Hawaiian party scenario. DIY Hawaiian Party for Kids

Do you want the holiday to be remembered for a long time? Prepare a script for your Hawaiian party and turn a boring event into an enchanting event. At a Hawaiian party there are no artists and spectators; both guests and hosts are direct participants in the performance. Even in winter, the Hawaiian setting fills the space with the colors of summer, reminding us that there are places in the world where people can have carefree fun.

Party by the sea

  • The ideal place for a Hawaiian party is the seashore. But if the seashore is not nearby, don’t worry: you can have a party by the pool. If you don’t see a pool either, then use your imagination and throw a party right in your apartment. To decorate the room you will need a lot of flowers and fruits (real or artificial). African masks will look good on the walls, as well as amulets and souvenirs brought from Egypt, Morocco, Turkey, for example.
  • We decorate the room: we make garlands and hang them on the walls. Decorate the walls, chairs, and bar counter with garlands of flowers. Place fresh flowers in vases, place vases on tables. Baskets filled with real fruits will also come in handy. Palm trees in tubs will perfectly complement the interior. Above the bar counter you can make something like a hut from palm branches, simple branches and artificial plants. The hut should be located at such a height that branches do not interfere with guests approaching the stand.
  • An indispensable attribute of any Hawaiian party is a buffet. Decorate the table with a buffet “skirt”, not just a simple one, but a Hawaiian one, made in the style of the skirts of Hawaiian hula dancers. You can easily make such a “skirt” with your own hands; to do this, you need to cut colored braid into pieces and string it on a rope. If we are talking about preparing for the New Year, then you can use Christmas tree “rains” instead of braid.
  • If you are planning to hold an event outdoors, you cannot do without artificial lighting. In addition to the usual light bulbs and flashlights, use torches and candles. The beach, illuminated by torches and candles, looks very mysterious. You can install a wooden “idol” in a darkened corner, decorate it with flowers and place a basket with sacrifices - fruits - next to it.

Dishes and drinks with an exotic taste

When choosing a Hawaiian party as a scenario for a birthday or other celebration, of course, you cannot forget about the kitchen. It is not necessary to spend time and money on preparing traditional Hawaiian dishes; it will be enough to follow some canons of a Hawaiian party. First, prepare a variety of cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Alcoholic cocktails must be served at the bar; non-alcoholic cocktails can be placed on separate tables for free access. Don't forget: all glasses must be equipped with straws, umbrellas and slices of fruit (pineapples, lemons, oranges).

Hawaiian traditional cuisine includes a variety of fish dishes. Feel free to fill the table with plates of seafood, caviar and other fish delicacies. Don't forget that the islanders simply love meat, especially fried pork. Roasted wild boar will look great in the center of the table. Less semi-finished products, Hawaiians love everything natural, so vegetables and fruits should be present on the buffet table. If you really can’t do without the usual salad and mayonnaise assortment, then arrange the salads in tartine baskets. So that guests can eat and relax in peace between dances, place small tables with chairs along the walls. Decorate tables with umbrellas, flowers and candles. Place a basket of fruit on each table (you can never have too much fruit at a Hawaiian party).

Dress code - bright and casual

When sending invitations to a Hawaiian party, do not forget to warn guests about the need for a dress code. Regardless of whether you are creating a Hawaiian party for children or adults, stick to one rule: no formality, solemnity and boredom! Men should wear wide Hawaiian shirts, women should wear light, colorful dresses.

To make things easier for guests, leis (flower garlands), wreaths and bracelets can be distributed at the entrance.

Play it this way: have everyone invited at the entrance respond to the Hawaiian greeting “Aloha!” and will immediately receive a lei as a gift. Hawaiian leis can consist not only of flowers, but also of seeds, leaves and feathers.

Children will really like the idea of such a party, because it is bright, noisy and fun. Girls will look charming in a traditional dancer's costume decorated with flowers and feathers. Boys can be dressed in colored shirts and shorts. Children simply love Hawaiian parties and take part in them with pleasure, dancing, playing and having fun with the adults.

Fun competitions

No Hawaiian party is complete without Limbo. Limbo is the passage of a person under the bar. The rules of this game are simple: a bar is set at a certain height and Hawaiian dance music is turned on. Guests stand in line and dance under the bar. You can only bend backwards, and you can’t touch the ground with your hands or the bar. With each next level the bar drops lower and lower. Guests who do not complete the task leave the game. In the end, only one hero remains, and he receives the prize.

