Hawaiian party do it yourself. How to make a do-it-yourself puppet theater for kindergarten How to make a theater out of a box

Home puppet theater is a good way to develop a child. In particular, the project contributes to the development of speech, imagination, fine motor skills of the hand. At the same time, dolls have an excellent psychotherapeutic effect, since they are able to help the child cope with his fears and feelings, as well as get the attention that is sometimes so lacking. You can make a puppet theater in a kindergarten with your own hands, and this applies not only to puppets, but also to screens and decorations.

Making dolls

Dolls can be made from completely different materials, including improvised ones. However, their size is not important. They can be finger, in the form of gloves or stationary figures.

Finger characters made of felt

Finger puppets allow you to develop fine motor skills of the child, his thinking and speech. Making miniature dolls is very easy. To do this, prepare the following tools and materials:

  • felt;
  • threads;
  • scissors;
  • pattern paper;
  • pencil.

You can draw the pattern for the character yourself. To do this, it is first recommended to choose a fairy tale or story that will be staged, and then carefully consider its characters. After that, you can start making characters:

When making finger puppets, you should immediately decide on who will wear them. If this is a child, then the holes in the dolls should be such that the characters do not fall off during the staging process.

modeling paste

A good material for making dolls can be a special paste for modeling. It can be replaced with salt dough or plasticine. The advantages of this material are that both finger and stationary puppets can be made from it. To make characters, you need to prepare:

The modeling process for a child is quite difficult, so an adult needs to demonstrate step by step how to make this or that figure. At the same time, it is still worth leaving the opportunity for the child to express his imagination. If a human figure is needed for staging, you can sculpt it as follows:

  1. From a piece of pasta measuring 2 * 3 cm, you need to roll up a sausage, and then form a cylinder out of it. It should resemble with its figure a nesting doll with a torso and a head. At the bottom of the cylinder, make a notch for the finger.
  2. Separately sculpt the handles that need to be attached to the body.
  3. All facial features can be done with a stack or a plasticine knife.
  4. You can paint the character after the paste dries and hardens.

Paper heroes of fairy tales

Paper dolls are very easy to make, but they can be disposable as they tear easily during use. The sizes of dolls depend on personal preferences. They can be worn on the finger or on the whole hand. To make a paper doll, you can cut out special templates along the contour, and then glue them in pairs so that both the back and the wrong side match the characters. There is an easier way to make paper dolls:

  1. From a sheet of colored paper, it is necessary to glue a small tube, for which the sheet is twisted and glued along the edge. Its dimensions depend on the type of puppet theater. The doll can be put on a finger or be stationary.
  2. On the resulting blanks, it is necessary to glue the elements of the face and hands, depending on the character.

Don't throw away plastic spoons.

You can also make dolls from improvised materials. Plastic spoons work great for this. For such characters, you need to prepare:

Additionally, you may need ready-made plastic eyes, as well as felt-tip pens or markers. After preparing all the necessary tools, you can proceed directly to the manufacture of dolls. For this you need:

  1. Glue eyes to the convex side of the spoon or draw them.
  2. Wrap the fabric around the handle of the spoon and tie it with a ribbon so that you get a dress. If a male character is being made, then a bow tie can be glued at the junction of the handle and the convex part of the spoon.
  3. Make hair out of colored paper. To do this, cut a fringe on one side of the strip, and then glue the whole part to the convex part of the spoon.

You can use other improvised materials. For example, you can make Smeshariki from disks with your own hands or take ice cream sticks.

Socks will help

Very quickly you can make a puppet theater out of socks with your own hands. For the manufacture of such characters, you must adhere to the following instructions:

Scenery for performances

Particular attention should be paid to decorations. The easiest way to make them is from thick cardboard. To do this, you need to draw the necessary element on the cardboard, and then cut it out along the contour. Additionally, you need to glue clothespins to the decoration, which will be used to attach decorations to the screen. It is recommended to disguise them, since fasteners must not spoil the view of the scene or attract attention. Therefore, clothespins should be disguised as part of the decoration, for example, under a flower or mushroom figurine. The number of clothespins depends on the size of the decoration itself.

