Selected clips with Apache Crew dancers. Dance group "The First Crew SI: What styles of dance would you like to master more

Apache Crew, the most fashionable dance crew in the country, has gone from appearing on a TV show to creating a theater.

“Feel your partner! Where is the passion? Where is the sex? This is how Anatoly Sachivko, choreographer and founder of Apache Crew, “educates” his wards. Music is booming in the Dside dance studio on Lybidskaya: thirty people are rehearsing here today - most of the Apache Crew. It's hot in the hall, sportswear, sneakers, gymnastic mats are everywhere. The guys are preparing a performance for Eurovision: to the music written especially for them, they put on a mini-performance about street youth to show everyone how they dance on the streets of Kyiv. The tall blue-eyed Anatoly demands passion from the dancers - there is no way on the streets without it. There is more than enough passion in the next scene, when the guys are rehearsing a street fight: the guys “fly” around the hall with a wild cry, the girls dance in front of them. Urgently want to start dancing nearby.

“My like-minded people should not be like me. It's boring when everyone dances the same way"

The whole country knows Apache Crew: they are the stars of the clips of Jamala, Monatik, the Bahroma group and other artists. Sachivko's friendship with Jamala began back in 2015 on the set of the video "Get lost", and last year Jamala entrusted him with shooting the video for the song "1944", which brought her victory at Eurovision. They went to the Carpathians, to the abandoned Pamir radar station high in the mountains, on the border with Romania, and there they shot a video about a certain tribe in which an accident happened. Filmed in June, and from +30 ° C the temperature suddenly dropped to +9: it started to rain, the roads were washed out - Jamala says that these were the most difficult shootings in her life. But the Apache Crew dancers did not lose their heads: hungry and cold, in wet clothes, they danced in the rain for three days as if nothing had happened. “It’s a pity, we didn’t have rehearsals,” Anatoly recalls. “I saw Jamala already in the frame, but there is plenty of energy in her, so the shooting went off with a bang.”

There are fifty people in the Apache Crew troupe, everyone has their own story: Dmitry Schebet, the winner of the Russian show "Dancing with the Stars", moved to Kyiv from Kazakhstan specifically for Apache Crew, and Maria Kozlova from Samara combines team work with master classes and tours throughout the CIS. Everyone works in different styles: Twitter, for example, dances only break-dance, Kozlova - waking. “When choosing a team, I knew for sure: my like-minded people should not be like me. It’s boring when everyone dances the same way,” Sachivko explains.

Anatoly is sure that a great dancer is a free dancer. From the age of four he was engaged in folk dances, and then, as often happens when you are 14, there was an “internal rebellion” - and he went into modern dance. In the Kyiv dance studio Myway, he tried dozens of genres - "to loosen up and become more flexible." At the age of 19, he got on the show “Dance All” on the STB channel, where he danced everything enchantingly - from jazz and rock and roll to waltz and rumba. He became a finalist, received several offers from STB producers - but he refused everyone, because "I don't like to adapt to the audience." Gathered the best dancers and in 2014 founded the Apache Crew, a dance team that instantly became the most fashionable in the country. The guys are filming in advertising campaigns for Ukrainian brands (last year, for example, they participated in the Syndicate Original promo video, and a month ago - in the Litkovskaya campaign), go on tour with musicians, choreograph for Ukrainian artists. But this, Anatoly is sure, is not the limit. “I want something more complicated than learning the choreography and repeating it for a month on tour.”

"A cool dancer is a free dancer"

Therefore, today Apache Crew has two tasks: to open its own theater and develop performing arts in Ukraine. This year Anatoly Sachivko and Apache Crew staged two performances - Megapolis and This Is Jazz Jam - and traveled all over Ukraine with them. But the performances need a base, and now the main thing is to find a room for the theater, where the Apache Crew will start rehearsing a new performance, the premiere of which is promised to be shown this year.

