Someday this will happen, I know that I will have children. And it will happen, maybe even in the very near future. It's like improvisation, like inspiration, like flying, the chemistry is, you know, either it's there or it's not. So far, all my love affairs have always ended in great friendship. I am a terribly amorous person and now I am in such a romantic state and do not want to change it yet.

Ekaterina Shipulina is a famous ballerina, the leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre. The girl, despite such an “airy” profession, is a real extreme. She loves water skiing and ice skating. Among other sports, tennis stands out - it happens quite often on the court - and football. She regularly visits fitness rooms, although with her daily loads one can only dream of being overweight.

Biography of Ekaterina Shipulina

Ekaterina Valentinovna was born in one of the Perm maternity hospitals on a cold November 1979. The baby's mother, Lyudmila Shipulina, performed on the stage of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, so the girl's future was a foregone conclusion from the moment she was born.

Little Katya almost did not see caresses from her mother. And this is not surprising, since the woman devoted almost all her energy and time to her students and performances. She was more than critical of her daughter and never let her relax.

Incessant pain for ballerinas is a familiar state in which they are constantly. And for Katya, she also became a part of life. The girl was by nature very hardworking and even being very young showed promise.

Catherine has a twin sister. In 1898, they passed the entrance examinations to the Perm Ballet School together and entered. Later, her sister quit ballet, unable to withstand the strongest emotional and physical stress, but Catherine herself continued to work on herself and her body, moving towards her goal.

In 1994, she entered the Moscow Choreographic Academy and after 4 years graduated with honors. The graduation number was the party from the ballet "Le Corsaire".

The stage of the Bolshoi Theater became the place of work of Ekaterina Shipulina as a ballerina. A year after the start of her dancing career, she goes to the international ballet competition, held in Luxembourg, and takes 2nd place there. This is the first honorary "silver" among her many awards.

The girl does not linger on the achieved result and continues to work on herself. With each new performance, she rises one step higher on her career ladder. And now she is already the Queen in the ball "Fantasy on the theme of Casanova." Further, her track record is replenished with "Sylphide", "Humpbacked Horse", where the ballerina shines in the part of the Tsar Maiden. Shipulina so skillfully conveys all the feelings and emotions of her hero that it is almost impossible not to believe in the recreated image and plot.

Ekaterina Valentinovna Shipulina was born on November 14, 1979 in Perm. Her parents have been associated with ballet all their lives. Mother soloed on the stage of the local opera and ballet theater. Not only Ekaterina followed in her footsteps, but also her twin sister Anna. At the age of 10, the girls entered the Perm State Choreographic School. Soon Anna did not like ballet, and she decided to quit her studies. Catherine, despite the strong physical and emotional stress, continued to hone her skills.

In 1994, she moved from Perm to Moscow, where she continued her ballet education and entered the choreographic academy. There, Lyudmila Litavkina became her mentor. In 1998, Shipulina graduated with honors. As a graduation number, Catherine chose the part from the ballet Le Corsaire.

Career

After graduating from the academy, Shipulina was immediately taken to the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater, where her curators were first teachers Tatyana Golikova and Marina Kondratieva, and then Nadezhda Gracheva. Experts immediately drew attention to the dance style of the young ballerina: she skillfully conveyed the feelings and emotions of her character, and it was almost impossible not to believe in the image and plot recreated by her.

In 1998, Ekaterina took part in only two productions: "La Bayadère" and "The Nutcracker", which were staged by Yuri Grigorovich. In 1999, the list of roles expanded significantly. So, Shipulina shone in Giselle, The Little Humpbacked Horse, Chopiniana, Don Quixote. Ekaterina relatively quickly, by ballet standards, became the prima ballerina of the main stage of the country and gained national fame. People began to go not just to the Bolshoi Theater, but to a specific ballerina - Ekaterina Shipulina. At one time, the legendary Maya Plisetskaya was awarded such fame.

Shipulina has many different awards. So, in 1999, she took a silver medal at the ballet competition in Luxembourg. In 2005, Ekaterina became the winner of the "Golden Lyre" in the nomination "Woman's Face of the Year".

In 2009, she was given the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. In 2018, Ekaterina became the People's Artist of the Russian Federation for her services in the field of musical and theatrical art.

Personal life

Ekaterina Shipulina tries not to advertise her personal life. Not so long ago it became known that she had been living with the famous pianist Denis Matsuev for ten years. The couple is not officially signed. However, this did not prevent them from having a joint child. For a long time, Shipulina hid her pregnancy. In October 2016, the couple had a daughter, whom the young parents decided to name Anna. But Ekaterina and Denis are still in no hurry to go to the registry office.