Theater screen

The screen is the basis of the puppet theater in kindergarten. Its appearance depends on the type of theater. It can be just a fabric curtain, which can be used to close the hole under the table. In this case, all actions will take place at the level of the table top. You can also make a dollhouse out of fabric with your own hands, patterns for which you can draw yourself. If a do-it-yourself puppet theater is made on the fingers or glove puppets are used, then a table screen will be needed. It can be made from different materials.

The plywood screen will turn out to be very light, while it will live for more than one year. For manufacturing, you need to prepare:

  • plywood;
  • jigsaw;
  • wallpaper or fabric;
  • door hinges.

  1. Cut out 3 blanks from the base material, that is, one central part and two sidewalls. They must be pasted over with a cloth or wallpaper.
  2. After all three parts are dry, they need to be connected using door hinges. This will allow you to close the screen and fold it.

In a similar way, you can make a screen out of cardboard. However, it is recommended to make it three-layer, which will significantly increase the strength of the structure. It is not necessary to connect the parts with door hinges, they can simply be sewn.

The age of the kids who go to kindergarten makes special demands directly on the action itself. For a theatrical performance, it is recommended to choose simple, uncomplicated plots that, nevertheless, can teach important life things. Gradually, the repertoire can be increased, while periodically returning to already staged performances. The peculiarity of children is that they quickly get tired and stop paying attention to any subject. This means that the duration of the performance should not exceed 10-15 minutes. Additionally, you can use musical accompaniment.

A puppet theater in kindergarten will help not only to reveal the talents of each child, but also to unite the team. And not only at the stage of staging fairy tales, but also in the process of making dolls. Children will definitely be delighted and will definitely not forget the emotions that they experienced at these moments.

Educator: Stroganova Vera Yurievna

In my theatrical work with children, I use various types of theater: table theater on sticks; theater on the carpet; finger theater; masque; theater on capsules; shadow theater; theater Bi-ba-bo; theater on clothespins; reel theater, marionette theatre, etc.

I bring to your attention some types of theater, made by hand.

Children really like to play theater, invent and beat fairy tales themselves. These types of theater are very convenient in that they can be shown both behind a screen and anywhere in the group. The theater is constantly replenished. Some children made a theater by analogy and at home. Play performances with parents and relatives.

Theater on sticks

For this type of theater, the guys and I used ice cream sticks.

Found, cut and glued to the sticks images of animals, cartoon characters

Target: Improving the ability to invent and expressively tell fairy tales.

Tasks:

3. Develop creative imagination, speech, fine motor skills of hands.

Theater on sticks

"Vegetable Dispute"

For this kind of theater, the guys and I used chopsticks.

We found, cut out and glued images of vegetables to the sticks.

Target:

Tasks:

2. Learn to convey the characteristic features of fairy-tale characters.

Finger theater

Think up, show and tell a fairy tale

For this type of theater, the guys and I made mini-cups (origami) out of paper. Parents printed characters from various fairy tales on a printer, we cut out and pasted their images on mini cups.

Target: Improve the ability to invent and expressively tell fairy tales.

Tasks:

2. Learn to convey the characteristic features of fairy-tale characters.

4. Develop fine motor skills of the hands, namely, teach children to move their index finger in accordance with the text.

5. Improve telling a familiar tale.

Capsule theater

"The Tale of the Stupid Mouse"

For this type of theater, the guys and I used capsules from Kinder Surprise. They found, cut out and glued images of animals to the capsules.

Target: Improve the ability to recall and expressively tell fairy tales.

Tasks:

2. Learn to convey the characteristic features of fairy-tale characters.

3. Develop creative imagination, variability of thinking, the ability to compose a joint consistent text, develop speech.

Reel theater

"Where the sparrow dined"

Here we used spools of thread (from old stock).

They found, cut out and glued images of animals to the coils. Images are stable, it is very convenient to move characters.

Target: Improve the ability to recall and expressively tell fairy tales.

Tasks:

2. Learn to convey the characteristic features of fairy-tale characters.

3. Develop creative imagination, speech, variability of thinking, the ability to compose a joint consistent text.

4. Improve telling a familiar tale.

Clothespin theater

"Under the Mushroom"

Well, here clothespins were glued to the pictures. We thought over the structure of the box (they glued strips of cardboard to the bottom in it so that the characters could be attached to the foreground, to the background) and the theater is ready. The characters are stacked after playing the box. Very comfortably.