The dance group The First Crew is organized on the basis of the modern choreography school The First Dance Studio in Belgorod. For eight years, the team has achieved great success. During its activity, it has become one of the strongest technical teams in the CIS, and has also demonstrated its high skill at the world level. In 2014, The First Crew went beyond the borders of Russia and Europe, as all major All-Russian and European competitions were won, and took part in the world's largest competition among professional teams "Body Rock Dance Competition" (USA, California). The organizers each year select only 15 teams from around the world by viewing applications with videos. The Belgorod team The First Crew successfully passed the selection and became the first in the history of the competition to represent our country at this event. In April 2015, The First Crew took part in the World of Dance international competition, which took place in Berlin, where they became the winner. Thus, having received the opportunity to reach the final, which was held in California in August of the same year. Since travel was too expensive, the team postponed the trip and could not take part. The team has more than 50 victories in prestigious competitions. Participants conduct their own master classes. Under the auspices of the team, a dance festival is regularly held, which is called Beat Street. At the moment, we are included in the 5 most powerful teams of the Russian Federation among all dance styles, and we are the most famous team in the direction of modern choreography. The skill of the team was highly appreciated and we were invited as the best Russian team in our field to participate in the show "Everybody Dance" on the federal channel "Russia 1". 11 unique teams of different dance styles were selected from all Russian groups to participate in the project. Groups that are able to surprise and masterfully speak the language of dance. The First Crew team became the leader and finalist of the TV show “Everybody Dance”, adequately representing the city, the region and the entire Black Earth region. In addition to improving and developing their own skills, representing the region and the city at Russian and international competition sites, the dance group "The First Crew" sets itself, among other things, solving social problems by popularizing and attracting talented youth to dance and lead a healthy lifestyle and is ready to cooperate with schools and secondary and higher educational institutions. Currently, the team is implementing a project to develop the school of modern choreography "The First Dance Studio". For the formation of this direction, it is necessary to develop infrastructure and create branches in the city for the productive work of a dance studio, in which the best choreographers of the team will teach the younger generation. The activities of the dance group fully comply with the Fundamentals of the State Youth Policy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025, the achievement of the goals of which is associated with the implementation of measures to: - involve young people in creative activities, support young artists, as well as talented youth engaged in modern types of creativity and without special education; - popularization of people who have achieved outstanding success in their professional activities; - expanding the network of youth, physical culture and sports, military-patriotic and computer clubs, libraries, art circles and other organizations accessible to young people; - improvement of the system of encouragement and motivation of talented youth. Achievements of the team from 2009 to 2017: 2017: - winners in the "Deserved Triumph" nomination - Finalists of the TV show "Everybody Dance" on the channel "Russia" 2016: - winners of the "Move Forward Dance Contest" competition (Moscow), - two-time winners of the Megapolis competition (Belgorod, Voronezh) 2015: - winners of the World Of Dance Germany competition (Berlin), - winners of the "Move Forward Dance Contest" competition (Moscow), - winners of the "Volga Champ" 2015 III competition in the BEST SHOW JUNIORS nomination, - silver medalists of the competition "Volga Champ" 2015 III in two categories: BEST HIP-HOP SHOW and BEST JAZZ FUNK SHOW (Nizhny Novgorod), - winners of the competition "Volga Champ" 2015 IV in two categories: BEST HIP-HOP SHOW and BEST JAZZ FUNK SHOW (Nizhny Novgorod), - winners of the "Moving Star" Dance Competition (Yaroslavl) 2014: - finalists of the world's largest competition among professional teams "Body Rock Dance Competition" (USA, California), - winners of the SHOW M competition E WATCH YOU GOT in two categories (St. Petersburg). 2013: - winners of the "Move Forward Dance Contest" competition (Moscow), - winners of the Project818 competition (Moscow), - - winners of the UDC OPEN CUP competition (Moscow), - winners of the Full Out Urban Festival competition (Moscow), - silver medalists of the competition Project 818 (Moscow), - silver medalists of the Tver Street Jam competition (Tver). 2012: - winners of the Grand Prix of the competition "HIP-HOP ON THE STAGE" (Moscow). 2011: - winners of the Grand Prix of the "HIP-HOP ON THE STAGE" competition (Moscow), - winners of the UDS FEST 9 competition (Kharkov) 2010: - winners of the UDS FEST 8 competition (Kharkov). 2009: - silver medalists of the UDS FEST 7 competition (Kharkiv).

The creative association, consisting of 30 original dancers-artists, has already managed to fall in love with the Ukrainian audience, including thanks to the joint work with Jamala in the video clip. Under the direction of the choreographer, the dancers staged the play "Megapolis", with which they successfully tour Ukraine, Apache CREW was also named the "Best Team of the Country", "Discovery of the Year" according to the Myway Dance Awards in 2014 and are also winners of the championship "The Challenge" in 2015. In an interview with Style Insider, the members of Apache CREW reminisced about school discos, their most memorable performances, and shared the emotions that everyone puts into their movements.

Maxim Kot

SI: How did you get into dancing?

Max: Once, from a disco in the 31st school, we came to the front door to try the first “footwork” and “turtle”. It was the year 2000, we still had beer hops and cellar cockroaches with us then. Disco tricks inspired more than wrestling and horizontal bars. All sports hobbies were scored in favor of the "lower break" (then it was called that). Next - the classic scheme: video cassettes with recordings of world festivals, the first Kyiv battles and off we go.

?

Max:"Cat". Or “so, we start the rehearsal of the performance from the beginning” (the first act in the play “Megapolis” begins with me).

Max: Many people call it “experimental dance”. In general, with each of my workouts it’s getting harder, and it’s harder to call it dancing. 'Performance', 'actionism', 'bodily practice' - these are more and more flattering concepts for me.

Max: I don't know how to dance, in the usual sense for people. That is, I am as oaky in repeating the movements of others as a novice forester, to whom a bear stepped on his ear. In my quasi-reality, dance is a sensation and bodily reproduction of rhythm. And the rhythm is everywhere: from the beating of the heart to the ticking of the clock of melting time. That is, I practically don’t dance the choreography of others. At performances or in breaking circles, depending on the purpose of the dance, I can do my own exit or freestyle with my worked out tricks. There is a full bodily expression - this is a very powerful state that can open. But this, at times, is not very aesthetically pleasing, not for photosets.

