Gamora is a singer. Gamora biography

Serezha Local started his solo career relatively recently. But this rapper is already well known to fans for his work in the team. Serezha's lyrics reflect Russian realities without embellishment, as well as the inner world of the artist himself. In addition, Local often raises the topic of drugs in his work, which was also close to him at a certain period of his life. Now Seryozha Local is a serious musician working under the guidance of the famous and "CAO".

Childhood and youth

Serezha Local (real name - Sergey Alexandrovich Fedorovich) was born in the city of Kirov on June 19, 1989. The boy was eight years old when the family moved to Togliatti, Samara region. Given that Sergei's childhood fell on the 90s and the devastation that followed the period of perestroika, the boy's parents plunged headlong into the financial support of the family, and there was little time left to raise their son.

The move was not easy for Sergey: it was hard for the boy to part with his friends, the period of adaptation to the new city, school, teachers and classmates was even more difficult. Against this background, the boy's relationship with his parents deteriorated and school performance decreased.

At the age of 14, Sergei met his first youthful love, which he successfully clothed in the lyrical texts of future songs. Soon the guy found new friends and like-minded people with whom he rapped together. However, time passed, friends grew up, entered universities and began their careers as ordinary managers and economists. And only Sergei, who by that time had already graduated from school No. 14 in the city of Tolyatti, dreams of the glory of a hip-hop artist were haunted.

Having received a certificate, the young man could not decide not only on the university, but even on his future profession. The parents insisted on getting a serious profession, and the son kept dreaming about the stage when the summons came to call the guy into the ranks of the Russian army. Having served in the North Caucasus, Fedorovich matured and finally decided on what he wants to devote his life to.

During the period of service in the armed forces, the young man matured, his firm principles of life were formed. The nature of the poems, which Fedorovich continued to write even away from home, also changed. In addition, a tattooed inscription appeared on the arm of the future musician, which read: “It is said and done.”

Music

The real musical career of Serezha Local began in 2008, when Fedorovich joined the group called "Kurs". At first, the guys performed on the streets of the city and at friendly parties. Soon, the work of "Kurs" attracted the attention of novice producers, and their songs became more and more popular.

In 2011, the group changed its name, now the team performed under the name "Gamora". In the same year, the guys recorded their debut album "Times", but it did not bring popularity to rappers. But a year later, in 2012, Gamora released the album EP No. 2, which became much more successful.

The team gave its first concerts in small provincial clubs, performed as an opening act for more famous performers. But Gamora did not pass the test of fame. In the summer of 2012, a conflict arose in the team with one of its members, Seryoga Lin, related to the distribution of finances.

After the collapse of the group, Sergey took up a solo career and even recorded several songs together with more famous rappers - Dj Benny and others. But realizing that in Togliatti his opportunities are limited, the aspiring rapper moved to Moscow. The impetus for the move was a private conversation with a famous colleague from Moscow, Ptakha, who offered his help and cooperation to Fedorovich.

Already in 2013, Serezha Mestny signed a contract with the recording studio "CAO Records" and began work on creating the first full-fledged solo album. For a number of compositions, the rapper shot clips that appealed to the first fans of Fedorovich's work. His early work was perceived by the public as a hip-hop adaptation of the biography of the artist himself.

A number of songs by Serezha Local touch on the topic of drug use, which is also popular in the work of other rappers. There is information in the media that all members of the Gamora team used marijuana to increase their creative potential.

In 2013, Local released a third album called Alternately. The tracks recorded as part of the album are characterized by deep basses and vital themes of the texts, but the author himself considers this work unsuccessful.

A few months later, Fedorovich released the next disc - "Krugozor", which is a collection of previously known songs and new compositions. Fans praised the album as groovy and original.

Then for three years the rapper toured the country with concerts in support of already released albums and was preparing to record the next one. But it was released only in 2016 and consisted of only six compositions, including the popular "News on the cities".

Personal life

Despite the autobiographical nature of the rapper's work, Seryozha Local does not like to talk about his personal life. Once in an interview, he mentioned that he plans to marry upon reaching 27 years old, but so far the performer has not married.

And given that Fedorovich also does not like to be photographed, the photos that would tell fans about the rapper's personal life are on his page in

Songs performed in the style of rap cause conflicting feelings among music lovers. This is more popular among today's youth, who grew up on Decl's texts. Rap originated in the poor neighborhoods of America in the mid-70s and instantly won the love of teenagers. There are not so many representatives who read real Russian rap. One of them is Seryozha Local. His surname is sonorous, but not known to everyone. Let's talk about this guy in more detail.