Target: Improve the ability to recall and expressively tell fairy tales.

Tasks:

2. Learn to convey the characteristic features of fairy-tale characters.

3. Develop creative imagination, speech, variability of thinking, the ability to compose a joint consistent text.

4. Develop fine motor skills of hands

5. Improve telling a familiar tale

Making a theater with your own hands is not so difficult. To do this, you only need a desire, a little patience, and your fairy tale will come true.

Thank you for your attention!

Good day, dear colleagues! Creativity, as you know, has a healing power. When you master something, you relax, meditate.

Friends, colleagues, today I want to present you my collection of dolls. I won’t say exactly when my hobby began, somehow, little by little, at.

Hello dear colleagues. In our kindergarten "Lebedushka", a rather large area with a lot of greenery, but among.

I present to you my new hobby. Teachers' salaries are low, so I had to find additional income.

Do you and your baby like fairy tales and interesting stories? How about getting together and spending time with the whole family? Do you want to arrange a small holiday for yourself in the middle of everyday life? Then it's time for home theater! Organizing a performance is not so difficult and can become an exciting game in itself. Today we'll walk you through how to do it in detail and offer you some great ideas to get you inspired.

The day of the performance is very exciting and filled with pleasant chores for the whole family. It will be interesting for everyone from young to old to participate in the preparation: dad can be entrusted with designing the scene, and older children will probably want to draw a poster and get some kind of role.

It is very cool to play in the theater on a cloudy and rainy day, when you don’t want to go outside and want to spend time at home in a fun, interesting and useful way. Although on a fine day in the country, you can arrange a performance in the fresh air. And this is a great entertainment during the holidays, when other families with children come to visit you.

Choose together which performance you will stage. It is better to choose stories that are simple, well-known and interesting to the baby. For example, folk tales ("Kolobok", "Teremok", "Turnip"), stories and poems from the child's favorite books are well suited.

A very important and exciting part of the preparation, which in itself can become an educational game, is drawing posters and tickets. Tickets are just small pieces of paper that say "Ticket". Instruct the child to deliver the tickets to the audience, for him it will be an honorable duty. You can draw a small poster on an A4 sheet, or on a larger paper, then the main part is drawn by adults and older children. Be sure to write the name in capital letters. You can draw characters or a scene from a fairy tale, indicate the names of the actors.

Actors, meanwhile, can prepare, remember a fairy tale, and adults will come to their aid. How to help the baby memorize simple poems, we have already written before.

Decorating the scene

Preparing a stage for a home theater with your own hands is a very responsible and creative task that will take time, and it is better to plan it for one of the days before the performance. All your efforts will certainly be justified, because a beautiful and made with soul scene will come in handy for you to play more than once.

You can make a stage out of a box - both a large one from under household appliances, and a small one, for example, from under dishes or toys, then you will get a mini-theater. Decorate the stage to your taste with the baby, build a curtain. You can prepare a backdrop and scenery specifically for the performance. Here are some ideas on how to do this.

An even simpler option is a curtain in the doorway, especially if you know how to sew.

Or you can just cover a couple of chairs or a table with a blanket - and the stage is ready!

Making puppet actors

Another interesting and very simple idea is to draw faces or muzzles on plastic spoons.

Many kids love finger puppets. While playing with them, we also train fine motor skills. Craftswomen mothers can sew or knit such dolls. And you can cut them out of ordinary household gloves in a couple of minutes or just draw faces on your fingers.

Home shadow theater

A shadow theater performance is always a special sacrament. Meanwhile, adding a little magic to your life is not so difficult. First we need to make a screen. For this, a lid from a box (for example, a shoe box) is useful, in the wall of which we cut a window and glue a sheet of paper (ordinary office paper or tracing paper) on top. In addition, you can use a white cloth in a doorway as a screen. Figures for the theater of shadows are cut out of cardboard. You can draw them yourself, print templates from the Internet or buy ready-made ones. The cardboard figure will need to be attached to a stick, for example, from Chupa-Chups.