?

Max: I do not participate in all productions of Apache, so I don't speak with the team very often. The most memorable performance: after the play “Megapolis” in Odessa, on a pitch-black night, black as our raincoats, on the dismantled summer terrace of a deserted beach cafe, the Cuban Xavi, a participant in the performance, played Cuban songs on the guitar to the sounds of the restless sea. This performance by Apache CREW had no audience.

Max:Tolik. I so want to talk about his capriciousness, if not for one BUT: a man is led by a tremendous noble dream. And all his whims automatically turn into strong-willed efforts in order to achieve a dream. And everything works out. Those who worked closely with him will understand what I mean. Ptashnik— simplicity, depth, and beard. Galya- an excellent performer, "Vikonavcha Vlada" Apache CREW. Nastya- the most experienced artist among us, on stage, like a fish in water, thanks to her for inspiration, she has powerful energy. Anya- an introvert in a creative search. Masha- devoted her life to dancing, gave herself all to this craft, a fanatic with whom she dances; and somehow brought me to chess, with a score of 2:1, is not it a shame? Roma- charisma (this word applies only to guys), excessive ambition, which is quite in harmony with his realized deeds. Lisa- a talented person with a huge credit of trust in himself, a citizen of the world. Twitter- cool, he has the image of such a vulnerable gifted psycho; and hell, it's not an image, it's what it is.

Max: Screenwriter.

Max: In my case, I want to say not about the dance. I want to try my hand at directing, mountaineering, kiting, moto-standriding. And more and more thoughtfulness, investing essence in every movement. And judge would twerk (laughs).

Max: Energy. Whoever tells you: “dance for yourself” is lying to you. Dancers are self-centered people. Beautiful, narcissistic - they take a lot of attention, popularity and even idolization from dancing. I want to wish the dancers more to give than to receive. Choreographers from TV - less tragedy, more individuality. And then this sadness and universality of yours erased individualism. That, for the sake of which many, in fact, come to dance. Beginners: invent and work out chips, and not look at the floor.

Max: For me, dancing is one of a million ways to realize my ideas. Good form, a lot of people listen to it. Dance is natural.

Max: Detours. Their video of 2000 changed my attitude towards creativity in dance. We looked at it with the team somewhere in 2005, if I'm not mistaken. They were way ahead of their time. I am also inspired by people, movements that are impossible to repeat because of the super complexity (there is a concept in the dance “2 hard 2 bite” - it’s hard to steal). Breaking movers, flexible or inventive guys. I am happy that with many of them, world artists, I was able to meet personally.

Max: He would star in a movie about the military or in mysticism. I enjoy playing in any project of the Sachivko-tandem (the creators of many videos from Apache CREW). I would write the script for the clip "Brutto". I would have died in the old Soviet depot in the video from "Carriage Drivers". I would have quarreled on the set with Aphex Twin. Well, the ultimate dream is the music video of the Chemical Brothers collaboration. Have you seen the latest clip?

Lisa Ryabinina

SI: How did you get into dancing?

Lisa: I got into dancing through dance videos. I was very fond of them and often watched. I dreamed that one day I could dance like that. A couple of years later, she enrolled in a dance studio.

SI: What are you called in the team?

Lisa: I don't have a nickname, and, I confess, I'm very glad about it. I love it when people are called by their first names.

SI: How can you describe your style?

Lisa: I do not even know. Never thought about it. In my dances I pay a lot of attention to isolation and consistency.

SI: Do you prefer to dance prepared choreography or freestyle?

Lisa: Both this and that. Definitely. I think you have to be able to do both choreography and good freestyle. These two things are very deeply interconnected and cannot exist without each other.

SI: What a performance with Apache CREWyou remember the most?

Lisa: Apache CREW at "Everybody Dance-6" as invited guests. It was my first performance with the team, and one of the most significant events in my dance career.

SI: Describe in three words each member of the team?

Lisa: I have mad respect for every dancer, everyone has something to learn. I won’t paint for a long time, but I think these people have one thing in common - a sense of self. In a sense, a sense of your space, dance, your thoughts and understanding of your actions.

Lisa: I would love to play some minor role, but very memorable to the viewer. Some bright character with little airtime.

SI: What styles of dance would you like to learn more?

Lisa: I would say top rock, krump and flying low technique. The styles are very different and almost unrelated. But they are very interesting and informative.

SI: What do you think is the most important thing for a dancer?

Lisa: I think this “the main thing for a dancer” is different for everyone. Someone makes a bias on the physical form, someone on the technique, someone on the character. In addition, for everyone this “main thing” manifests itself in different ways. It turns out that, as such, the “main common” for all dancers simply does not exist.

SI: Is dancing a vocation or a hobby for you?

