The former boy from the streets of Gomel has turned into a respectable man in perfect physical shape, whom relatives call a robot. In an interview with Onliner.by, Sergey talks about his own fitness methodology, relationship with Leps, production through bed, and admits that he does not like people.

"Chronicles of a boy from the streets of Gomel" was released in 2008. This was the last album of Seryoga in his then incarnation - a street poet and the voice of the generation of those "who survived in the nineties."

Seven years have passed, and the seriously transformed giant Sergei Parkhomenko was again in the spotlight. Under a slightly transformed pseudonym Seryoga, the musician released two solo albums in six months. He is actively involved in the street rapcore group Shoes Gnu, and recently launched the Polygraph SharikOFF project, which he calls aesthetic. And also his own clothing line, the author's fitness system ... Sergey says that his day is usually scheduled in seconds.

We meet on the terrace of one of the Minsk cafes, he immediately offers to switch to “you”, but at first he reacts sluggishly to questions: his attention is riveted to the phone screen.

- Such a long silence. What was it connected with?

- I worked in the X Factor show for almost five years, and television is such an industry that absorbs you completely. I'm tired, to be honest, and I wanted to take a break. At some point, I just switched to something else. That is, I wrote songs, but for other people - I wrote and gave them, I didn’t even sell them. You heard my compositions, you just didn't understand that I was behind it.

- Apparently, you are tired of the old repertoire?

- I got tired of the old repertoire much earlier than I stopped my concert activity and started my TV career.

- To be honest: "Black Boomer" infuriates?

- No, he's not annoying. This is the hit of all times and peoples[Sergey laughs, everyone around too. - Approx. Onliner.by] . Infuriates the reaction of people, it sometimes infuriates. It infuriates how people are not ready to experience with you. They just want to celebrate life: burn it, have fun for no reason. It infuriates how people are mostly small, shallow and simple. It pisses me off how easy it is to get everyone off the hook and how hard it is to make them think.

- And how to make a person think?

- A person must be capable of this, tuned in to a certain wave. If not, then only life itself will force him. If something happens, he will start looking for support and realize that there were people who thought and felt the same way, but then he did not care.

- You recently released two solo albums, judging by the intonation, very personal. Has something happened in your life?

- Life happened. And there is nothing more serious than life and death. It so happened that a person who has always felt very deeply and subtly, lived to be 38 years old and brought all the everyday life that happens to him to the public. Because that's how he feels. And I am aware that no one needs it: this is not commerce, and the audience for these two albums is very small. But I still do it. In order not to get sick - this is such self-therapy.

- Why now?

- And when? It accumulated and began to come out of me. I wrote compositions for other artists, but in the end I realized that they could not convey the emotions that the author put into the song, so I began to perform them myself again. This is if we talk about the Seryoga project.

“Polygraph SharikOFF” is also me, but a completely different part and facet of me. What to tell about him? I think that the height of skill is to write funny, hooligan songs when you feel bad. Everyone can write sad songs in a minor key, it is much more difficult to triumph over one’s own pain, and to triumph sincerely and without throwing dust in people’s eyes, but with a smile and a tear in their eyes to say: “Yes, this is fucking life. But as long as we are alive, we will have fun, we will have fun.

This is an aesthetic project, it is by no means for plankton. This is not Potap and Nastya, who invent words, bark like dogs - treat us like insects. This is not Cord, throwing on himself a huge charisma, which he imbued in St. Petersburg. Is he a bearer of it on a human level? I highly doubt it. It seems to me that this is a very modest and quiet person with two higher educations. I see nothing hooligan in him: a small, twisted man. "Polygraph SharikOFF" is something else. This is such a gypsy with an exit that people have been waiting for a long time. Especially for this project, I developed a clothing line, I sew it myself: vests, eight-piece caps - everything is very serious.

And "Shoes Wildebeest" appeared six months before the events in Ukraine. It all happened at the level of anticipation - I can't explain myself otherwise why such songs, why such cartoons. The accumulated rage, animal malice, wild testosterone impulse dictated such a musical form.

You always underestimated me, you always saw some kid in a cap and were surprised when I suddenly began to speak German, you were surprised when I showed amazing athletic shape. You were always surprised at everything just because I somehow looked. In life, everything is completely different.

- But as?