We share flip flops

This competition can be included in a birthday scenario prepared for a Hawaiian party for a 10-12 year old girl or in any other scenario. Prepare several pairs of colorful Hawaiian flip-flops in advance. Invite participants to the game. The number of participants is calculated by the formula: the number of flip-flops (not pairs, but pieces) minus one. This game plays out the same way as a traditional chair game. The music plays, and when it ends, each guest must have time to put on 1 flip-flop. The one who does not have time is eliminated from the game.

Children's Hawaiian party script

  • Prepare elements of Hawaiian costumes in advance and hand them out at the entrance. Boys - shirts with short sleeves. You can apply appropriate patterns to these shirts using watercolor paint or gouache. Give the girls khulas made from braid or “rain”. Decorate all guests with leis and wreaths.
  • Let the host tell you a little about Hawaii before each competition: location, history, nature. Prepare a large map of the Hawaiian Islands and invite the children to find and name cities, rivers, lakes, bays, and coves on the map. For older children, you can triple the quiz: let the host ask questions and offer several answer options to choose from. The quiz should be moderately funny and moderately difficult so that children do not get bored.
  • Celebrating like an adult

    Hawaii is beaches, sea, sun, half-naked bodies and entertainment on the verge of a foul. If children are not present at the party, then adults can relax and take part in “spice” competitions.

    Let's sunbathe together

    This is a fun adult game. The contingent needs to be decided in advance: if adults are playing, then children should not be present, since the game script includes an element of undressing. The players stand in a circle and dance, and the leader names those parts of the body that need to be exposed to the “sun,” that is, exposed. Anyone who refuses to expose the specified part of the body to the sun is eliminated from the game. So, we expose our palms, neck, elbows, knees, shoulders, hips, heels, and so on to the sun, depending on the degree of warming up of the company.

    Woman's happiness

    We invite girls to the stage. We hang two bananas and peel them so that the pulp is kept in the peel. Each contestant must eat a banana without using her hands. The fruit should not be touched with hands or dropped on the floor. The girl who eats her banana first wins. Based on the results of male voting, an audience award can also be awarded.

    An adult company may well choose a sauna as a location. Prepare a sauna scenario for a Hawaiian party, negotiate with the administration, rent a room. The sauna has everything you need to make your Hawaiian party a success: a swimming pool, a bar, a place to dance. Most saunas take care of the decoration of the room.

    The traditional hula dance can also be performed in a swimming pool. Another interesting idea: organize any competition “on the shore”, and throw the losers into the “ocean”. The evening can be completed by singing traditional Hawaiian songs (it’s okay if “Black Crow” is included in their number) and intimate conversations.

    At a Hawaiian party you can do everything: sing, dance, have fun from the heart. The main advantage of such a holiday is that people can relax, throw problems “overboard” and have a great time.

    Summer, sea, islands, unbridled joy and overflowing love of life - this is what is associated with the intention to throw a party, the theme of which will be Hawaii. This is a reason to abandon the worries and realities of the modern world with its problems, the north wind and taxes, briefly plunging into the warm ocean of carefreeness, relaxation and fun.

    For the party to be a success, you need to be well prepared for it. What do you need for a Hawaiian holiday? Where is the best place to host a reception? How to arrange invitations? What will help recreate the Hawaiian atmosphere? What are you going to treat your “islanders” to? And, finally, how to reincarnate in the spirit of a given theme? Our material will take you to the world of festive islands.

    Summer... and not only summer!

    A Hawaiian party by default includes sea, sun and beach. Therefore, the ideal format for holding it would be open-air near the water: the sea coast, the shore of a river or lake, a picturesque island, a platform near a pool. Any open area is quite suitable, and water can be provided in an inflatable pool, if desired.

    But you don’t have to limit yourself to the most natural place for a holiday. A Hawaiian party can be organized, for example, in a sauna: why not a hot atmosphere? And what a magnificent holiday it will be on the deck of a ship or yacht! A holiday a la Hawaii is a great idea for guests of various hotels.

    Of course, the Hawaiian theme is mainly a summer prerogative. But who can stop you from letting in a little sun and hot energy during the winter cold or autumn slush? For such a holiday, of course, open areas are no longer suitable, but any room can be decorated accordingly. But how nice it will be to plunge into summer at least for a few hours!

    In short, there are few occasions and accommodation options that would not allow you to organize a great Hawaiian party!

    We invite you to Hawaii!

    Your friends should be looking forward to the holiday you are preparing for them from the very minute they hear about it. How will it be? Will you inform them about this in person, by phone, by email, Viber or SMS? Or maybe they will pick up an unusual invitation card, which is not so difficult to make?