Lisa: This is not a hobby, but I don’t want to throw loud words that this is my calling. This is my creative activity. This is my self-expression. These are my thoughts.

SI: Do you have an idol among dancers?

Lisa: When I first started dancing, there were many idols. After a while, I realized that I should not be equal to anyone. There is a path, and it is much more interesting than the path of an idol or some famous dancer.

Lisa: Always wanted to work with Justin Timberlake. His music has been close to him since childhood. In general, there are many performers with whom I would like to work. I hope it does. Let's see how things turn out.

Roman Chukhmanenko

SI: How did you get into dancing?

Novel: It all started with Khreshchatyk. And street dancing. It was those guys who inspired me, with their party, their passion and inner state, which was transmitted to the viewer in full measure. It was all in the year 2007. Soon I got to the championship for the pros and definitely decided that I would dance, seeing what human possibilities were revealed right in front of my eyes. Then I thought that being able to do something like that was like being some kind of superhero.

SI: What are you called in the team?

Novel: There are a couple of nicknames, depending on the situation and my behavior. "Gangster" and "moral fighter".

SI: How can you describe your style?

Novel: What I do can be described as follows: it is a synthesis of street styles, based on breaking. This is a kind of fusion, which includes the entire base of my body movement, from isolations to acrobatics, in different planes and levels.

SI: Do you prefer to dance prepared choreography or freestyle?

Novel: My initial attitude to dance is, of course, its Freedom! You live in real time, anything can happen at any moment, and "given circumstances" give mail to express yourself. That is, I am more inclined towards freestyle, but the choreography is definitely not an aspect that has been revealed to me. When I get the opportunity to learn someone else's form or come up with my own form, this is an experience, especially since I am often surrounded by those dancers whose form it is interesting to adopt and feel.

SI: What a performance with Apache CREWyou remember the most?

Novel: I remember a couple of performances. This is our demo for the play "Megapolis", which we danced for the first time at the "Feel The Beat" festival, if I'm not mistaken, a year ago! And the number that we made in 2 days took first place with him at the festival "The Challenge", creating a kind of "party" on the stage, in which, like in every our number, there are a lot of storylines! It was easy, fun, and a little crazy. And, of course, the first appearance on stage with our performance at the Kiev Musical Theatre. A lot of work and effort, sleepless nights, nerves ... Coming on stage with all this - the feelings were unforgettable!

SI: Describe in three words each member of the team?

Novel: I do not want to talk about anyone in particular, but there is something. And space, and open souls, an endless supply of energy, strength, stubbornness, experience, air, fire. People gradually, as they communicate, reveal themselves, and each of the above qualities is present in each of us to some extent.

SI: If you were to act in a film about dance, what role would you ideally suit?

Novel: It so happened that quite recently I had a chance to act in a movie - the first Ukrainian full-length dance action, in the main role of an antagonist. I really like the role, our characters are similar with the hero. But the stories and situations in life are different, which did not stop me from playing the capital's major, which, however, is cool not only thanks to parental money, but also succeeded a lot. My hero is not at all interested in other people's problems and troubles, thinking only about himself and his goals. By coincidence, he has some kind of enlightenment, a kind of repentance. The film will be released in 2016 under the name "Let's dance".

SI: What styles of dance would you like to learn more?

Novel: I don’t stop there, it’s just that having gained initial experience, I stopped learning “styles”, but began to develop the capabilities of the body, which can lead me into the most unpredictable styles and sub-styles.

SI: What do you think is the most important thing for a dancer?

Novel: The main features of any creative person, as for me, are purposefulness, willpower, self-discipline, the ability to listen, the ability to express, to be open to new things, to be able to stand your ground, and, in the end, faith in what you are doing. If we talk about the physical form, then for me the truth is in the phrase "In a healthy body - a healthy mind."

SI: Is dancing a vocation or a hobby for you?

Novel: For me, dancing is self-development. This is one of those things that opened my eyes to the world, one of the levers that takes me to a new level as a person. My activity is not limited to dancing, but it is definitely an integral part of my life! As the elders of breaking once said, "there are no former b-boys."

SI: Do you have an idol among dancers?

Novel: There are people who inspire me - there are a lot of them. You don’t even need to leave your own room to stumble upon these same people. The habit of having an idol is contagious, you may not become the same or, having become, you will not know what to do next. You are your own idol, the main thing is to eat from different sources and look for yourself. The main thing is to appreciate the work of others, and not only to take, but to create something for the next generation all the time!

SI: Which musicians are close to you? Which video would you like to be in?

Novel: It's the same story with musicians as with dancers. There are a lot of them - genres, performances, styles, directions. Music is one of the main inspirers that can lead to any state. I really love music, different, from pop-punk to electronic, just beats or funk, some kind of future or classics - it doesn't matter if the music is good. I would like to work with a lot of people. If we take the closest ones, then this is at least 5’nizza, Boombox,.

Anya Turchina

SI: How did you get into dancing?

