During his career, he has written many songs for almost the entire elite of the pop industry, starred in ten films, composed soundtracks for eleven films and released nine collections of songs in a variety of styles. Ukupnik has his own record company.

Personal life

Arkady Ukupnik was married three times, the first time in the 70s to Lilia Lelchuk, he has a son, Grigory, born in 1980. House of Arkady Ukupnik in Barvikha

The famous showman has a country house in Barvikha, where he lives with his third wife Natalia and daughter Sonechka. After ten years of living together, the couple decided on drastic changes: to have a baby and buy a house in the suburbs. Their own home was later abandoned in favor of a townhouse. When choosing housing, the status of the village played an important role, as did the location and infrastructure.

A house that would suit both, suitable in terms of parameters and various requirements, Ukupniki have been looking for for several years. Although it was this house that suited them all, it still needed to be repaired. Natalya Antsiferova was invited to do this, she worked on this townhouse at the construction stage, so all the improvements blended seamlessly into the original design.

The house on Rublevo-Uspenskoye Highway is not the first joint housing of Arkady and Natalya, the couple has apartments in Jurmala and Moscow. The Moscow apartment was completely redesigned by Ukupnik. According to the project, each room had 3-5 corners instead of the standard four.

Natalya was fully engaged in the interior decor of the new house. Here everything is already in the classical style, all the rooms are of the correct form. The house itself is made in the Scandinavian style, the interior is restrained and not flashy.

The house uses predominantly light colors: sandy walls turn into gray colors and all this is complemented by upholstered furniture with the same color.

In fact, the musician does not like the extra decor at all, but he firmly insisted on the pool. The swimming pool, eight meters long and almost two meters deep, together with the sauna, was decided to be installed in the basement.

In total, the house has three floors: on the first floor there is a living room with a fireplace and a kitchen, on the upper floors there are two bedrooms. Ukupnik's office is located on the second floor next to the winter garden. The plot around the house is small, which is also very pleasing to the spouses, since the extra land requires constant care.

A three-level townhouse along Rublevo-Uspenskoye Highway with approximate furnishings and dimensions costs from 7 million to 22.5 million rubles.

Biography, life story of Ukupnik Arkady Semyonovich

Arkady Semyonovich Ukupnik (the correct surname is Okupnik, just the letter “U” appeared in it due to a typo by the passport officer who issued the passport to Arkady’s father) was born on the 18th of February 1953 in the city of Kamenetz-Podolsk in Ukraine.

Childhood

Arkady's father Semyon Fomich taught mathematics. Mother Zinaida Grigoryevna was a teacher of Russian literature. In the Ukupnikov family, in addition to Arkady, there was also the youngest daughter Margarita. Arkady said that in childhood he and his sister lived like a dog with a cat. The boy was insanely jealous of his parents for his sister, and for this, his sister got a lot from him. Parents, however, did not let the kid go down and punished him after each misconduct.

Arkady studied for reasons of principle not at all in the school where his parents taught. His mother and father kept their reputation, they did not want others to think that they were doing favors for their son. Therefore, he was sent to study in another school. Arkady's parents were respected people in the city (after all, almost half of all its inhabitants studied with them), so little Ukupnik simply had no right to study poorly and went to excellent students all the time.

At the age of six, thanks to the efforts of his father who once played the violin, Arkady was sent to study at a music school. In the class in which Arkady studied, he was the only boy. This circumstance pretty much spoiled his nerves. Not a day passed that the girls did not set up some kind of trick. They got the hang of, for example, hiding his hat in the teacher's table. The boy looked for her for a long time, and only when all the students had already gone home, the teacher, having given Arkady a headdress, let him go from school. Arkady was hurt to tears. He hated studying at the "musical school", as well as the violin: Ukupnik Sr. always watched his son play, holding a wide soldier's belt in his hands.

Youth

In 1970, the future composer and singer went to study at the Moscow State Technical University. Bauman at the department AM-7 with a degree in "Welding production: technology and equipment". He graduated from Baumanka in 1976. However, the guy was seduced by a musical career and later Arkady Ukupnik graduated from the Moscow Regional Music College (Tsaritsynskoye) in bass guitar.

Family life

Arkady Ukupnik married Lilia Lelchuk in the late 70s and in 1980 their son Grigory was born. This marriage broke up after a few years. Grigory and his mother went to live in Germany. The second time Arkady Semyonovich married in the mid-80s to Marina Nikitina. In 1987, a daughter, Yunna, was born in the Ukupnikov family. However, this marriage also broke up. In the 2000s, Arkady Semyonovich married Natalia Turchinskaya, nee Butova, the head of an elite travel agency. Their daughter Sonya was born in 2011.