    It's up to you to decide, and we'll give you ideas for an invitation card:

    • printout of the finished version from the Internet;
    • an invitation in any form associated with Hawaii: pineapple, coconut, orchid, surfboard, Hawaiian shirt, fluffy straw hula skirt, ukulele, shell or even beach flip-flops;
    • a “ticket” for a plane to Hawaii or a travel package form;
    • invitation in a bottle sealed with wax;
    • applique made of straw, shells, colored sand and images of any of the listed accessories.

    In the text of the invitation, be sure to specify the “Hawaiian” dress code and use the traditional word “Aloha,” which means not just a greeting, but also a wish for goodness, peace and joy, as well as “I love you.” The literal translation of this word from the Hawaiian dialect is “breath of life.”

    Welcome to the islands!

    To transform your space to match the atmosphere of these fabulous islands, try to get inspired by watching films glorifying Hawaii, because you can pick up many interesting finds!

    For your inspiration, the most “Hawaiian” examples of cinema:

    • "Hawaii 5-0";
    • "Blue Hawaii";
    • "The Perfect Escape"
    • "In flight";
    • “50 First Dates;
    • cartoon "Lilo and Stitch".

    Before we begin preparations, we must first analyze which specific features of the venue will be important to us. Let's consider the main options: ideas can be combined!

    Preparing the open area

    In the open-air format, it is important to take into account the following points:

    The simplest solution to many of these issues may be renting. Under the canopy you can place not only tables, but also lay blankets and scatter pillows for relaxation. In the midday heat, the tent will not allow guests to overheat. Well, the modern choice allows you to choose any shape of the tent, its size and color, however, traditional white will be an excellent background for any decor.

    You can opt not for a tent, but for beach umbrellas and tables under them.

    Palm trees will add a Hawaiian atmosphere to the landscape. If you don’t have live plants in tubs, it doesn’t matter – you can order impressive balloon designs.

    If space and materials allow, you can build an interesting composition in the Hawaiian style from tied logs, bamboo sticks (you can buy them in hardware stores), and cobblestones. Against its background you will get wonderful photo frames as a keepsake!

    If you lay out large letters “Hawaii” or “Aloha” from shells, stones, branches and other natural materials, this will maximally complement the atmosphere and create another interesting photo zone. Place large cardboard or plastic letters on the stage or simply write them directly in the sand: let them rub off under the soles of the dancers, reminding them to cherish moments of joy!

    Sunset will not signal the end of the holiday: after all, on the islands the night is as beautiful as the day. Make sure your guests can see in the dark. You can, of course, provide lanterns and portable spotlights, but it will be much more effective, and most importantly, more “Hawaiian-style,” to light a pre-prepared fire, from which the torches will ignite (they must be prepared in advance).

    You can prepare stationary stands for torches.

    Decorating a room for a party in Hawaiian style

    You can also create a completely Hawaiian atmosphere indoors. More flowers, real and artificial! Decorate the room with greenery (even if it’s grandma’s ficus and asparagus). Branches of any plants are suitable - willow, fern, acacia, as well as any spectacular leaves and stems - chestnut, corn, sunflower.

    You can use decorative ribbons in the form of leafy garlands, sold in craft stores.

    Decorate windows and doorways with traditional Hawaiian leis. Of course, you won’t find as many fresh flowers as in Hawaii, especially in the cold season. No problem: It’s quite possible to make lei yourself from corrugated colored paper or bright napkins.

    You will need so many of them, because leis are needed not only for decoration. According to the traditions of Hawaiian holidays, every guest receives lei beads around their neck, regardless of gender.

    • You can hang posters with views of Hawaii, maps of the islands on the walls...
    • Decorate tulle curtains with flowers.
    • Don't skimp on balloons and various garlands.
    • Fishing nets, ropes, and intertwined ropes decorated with flowers, butterflies and fish will look good - by the way, this is a good background for a photo!
    • If you find traditional wooden masks, you can also hang them, as well as models of ukuleles - tiny ukuleles. An ordinary guitar will also work.
    • Along the walls you can place surfboards, drums, and wooden figurines.
    • Sun loungers, canvas folding chairs or wicker furniture would be appropriate.

    The space under the ceiling will be decorated with multi-colored balls. Beach umbrellas and summer hats can be placed as decorative additions.

    Look at a few photos of the decoration of the room for a Hawaiian party, including one with a swimming pool. They will help you decide on your party decoration elements.

    Fruits should also take their rightful place in the festive atmosphere. Not all of them have to be edible. If you stock up on enough dummies, you can use them to build a colorful composition or string them on jute rope in the form of garlands. Bunches of bananas look especially impressive in combination with large green leaves that imitate banana leaves. Place vases with different fruit sets here and there.