- I do not even know. You must understand one thing: I am the wind. The wind, changing every day, does not change itself. For some, this is a light breeze, for some, a hot southern monsoon, and for some, a hurricane. I can be every one of them, but right now I'm a hurricane.

- You once said that Mikhalok is a good clown, and you are an evil one.

- And there is. In any case, Mikhalok is a kind clown, no matter what he sings, no matter how he swears. And you just need to say to yourself: “Yes, I am kind. It's cool to be kind." It seems to me that things would have been much better for him if he had not given up on this. However, it's up to him.

- And where does this anger come from?

- It's just that I'm weaker than him: the good ones are always stronger. And I don't really like people. People are not perfect, and this imperfection infuriates me about them. I kind of understand Byron, who wrote the poem "Prometheus". This is a situation where a person challenges the sky every time, and the sky makes him suffer, be even stronger, and he must live and constantly compete with his desire to be better and become like a deity. This human nature is tormented by the spirit and pulled upwards, these terrible swings are a constant source of pain and irritation, but they give rise to a constant desire to move forward. It just pushes you to do big things.

- Are you doing everything right now?

- You can say that. This is, of course, difficult. I think that I already need to open some kind of reality show so that the camera just follows me and shows what an ordinary person is doing.

- What does he do?

- Close people say that I am a robot. I don’t even remember the last time I was sick: everything bounces off me. I sleep a few hours a day, train many times a day, manage complex cases - my day is scheduled in seconds, I instantly make difficult decisions. I only talked about musical projects. But there is also fightclub99 - this is my own fitness system, which I launch on October 1 in Ukraine and will try to distribute to other territories. This is a challenge to all fitness clubs and the sports industry: I guarantee a person that in 99 sports hours I will get him in shape, teach him how to eat right, train and promise that he will not get any injuries. Moreover, all this is written at the level of the contract: if I fail to fulfill the promise, then I return the money to the person. According to statistics, only 30% of people who buy a gym membership achieve acceptable results by the end of the second year - everyone else quits. No one in such places gives a guarantee that you will not get injured, and a personal trainer is not interested in you achieving results in the shortest possible time, because you will immediately stop going to him. I tell people the truth. We do not get hooked on any chemicals or products from specific manufacturers, it's just "Spartan" food that you can buy at any store and cook yourself. A person who passes my system will be able to eat right and train for the rest of his life without a personal trainer.

- In just three months?

- Three whole months - 90 workouts for 66 minutes. This is enough to transform a person.

- In the framework of such employment, three full-fledged musical projects - is it a feasible burden?

- And who said that I strive to develop them fully? I just do it the way it works. "Shoes Gnu", for example, lay for a long time, and many songs are still lying - I could release two albums at once. “SharikOFF” also began to be written at the last moment, with Seryoga I generally took a break for a while. I just live, I'm creative, and I feel good. But am I doing everything commercially correctly ... I am a bad businessman: I have always had a very easy attitude towards money.

- You used to produce artists.

- Helped them. The producer must be somewhat immoral, pragmatic and tough person. For example, I never met the girls I worked with, but I had to: sometimes in order to bind a woman, you need to sleep with her. And in 99% of cases it does. I did not apply sanctions, rigidly regulating relations with the artist, did not demand the return of expenses. Just letting people go. It's easier for me to give free advice. Why sign a contract? If you are destined to be an artist, you will be. And I have my tasks, my flock. And no matter what I do, I will still try to raise the bar for the audience.

And often this bar is lowered - this is what the above-mentioned artists do. Come on, let's swear, it's cool! And you try to make it so that it is evil and sharp, but without a mat. You know poetry by heart, you read it to Akhmatov, Tsvetaeva, you have two higher educations, and one of them is theological, and you are pretending to be a marginal. Why are you barking? What is this song anyway? Who do they take us for? I feel sorry for the people who applaud this. You will say: “Yes, he is just jealous of their success!” I swear no. I feel ashamed for them and for the people who like it. We have such a rich musical history! If we talk about urban romance, then these are Leonid Utyosov, Arkady Severny, Bulat Okudzhava, Vladimir Vysotsky - there are a lot of examples so as not to slide into obscenity.

- Previously, you were called the most famous Belarusian rapper, now this title has passed to Max Korzh.

