they write questions to the heroes and in the ear monitor of which the director gives the commands "Let them fight", "Do not approach the heroine, let her scream", "Come to the experts in the hall." Malakhov did not satisfy the function of the "talking head".

The second change concerns the subject matter of his program. If earlier in “Let them talk” the social sphere was touched upon, then Nikonova decided to make a political talk show out of the program, which would talk about America, Syria, Ukraine and other countries supplying news. The new format has already been tested - the first issue of "Let them talk" with a new presenter was dedicated to Mikheil Saakashvili. Malakhov, of course, is not at all interested in politics.

Finally, competitors from "Russia" are said to have offered Andrey almost double the salary. And the “best presenter of the country”, as Malakhov was introduced to the “Live broadcast” team, now needs money for diapers, rattles and strollers - at the end of the year he will become a dad.

“Andrey Malakhov is the most important brick in the foundation of Channel One: his talk show under various names has been ranked first in the ratings of the most popular programs in the country for decades. Moscow State University," the host's colleagues from Komsomolskaya Pravda wrote.

Other colleagues of Malakhov considered it possible to comment (albeit on condition of anonymity) of his departure to competitors. “In our party they started talking at the end of last week. Allegedly, Malakhov did not work well with the new producer Natalya Nikonova, who is actively promoting Dmitry Shepelev and his new show “Actually,” said the former editor of Let They Talk.

“Yes, Andrey will not go anywhere. It is possible that he himself started the rumor about his departure in order to put pressure on Ernst: he is trading,” another interlocutor is sure.

“The real reason for Malakhov’s departure to the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company is that for several years he asked Ernst to allow him to produce his own programs. But Konstantin Lvovich sent him ...” a third source shared information.

As they wrote, the news of the transfer of Andrei Malakhov from Channel One to the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company became the loudest news of the television off-season. The VGTRK did not confirm the information about the transfer of the presenter to them, but did not refute it either. “We have all the management on vacation, so this physically cannot happen at the moment,” the company’s press service denied the question.

On Channel One, they decided to add more political topics to Andrey Malakhov's talk show "Let them talk". This was the cause of the conflict, as a result of which the channel threatens to leave its most famous presenter, BBC sources say.

The possible departure of Malakhov from the First at the beginning of the week was reported by RBC. The information was confirmed by three interlocutors of the BBC Russian Service on the channel.

Recently, the presenter had conflicts with the management of the channel, employees of the television company explained in a conversation with the BBC (everyone asked for anonymity, since they are not authorized to communicate with the press).

The problems began in May, when producer Natalya Nikonova returned to the channel, who previously headed the studio for special projects on the First Channel and had already directed, among other things, the production of the Let They Speak show.

In recent years, Nikonova worked as a producer of "Live" on "Russia 1" - a competitor program "Let them talk."

Too much politics

The main thing that caused dissatisfaction with the Malakhov team was the topics that appeared on the program with the arrival of Nikonova.

The show "Let them talk" has always specialized in discussing the social agenda and show business: from "Hawthorn" to the dependence of the host Dana Borisova.

Now, according to two BBC sources, political themes have begun to appear on the program. According to the BBC interlocutor in the television industry, this could be the cause of Malakhov's conflict with the producer.

"Nikonova returned to the First to shake up the socio-political bloc before the presidential elections," the source says.

Several issues of "Let them talk", aired since May, were indeed devoted to politics. For example, on July 10, a program about Oliver Stone and his film about President Vladimir Putin was released.

In the June 27 issue, they talked about the murder of former deputy Denis Voronenkov in Kyiv. Another issue on the same topic was released on July 12 - "Maksakova and Voronenkov: new details of the operation" elimination ".

Topics about politics and politicians are more often discussed at the direct competitor of Malakhov's program, on "Live", where producer Nikonova came from.

While in Malakhov’s studio, program participants are watching funny videos from YouTube (the release of “Childhood burns” on June 1), on “Live” they talk about the age difference between the new French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife (the release of “Unequal Marriage” was released on that same day, June 1).

But, according to data from Mediascope (formerly TNS), political topics are of much less interest to viewers (see graph).

All the changes that are now taking place on Russian television must be viewed through the prism of the upcoming presidential elections, says political analyst Konstantin Kalachev.

"We need some kind of detente, anxiety, phobias and fears must be removed," he believes. "We need the expansion of social optimism, our citizens' social well-being is declining." According to him, as part of the search for a new approach on TV, the appearance of political topics in Malakhov's program is also one of the options for conducting a dialogue with the voter.

Tough propaganda on television needs to be changed, and this should have been done a long time ago, says political scientist Grigory Dobromelov. In his opinion, doing this right before the elections is dangerous for the authorities - any changes bring instability. Dobromelov notes that Malakhov is not a propagandist and has little to do with politics.

"It's more like a drug that a significant part of our fellow citizens are on - if it goes to another channel, they will watch it there too," the political scientist said.