Seryozha Local. Biography. Childhood

The real name of the rapper is Fedorovich. He was born on June 19, 1989 in the city of Kirov. Sergei's childhood fell on a time of perestroika and shortages. The guy's parents are far from music and pop art, they were always looking for a better life. The boy was about eight years old when the family moved to Tolyatti (Samara region). Behind were friends, familiar life and the first childhood love. I had to get used to the new city, he began to study worse and be rude to his parents.

The biography of Serezha Local as a musician began at the age of 14. The teenager was faced with youthful true love, and this resulted in the first lyrics. At first he just wrote poetry, but at some point he decided to read them in rap style. Among his classmates and friends in the yard, he found those who shared his interests in music and were ready to move mountains together.

"Hot" service

In 2006, the guy graduated from high school No. 14 in the city of Togliatti, but could not fully decide on the choice of profession. Dreams of popularity jumped in his head, and his mother demanded to grow up and think about the future. Many of his associates in rap art have long stepped into adulthood. While the guy was thinking what to do next, Sergey came and firmly decided to repay his debt to the Motherland and served a year and a half in the North Caucasian Military District, where the guy had to serve, then it was considered a "hot spot". This did not in the least embarrass private Fedorovich, since he never looked for easy ways.

After returning from the army, the biography of Serezha Local was full of new events. Until 2008, almost no one knew the guy. After serving and returning home, he nevertheless decided to connect himself with music. But everything turned out to be not so simple.

First steps in rap direction

It was quite easy to find like-minded people, young people were en masse carried away by a new musical direction. Rap was listened to by everyone who was close to music that reflects reality. It was the dream of public fame that united six ordinary guys who lived in the same city.

After rehearsing a little together, the guys decided to create a group, which they called "Kurs". Serezha Local, Alex Manifesto, Pavlik Farmaceft, Atsel Rj, Serezha Lin and DOODA are the original line-up of the group. The name was promising, and at first everything worked out in their favor. The young men began to perform in the yards and at parties of friends, and then word of mouth played its role. The creativity of young guys was noticed, then there were people who were ready to help promote their songs.

Serge Local. "Gamora". Biography

In 2011, the guys decided to rename the group. A new sonorous name appeared - "Gamora". Young people tried hard to achieve fame, but the path to fame, as you know, is thorny. Having given away all their savings, they begin recording their first full disc. The album "Times" appeared in the same year. A year later, the presentation of "EP No. 2" took place, which made a splash in Gamora's career.

But it so happened that the biography of Serezha Local turned sharply to the side. In the summer of 2012, the Gamora group ceased to exist. Young people quarreled (according to rumors, because of money) and the team broke up.

career alone

After such events, Sergei did not become discouraged, but began to perform solo. At first it was unusual, but soon the guy realized that everything went even better. He recorded many tracks with Pavlik Farmaceft, Dj Benny and Ksana. At the beginning of 2013, the biography of Serezha Local again fundamentally changed. The thing is that he moved to Moscow, where he began to work together with CAO Records on recording solo albums.

Of his brighter songs, one can name "Chalk of Destiny", "Musi-Pusi", "Breath of the Streets", "Poison". They gained popularity thanks to realistic clips that stir the soul. Young people perceive Seryoga Local's tracks as an autobiographical story composed of rap texts.

moments of truth

Songs on the topic of drug addiction often pop up in the guy's albums. Some of them, such as "Antokha" or "Paranoia", are written as if the young man knows firsthand about the problems of drug addicts.

It has long been known that all the guys performing at Gamora dabbled in marijuana. Young people, like many of their generation, believed that it helps to fulfill themselves and achieve relaxation after an exhausting creative day. Some of them went further, while others had the strength to stop there. Fortunately, this dangerous occupation did not prevent Serezha Local from fulfilling his plans and self-realization.

Biography

Early life

Childhood with Thanos

Little Gamora and Thanos.

When Thanos attacked Zen-Hoberis, Gamora and her mother hid. However, they were found and separated. Once in front of Thanos, the girl loudly asked where her mother was. Thanos was surprised at the courage of such a baby and showed her a masterfully made blade, with perfect balance. By doing this, he diverted the attention of Gamora, and she did not see how her mother and other representatives of her people were killed. So Gamora fell into the ranks of the adopted children of Thanos.

Gamora was raised by Thanos and Ronan, who wanted to make her a high-profile assassin. Therefore, parts of her body were cybernetically altered. Gamora's main rival was Nebula. Thanos had other pupils, but only these two treated each other like sisters. Also, both harbored hatred for Thanos for the fact that he deprived them of their childhood.

Thanos forced Nebula and Gamora to regularly arrange fights against each other. Gamora always won, and for this, Thanos “improved” Nebula after each battle - he replaced parts of her body. Nebula resented this, she needed not a victory, but a sister.