He is a man of art, she has been in business for many years. The age difference is solid, social circle, interests almost do not coincide. It would seem that there are few chances to find each other. However... It's just a coincidence or the stars are so arranged, but they have been together for 15 years. And looking at Arkady and Natalia Ukupnik and their charming daughter Sonechka, it becomes obvious that this is a truly happy family. Hand in hand, brick by brick, they built their happiness.

- It is better to start talking about the family from the very beginning - from your acquaintance. How did it happen?

Arkady: We just met: she and my friend came to my studio, and the first time I saw her there, I really liked her. Absolutely by chance, a couple of days later we ran into one nightclub at some event. I thought that there might not be a third time, and brazenly asked for a phone number.

- Probably, you didn’t experience any special timidity?

Arkady: Well, in principle, I was already a fairly recognizable person ...

Nataliya: And hoped it would help. (Laughs.)

– That, it turns out, is why everyone strives to become stars... (Laughs.)

Arkady: This, of course, made it possible to immediately switch to you from almost any special female. If I approached someone on the street, no trouble was expected of me. Therefore, I received a phone number, and further events developed, I must say, rapidly.

Nataliya: Very fast. He didn't even give me a chance to assess the situation.

Arkady: And, as it turned out, he did the right thing. A lot of things had to match. We are old enough to make a serious decision. I was not free, and neither was she. But this is how the circumstances developed in my life and in her situation - it is necessary that it coincides so that everyone has time at this moment. Because you can meet a person, you will like him, you call him the next day, and he flew away somewhere, he is gone. And when you call and meet in an hour ... That is, we matched like puzzles, we had time, the opportunity to get to know each other.

- The stars are so arranged, they favored you ...

Arkady: Absolutely right.

“One of the most exciting moments in my life is the little miracle that was given to me a minute after she was born.”

- Arkady, in one interview about recipes for family happiness, you said: "The main thing is that the two halves of the family keep pace." But in order to do this, one must first adapt to the step of the other. Which of you had to do this?

Nataliya: To me.

Arkady: I think, most likely, Natasha. But, in principle, the creation of a family is in any case a joint process. Let's start with the simplest: I walk very fast, she walks very slowly.

Nataliya: Now I'm making it fit...

Arkady: As for character, of course, everything is not easy - patience, patience and once again patience. The most important thing is that you can learn to keep pace with each other, to know habits, tastes. But it is very important if people have common interests.

From the very first years of our life together, we began to help each other, I helped her business, she helped mine. It turned out that she could replace many people who were around me and with whom I was not very pleased. This opened up new prospects for the development of our family.

A family is like building a house: brick by brick. Both work for results. This, of course, is also a vision of the future, some common goals.

- Why, after all, only many years after you began to live together, Sonechka was born? So it happened?

Arkady: Lots of ingredients. It so happened that we started life from scratch. I left the previous family housing. We began to rent an apartment, solved some domestic issues. I had to get back on my feet, buy an apartment, work.

We were so good together: if you count the time that we spent apart over these 15 years, maybe a couple of months will be typed - no more. But gradually we came to a mutual desire and understanding - we want a child.

Nataliya: I believe that children are a gift from God. They are born when they should be born. There are people who do everything for this and do not have children at all. Do you understand? It seems to me that this is such a complex issue that is beyond our control.

“We matched like puzzles, we had time, the opportunity to get to know each other.”

- Why did they decide to give birth in Israel?

Nataliya: Actually, I chose the place. Both France and Switzerland were on my list. Arkady just took it for granted. We rested in Israel, I was already in my fifth month, we went to see what the situation was like in maternity hospitals. I liked what I saw and learned. I decided to give birth in Israel.

- Arkady, you were present at the birth. This is not for every man. Was it your decision?

Arkady: It was a mutual decision: I wanted to be with her at that moment, she did not mind. Actually it was amazing.

- Was it scary?

Arkady: It would be scary if something went wrong. Fortunately, everything was fine. This is generally one of the most exciting moments in my life - a small miracle that was given to me a minute after she was born.

Nataliya: Yes, in a second! I will say more. They give the child to the mother to touch, and the next second they cover the child with a diaper so that it is not cold, and immediately give it into the hands of the father. He even cut the umbilical cord.

Arkady: We had some kind of attitude, some kind of amazing wave that carried us up to this moment, until birth. It was not thought that we lived for almost 15 years, and only then a child appeared. It was somehow very natural. I think we did the right thing.

- For many men, the appearance of a small person next to them is a test. But, Arkady, you have a solid father's experience ...

Arkady: Purely psychologically, of course, I was more prepared than Natasha, because I understood that there are no unsolvable issues. But, on the other hand, the previous experience, firstly, is old, and secondly, I was then in a completely different situation, I was a young man.