Also, the shadows of animals can be obtained with the help of hands. On a sunny day or in a dark room with a table lamp on, show your baby how to do it. And this is also a great way to stretch your fingers.

Well, that's all, the preparations are over, the guests are on the ground, the lights go out, and the stage is illuminated by a table lamp. Support the little puppeteer, because he is very worried at this moment. And be prepared to take on most of the performance. If a child stumbles somewhere, help, pick it up. The performance itself can be quite short, for a few minutes. In any case, relatives will be delighted and will not stint on praise and applause, because everyone did a great job!

Instruction

Start preparing for a performance with a script. It is best to write it on a computer. Find the right one. Write down what decorations you need. Write what is on the stage at the moment the action begins. It looks like this. "Forest clearing. Under the trees there is a hut for chickens. A cat is sleeping near the threshold. Write down the words for the roles and actions of the characters.

Theatrical puppets are different. For home use gloves are the best. Visit your nearest toy store. Perhaps there is something suitable there, since theatrical dolls are sold individually and in sets. Try to pick them up so that they fit each other in style.

If the dolls you need are not in the store, make them yourself. This will be even better as you can make characters according to each actor's hand size. Perhaps you have gloves lying around, a pair of which is lost, or old mittens. They can be very useful. At the glove, cut off the tips of the index and middle fingers. Cut them lengthwise so that the cuts are in contact with each other. Do the same with your ring finger and little finger.

Sew in pairs the sections of the index and middle fingers. Do the same with the ring and little fingers. Instead of five fingers on the glove, it turned out three. From shreds or pieces of fur, make hands or paws. Cut out 2 small circles, gather them around the edge with a needle-forward seam, insert small pieces of foam rubber and tighten. Sew the balloons to the hands of the toy.

Make a head. This is also a circle of fabric or border. In the same way as when making hands, gather a circle around the edge, stuff and tighten. Connect the head and torso with a cardboard tube and sew. Decorate the head as you wish. Facial features can be embroidered or appliquéd with pieces of felt. Hair is made from fur or woolen threads. At the same time, the threads are folded in half and sewn to the head in a checkerboard pattern. To make a bunny or a bear have ears, insert pieces of cardboard into them. You can use heads from broken toys.

Take care of the screen. If you don't have a real one yet, stretch a rope across the room and hang a blanket over it. True, in this case, the opportunity to put the scenery is very small. You can decorate the screen itself with flowers or trees. For a more solid screen, you need to take 2 chairs and a board. Place the chairs back to back at some distance, and put a board on top. Drape the structure. You can put a house made of a cardboard box and trees on it.

Feeling that your passion for the theater is serious and for a long time, make a real screen. It can be large or portable, which is placed on the table. You will need 3 boards of the same length and 2 or 4 door hinges. Connect the boards with door hinges. Nail wide wooden blocks to the bottom of the screen so that it is stable. You can make a stationary drapery, or you can simply close the screen with a piece of fabric.

Decorations are attached to such a screen with buttons or carnations. Try to make a design that will suit several performances. You can also make double-sided decorations. For example, on one side the house will be wooden, and on the other - brick.

Of course, screens and puppets are primarily important in a puppet theater, but the role of scenery should not be underestimated either. Without scenery, it is difficult for the audience to determine the place where the action takes place, all events seem to be torn out of reality and suspended in the air, and the whole performance looks deliberately rustic, as if done in haste, even if you spent a whole month on rehearsals. Personally, the empty black "pit" of the scene makes me sad. On the other hand, even a simple scene played out in beautiful scenery looks advantageous and makes a much stronger impression. Therefore, my advice to you is to spend a little time and decorate your performance with scenery appropriate for the scene, the audience will definitely appreciate it.

Making decorations with your own hands is not at all difficult. This illustrated tutorial focuses on flat cardboard home decorations. The action of many fairy tales and fables takes place in the house or in its immediate vicinity, so the scenery of the choir, huts, shacks and other houses will be useful to every home puppet theater.