Start searching for the Orb

As Gamora and Nebula grew up, Thanos ordered them to find a powerful artifact called the Orb. Back then, Nebula and Gamora worked under Korath. Nebula went to Praxius IX, with Gamora joining her later as reinforcements. After finding Nebula, Gamora saw that she was trapped (a huge network), and the location of the Orb remained unknown. Thanos ordered Gamora to leave Nebula, and she left, but left Nebula with a knife. Because of this, the sisters quarreled even more, and Gamora's hatred for Thanos intensified. He, on the contrary, began to treat Gamora better than Nebula - because she was stronger.

Years later, Gamora's skills have earned her the title of "the most dangerous woman in the galaxy."

In Search of the Sphere

Ronan's betrayal

Gamora on Ronan's ship.

Thanos asked Ronan to assist in the search for the Orb, in return promising him the complete destruction of Xandar. Nebula and Gamora were supposed to work for Ronan. This was the last straw for Gamora - she did not want to participate in the murder of millions of innocent people. At the same time, Gamora met the Collector, who saw the Sphere as a great addition to his collection. So, Tivan hired Gamora to give the artifact to him.

Gamora argues with Nebula.

Gamora agreed, intending to find the Orb first, give it to the Collector, and use the money she earned to get rid of Thanos' control. After meeting with Tivan, Gamora was confronted by Nebula, who thought that her sister wanted to bypass her and become the leader. Gamora left the Dark Aster, Ronan's ship, in the company of the Sakaarans, whom she killed on the way to Xandar.

Meeting with Star Lord

During the fight with Quill.

Gamora found the Orb, which was then in the possession of Peter Quill, on Xandar. A fight ensued between them for the artifact, which was also joined by Groot and Rocket (these two needed Quill). The incredible skills of the killer allowed Gamora to repel the attacks of all opponents, including the strong Groot. The fight was broken up by the Nova Corps, who immediately realized that all four were hardened criminals, and hid them in the Kiln prison.

On the Kyln.

The news that Ronan and Thanos' henchman had arrived on the Kyln spread quickly. And since the two had harmed so many in all corners of the galaxy, a dispute ensued among the prisoners, who would be honored to avenge the deaths of their loved ones and kill Gamora. The most ardent among them was Drax. Gamora remained calm - Thanos had worse things happen. At night, an attempt was made to kill her, but the attackers were stopped by Quill, who convinced the inmates that Gamora hated Thanos and Ronan no less than they did, and if she was killed, it would be impossible to find the villains.

During the escape.

Gamoré told Quill, Groot, and Rocket that she had a buyer for the Orb. So, she managed to enlist their support, and in case of successful completion of the transaction, it was decided to divide the production. The next day, an escape plan was devised, but things went awry as Groot acted too early. Also joining Gamora and the others was Drax, who was obsessed with getting even with Ronan. The fugitives took the Orb, Quill Milano's spaceship, and some other valuables, after which they left the prison.

Immediately after this, an argument arose: Drax insisted that the Orb should be used to destroy Ronan, and Gamora did not agree with him. Moreover, she refused to tell who exactly her buyer is. In a word, the spirit of distrust for each other hovered in the team. But its members had to work together.

Attempt to sell the Orb

Gamora and the others arrived at Oblivion. While waiting for the Collector's appointment, Gamora and Quill talked and tried to make contact. They were interrupted by a brawl between Drax, Rocket and Groot, who had to be separated. Fortunately, the Collector soon called them to him.

At the Collector.

The collector showed the guests his museum and told them about the Sphere. However, during the transfer of the artifact to the Collector, an incident occurred, or rather, an explosion provoked by Tivan's assistant Karina. It was then that Gamora realized all the danger that the Sphere is fraught with. It was decided to transfer the artifact to someone more reliable, for example, the Nova Corps. Other members of the team did not agree with this, and began to offer other options.

Battle of Oblivion

Gamora is close to death.

Gamora wanted to take the Orb and leave, but she did not have time to do this, as Ronan and Nebula arrived, who, after a short struggle, took the Orb with them. Gamora ended up in outer space and was about to die, but Quill saved her, and also called for help from his former comrades, the Ravagers.

Battle for Xandar

On the Dark Astra

Gamora, Quill, Drax, Groot, and Rocket teamed up with the Ravagers and the Nova Corps to protect the planet Xandar, which Ronan intended to completely destroy. Gamora and her allies infiltrated Ronan's ship, the Dark Aster. It was very dark in there, but Groot was lighting the way with his arguments.

Attempts to reason with Nebula.