Those kids grew up in parallel with what I was doing - a career. When you are young, you treat it differently. When you have a child at the age of 58, you have already achieved almost everything, you have the guidelines and life values of an adult, you know how much, and the appearance of a small miracle ... You treat this completely differently. I advise all men to gain this experience, if possible: give birth to a child after 50 years.

“Now two specialists with higher education have directed all their efforts to raising their daughter.”

- Do you feel rejuvenated?

Arkady: On the one hand, it cheered me up, but on the other hand, of course, it's not so simple. In any case, I understand that I have a goal that makes me be healthy, full of strength or find these strengths in myself. If I just lay on the couch and thought: "Well, that's it ..." And so - a new stage. The brain, the whole body is reconfigured.

Nataliya: In the evening, Arkady rings the doorbell, Sonechka runs and shouts: “This is dad, I’m meeting!” Maybe he is upset about something or something did not work out, he was tired. I sometimes see: I went in - the mood is not very good, three seconds have passed - the mood is good.

- It is significant, when we agreed on an interview, you immediately said that only on weekdays, because weekends are holy days for Arkady: he is with his daughter.

Nataliya: Arkady spends the weekend with the child for a long time, as soon as Sonya was born. He clearly said: no filming, no other business. You look at him at this time and think: after all, the parent is transformed next to the child instantly. Whoever he is. Here is a case: we came to the Ice Age, many VIP guests were invited, and, of course, they were with children. Kristina Orbakaite, Vanya Urgant, we, someone else - a lot.

"I see his relationship with colleagues: he does not remember evil, unlike a lot of people in show business."

Arkady: These were not stars, but simply parents.

Nataliya: That's it. Let's say I'm going - I always have water, cookies and maybe sausage sandwiches with me. I say: “Sonya, wipe your hands, eat,” I look, Christina also climbs into her bag - she got a sandwich with cheese. Vanya's bears are sticking out of his pocket.

Christina has the same girl as ours, Vanya has an older girl. Dad is carrying Sonya in his arms, because there is an ice arena, it's cold there. That is, they are no longer stars, they are just moms and dads.

– Natalia, you have been successfully engaged in business for quite a long time. Do you regret that you stopped doing it?

Nataliya: I have had a travel business for almost 20 years. Difficult business.

Now, especially...

Nataliya: Of course. Now the time is different - there are fewer opportunities to sell a tourist product than before. And more competition. This is a very labor-intensive business, because it employs a large number of people - a long chain from the seller to the consumer.

But, as they say, "it's hard to carry and it's a pity to throw." That's how it was for me. I did this for a very long time, then for a long time I could not decide to quit the business. Then she opened a school of tourism managers. I also have a large concert agency, but Sonechka was born, and when she was 7 months old, I completely said goodbye to the tourism business. And I don't regret it. I left only a concert agency.

Arkady: Natasha, by the way, is a candidate of economic sciences, she graduated from Moscow State University.

Nataliya: Yes, I graduated from Moscow State University and defended my dissertation there.

Arkady: I once graduated from the Bauman Institute. And now two specialists with higher education have directed all their efforts to raising their daughter.

Nataliya: Yes. In general, I tried to invest all my higher education in a three-year-old child. (Laughs.)

We already go to English lessons. Arkady wants Sonya to speak English fluently. I fully support him. Language today is everything.

- As far as I know, Sonechka is also engaged in mathematics ...

Arkady: It's loud. Just activities for kids.

Nataliya: This is a new technique for teaching small children addition, subtraction, multiplication of large numbers. The whole system, it came to us from Thailand.

Arkady: My daughter also draws.

Nataliya: Yes, she draws. He even writes a little. Here at the school for kids on Valentine's Day, children wrote words as a congratulation to their parents. Almost everyone wrote their names, one Sonechka - the word "mother". I don't know if it's love or if this word is easier to write than other words, but it's the nicest gift a mom can get on this day. (Laugh.)

- Aren't you afraid to overload the child with all kinds of developmental activities?

Arkady: We see that for her these activities are a joy. She's interested.

Do you want her to be a star?

Nataliya: Probably, any parent amuses himself with vanity that his child is famous, not like everyone else, and this is his child. But as the wife of a famous person, I understand that this is a very heavy and difficult bread. Therefore, it is difficult for me to say whether I would like it or not.

Arkady: But we won't stop it.

Nataliya: We will not. She is a lioness, a leader, a domineering girl. She is accustomed to attention from the cradle. At the age of one and a half, at half past eleven at night, she went on stage to congratulate dad: 6 thousand people in the hall. I walked, holding her hand - at that time she was still not very firm, but she did everything exactly as the director Alexander Revzin asked her.

I think she likes it. Genes, probably. I tell my mother: “Mom, she loves the stage so much.” Mom answers me: "Blood is not water."

Does Sonya surprise you with something?