Before starting work, I want to draw your attention to several important points that must be considered when making the decoration of any home:

Dolls next to the house should not seem too big or too small, unless, of course, this is part of the plot of the fairy tale. Therefore, if this is not a bear at the house, not an elephant at the house of a mouse, and not godfather Pumpkin at his kennel, then the house should be higher than the characters living in it. The scenery of this master class is designed for ordinary glove puppets with rubber heads, familiar to all of us from childhood, which rise 20 centimeters above the bed. Therefore, the decoration of the house for such puppets should be 25-30 cm high. For a small scene, make an ordinary house higher impractical. The other extreme, where the house is huge compared to the hero, unless it is the giant's castle next to Puss in Boots, should also be avoided. On stage, you create a miniature fantasy world in which everything should fit together as best as possible.

The scenery of the house is usually located in the foreground and acts as a right or left backstage. That is, the doll must be able to completely hide behind the decoration (enter the house), which means that the decoration itself must be at least 15 cm wide and not see through. In this case, the hero can come out from behind her unexpectedly and will be seen by the audience no earlier than required by the plot. But such a narrow house is only suitable if it does not have a slotted window through which the doll must look out in the course of action. Such a window should be large enough so that the doll can effortlessly, without shaking the scenery, stick its head through the hole. For ordinary dolls with rubber heads, the optimal size of a slotted window is 10x10 cm. Accordingly, the width of a house with a slotted window increases to 20-30 cm, and if the house also has a canopy or porch, then up to 35-40 cm.

If you depict an asymmetrical house with a porch or a vestibule, then you need to take into account that the backstage hut can be right or left, depending on which side of the stage it is located. Therefore, before making the scenery, you need to think over the very action of the performance and decide which side is more convenient to place the house on the stage and where, in accordance with the location of the house on the stage, the porch should be located.

Try to make the outline of the decoration as simple and smooth as possible, so that later it would be convenient to cut it out of cardboard, and the small protrusions would not come off and become ragged.

Now take a regular sheet of A3 or A2 paper and, following the rules described above, draw a house for your performance on it.

If you are painting the house of a merchant or a wealthy peasant, then emphasize the wealth of the owner by depicting the house as new, built of solid light logs, cover the roof with elegant tiles and decorate the architraves with carvings or bright paintings. Of course, not only human heroes can live in such a house, but also animal heroes, for example, the Cat and the Rooster from the fairy tale “The Cat, the Rooster and the Fox”.

If you draw a poor man's shack, then, on the contrary, depict the house as dark, grown into the ground, overgrown with moss, covered with old straw. The same hut can become a suitable home for a forest bear or other forest animal.

If you didn’t succeed in depicting houses as beautifully as the wonderful artist from Astrakhan Elena Davydova did, don’t be discouraged. Right now you can download her drawings in good resolution to your computer, and then print them on a color inkjet printer. Since the house does not fit on one A4 sheet, it is divided into two parts in the file. The houses are large, so don't forget to set the maximum printable area in the printer settings.

To download a file with finished images, right-click on the desired link, select "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As..." and save the file to disk; you need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to open it.

After you have drawn or printed a drawing, you need to cut out a base for decoration from plain paper. After all, she has not only the upper part visible to the audience, but also a hidden one, located below the level of the garden. From a sheet of white paper, cut a strip 4-5 cm longer than the bottom of the picture and 5 cm wide. The strip may not be continuous, but composite, because it will be glued onto cardboard anyway. The base of the set will not be visible to the audience, so there is no need to paint it.

Now you need to glue all the parts of the scenery onto the cardboard. For these purposes, corrugated cardboard from ordinary packing boxes with a thickness of 2-3 mm is perfect. If you use thicker corrugated cardboard, then it will be difficult for you to cut out the finished decoration from it, and it will not be so convenient to mount it on the screen. Our decoration should keep its shape well and not bend under its own weight, so it is not advisable to use whatman paper or thin coated cardboard instead of corrugated cardboard.

Using a utility knife, cut the box into individual sheets without folds.

Lubricate the reverse side of the picture (half of the upper part of the decoration) with glue (for more reliable gluing, it is better to use not glue sticks, but PVA glue), and then glue it on a sheet of cardboard so that at least 5 cm remains between the edge of the sheet and the bottom of the picture for gluing the base. Then glue butt the second half of the house. Try to match the details of the pattern on both halves of the decoration as accurately as possible.