Nebula attacked the group in an attempt to protect Ronan and get revenge on Gamora. Drax fired at Nebula, but she survived. Gamora got into a fight with her sister. Gamora managed to push Nebula off the ship, but Nebula grabbed the edge with a cybernetic hand. Gamora tried to talk to her sister and convince her that Ronan was insane, trying to drag her onto the ship along the way. But Nebula did not want to listen - she cut off her own hand, landed on the Ravager ship and flew away.

Gamora under Groot's protection.

Gamora managed to turn off the ship's defense generator, and the others got to the control panel. There, Star-Lord attempted to shoot Ronan with his hadron booster, but the villain was too powerful and retaliated. Luckily, Rocket saved his friends by crashing his ship into Dark Aster. But in the end, Ronan's ship began to fall on Xandar. Friends could have died if Groot had not protected them at the cost of his own life. Everyone survived except for Groot, whose body was shattered into pieces.

Killing Ronan

After Ronan's death.

Ronan was about to destroy Xandar with the Orb, but Quill distracted him and Drax fired his hadron booster. The Infinity Stone from the Orb ended up in Quill's hands, and it became obvious that his body could not withstand the huge amount of energy that the artifact stored in itself. To distribute this energy, Gamora took Peter's hand. Drax and Rocket also followed suit. Together they held back a huge force, directed it at Ronan and killed him.

Xandar was saved. Yondu Udonta demanded the Orb that Quill had promised him. Despite Gamora's pleas, Peter kept his promise and the Ravagers left Xandar. Then it turned out that Star-Lord had made the switch, and the Stone remained with him.

Effects

The Guardians of the Galaxy leave Xandar.

The sphere was given to the Nova Corps for safekeeping, and the Guardians of the Galaxy were written off for all their crimes. Gamora talked to Drax about how Ronan was now destroyed, but he replied that Ronan was just a pawn and now Thanos had to be killed.

Gamora, Peter, and the others set out on their next adventure.

Encounter with ego

Work for the Sovereign

Gamora during the battle with the Abilisk.

The Guardians of the Galaxy became popular, and they began to be hired to perform certain tasks. The Sovereign became another employer, whose inhabitants wanted to return the anulax batteries stolen by Abilisk. The task was completed, and the batteries returned to the owners. Their payment was Nebula, which was given to Gamora and could be sold to the Nova Corps for a tidy sum of money.

The Guardians of the Galaxy left the Sovereign and Gamora began to voice her displeasure with the way Peter was talking to Ayesha. Drax noticed that Quill was flirting with Gamora and later told him that they were completely unsuitable for each other. According to Drax, Gamora is not the type to dance, and Peter needs to find someone like him.

During the battle with sovereigns.

Suddenly the sovereigns unexpectedly attacked. It turned out that Rocket stole the batteries from them, and they wanted theirs back. The power was on the side of the sovereigns, but an unknown ally came to the aid of the Guardians, who destroyed the enemy ships with one blow.

Getting to know the ego

Guardians meet Ego.

It turned out that Ego, Quill's father, helped the Guardians. They met and Ego invited Peter and his friends to "his planet". Peter was skeptical about this, but Gamora assured him that he should get to know his father. The team had to split up - Gamora, Peter and Drax went along with Ego and his assistant Mantis, while Rocket stayed to repair the ship. Groot and Nebula stayed with him.

On the way to the planet, Mantis began to demonstrate her abilities as an empath and stated that Peter was in love with Gamora. Peter and Gamora felt awkward and Drax laughed his ass off. Then Mantis wanted to try her ability on Gamora, but she forbade her to do so.

On the planet ego

Gamora dances with Quill.

Ego gave a tour, after which Peter and Gamora were left alone for a while. They danced and Peter spoke about Drax's words. Gamora forbade him to tell anyone that she was dancing. She then expressed concern about what was happening on the planet: it seemed to her that Mantis and Ego were hiding something. Peter just brushed it off - he thought that Gamora was just jealous and envious that he had found a family.

Gamora left Peter, and then Nebula, who had been freed by that time, attacked her. They fought, and Nebula won the battle. She did not kill Gamora, but told her about her feelings. It turned out that as a child, Gamora always tried to win their fights, while Nebula just needed a sister. They decided to form an alliance.

The Guardians of the Galaxy save Quill.

Gamora discovered the bones in one of the caves and demanded an explanation from Mantis. She briefly spoke about the Expansion plan developed by Ego, and that Peter was in danger. Gamora and the others went to help him. Together, they rescued Quill from Ego and then boarded the ship that brought Rocket, Yondu Udonta, and Groot.

The battle with the ego

During the battle with Ego.