    A beautiful and simple accessory that will decorate any interior - a glass, pot-bellied bottle, vase or glass container filled with water in which large flowers and candles float: at dusk they can be lit. It would be appropriate to place shells and shells at the bottom of such containers.

    Another beautiful and simple option is jars with multi-colored sand in a wide variety of variations. For such decorations, you can purchase kinetic colored sand, and at the end of the holiday give it to your little guests. An alternative would be a motley mixture of regular salt and broken children's colorful crayons.

    Hawaiian feast

    Any holiday on the islands is not only fun, but also a treat: Hawaiian word "luau" - holiday party - literally means "feast". Therefore, one cannot ignore the preparation of the festive table. On the other hand, you will have to dance a lot, so the dishes should not be too heavy, hearty and plentiful.

    However, traditional Hawaiian cuisine allows you to easily solve this problem.

    Hawaiian table decor

    In order to give your feast a completely Hawaiian feel, you need to add a little unusual atmosphere to the table itself. It can be of any shape; it is quite acceptable to use both large and many small tables. Plastic tables or small wicker coffee tables with snacks will not stand out from the general line of the party.

    A popular table decor for a Hawaiian party is a “skirt” similar to the traditional hula. You can sew straw onto the tablecloth or create a long, lush fringe from other materials. If a “table skirt” is not to your taste, throw a fishing net over it or just use a bright colorful tablecloth.

    Choose bright, colorful dishes. It is perfectly acceptable to use cardboard outdoors - no one will have to wash it. Or you can get more sophisticated and serve, for example, meat or sandwiches on banana leaves, and put fruits in wide-brimmed hats instead of vases! Glasses and cutlery should also be decorated with Hawaiian accessories.

    In the center of the table you can place wooden figurines, a composition of fresh flowers and fruits or candles and water, or a mini-waterfall.

    If you decide to limit yourself to a buffet or light buffet, then you can build a so-called “Tiki bar”.

    Decorate the chairs with flower leis.

    Let's help ourselves! Hawaiian themed party menu

    Dishes should be light, easy on the stomach, and with a bright taste. Good menu choices would be:

    • chicken cooked with soy sauce, pineapples, oranges, etc.;
    • chops, which in restaurants are called “Hawaiian-style meat”: on a steak, a piece of pineapple under melted cheese;
    • fish baked in the oven (if you are having an outdoor party, you can heat it right on the fire);
    • seafood (shrimp, mussels, oysters) in salads, cocktails and simply in their natural form;
    • vegetable and fruit salads;
    • cold cuts and cold appetizers;
    • assorted skewers;
    • sandwiches, tartlets.

    The best desserts would be fresh fruit; you can also serve jellies, mousses and, of course, ice cream! Skip baked goods, except for crispy, shell-shaped cookies. You should not put cream cakes on the table - this dessert does not harmonize with the summer atmosphere.

    Drinks should be plentiful and provide guests with a wide choice. The main highlight will be the cocktails, let them be varied: non-alcoholic and heady, relaxing or tonic, long or short drinks, but certainly bright and festive.

    To do this, decorate the glasses with slices of lemons, oranges, strawberries and kiwis, use straws and umbrellas. Don't forget to stock up on ice! Recipes for the most famous cocktails are available in abundance on the Internet, or you can show your imagination, mix an invented cocktail and call it by your own name.

    Hawaiian motifs - choosing music

    To create a playlist for your party, think about why you need the music:

    For the first purpose, traditional Hawaiian melodies, which are rich in the albums of many groups and performers, are indispensable. Pay attention to the melodies and solos on the ukulele (traditional ukulele).

    You can use the following compositions:

    • VA "Blue Hawaii";
    • Chris Isaak "Sweet Leilani";
    • Perry Como "Hawaiian Wedding Song";
    • Elvis Presley "Hawaiian Sunset";
    • Ella Fitzgerald "Hawaiian War Chant";
    • Hawaiian song "Aloha oe";
    • All Star Hawaiian Band "Sophisticated Hula";
    • Big Ben Hawaiian Band "On the Beach at Waikiki";
    • Israel Kamakawiwo'ole (ukulele);
    • Leonid Nagaev (ukulele, harmonica).

    Hawaiian music, while harmonious, doesn't have to be the exclusive accompaniment to your celebration. For such a topic any compositions that evoke thoughts of summer, the beach, or seaside holidays are suitable.