- Sooner or later, everything goes to someone: women, money, diseases. I'm happy for Max: he has a cool song "Live in high". And in general, Max is cool, he assembled the Arena. I wish him to quickly get rid of the bonds of production and earn his own apartment[laughs. - Approx. Onliner.by] .

- Don't you miss big venues yourself? Are you planning big concerts?

- Well, how can you plan this? I dont know. Maybe no one will come at all.

- I think you're lying.

- Why? It doesn't work like this: lyrics and mathematics are mutually exclusive. At the moment when the song is written and you make the arrangement, mathematics turns on, but initially there is only an impulse and anguish. Everything happens to me in this way - it cannot be calculated. People might have come to the Polygraph SharikOFF concert, but after reading this interview, they will think: “God, what an asshole.” And only the sound engineer, my friends and customers who have flown in will be on the site.

Concert magnetism is a thing that cannot be predicted. There are absolutely uninteresting artists, but they are killed for them, they go to their concerts. I now, of course, about Grigory Leps. Grisha begged me to write rap for him. It's true. I was the person who dissuaded him. We were sitting in the same room, hung with icons, and suddenly Timati comes in. And Grisha says: “Timofey, come in!” Timothy hesitated so immediately. And Grisha told him: “Well, you brought a song there, but show me!” And he did not want to show me. It was the song "I'm going to live in London." Thunder me, that's how it was! In the end what? It turned out this imperishable. I don't know where, but definitely not in London. What is the point? We envy them, we watch how they perform in large halls, but they probably want something else. Grisha now dreams of being an independent, impoverished rapper in bondage with a producer.

Sergei Vasilyevich Parkhomenko was born on October 8, 1976 in Gomel. The only child in the family grew diligent, was the pride of his parents. From childhood he was interested in music. He did not finish music courses, where his parents sent him. However, he left school with a silver medal.

2004 - Serega recorded his debut album, which was sold under various names. In Ukraine and Belarus, the release was called "My Yard: Weddings and Funerals." The material was warmly received.

But Sergei did not stop there. The plans were to conquer Russian show business, so it changes its name to "My Yard: Sports ditties." To speed up his progress, rapper Seryoga shoots clips for the best songs.

Among all the songs, the audience liked "Black Boomer" the most, it becomes an instant hit, it is broadcast on radio and TV. All music hit parades of that time began with this song.

2005 - rapper Serega creates the KingRing label, whose tasks were to attract and promote young musicians, record material and sell it. The label contained several projects, among which one can find such a rapper as ST. Still new to rap, the label provided collective assistance in the professional recording of his songs. However, ST leaves, arguing that his music does not fit into the label's established team.

The label had its own Internet resources and even a boutique in Kyiv.

2007 - Serega begins cooperation with Rockstar Games. He allows his KingRing track to be used in the official GTA IV trailer. And also records a new song about the formation of a Russian person in the United States. The track can be heard during the game.

2010 - rapper Seryoga is judging the show "X-factor Ukraine". Shared experience and produced the following teams:

• Collectives (2010);
• "Over twenty-five";
• "Guys" (2012);
• "Girls" (2013).

2014 - three Sergeys participate in the creation of a side project "Gnu Shoes". This project differed from all others in its focus on the genre: rapcore and hardcore. The team consisted of Sergeev Parkhomenko, Sakal and Kuzmenkov. At the end of autumn, their first creation, “Ready for Labor and Defense,” comes out. And also a feature of the project was that each song was accompanied by an animation clip.

Polygraph Sharikov

The rapper Seryoga has been nurturing this project in his head for a long time. And there were even preparations of songs, but it was inappropriate to post them under the name Seryoga. Polygraph's songs are distinguished by a more cheerful mood, they have a place for humor and positive. It's not quite a different genre anymore. If we identify this project with some particular genre of music, we can say that this is a chanson.

Serega himself finds similarities between himself and the character in Bulgakov's book. And he says that if he had not been deep and serious throughout his conscious life, he would certainly have turned into such a person.

Criticism of the new school of rap

In 2017, after a lull of two years, Seryoga returned. And how! In April, the clip "Antifreeze" is released, the video sequence of which was made in the style of the sensational video "Ice is melting" from the group "Mushrooms". The text component was filled with references not only to this group. "King of the Ring" went through many modern rappers, because it is not a specific rapper that is criticized, but the very image of a young rapper who came to music only for fame and money.