It became clear that the ego had to be dealt with. To do this, it was necessary to destroy the core of the planet. The task of the Guardians was also complicated by the fact that by that time the fleet of the Sovereign had also arrived at Ego. Mantis temporarily disabled Ego by putting him to sleep. During the battle, Nebula and Gamora had to work together. They managed to escape by reaching Kraglin's ship. However, Quill remained behind, risking his death in the planet's explosion. Gamora was about to rush to his aid, but Rocket stopped her. Quill survived - he was saved by Yondu, at the cost of his own life.

Yondu's funeral

The sisters reconciled.

Gamora attended Yondu's funeral. She tried to persuade Nebula to join the Guardians of the Galaxy, but she only wanted the destruction of Thanos. The sisters embraced, and Nebula went on her mission so that no one else would suffer because of him, as she and Gamora suffered. The Ravagers arrived at the burial site to pay their respects to Yondu. Gamora and Quill looked at the fireworks set by the Ravagers, hugging each other.

Return to Thanos

Meeting with Thor

After Gamora said goodbye to her sister Nebula, she and the Guardians of the Galaxy set off on a new ship to face new dangers. They heard a signal that was sent from an Asgardian freighter. Rocket felt it was a waste of time to help them, but Gamora knew she needed to help those in need. Peter was only interested in the money they could make from this operation. Gamora reacted to this disapprovingly.

Upon arrival, the Guardians found that they were too late and that the ship with the Asgardians had already been destroyed. Suddenly, a man with no signs of life crashed into their windshield. Rocket, mistaking him for a corpse, wanted to throw him off, but the man opened his eye. It was Thor - the last surviving representative of his people. The guards took him to their ship.

Peter was surprised that he was still alive. Gamora, having touched the muscles, immediately determined that this was not a person at all. Peter got jealous, and so he asked Gamora to stop. Mantis touched Thor's head and he woke up. He told how Thanos and his children attacked their ship, took the Tessaract from them, killed his brother in front of him and destroyed "half" of the Asgardians. Gamora, on the other hand, told that in childhood Thanos killed her parents, destroyed her people, and also revealed the true plan of the titan - to collect all the Infinity Stones and erase half of the universe with a snap of her fingers.

Drax blabbed that Gamora is Thanos' daughter. Thor at first wanted to bring down his anger on Gamora, but then he decided to sympathize with her and share his pain with her, since he had lost all his relatives. In addition, his own sister also did a lot of bad things. It seemed to Peter that Thor "had his eye" on Gamora, and therefore he became even more jealous. He didn't like that on his own ship an outsider was doing whatever he wanted: taking their food, taking their shuttle, and most importantly, showing no respect for Quill as the ship's captain.

Thor told Gamora that Thanos' next target is the Reality Stone, which is in the hands of the Collector. Gamora thought it was necessary to intercept, but Thor stated that he needed to forge a new hammer on Nidavellir to fight Thanos, and therefore took their shuttle. Rocket and Groot joined Thor while the others moved towards Oblivion.

Return to Oblivion

On the way to Oblivion, Gamora asked Quill to kill her if she fell into Thanos' hands again. Peter wanted to know the reasons for this decision, but Gamora only said that she had important information, and for the sake of Quill's safety, she did not want to divulge it. Reluctantly, Peter agreed.

Arriving on Oblivion, Gamora and the others saw Thanos torturing the Collector, wanting to know where the stone was. Peter felt that it was necessary to act according to the plan, but Gamora and Drax were eager to fight. Gamora attacked Thanos and mortally wounded him with the very blade she received as a gift. Everyone was surprised that the battle ended so quickly. Gamora burst into tears. She hated Thanos, but he was her father. Thanos noted out loud that it was now clear how Gamora felt about him. As it turns out, the Mad Titan's supposed death was just an illusion. Thanos has already taken possession of the Reality Stone and created the appearance of his death in order to test his daughter's feelings.

He was about to take her to Sanctuary II, neutralizing Drax and Mantis along the way, when Quill intervened. He threatened the titan that he would kill him if he didn't let Gamora go. Gamora asked Quill to keep his promise and kill her. Peter hesitated for a long time. Thanos told Gamora that Quill wasn't right for her because he was so weak. Thanos forced Quill to shoot, but with the help of the Reality Stone turned the projectile into soap bubbles. Laughing at Peter, Thanos, along with Gamora, teleported to his ship.

Conversations with father

On the ship, Thanos informed Gamora that he would like to hand over the rule to her, and also let her in on the details of his plan for universal genocide. Thanos explained that resources are not infinite, and in order for them to be enough for everyone, the population of the universe must be halved. And that after the invasion of Thanos on the planet Gamora, the remaining inhabitants found happiness. Gamora believed that Thanos had no right to this, and that he was insane.

