Dear friends! Today is the Year of the Horse according to the Chinese calendar. I mark this event here with another work on this topic. If you have already managed to get acquainted with the previous horse, then, probably, this one will not be very interesting to you, because. it was made in the same way. But ... Completely repeating is not in my rules. Therefore, when my son asked me to make a gift to his army commander, I decided to slightly modify the picture and add something.

To begin with, I took as a basis a completely different drawing of a horse. Here, the angle is different, and the mane is more magnificent. I did not change the color palette, but I had to stock up on paper twice as much. I printed this beauty on a printer in the size of half an A4 sheet.

Further, everything is simple. We wind the elements "drop", "eye", "crescent", etc. of 2, 1, 1/2 strips of light gray. Here, for some reason, the photo distorted the real color of the paper. We begin to lay them on the base, gluing them with their "backs" and exactly repeating the contours of the pattern.

(Here the color will be more natural ...) We make the eye, cilia, nostrils, lips, tail from dark blue stripes. Do not forget about the convex elements of the muzzle and cheekbones. We go around the ears with one layer of a t.-blue stripe. For the mane, we take stripes of gray-blue color. From 1, 1\2, 1\3 strips we form the elements of the "eyes" and bend them in an S-shape.

When the horse itself is ready, you can proceed to the flowers. For poinsettia, we prepare the same elements as for the mane: for a dark flower from 16 whole strips, for a light flower from 16 halves. For a branch - we form the "drop" elements into a "goose foot".

We collect flowers in two tiers, 8 petals in each. We add spiral curls to the branches.

Now about the background ... I found in the bins just such an interesting paper and a pale green wrapper from a bouquet. I put one under the other...

I laid out all the elements on the glass of the frame and began to move them back and forth until I liked it that way.