    Choose what you like best, without worrying too much about the authenticity of the music:

    • any Latin American rhythms;
    • compositions by Shakira, Beyoncé, Ricky Martin;
    • 2Hat “Summer and Heat”;
    • Potap and Nastya “Summer”;
    • Group "All inclusive" "Tanned Summer";
    • Chi-Li "Summer";
    • Texas "Summer Son"
    • Malik “Song of Summer”, “Heat”;
    • Any collection from the “Beach Hits” series.

    If you have not yet fully decided on the theme of the party, then you can look further.

    It can be adapted for both an adult party and a children's party.

    For fans of the era of emerging capitalism, we have prepared two scenarios. - a celebration in Chicago style. The second is a party for the golden society based on the film and book The Great Gatsby.

    What to wear to a party, how to transform yourself?

    Preparing costumes is an important part of any theme party. As you prepare to try on a new image, you are already anticipating a special mood, transformation, and magic. And in the case of a Hawaiian holiday, choosing an image and creating a costume will be quite simple, and it will undoubtedly be bright and effective: such a feature of the Hawaiian style!

    The very first thing that comes to mind and will be needed by both men and women is Hawaiian wreaths, also known as beads, which are called “leis”. They are garlands of tropical flowers about 50-60 cm long, placed around the neck of each guest. You can purchase ready-made leis in online stores: they offer a fairly wide selection of garlands of different colors. However, they are easy to make yourself.

    Watch the video on how to create your own lei.

    Let us immediately note that the most convenient for creating such a lei in our conditions will be carnation flowers, separated from the stem.

    Girls getting dressed... or undressing? How to make a Hawaiian costume for a girl

    When choosing an image, you should focus on the format of the party. If the celebration is held at the beach, this will dictate one form of dress, but a home celebration will suggest other ways to look Hawaiian. Let's look at several options for Hawaiian looks for girls.

    "Beautiful Islander"

    The central element of the outfit will be a swimsuit. Better, of course, is a bikini: after all, Hawaiian women are not shy about their golden, flexible bodies. Choose the most colorful of your summer swimsuits. Now let’s give it an “island” look.

    A lei worn around the neck already further decorates your “top”, but you can add interesting details:

    • large artificial flowers sewn onto the cups of the bra, fluffy bright pom-poms;
    • the bodice is decorated with green leaves;
    • the straps of the swimsuit are decorated with flowing silk scarves;
    • You are unlikely to wear a coconut bodice, traditional for Hawaii; it is too inconvenient to attach it, and it rubs. But its imitation from coconut halves attached to the bodice can look very impressive.

    If you don’t want a too revealing top, it is permissible to wear a short top or tie a bright shirt of turquoise, yellow, orange, or red under your chest.

    For a more detailed example of making a costume for a girl for a Hawaiian party, watch the video.

    “Bottom” means a traditional “hula” skirt, which emphasizes the slender legs and fiery hips of the Hawaiian woman swaying in dance. The material for such a skirt can be varied, and it is very simple to make: you just need a thick elastic band or twine to fit your waist and a little patience to attach the stripes. Disguise the elastic and any knots on it with a floral belt. The length of the skirt can vary from mid-thigh to floor.

    Choose what your “khula” will be made of:

    • lush green leaves or their fabric equivalents;
    • multi-colored ribbons;
    • strips of polyethylene;
    • corrugated paper;
    • jute twine or other rope (you can see how to make such a skirt in the video)
    • scraps of bright fabric;
    • Christmas tree rain;
    • Knitting thread;
    • raffia is a thin straw (it will have to be fastened by bending it in half and securing it with a “sliding” loop. You can see the detailed process of making a raffia skirt below).

    "Girl of Summer"

    Modern native Hawaiians, like their European sisters, do not always prefer national clothing. Many of them prefer bright, airy and light summer clothes that do not restrict movement, decorated with various accessories.

    Choose your favorite summer dress or sundress made of silk, chintz or other natural fabric. It’s better if the outfit is not just bright colors, but with a floral print or ornament, but plain colors are also suitable, just not dull colors!

    "From what's at hand"

    If you can’t think of anything or don’t have time at all, feel free to wear any summer clothes to such a party: shorts, a skirt, even jeans with a bright T-shirt will do, wrap up a pareo. Accessories will save any look: at such a holiday they are even more important than the clothes themselves.

    Accessories. The outfit needs to be complemented and decorated. Bright, unique elements will add zest to your Hawaiian look. So, we have already mentioned leis (flower wreaths). And what else?