In fact, Thanos had long known the information Gamora was trying so hard to hide from him - the location of the Soul Stone. He also knew that Gamora had found the stone, but she didn't tell him. Thanos showed Gamora a captive Nebula, in a semi-disassembled state, but still alive and in hellish torment. Nebula sneaked onto Thanos' ship in an attempt to kill him, and almost succeeded. Through a hologram projected from Nebula's eyes, the titan was able to prove that Gamora was lying. Thanos resumed torturing Nebula, threatening to tear her apart. Gamora could not stand such bullying of her sister and gave out the location of the stone. He was on Vormir. Thanos, fearing that his daughter was lying, took her with him.

Soul Stone Price

On Vormir, Thanos and Gamora were greeted by the Red Skull, the keeper of the Soul Stone, who had long ago been exiled there by the Tessaract. His curse is to know everyone who is on this planet, and show travelers the way to the soul stone. The keeper said that the price for the stone is incredibly high, but Thanos was ready for anything. The Red Skull could not agree with that. Upon arriving at their destination, the Red Skull said that in order to obtain the stone, Thanos must sacrifice the person he loved most.

Gamora triumphed. She believed that this was the failure of the titan, and that he had never loved anyone. Then Gamora saw tears in her father's eyes. The Red Skull said that it was not from the bitterness of defeat, but from the pain of the impending loss. Gamora couldn't believe that her father loved her. But Thanos loved Gamora and was willing to kill her for the stone. Gamora tried to kill herself with that very blade, but Thanos turned it into bubbles. He asked his daughter for forgiveness with tears in his eyes and threw her off a cliff. Gamora died and Thanos got the soul stone.

Mourning for Gamora

Quill, part of the Guardian team, and their new allies clashed with Thanos in a fierce fight, trying to immobilize him and pull off the Infinity Gauntlet. Peter, instead of helping, began to ask where Gamora was. Nebula guessed that she died on Vormir, since Thanos returned without her. Quill began to beat the Titan, thereby interfering with his partners. Thanos escaped, and the attempt to disable him failed.

Later, when Thanos collected all the stones of infinity, he fell into a vision. Little Gamora asked the titan if he had done what he had planned, and what it cost him. Thanos replied that he gave everything

I am surprised to note that for so many people and even rap lovers, the work of such a wonderful group as Gamora completely passed by. People simply do not know about them, there is a feeling that almost everyone missed them and did not catch them.

And by the way, according to many people, Gamora is the most underestimated Russian rap, it is the purest underground and a very high level.

Real rap Russian streets

Today on the Econ Dude blog we will talk about the work of these Volga rappers and think about why they didn’t shoot, where they disappeared and what is happening to them now.

When I say they didn't shoot, I mean this.

They took their place in culture and music, but they never reached a serious level and remained in the underground. The main reason, in my opinion, is this. In those days when they made videos and music, their tracks, this is about 2012, the Internet was not as developed as it is now. Since the group is regional, one might even say - provincial, they just did their own things, uploaded them to YouTube, that's all.

Moreover, when you look at Gamora, there are always misunderstandings in the sense that where are they all official?

Where is the Wiki article, where is the official YouTube channel and where is the public VK (here in fact)? Why is everything uploaded to the channel ELDAR MAHYANOV ?

Plus, YouTube is full of re-uploads, their videos are simply stolen, since they did not register the rights and property as expected.

Acceptable on request "RAP RUSO" (When Spanish speakers look for examples of Russian rap) gives Gamora's clip first:

This is completely unofficial, left and gray channel. Russians may not know that someone uploads such vids optimized for Spanish, but this clip has almost 20 million views! Not good for yourself, right?

"Unknown" Gamora, whom half of Spain listened to. One clip.

How did I find out about Gamora?

As befits a real underground, it is first very spread by word of mouth, word of mouth. An old friend told me about Gamora.

We meet once a year, drink, at that time we smoked a hookah and listened to Mouzon on his phone before going to a big booze.

And then he tells me that there are Samara guys who urinate.

Brother, what else is Gamora? Come on, don't.

No, no, you listen, he replies. This is not supposedly not Misha Mavashi and not Tony Routh (although as it turned out later, these guys are the closest in spirit to them).

He turned it on like this, just music, without a video:

Back then, this style and flow was very new, it pumped a lot.

Now it is again lying on some incomprehensible channel ...

Gamor's official YouTube channel, where is he?

Here even I, when I write this article, I can tell you something.

I just have a personal author's blog, not the media, but I adhere to some basic rules of the media and quoting, these are just the rules of decency. Let's say with great probability I will not give a link to a video, article, website or channel if I am not 100% sure that this is an official and verified source.