Personal life of rapper Seryoga

Seryoga's relationship with girls was always in full swing. One fine day, he begins dating Cuban model Daimy Morales. It was with her that the first marriage took place in the biography of rapper Seryoga. Then the musician lived in Ukraine, and the Cuban moved to him. Marriage life with a representative of a different mentality did not last long. Soon the couple divorced. However, the Cuban continued to live in Ukraine.

The next marriage took place with a certain Polina. In this union, Seryoga had two sons - Mark (2009) and Plato (2012).

Sergey Parkhomenko, better known to the general public as rapper Seryoga, was born in the Republic of Belarus on October 8, 1976. Seryoga spent his childhood and school years in his hometown Gomel. In Germany, Seryoga devoted five years of study to the study of such disciplines as economics and political science. In parallel with his studies, he was fond of writing songs and music. Such a hobby led to the fact that Sergey began to look for like-minded people among his friends and acquaintances to create a joint creative musical union.

In Germany, Sergey's first rap track was recorded together with the German artist Azad. After graduating from his studies, Sergey returned to his homeland with the conviction to continue the path of a rap artist. Already in 2003, a rather well-known song was recorded in the musical arsenal of Sergei Parkhomenko - “Ruined Lyalya”. In the winter of 2004, Seryoga first appears on Ukrainian television. In the same year, Seryoga released an album called “My Yard: Weddings and Funerals”, which very quickly conquered the Ukrainian and Belarusian music markets, and soon appeared in Russia under the slightly changed name “My Yard. The famous "Black Boomer"

The year 2004 in the life of the singer Seryoga became significant thanks to such an event as the creation of the famous hit "Black Boomer", which was not heard except by the deaf, and the recording of a video clip for this musical composition in Kyiv.

The song "Black Boomer" with its appearance on radio stations and music channels produced the effect of an exploding bomb, its popularity was so great that it was quickly nominated for the MTV Russian Music Awards in two categories at once. In 2006, one of the well-known musical compositions of rapper Seryoga appeared on TV channels and radio stations under the name "Chalk of Fate" ("Tamerlane's Song"), which was recorded for the movie "Day Watch", which was very popular in those years. Seryoga is known not only to people who are interested in musical novelties and rap compositions, but also to a large number of fans of the GTA 4 computer game, in which Seryoga's songs such as Liberty City: The Invasion and King Ring were played. In 2010, Sergey first tried himself as a jury member in the famous TV project "X-factor Ukraine", where he also happened to take on the duties of producer of the musical team "Collectives", in 2011 the team "Over twenty-five", in 2012 - the team "Guys", and in 2013 a team called "Girls". Over the long years of his creative musical journey, Seryoga managed to work with quite famous performers, such as Bianca, St1m, Satsura, Max Lawrence and some others. In his musical career, significant changes are currently taking place regarding the style of performance and the image of the singer himself. Seryoga's texts become more mature and meaningful than at the beginning of the singer's career.

Internal changes in Seryoga have also received their external reflection - the singer is gradually changing the style of clothing, removing some tattoos and is seriously interested in sports. After the creative crisis of 2012-2013, Seryoga returns to the music industry again to prove to the fans of his work that he does not intend to give up and is full of strength for new victories and creating new musical masterpieces. In early autumn 2014, Seryoga plans to release an album called "50 SHADES OF GRAY", which will contain songs with a specific emotional background and a special deep meaning from the "reborn" Seryoga. In addition to the career of a rap artist, Seryoga also tries himself as a movie actor. Almost simultaneously with the release of the musical album "50 SHADES OF GRAY", viewers will be able to get acquainted with the film "Gaggio" (in gypsy "foreign"), where Seryoga will play the main role.

Seryoga's personal life

At the moment, the performer Seryoga is officially in the status of “not married”, but behind him there is one unfinished marriage with the famous model Daimy Morales. The fact that Seryoga is not married does not prevent him from being a happy father of two sons Mark (born in 2009) and Plato (born in 2011) from his Ukrainian girlfriend Polina.

An awkward question - and either he will send him to distant distances, or he will get up and leave.

- Sergey, why did you suddenly turn from a rapper into a fitness trainer?

It's all nonsense. I am no coach. For example, in the “Weighted People” project, I am a senior friend, guide, mentor - anyone, but not a coach.