    You can additionally wear:

    • floral bracelets made of fresh or artificial flowers for wrists and/or ankles;
    • long beads made from several strands of artificial pearls or shells;
    • a wreath of greenery on the head;
    • belt decorated with flowers, shells, straws.

    Hairstyle. There is nothing simpler - let your hair down with a lush mane. To create a Hawaiian look, pick them up on one side near the temple with a large hairpin in the shape of a lush flower or a marine theme. The head may also have a wreath or headband, also decorated with flowers and leaves.

    Shoes. Comfortable and summery! Sandals, flip-flops, flip-flops, and soapboxes are suitable. You can additionally decorate them with flower pompoms and shells. Take care of a bright pedicure.

    Makeup. Not really necessary if you're going to have fun at the beach, other than sunscreen and maybe a little gold powder. For an indoor option, so as not to look pale in the photo, paint your lips with lipstick in juicy, fruity shades, highlight your lush eyelashes, and slightly darken your face and décolleté (self-tanning is also appropriate). Complete the look with a splash of light and fresh floral perfume.

    But if you decide to create a real image of an island girl, then watch the video. The girl, accompanied by pleasant Hawaiian music, clearly shows how to do Hawaiian makeup and a suitable hairstyle.

    The video is in English, but the procedure is quite clear.

    The stronger sex in Hawaii - options for men's suits

    Men rarely pay as much attention to their external image as girls, but in vain! When else will there be an opportunity to be a little not yourself, but a perky and passionate islander or a white planter invited to a native holiday!

    Variant of the image “Native”

    If you want to feel like a real Hawaiian, then... look at your girlfriend. Hawaiian guys dress almost the same as girls, with the exception of a swimsuit top. A manly naked torso attracts the attention of the fair sex, and the lei will give it additional charm.

    But the hula skirt for guys and girls in Hawaii is almost the same! If you are not afraid of such a daring outfit, feel free to wear a hula of any length acceptable to you from any material - from raffia to strips of fabric... You can decorate your legs with “mini-skirts” just below the knees.

    REMEMBER! For an “island” suit, you need to take care of the appropriate body condition. No unshaven armpits or excessively hairy chest. I'll have to borrow a self-tanner from a friend. A white fluffy body and a beer belly will also look ridiculous. But if you are a young Apollo, boldly dare and conquer the hot beauties.

    Variant of the male image “White Guest of the Island”

    If everything is fine with your shoulders, but the hula is quite embarrassing, you can easily put on any summer bottom, leaving your torso bare. In most cases, at real Hawaiian holidays, guests walk like this!

    Shorts can be of any cut and color, except, perhaps, sports ones (the kind that are tight-fitting). Cut-off jeans will do.

    Pants can be cotton, canvas, denim. Only a strict suit cut is inappropriate.

    Don't want to expose your top, or maybe the evening promises coolness? Well, the Hawaiian shirt is a fashion trend in any season! Don’t worry too much about the style, the main thing is bright floral colors.

    What's on your head? For the native version, nothing is needed except a wreath of leaves. But a white guest of Hawaii may feel unusual under the southern sun with his head uncovered. Sun protection is especially important if you prefer to go shaved bald: the sun's rays are dangerous for a head that is not protected by hair.

    You can wear:

    • wide-brimmed straw hat;
    • white “plantation” Panama hat;
    • tie your head with a bright bandana.

    Shoes. Any beach shoes, the easiest option is flip-flops or flip-flops. This is if you don’t want to or the site doesn’t allow you to walk barefoot. Just remember, please, that you can’t wear flip-flops with socks! Of course, it would be nice to get a pedicure, but it is enough if your nails are clean and not broken. Okay, you don’t have to shave your legs!

    Accessories. Just like the Hawaiian girl, the handsome islander can adorn his wrists and ankles with herbal or floral bracelets. If you don’t like flowers, they can be replaced with leather straps, intertwined with twine, and shells strung on a thread.

    In the “planter” version, a large cigar will look impressive, but walking around with it in your teeth is not so convenient: save this accessory for a photo shoot.

    And, of course, sunglasses.

    A few more win-win costume options for both sexes

    Alternative costume options involve imagination and creativity. If you decide to go with this, then remember that a party involves active movement (participation in competitions and dancing). Your outfit should not constrain you or interfere with any of its details.

    Come up with an image associated with summer, sea, beach:

    • mermaid;
    • sea deity;
    • jellyfish;
    • fish or fisherman;
    • octopus;
    • sailor;
    • character from the cartoon “Lilo and Stitch”, “SpongeBob”, etc.

    No matter how you dress, the most important thing that will make a Hawaiian party successful is your radiant mood!