Accordingly... From this example, you can already understand the reasons for the collapse and collapse of Gamora. The absence of one official channel and source, a group website, etc., greatly reduces the likelihood of citation, fewer people learn about the phenomenon, as a result, growth decreases and slows down. For example, just above, I mentioned Tony Raut and Misha Mavashi. I made Tony a link to his YouTube channel, since it is obvious and clear there that this is an official channel. And I made a link to Misha, since the channel that exists, there is no description at all and there is no information, I cannot give a link to it.

This is all just as an example of what can prevent a project from growing and what problems there are, a personal small example, but indicative. Not all artists and creative people know about it, they are not required to know about it. They are not specialists in SMM,,, sites, PR and other things. The task of the artist is to create and create. Selling and promoting it should be helped by other people.

In this case, the label.

By this logic, I can’t embed Gamora’s clips here with a 100% probability and give links to them, because I don’t understand, I give a link to the official source, this will not be deleted later, or I give a link to the left re-upload.

UPD: As I understand it, the guys corrected the situation, the left re-uploads were cut down, and Gamora's official channel is here: LEX TV. I corrected the links to the left videos, but I'm too lazy to rewrite the entire article due to a change in the situation :(

Let's get back to creativity. Clips and tracks

So this is the first track I listened to (Kuisnows), he made a strong impression in 2012. This, for a moment, even when there are no and was not in sight. The start of the versus is 2013. Gamora at that moment set absolutely the highest bar in terms of reading, style and flow. But the most curious thing about them was something else.

Their style did not feel stolen from the west, it was perceived as something of their own. All beats and minuses are written by them, the text, everything is unique, original and with soul.

If it is known that every second bit is stolen there, then it’s just like a tub of cold water. I heard something really new.

Another strong point of Gamora was that more than one person read there. The guys worked as a team and did everything together.

Many top clips are a bunch of people, everyone reads in turn.

So you hear different styles in one track.

Then I came home and found their other clip - weekdays:

Now, in 2018, it all looks strange. These haircuts, these clothes... Topics that come up. Kolkhoz and provinciality.

No offense, everyone was like that then, including the author of this article.

But it was precisely then, in those years, that was the voice of the streets and provinces.

That was her appearance, exactly like that.

But it is amazing that even considering that the guys were from the underground, quite decent money was found for this video. There was a camera and there was editing, and their work with sound is always at a high level, even in bad clips.

Now, of course, it is very strange to compare them with modern rap.

Music is different.

Gamora loses to almost any pop. LJ is pop, right?

It is clear that different styles, but the quality is incomparable.

Gamora pales in comparison, unfortunately. But why is she fading? Who is this Aldzhey, Feduk, Face? Why did they shoot like that?

There is talent, of course. (with Feduk and Aljay, not with Face), but the main reason is that they are very strongly twisted and supported by big right uncles. There is a completely different level of editing, girls, clothes, and the processing of music is stronger.

Now the reading style has changed, if we are talking about something closer:

The latest and greatest Russian rap, all together. 140 BPM

Everything has become faster and more technical. Listen with 1:08 , very much.

However... Talent is talent, Gamora had talent.

It's basically freestyle so that.

And how beautifully this freestyle flows. Talent.

On the 1:44 Pavlik shows power.

You just take these guys and throw them on Versus, they tear everyone up there.

Although Local later said in an interview that although he treats Versus normally, he is more about creativity, and not about sorting things out through rap. He said that he would not have survived there and would have given his opponent in the face when trying to insult, so he did not go to battles and was not going to go.

Gamora is no longer the same.

The peak of Gamora's creativity and their attempt to go pop was here:

I believe that this was their apogee, the highest point of creativity. Here everything is polished, nothing superfluous, shakes, everything is fast and short.

Reference to Pavlik Drug Addict from Samara, "caused panic" woah...

However, here they completely lost the old style, it came out too poppy. Good and high quality, but this is no longer Gamora, it was something else.

Gamora's style and flair

The thing that seriously hooked many in them was precisely the provinciality. The voice of the streets in its purest form, the real gateways of the vile deserted and dangerous Togliatti, filled with gopniks and bandits even after the 2000s.

Any punk from the province immediately rated them very highly, because they read about the life of such ordinary punks from the streets. At the same time, they never had any wrong and dangerous quirks. Well, yes, they said something about bad cops, something about, but this is normal in rap. They did not move any really dangerous ones, they did not touch politics much.

The paths of Gamora and Seryozha local later diverged, but there was also an attempt to reunite (GAMORA - Second Breath (2016)).