Team conflict

Andrey Malakhov is the most popular TV presenter. The program that he has been running for 16 years (at first it was called "The Big Wash", then "Five Evenings", and finally "Let them talk") is one of the most famous on Russian television. According to Mediascope, almost every week at least one episode of "Let them talk" gets to the top of the rating of the most popular programs.

Russians have included Malakhov himself in the list of representatives of the Russian elite for several years in a row. So, in December 2016, 4% attributed it to representatives of the country's elite (a survey by the Levada Center).

And in 2011-2012, the TV presenter was in the top ten of the elite, along with President Putin, Foreign Minister Lavrov and the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill (VCIOM poll). Moreover, the patriarch lost to Malakhov in popularity.

The TV presenter was dissatisfied with many of the changes that appeared in the program after the change of producer. Nikonova brought with her part of the team, and the program "Let them talk" began to be filmed in a new studio.

“When she arrived, everyone didn’t really understand what was happening. There was no conflict, as such, but everyone tensed up. She did Live on Russia 1. And this is shit. The editors don’t want to do shit,” explains the reasons for the conflict between the editors of the program and Nikonova source from the BBC.

The conflict, which resulted in Malakhov's threat to quit, developed not only because of this, but also because of Nikonova's attitude to the program and the people working on it in general. "She did not take into account that the team was already established," sums up the source of the BBC.

New people are already being tried for Malakhov's position, RBC wrote. Interlocutors of the BBC on Channel One say they have heard about the casting for the position of the presenter. One of the contenders is the current host of "Evening News" Dmitry Borisov. Another candidate is Dmitry Shepelev, who recently began hosting the "Actually" program on the First. Shepelev and Borisov did not confirm this information, but did not refute it either.

Malakhov himself can go to "Russia 1" in "Live", transferring the staff of the talk show "Let them talk" there, RBC claimed. However, the source of the BBC, close to the editors of "Let them talk", claims that so far no one has written a letter of resignation.

TV critic Irina Petrovskaya is sure that the information about Malakhov's departure to the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company is "80% fake." "It's like suggesting that Putin will move from the presidency to work in the Moscow mayor's office," she added. Malakhov is a sane person, Petrovskaya notes, but there is no common sense to leave the First.

The First did not respond to the request of the BBC. The All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company did not confirm or deny the transition of Malakhov. “We have all the leadership on vacation, so this physically cannot happen at the moment,” a representative of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company told RT.

The press secretary of the holding, Victoria Arutyunova, did not answer calls from the BBC correspondent. Nikonova declined to comment on the situation. Malakhov also did not answer calls. His representative declined to comment, saying that Malakhov is on vacation until August 10.

In an interview with GQ magazine in June 2017, Malakhov answered the question in such a way that he could make him leave the First: “Only if they made me fuck a pig live to increase my ratings.”

The presenter, obviously, was referring to the British dystopian series Black Mirror, in one of the episodes of which the terrorists demanded exactly this.

Andrei Malakhov first told Antenna magazine about his departure from Channel One. The TV presenter did not hide the fact that he had a conflict with the leadership.

The first promo video has already appeared on the network, in which Andrei Malakhov announces a show with his participation on Russia 1. It turned out to be the "Live Broadcast" project, which Boris Korchevnikov had previously worked on. According to Malakhov, after he turned 45 last January, he had a real "crisis of the genre." And this applied to absolutely everything.

“Starting with those programs that began to seem secondary: it was already in The Simpsons, and ending with complete dissatisfaction with my position. I was always subordinate. A soldier who follows orders. But I wanted independence. I looked at colleagues: they became producers their programs, they themselves began to make decisions. And suddenly an understanding came: life goes on, and you need to grow, get out of the tight framework, "Malakhov said.

In addition, Malakhov was exhausted by the closure of his favorite studio in Ostankino, where they recorded Let Them Talk. According to rumors, this happened by the decision of Ernst's new deputy, Natalia Nikonova.

“April 25 at 18:45 I was called and told that we were changing the studio and should leave Ostankino. And Ostankino is my second home. It has its own aura, energy. Our team has never changed the studio either. This place "we had strength. We went in and understood what needed to be done. I was left without a home and a familiar atmosphere. And when I saw a new room a thousand meters against our behind-the-scenes two hundred, I realized that this was the point, probably. I just can't pull a studio of this size, " Malakhov said.

This was the last straw for the star of Channel One. "And then they sent me a video of how they disassemble the studio" Let them talk. "I don’t know what to compare what I felt. Probably, if they brought me to the morgue and showed how they dissect a person close to you ... And like this - drop by drop - they burned everything that is expensive, to which I was spiritually attached. Then you understand that you have been building something for so many years and you cannot afford to disappear like this. You understand that a new stage has come. You must close this door, "said Malakhov.

The TV presenter chose not to comment on his conflict with the new producer of "Let them talk" Natalya Nikonova. "Can I keep quiet?" Malakhov said. As a result, he agreed to the proposal of the channel "Russia 1", which gave the presenter greater independence. "And - again, a coincidence - I got a call from the channel" Russia 1 "and offered to become the producer of my own program. A person who will decide for himself what to do, how to conduct and what topics to cover," Malakhov said.