    Hawaiian style party script

    Hawaiian Party Invitations We recommend making it in colorful and bright colors of the Hawaiian style. To do this, you can collect the required number of colorful travel brochures about the Hawaiian Islands. Create invitations on your computer or write them by hand; Attach each one to the brochure. Send by mail or deliver in person. And don't forget to ask guests to dress appropriately for the occasion.

    If the party is near a pool, be sure to inform guests that swimwear will be required.

    Whether your Hawaiian party is outdoors or indoors due to inclement weather, here are the most popular Hawaiian themed party decoration ideas.
    - The walls of the room are covered with colorful tourist brochures and bright posters depicting the Hawaiian Islands.
    - Hang decorative fishing nets from the ceiling and above doorways.
    - You can make an artificial palm tree as a decoration. To do this, wrap brown paper around a pole or pipe, then attach paper palm leaves on top, and then hang real bananas or coconuts, which you can pick and eat during the party.
    - Collect as many live and artificial plants as possible that have as “tropical” a look as possible.
    - Place garlands and bouquets of large, bright flowers (both live and artificial) throughout the area where the party is being held.
    - You can arrange folding chairs, make a changing cabin.
    - If the party is planned outdoors, make sure there are as many torches as possible for “live” lighting in the evening hours.
    - Use large round aquariums to decorate the center of each of the holiday tables. If you can find aquariums, goldfish can be purchased quite inexpensively at your local pet store.
    - If you have a swimming pool, decorate an inflatable rubber mattress as a “raft”, with flowers and lit candles on it.

    Hawaiian music should be played in the background throughout the party.

    Greet your guests as they arrive at the party by placing a wreath of fresh or plastic flowers around each person's neck and kissing each person on the cheek. If possible, swimming in the pool is traditional.

    Have a Hawaiian dance. Find one of the guests who will help others learn how to dance such dances - this is now in great fashion.

    It has become a tradition when organizing a Hawaiian-style party to serve one long table, from which each guest can take what he likes. For example:
    - Fried pork, beef or fried fish depending on the season.
    - Canned pineapple slices, lightly fried.
    - Fresh strawberries or melons, depending on the season.
    - Sweet Hawaiian bread.
    - Canned sweet potatoes or fresh baked with sugar.
    - Fresh green salad with tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and any other vegetables.
    - Fried bananas and Hawaiian fruit salad.

    You can also use finger foods at a Hawaiian themed party. For example: sandwiches, exotic fruits, drinks, hot dogs, etc.

    Games and competitions for the Hawaiian party.

    Game "My slippers!"
    You will need large, bright beach slippers - there should be 1 less of them than there are participants in the game. The flip-flops are placed in a pile on the floor and the participants stand around them. Next, the game is played in the same way as the famous musical chair entertainment. While the music is playing, participants dance or walk in a circle. As soon as the music stops, each participant tries to put one slipper on his foot. Whoever doesn't get a slipper is eliminated. The game is played until the last “lucky person with a slipper.” He wins.

    Competition "Game for Lemon".

    Having answered the question correctly, the player receives one lemon slice.

    You can come up with your own questions that meet the interests of the company. Possible questions:
    1. Who has feelings for cats. Answer options: mouse, dog +, owl, Brezhnev.
    2. The main character of the film "White Bim, Black Ear" is a dog +, elk, Cheburashka, Gorbachev.
    3. Who is man's best friend - terminator, hamster, dog +, computer.
    4. Who leaves unpleasant piles in your yard - mother-in-law, boss, dog +, neighbors.
    5. What did the wolf turn into when it was tamed - into a human, into a dog +, into a ghost who rattles chains in your bedroom, into a monkey.
    6. Whose devotion to the owner is the strongest - the sparrow, the hamster, the dog +, the mother-in-law.
    7. Who always brings a stick - traffic cop, dog +, rat, friend.
    8. Who helps the police find drugs - ME!!! I WILL HELP!!!, dog +, policemen, owls.

    The catch of the game is that at the end of the game the slices are eaten by the participants in the game themselves and the unluckiest participant will be the one who has the most correct answers, and, accordingly, slices... In order for the competition to have a logical conclusion, and to determine the winner, you can change the conditions of the game - whoever is the first to completely eat all the lemon slices wins. And he gets the prize lemon.

    Game "Tan".
    This is a game in the “adult” category. Those who want to participate dance to the music, standing in a circle, and the leader periodically pronounces command phrases. Those participants who refuse to do what the presenter says are eliminated. If the presenter says that you need to expose your knees to the sun, then the participants must bare their knees (the girls can wear tights or stockings - it is not necessary to take them off).