Now glue the prepared strip of paper with glue, which will serve as the base of the decoration, and glue it along the bottom border of the picture with a shift in the desired direction. If this is a left-hand link, as in our case, then its base should have a protrusion on the right, and if it is a right-hand link, then the protrusion should be on the left. Anything above the base will be visible to viewers, so make sure there are no unpainted areas.

So that the cardboard does not lead or warp when the glue dries, leave the decoration to dry under pressure (put a few thick books on top).

When the glue dries, use a utility knife to carefully cut out the outline of the house along with the base. It is better not to use scissors, otherwise the whole cardboard will be in ugly creases. But if there is no clerical knife at hand, then try not to lead the scissors along the contour, as when cutting from thin flexible paper, but free the contour from excess cardboard, cutting it into small pieces. Be especially careful when cutting out the window.

In the same way, we will turn into a blank for decoration and a drawing of a poor shack.

We will fix the decoration of the house on the screen with the help of two clothespins. For this purpose, any plastic or wooden clothespins with flat sides without protruding parts are suitable. Plastic clothespins are more convenient than wooden ones, because they open wider.

One clothespin will hold the decoration by the ledge of the base, and for the second clothespin we need a hole. To cut it, place the clothespin against the decoration so that the metal clip of the spring is flush with the "bed" line, and trace with a pencil the part of the clothespin that is above the base of the decoration.

Using a utility knife, carefully cut a rectangular hole in the decoration and make sure that the clothespin can be easily inserted and removed easily. Expand the hole slightly if necessary.

But it's too early to announce our cabins ready. If we now fix any of them on the screen, then through the window it will shine through - the background behind the house and all the movements of the dolls inside the house will be visible to the audience. This is not very beautiful, so we will give our house a false volume by attaching an additional curtain from a light, plain dark-colored fabric on the back of the house. The curtain will make the decoration of the house opaque, hide the movements of the dolls inside the house from the audience, and the doll will be able to look out the window by diving under this curtain. At the same time, behind the head of the doll there will be a contrasting background that favorably sets off its background, against which it will look good. Choose a fabric for curtains that is not dense. During the performance, the stage is usually brightly lit from the side of the auditorium, which will make the curtain translucent from the side of the actors, which will make it easier to control the puppet looking out of the window. Also, do not take a shiny fabric so that it does not glare from bright light.

Flip the house decoration over, place the fabric so that it covers the entire window, and use a pencil to mark the top side of the rectangle. Remove the fabric, apply a strip of Moment universal glue to the marked line, carefully attach the fabric and press it against the cardboard.

Lay the decoration horizontally, with the glued cloth facing up, in a well-ventilated area and allow the glue to dry.

And now, so that the clothespins with which we will fix the house do not spoil the view of the scene, we will also decorate them. To learn how to do this, read the master class:

If you did not draw the scenery yourself, but used the beautiful drawings of Elena Davydova, then in the files you downloaded on the fourth page there are ready-made pictures for decorating clothespins.

Cut out the images along the contour, turn them upside down, and then, using universal glue, glue a clothespin on the back of each picture so that the clothespin is not visible from the front side.

After the glue dries, you will get these cute sets of decorative clothespins:

But that's not all. Each house, if there are more than two of them on the stage (on the left and on the right), needs a paired backstage to it, which will occupy the opposite side of the stage, balance the composition and allow the puppets approaching the house not to appear “out of the ground” in front of the audience . If the action of the performance takes place in the yard, then it is logical to use a fence suitable for the house as a steam room, behind which fruit trees can be located.

If the house is rich, then the fence must be drawn to match it - strong and solid.

And opposite the poor shack, the fence should be depicted as old, flimsy and rickety.

Since the fence is also a backstage, it must be opaque and of sufficient size so that the doll can come out from behind it (15-20 cm wide and 25-30 cm high.) You can print paired decorations for fences for houses from this MK from the page 3 corresponding files.

The scenery itself is made in exactly the same way as the scenery of the huts, only the ledge of the base of the scenery should be located on the opposite side of the ledge of the house decoration, because they will be on opposite sides of the stage.