History of the Gamora group

Seryozha Local - biography

Ok, what about the facts? What is the history of the Gamora bands? How was it formed and who is the creator? Who is Seryozha Local, what is his biography?

Serezha Local (Sergey Fedorovich)- a rapper from Tolyatti, although he was born in Kirov on June 19, 1989. Graduated from a construction college, secondary technical education.

Where did the "Local" come from?

Photo, Seryozha Local

At an early age, the family moved to Tolyatti.

His family is working, he was not engaged in creativity. Relations with parents deteriorated after the move, the guy rebelled and did bad things. I got carried away by girls at the age of 14, and then I heard new music for myself, rap, and away we go.

I read rap in the yard, I got more and more interested in it. He graduated from school and entered the construction, and then went into the army. At what he was a soldier of the internal troops of the North Caucasian district, and this place, as you know, is not an easy one.

After the army, together with Sergey Lin from his court, they began to make rap, six more people joined them and the Kurs group was formed. It was 2009.

The Gamora group appeared a couple of years later, then the local guys already knew about them and they gained their first popularity in narrow circles, performing wherever they had to and where they would be called, including in the yards. In 2011, the Gamora group included: Serezha Local and Serezha Lin, Dooda, Alex Manifesto, Atsel Rj and Pavlik Farmaceft.

There are several interviews that you can watch for those who are interested:

"Gomorrah" means the city of sin and vice, from the biblical "Sodom and Gamorah". Life in those days in the provinces, in their opinion, well reflected this name.

Why did Gamora fall apart and fall apart?

According to indirect data, the collapse occurred due to disagreements in a large team. Probably, as always, these are personal ambitions, ego, and loot that was not shared. Obviously, Seryozha Local had the lead and he broke away from the group, but I'm not saying that he threw them and ruined everything, I don't know. Probably the conflicts grew, it became more difficult to get everyone together, the requests grew, the carving up, etc. began. Someone must have figured it out.

This is how it happens all the time in large groups that are rising.

I like games, everything always fell apart, there are a million such examples. - similarly.

Constantly partners swear and disperse. Just as I later realized, you need to get together only after achieving personal success, and not vice versa.

First, become someone and always play for yourself first, and only then it will be possible to do some joint projects and collaborations.

The center collapsed for the same reasons as many others. Another reason the band broke up I think is that they were sorely lacking in proper leadership, organization and production. They needed to be taken under the wing of a big label right away, at a very early stage. Like CAO or Black Star. But the labels blew them, only then they were able to catch and send the Local on a good path in time.

By the way, they would be best suited label - Kasta.

UPD: It's like the gang is back together and they're releasing new stuff!

Talents need help, mediocrity will break through on their own

Organization and production are the most important things, we see this in the example of Gamora. It's only by looking at cases like this that you realize what a label can do for an artist. Look here. If at a very early stage, in the first videos of Gamora, they were taken under the wing of the same Casta, then she would have given the guys a big kick in the ass.

It is not only technology, for example, access to a full-time company promotion specialist and a full-time installation specialist, this and much more.

Even banal things about basic monetization. You can sell merch, make donations, even make some separate vlogs and monetize it, get the first money at the initial stage, and money gives a very big incentive to continue. What can we say about further monetization, the label will do everything competently and even though it will take some of the income, with it the total income will be many times higher.

Black Star, although they are not liked by many, helped a lot of aspiring artists and promoted them a lot, they basically made them.

Similarly, CAO (CAO RECORDS).

Gamora was unlucky, in 2012 the labels were weaker than they are now and less actively engaged in the search for new talent. They did not see them, and even if they saw them, they could not agree on normal cooperation with them.

In many ways, the reason for the collapse of Gamora is not in her, but in the labels that did not support them. Gamora are artists, they are creators. They are not required to know how to promote everything, PR, what to say in an interview and how to grow quickly.

The label should be doing this.

A curious example - Big Russian Boss (he is from neighboring Samara), he also wrote music, but in a fun and funny style, however, he climbed very high. At some stage, the right people found him, or he found these people, moved to a big city and launched a show, then everyone forgot about the music, but he stepped extremely far.

Now, for example, Fresh Blood, the 4th season of the versus, is on. There is a platform and there are mechanisms for selecting young talents. Here's how it goes:

Just imagine that Gamora sends an application there. Although you know, maybe they would not have passed there according to their criteria. Time is different.

As a result, the local Seryozha went to the Central Administrative District and worked on his projects there, and now, apparently, the team is together again, but already four people.

They are working on a new album, but that's another story.

Probably Gamora, even in the previous composition, will not be able to somehow fit into a new strange world now. (although I wish them luck anyway!), but 2012 was behind them, and many missed it. At one time, the guys notably blew up.