Anya: It all started rather frivolously. My best friend “forcibly” signed me up for the Miss Faculty contest, and the local choreographer was preparing us for the contest. The next season, she and I decided to sign up for classes with him, but in the end we ended up in another school where we were taught “club” dances (we loved night parties with a friend). A year later, club dancing turned into an underground direction, and soon the university faded into the background.

SI: What are you called in the team?

Anya: The team calls me by my first name. But lately, more and more often by last name. This happens in all micro-societies where I appear.

Anya: I already mentioned that in the beginning I started to study hip-hop, house dance, krump and other underground styles. The latter was a big influence on my delivery, and hip-hop will always be a groove in my heart. Now I can’t define my dances to a specific style, and I don’t want to do this. I am looking for myself in different styles. "Experimental", like they say. Now I am very impressed with vogue, I take a lot from there. Ideally, I want my dance to have such components as Style, Freedom, Thought, Representation, Revelation, Professionalism, Performance. I'm trying to go in that direction.

SI: Do you prefer to dance prepared choreography or freestyle?

Anya: I like both options. Depends on the mood. More and more I want to move in a free style. But creating choreography is very interesting!

SI: What a performance with?

Anya: This is a difficult question. In fact, this is how: there are performances (shootings) that have left their imprint for life, I'm not afraid of this word, and I can talk about each of them for a long time. But the most important thing is the performance at the LKS (“The Best Team of the Country”), which brought us victory, the shooting of the video for Jamala “Stuck” and the video (and the process of its creation) by Apache Crew - bad dancer.

SI: Describe in three words each member of the team?

Anya: Unexpected, but nice. It means like this: Roma- sharp, purposeful, speaker; Masha— dance machine, professional, cheerful; Max Kot- like a cat, by itself, but in a free connection with everyone, an inventor, a ranger; Lisa- American girl, responsible, works hard on herself, has an easy attitude to everything; Galya- has people, professional, tactful, subtle humor; Nastya- artist, girl from another era, inspires, subtle perception of the world; Sasha- and again I repeat - a professional, sympathetic personality, a cool partner, whose image on stage is ambivalent; Dima- a versatile dancer, my partner in the play, a favorite of the female audience; Tolik- a fast-paced entertainer, a dreamer, a man who can change history, a mystery.

SI: If you were to act in a film about dance, what role would you ideally suit?

Anya: Probably, the image is mysterious, original. A mixture of Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction and Mila Jovovich in The 5 Element. In general, I really like the image and attitude to the dance of the Indian girl in Luc Besson's "Dancer". But I also want to try absolutely opposite images - lyrical, comedic, for example.

SI: What styles of dance would you like to learn more?

Anya: I like contemporary, vogue and dancehall. For now, at least.

SI: What do you think is the most important thing for a dancer?

Anya: Of course, an impeccable physical form gives you more opportunities in the dance (here is flexibility, strength, endurance, lightness, etc.), plus, this is a beautiful picture for the viewer. For a dancer, as for me, it is important to be an artist who carries non-verbal information to those who contemplate. It's responsible. It is also important to constantly fill up, nourish your content in order to be attractive, interesting. Search. To try, even if it is strange, is inconvenient. Do not try to repeat someone else's success. Be yourself! Exchange. Get inspired!

SI: Is dancing a vocation or a hobby for you?

Anya: I had periods when it was not possible to dance. Then I was a miserable person. The opportunity to be on stage is an undeniable pleasure. It can be compared to a mother's hug.

SI: Do you have an idol among dancers?

Anya: There are, of course, many of them. But there are those who strongly influenced the course of my dance events. These are, for example, Anatoly Sachivko, Vitalik Savchenko and Artemy Lazarev.

SI: Which musicians are close to you? Which video would you like to be in?

Anya: Oh! A lot of musicians are close to me. But there are performers in whose video I would like to star (in the title role, of course!) - this is a group, FKA Twigs, Zhanna Aguzarova, Pharrell Williams.

Alexander Ptashnik

SI: How did you get into dancing?

Oleksandr: I can’t say for sure if I myself appeared to be buried by this type of mysticism. The whole thing was in the school age, looking over the clips from the choreographic design to the music. canals, he himself prischeplyuvav bajannya to engage in dancing. I borrowed some material from a bastard, and invented some myself, wanting to contagiously call it choreography, but that’s how I started my way.

SI: What are you called in the team?

Oleksandr: I don’t have a specific name, which would have been clearly tied to the command. As if Anya Turchina nicknamed me Birdman, it didn’t take root, but I should. And in the Kramper stakes of the city of Kiev, I know the yak Twin Spitfire.

SI: How can you describe the style you dance in?

Oleksandr: In Apache CREW, I represent the krump style, because the culture is young enough, as it is now gaining popularity in Ukraine. Vaughn, like all dance styles, may have a rich history of development. There is no one to say that the head rice of the krump style is aggression. Alece is far from it. Head rice style is a manifestation of the spiritual strength of a person. In the new, the skin dancer knows the character, which you are most impressed with, and for a long time to reach the character, which is attached to the hero.