Nataliya: She surprises us with conversations. She talks to dad all the time with some such phrases: “Dad, it seems to me that you are doing a little wrong.” Here it is.

Arkady: Verbal turns or some words that some adults do not know. Where does she get them from? Builds phrases like an adult. Of course, this is surprising.

Did she see her dad on stage? What was the reaction?

Nataliya: She is very interested, she likes it very much. I sometimes shoot Arkady's performances, she reviews them many times.

Have you developed any family traditions in 15 years?

Nataliya: Traditions... It's even hard to say...

Arkady: We always celebrate Valentine's Day.

Nataliya: Necessarily.

- How exactly do you celebrate?

Arkady: We definitely spend an evening away from home - a romantic date. And so, of course, there are holidays: Natasha's birthday, the day of our marriage, the New Year.

Natalia: Arkady's birthday is celebrated, you know how?

- In a big way, probably.

Nataliya: Just not every year.

Arkady: Once every 10 years. Then I come to my senses for a long time after that.

Nataliya: He celebrated 60 years in such a way that at 61 and 62 he said: “I don’t even want relatives.” I say: "Let's at least the closest." “I don't want anyone. You, me and Sonya - everything. During the anniversary celebrations, we had a lot of people. I told him: "We will definitely celebrate." He resisted a little, but I insisted. To be honest, I really wanted to make this holiday for him, and, in general, everything worked out.

Arkady: If she wants something...

Nataliya: If I want - this holiday will be! (Laugh.)

“The parent is transformed next to the child instantly. Whoever he is."

- Arkady, what is Natasha's main character trait, in your opinion? Beyond persistence.

Nataliya: Just name a good one ... (Laughs.)

Arkady: It seems to me that she perceives all the negative things that inevitably sometimes happen either to her or to our family, primarily from positive positions. She does not look for the bad in the good, but looks for the good in the bad, unlike me.

I am a person in this sense, probably a depressive one, it is easy to unbalance me with an unpleasant situation. In her attitude to problems, I draw strength, because I see that there is a different point of view on the same thing. It turns out that it's not so bad.

Nataliya: Sometimes Arkady is amazed at my patience, which is also my positive quality.

Arkady: Looking at what. It's bad - she doesn't know how to say "no" to people, she's a very soft person. Rarely takes a hard line. I always convince: you need to be able to say “no”. She cannot refuse people, for a long time she endures some things that interfere in business, in relationships. I can cut right away.

- Natalia, what character trait of Arkady do you like the most?

Nataliya: He is a kind person. Very emotional. Easy-going, not vindictive at all - this is a very positive trait. I see his relationship with colleagues: he does not remember evil, unlike a lot of people in show business.

“Many couples have a very well-planned life. Like climbing a ladder, from step to step. They plan - they do it. Then on to the next frontier. Do you have the same?

Nataliya: Probably not anymore. Much has been achieved. Today there are no specific goals. We didn't have clear boundaries. For a long time we enjoyed life, trips, travels, then there was something else. We are all the time in society, all the time in public.

The goal now is to have a child, I want to give him a lot, to make him happy not only in childhood, but also in life. Not everything depends on us, of course, but what depends, we will definitely do.

You know, life is so arranged: we assume, but rarely, it seems to me, the result is what is intended. At best, something relatively close to what you want. It often happens that you get one interpretation or another.

Although, now, probably, there is a specific goal - we are preparing a jazz festival. This is serious work.

Arkady: Igor Butman and I conceived and last year held in Riga a large international jazz festival World Jazz Festival, which was a huge success: legendary jazzmen from all over the world were present. They performed on the central square of the capital of Latvia near the famous Dome Cathedral and in the Arena Riga sports and concert complex.

This year we are going to repeat this successful experience. We hope that this festival of jazz, as the media wrote - "jazz madness in Riga", will become a tradition. It is very interesting to work on this project. I myself am a jazz musician in the past and in general I like to build my life in some periods. It seemed that something was missing in life, so they came up with a festival.

– And why exactly Riga?

Arkady: Natasha and I have been constantly relaxing in Jurmala for more than 10 years, we know and love this city well.

"Sometimes Arkady is amazed at my patience, which is also my positive quality."

- Did Natalia also take part in organizing the festival?

Arkady: This is generally, one might say, a family creative and business project.

Our family business is organized like this: the creative, creative component is mine, and all the inconspicuous, but hard and very necessary work to bring my idea to life is on Natasha.

- That is, Natasha's function is organizational?

Nataliya: Yes, such a modest function. Glory and honor to the creator, to the one who invented it. And the performer is always on the sidelines. (Laughs.) I am the general producer of the project. I already have experience in organizing large-scale events. Of course, this is a lot of work. And Arkady understands and appreciates this very well.