- What's wrong with the usual name of the profession?

I'll tell you what I mean. I have so much energy that it is looking for an outlet in different forms. All my roles exist in parallel. And there are many. Most people just don't see it or don't want to see it. For the last two or three years, I have been actively reading scientific literature, getting myself and others in shape, learning to eat right, developing personal training, and at the same time songs, albums, and videos were born.

- Participants of the "Weighted people" call you none other than Prometheus. Why?

Do not take everything I say as the ravings of an urban madman, but for many centuries we have strived to be like Prometheus. The same cousin of Zeus, who stole fire from the gods from Olympus and transferred it to people. In the show, I was given this nickname because I don't divide people into weak and strong. If you set tasks correctly and distribute the load, the weak can become strong and reach the goal faster than they think. If you give him the very "divine fire".

- Did someone help you from a spark to kindle a flame?

- Creative individuals themselves look for this fire in themselves, processing any experience into songs, drawings, poems ...

And they find it when they create great creations. But after the creations appear to the world, the divine remains divine, and man again becomes man. And his consciousness sits on a painful twine. You need to come to terms with the fact that on the one hand you are great, you can do a lot, on the other hand, you are insignificant and weak. You need to eat, admit to yourself that you are getting old. I felt this Prometheus drama firsthand after I wrote Black Boomer.

POLYGRAPH SHARIKOFF

- It was a cool car. I wonder where that “black boomer” from the clip is now?

Seems to have rotted away somewhere in a landfill. This is a '91 car, and it's unlikely to run.

- Why did you decide to dedicate a song to her?

We were sitting in the kitchen with the wonderful Belarusian musician Stanislav Satsura (he, by the way, like me, from Gomel) and we had, so to speak, an act of creativity.

- Sergey, children read us!

It's about something else! Something came out of nothing. In that year, the film of the wonderful director Pyotr Buslov "Boomer" was released, and the waves from it diverged everywhere. I felt them. There was an idea that you can come up with an appropriate song, and it will bring success. He said to Stas: “I bet I’ll write a song, it will be called“ Black Boomer ”and will blow everyone up!” And so it happened.

- Well, did you drive a Boomer? The film featured the "seven" BMW, if I'm not mistaken.

No. But there was another model - BMW-850. And now I have an Aston Martin. Always gravitated towards the British classics. In everything. They have the best sense of style.

At first there was a simple Seryoga, then it became SERYOGA, then you got tired of solo swimming and you organized the Gnu Shoes group. But most of all questions are raised by another image of yours - Polygraph SharikOFF. Do you identify yourself with the character of Bulgakov's "Heart of a Dog"?

Are you surprised? And do you know that I would have been if I had not been so deep and serious (winks). Polygraph SharikOFF - this one has never been a rap. This is a different genre. These are funny songs to the accordion, chanson, urban romance - in general, there is music that the parents of those who listen to rap love.

Small homeland

WHO IS HAPPY IS RIGHT

- Let's return to "Weighted people". The heaviest of them is in your team. He weighs 250 kilograms. Is it much more difficult for him than for others?

Yes. At this weight, it is generally dangerous to live. The metabolism is not active. It hurts to walk, breathe, urinate. This guy might wake up one day, get out of bed and hurt himself. There is practically no chance of surviving to forty years.

- Passions what! Is there a product that can completely ruin it?

Any nutritionist will say that sweets are not allowed, but I will answer: you can. True, we need to understand what we mean by this concept. Sugar does not equal sweet. Sugar was invented by man. This is a product of industrial production, which is not absorbed by the body. Cause of disease, aging, early care. Sugar is much more harmful than alcohol. Eat fruits, natural honey, and they will provide you with that sweet taste that leads to the release of dopamine, endorphin or serotonin. Clean water, of course, should be drunk. I recommend at least two liters a day. Apart from food. On the other hand, ask yourself the question: are you happy? If so, then no matter how harmful you live, do not change anything in your life! “Whoever is happy is right,” said Leo Tolstoy. Let's trust the classics.

- Do you miss your native Gomel?

I left there over twenty years ago. A lot has changed since then. Now Gomel is a children's country for me. Small, fabulous. It was a completely different person. He resembles me only in his eyes, but he lived and trembled differently. Sergey Parkhomenko was born in 1976 in Gomel in a family of engineers.