SI: Do you prefer to dance prepared choreography or freestyle?

Oleksandr: Since I dance krump (and krump dances solo), I'm more skilled to freestyle. You can say a lot of things to freestyle. Ale and I love the ferret too.

SI: What a performance with you remember the most?

Oleksandr: Everything that we have done for our own kind has taken off for me. І into the skin performance by investing its intelligence to the maximum. And finally, I remembered my first performance with the team at the “Feel the beat” festival in my head, and the version of “Megapolis” was like a twisted version, as it later evolved into a large-scale “phenomenon of the Ukrainian stage”.

SI: Describe in three words each member of the team?

Oleksandr: Mashka Kozlova: vzagali not bachiv in a filthy mood, but її energy is charged, especially on ledges. Such a lively person. Anya Turchina: Zhanna Aguzarova in dance culture. I also like to read її verses. True, do not start my mind, but only primus my brain to practice. Liza Ryabinina: її purposefulness, like wine, enjoying great successes, foretelling honor. Dima Twitter: a rich-faceted blond, without a vіzme, don’t imagine a role. With which to cope on vіdminno. Roma Armo: creative nature, tightly packed in a bottle under the name Bad Boy. Vіn knows what to rob, and not to be ruined in a folded situation. Max Kot: after that, having got to know Max, and the same time I create, I’m wondering from the other side at breaking. Galya Pєkha: strimanity, erudovanism, modesty, kindness - kindness, like confirmation not in words. Yakost, which harmonically merge with plasticity, and wriggle in groggily dancing forms. Nastya Kharchenko: if it’s just a riddle, and if it’s a whole cosmos, engulfed in subtle senses of humor, in a way you’re blowing your head.

SI: If you were to act in a film about dance, what role would you ideally suit?

Oleksandr: It would be cool, yakby film about Apache CREW, and I would engrave myself.

SI: What styles of dance would you like to learn more?

Oleksandr: As long as I am satisfied with the consumption of what I can. І meni tsgogo vistachaє. All the time.

SI: What do you think is the most important thing for a dancer?

Oleksandr: I think it’s not necessary to overdo it, the professional is guilty of such evils, we all know. Golovnya - to be overwhelmed with people.

SI: Is dancing a vocation or a hobby for you?

Oleksandr: Let's name the call to call.

SI: Do you have an idol among dancers, if so, who?

Oleksandr: Creator of krump style - Tight Eyez. Lyudina, like in 16 years she created something new, and already at the same time she became a legend. Yaka did not miss the welcome zmagannya, constantly reminding the new style, like a name, so in the middle.

SI: Which musicians are close to you? Whose video would you like to star in?

Oleksandr: Vzagali, I am a music lover and do not get attached to anything alone. I listen like a native, so I listen to foreign music. And I want to fix it for 5’nizza.

Galya Peha

SI: How did you get into dancing, when and who inspired you to do it?

Galya: As a child, when my mother appeared somewhere with me, she was often offered to give "the child to the sport." Already at that time, an athletic physique was traced in me, my parents only had to choose which section to assign me to. One day, quite by accident, I found myself in an open ballroom dancing class! Seeing beautiful girls in luxurious dresses with rhinestones and shiny stones ... How could I resist? I got sick of it for the next 15 years. Now I don’t regret a single bit that my life was such a busy and, at times, very difficult period. I got invaluable experience.

SI: What are you called in the team?

Galya: Fortunately or unfortunately, I don't have a nickname on the team.

SI: How can you describe the style you dance in?

Galya: For me, style is not limited to dance styles. This is something more, so to speak, self-expression! In my view, style is the search for forms that perfectly fit my body. Having some experience in the dance field, I am still in search, which is why I dance. When I find it, development will end.

SI: Do you prefer to dance prepared choreography or freestyle?

Galya: For most of my dancing journey, I have been doing choreography. Only when I got into the Apache CREW team, a new stage began, the stage of creativity. Having the opportunity to see how representatives of other dance styles work on themselves, my hands were untied, I found a new inspiration tool, and it consists in improvisation and synthesis of various dance styles. Thanks to this source, I learned a lot about myself. My only regret is that it didn't happen to me sooner.

SI: What a performance withApache CREW you remember the most?

Galya: For me, there is nothing more valuable than the opportunity to be on stage, so the premiere of the play "Megapolis" on the stage of KMATOB became an unforgettable event for me. Until now, mentally returning to the period of preparation, and also, remembering my heartbeat during the performance itself, I am filled with energy and strength to move on, to prepare myself for the opportunity to “live” on this stage one more separate life.

SI: Describe in three words each member of the team?

Galya: Dima- a gifted dancer, whose plasticity and facial expressions cannot leave the viewer indifferent. What other qualities should a real artist have? I draw inspiration from his breaking, he is a kind of "teacher" for me. Nastya is the source of my inexhaustible inspiration. In her eyes I see the whole world, I see the same in her dance. In addition, we are countrymen and we are united by love for our native Black Sea. So Nastya for me is like the sea - deep and breathing freedom. Masha- if I were asked to describe Masha in one word, I would say - "energy"! She never stands still, she is always on the way to her goals. With Masha, we went through many difficulties, and I can say that I am a witness of her constant, round-the-clock work on herself. I learn from her every day. Max- a unique artist whose dance has a hypnotic effect on me. I admire the way he uses the possibilities of his body and mind. Sasha- a dancer who very skillfully combines completely polar styles. Having a huge dance experience behind him, he managed to keep his original and courageous plastique, which made his style recognizable. I love to watch him dance and admire the strength that his body breathes. Lisa- a person who talks little and does a lot! She is, in a good way, obsessed with dance and works 24/7 on her style. Hard work brings results, she is known all over the world, and I, in turn, am proud to be on the same team with her. Roma- a dancer with incredibly strong energy. His dance captures the eyes of the audience. Each of his “outputs” is a separate performance in which Roma strictly adheres to his style and image. The energy and enthusiasm with which he approaches the matter cannot leave anyone indifferent. Anya- a unique person in every sense. She breathes creativity, the personification is her dance and her poetry. Her life is an eternal search, behind each of her movements there is a certain meaning. This attracts the interest of the viewer, because it is always interesting to guess someone, especially if this is a real artist on stage.

SI: If you were to act in a film about dance, what role would you ideally suit?

Galya: I am very interested in acting in films. To be honest, I don't necessarily need it to be a film about dancing. I would like to reward my heroine with qualities that I do not possess in life. Play your antagonist. I would really like to immerse myself in real, serious work on the role.

SI: What styles of dance would you like to learn more?

Galya: The main thing for a dancer is to work with his head, as in any other creative profession. Teaching your body to move, "speak" and evoke a response from the viewer - it's not the same thing.

SI: What do you think is the most important thing for a dancer?

Galya: I don’t know what is the main thing for a dancer in principle, but for me the main thing is constant focus on what I am doing. Working on myself and developing, I am most afraid of losing something that is inherent only to me alone.

SI: Is dancing a vocation or a hobby for you?

Galya: Dance is one of the forms of self-expression in art, and nothing else.

SI: Do you have an idol among dancers?

Galya: I have no idols in principle. There are “example people” and they surround me, set the rhythm that I follow, but only in their own way.

SI: Which musicians are close to you? Which video would you like to be in?

Galya: Good quality music always makes me want to dance to it. Fortunately, Ukraine is now experiencing the heyday of the music scene and I want to interact with young "ours" in any capacity.

Dmitry Twitter

SI: How did you get into dancing?

Dmitry: Very simple. I came and signed up for the club right after I got back from the camp, where I happened to see a couple of b-boys. On September 1, 2005, I started, and three days later I realized my calling in this difficult task.

SI: What are you called in the team?

Dmitry: If it's a nickname, then there isn't one. They call me by my last name.

SI: How can you describe the style you dance in?

Dmitry: I'm a b-boy, according to the description I can add something anti-gravity, but I won't.

SI: Do you prefer to dance prepared choreography or freestyle?

Dmitry: In the prepared choreography, as for me, there is no less freestyle than in himself. So is freestyle, it has no essence if there is no preparation. But I'm a freestyler.

SI: What a performance with Apache CREW you remember the most?

Dmitry: I remember more than others exactly the preparation for the battle for the LKS. We won, and this is my first appearance for the team.

SI: Describe in three words each member of the team?

Dmitry: Roma character, energy, music. Maksim- cat, tram, satellite. Sasha Ptashnik- mova, brotherhood, courage. Nastya theater, sea, light. Anya- mood, talent, truthfulness. Galya- spirit, art, intellectual.

SI: If you were to act in a film about dance, what role would you ideally suit?

Dmitry: I would like to fall in love with the role. Maybe someday I'll get lucky with this role. And the ideal role, at least for now, was negative roles.

SI: What styles of dance would you like to learn more?

Dmitry: I would like not to learn some styles, but simply to master everything that I already have, and to cope with it with dignity. Find the best application and action for all knowledge. And the style will come in due time, if needed.

SI: What do you think is the most important thing for a dancer?

Dmitry: The main thing for a dancer is not to stop being a dancer, for a moment or a period. Rest and let go of thoughts, be able to reboot, have vents and time alone. Then both physics and psyche, I think, will be built as it should be for a good dancer. Well, the most important thing is hard work.

SI: Is dancing a vocation or a hobby for you?

Dmitry: Vocation.

SI: Do you have an idol among dancers?

Dmitry: Many cool people inspire me, but there are no idols among them.

SI: Which musicians are close to you? Which video would you like to be in?

Dmitry: I didn’t think about the video, but I consider Bonobo close. He has been with me for a long time.

Anastasia Kharchenko

SI: How did you get into dancing?

Anastasia: As a child, my relatives sent me to a choreographic school in Odessa - it all started there. Inspiration / inspirers appear, disappear, then reappear and disappear again, this process is constant, I can’t single out one thing.

SI: What are you called in the team?

Anastasia: The team calls me by my first name. I don't have any nickname.

SI: How can you describe the style you dance in?

Anastasia: If I were a writer, I would put it into words. I can't describe my style. These are feelings, emotions that move me, which take on some form of their own, a character is born, a semantic background, a dance is born. It’s not very good to talk about it, so I dance.

SI: Do you prefer to dance prepared choreography or freestyle?

Anastasia: Performing the set choreography and mastering freestyle are as different things as they are equally interesting. When I joined the team, I got acquainted with freestyle, and gradually began to discover this concept for myself. This is freedom in all manifestations, which greatly admires. But it is also interesting to work with the set choreography, with the author's style. When there are frames, they can also travel. As for myself, more often I work with prepared choreography.

SI: What a performance withApache CREW you remember the most?

Anastasia: I remember everything. Every performance, every shoot. Each of them is a separate journey. I don't want to single out one thing, I'm silently grateful that all of this is happening.

SI: Describe in three words each member of the team?

Anastasia: Sasha- this is goodness and mystery, courage. Lisa Ryabinina- mind, charm, example. Dima— fragile, but at the same time confident spirit, wind. Roma- has a powerful faith in a happy future, and the next, influential guy believes from this. Inexhaustible positive Masha- a machine, a perpetual motion machine, in the best sense of these words. The dance turns her madly, charges her. Galya- the sea at dawn, calm, which is rare, crystal clear water, pleasant coolness, the purest dance. Anya- sensual nature, silence, spacious and eloquent. Poet Max- a wild master, a master of words, a master of dance, a master of thought.

SI: If you were to act in a film about dance, what role would you ideally suit?

Anastasia: Ideally, not to have a suitable role, this is immediately a stamp. I want to be able to master different images, cope with radically different characters and tasks. I try to be open to everything.

SI: What styles of dance would you like to learn more?

Anastasia: Breaking, waacking, house.

SI: What do you think is the most important thing for a dancer?

Anastasia: A good dancer is, first of all, Mind, Labor, Thirst. Work conquers lack of data, work ennobles you.

SI: Is dancing a vocation or a hobby for you?

Anastasia: Dance is what I'm working on now. It certainly brings a buzz, but in the future I want to try myself in something completely different. Open to it.

SI: Do you have an idol among dancers?

Anastasia: There are no idols. There are powerful inspirers, many of them are in our team.

SI: Which musicians are close to you? Which video would you like to be in?

Anastasia: Music is the highest art for me. It is not possible to list all those who like it here. I listen to different directions, I can’t single out one thing. I would just like to talk to Arvo Pärt.

Roma- expressive, rich, spontaneous, fast, bright, accented. Nastya is a sensual, deep, storytelling, beautiful, feminine dancer. Anya- fresh, new, stylish, decorated, own, fashion. Maria: Justin Timberlake, Beyonce (childhood dream), FKA twigs, Jungle, Pharell Williams, ONUKA etc.

Recently, it has become more and more difficult to keep the viewer for the whole 3-4 minutes that the clip lasts. Many try to achieve this through dance.
Today one of the most emotional Ukrainian bands Bahroma presented a video featuring Apache Crew. On this occasion, we recall a couple more music videos with the dancers of this team.

Bahroma - "In the Deep"

Anna Kopylova (director)

“The most difficult thing was to wait for the rain to stop, which suddenly went on the day of shooting. But then we decided that it was even cooler with rain, and then everything was easy.

Roman Bakharev (group leader)

“I immediately liked the script proposed by Anya. In addition, as a fan of minimalism, I was bribed that the video is black and white. The clip turned out beautiful and strong.”

Jamala - "Lost"

“I heard this song in a new way at the Jamala concert and saw that we can give it a full visualization. I am very pleased with the process of working on the video, and the result should be appreciated by people.”

Jamal

“This dance performance, in my opinion, illustrates the animal part of human nature. You know when people look for their “smell”. In particular, I'm talking about the moment when the main character wants to find her only one in a crowd of people. And she tries to understand who he is through smell, through touch. It's like what blind people have told me."

K.A.T.Y.A. - "New File"

Katya Horny

“I saw one of the Apache Crew productions on YouTube and decided to contact Tolik with the idea of a dance video sequence. He liked the track and soon we started rehearsals. The clip was filmed in three frames and it was very interesting to cook in the whole process, when some of the dancers run behind the back of the operator, in order to later appear in the frame in a new scene.

There is a moment when I am thrown out of the frame. In one of the trial takes, I landed badly and, unfortunately, my knee failed me. From time to time I felt that the leg gave way, did not obey. Later, I found out that I danced with a torn ligament the whole day of filming.

All dancers are very colorful. I watch this video regularly to see what each one does. It's a mixture of dance styles, it's a special mood and it's all a bit weird. How I love".

Anatoly Sachivko (choreographer, director)

“Katyukha is cool, very hardworking, she was at all rehearsals. She wanted to take part in everything, it's very nice. She trusted me, for which I thank her very much.”