    Possible commands from the presenter:
    - We offered our palms to the sun
    - We exposed the sun's neck
    - We offered our elbows to the sun
    - We turned our knees to the sun
    - We offered our shoulders to the sun
    - We exposed our hips to the sun
    - We turned our heels to the sun
    - We exposed our tummies to the sun
    - We turned our back to the sun

    Those who were braver and lasted until the end receive prizes - for example, tanning cosmetics or a Panama hat.

    If you miss the sea, and there are still a couple of months before your vacation, a Hawaiian party is just what you need! We hope a DIY Hawaiian party is no longer a problem for you!

    A child’s birthday is a holiday that you want to celebrate to the fullest. When a child has a birthday in late autumn or winter, you have to rack your brains about how to organize the party and in what style. Because on the street, where there is enough space for games, you cannot organize it, but you have to gather guests at home. A Hawaiian party is an excellent find for organizing a birthday for a child 7-8 years old, especially during a period when there are not enough bright colors and warm sunny days. Invite your little guests to at least a makeshift paradise. I wrote the script for a seven-year-old child, but the invited children were of different ages from 5 years old to 13 years old. Therefore, the competitions were selected in such a way that everyone would be interested. Of course, a Hawaiian-style birthday requires thorough preparation. You need to think over the party scenario, decide on the menu, send out invitations to guests and decorate the room. But preparing for a Hawaiian party is a separate topic that requires special attention. Here we will look specifically at the scenario of a children’s birthday party. Start by determining who will be the host of the party, and be sure to find an assistant for the host.

    The holiday begins with the arrival of guests accompanied by cheerful Hawaiian music. Guests are greeted by the birthday boy himself, presenting everyone with a lei - traditional Hawaiian flower beads that symbolize love and respect for the guests. It is advisable that children adhere to the dress code:
    boys in bright colorful shirts, and girls in bright
    skirts
    After all the guests have been met, the main part of the celebration can begin.

    Leading: Aloha! Dear guests! We are glad to welcome you to our hall! Why have we gathered here today? (Vicky's birthday). Who knows how old Vika is now? (seven). Right! We will all clap seven times together (one, two, three, four, five, six, seven), and also stamp our feet (one, two, three, four, five, six, seven). And now I invite you on an extraordinary journey through the Hawaiian Islands to the Hawaiian Luou! I promise you will never be bored! Hawaii is an archipelago consisting of 24 islands and atolls located in the North Pacific Ocean. The main crafts of the ancient Hawaiians were making canoes and catching crabs in these canoes. This is where we start! We will get to the celebration of our luou by canoe!

    Game "Canoeing"

    To play the game you will need an improvised boat, which can be made from cardboard. All guests gather around the room, sitting on chairs (improvised islands). Two players in the “boat” (one holding the boat from the bow, the other from the back) begin moving around the room, running up to the guests, and place them in the boat. Everyone must act harmoniously, otherwise there is a risk of everyone falling together. When all the guests are assembled, the “canoe” sails to the designated place. The game can be repeated if desired.

    Leading:Well, we swam in a canoe, and now let's get some crabs for our holiday table!

    Crab fishing game

    To play you will need a large basin, a fishing rod with a magnet, and fish and crabs (which you will most likely have to make yourself). Children will take turns catching crabs blindfolded. 3 – 5 attempts are given. In this case, you may also get caught with fish or algae, etc. Only crabs count. The one who catches the most crabs wins.

    Leading: You are so great! Let's give the crabs to our cook, let him prepare them for the festive table! And we will start collecting coconuts.

    Game "Hot Coconut"

    It is played as a “hot ball” game. Elimination game. The players stand in a circle and pass the coconut to the music (a real coconut can be replaced with a ball). The one who has a coconut in his hands must jump and pass the fruit to the next one. The player who still has the coconut in his hands when the music ends leaves the circle. The game continues until one player remains.

    Leading: You are just great! They caught crabs and collected coconuts. What kind of holiday is that?! (Vicky's birthday). Amazing! What do you give for your birthday besides gifts? (postcards) I propose to give Vika a large Hawaiian postcard from all of us! Here are the materials for you, figure out what you need
    like it and start creating a card. (Children use the suggested materials: markers, colored paper, glue, wax crayons, etc. to create a holiday card) Don’t forget to sign your card!

    Leading: You made a very wonderful and beautiful card. I suggest taking a photo for memory. Now I ask everyone to try some Hawaiian treats! (children go to the festive table). During the treats, you can hold a Hawaiian-themed quiz competition.

    Leading: Everyone has thoroughly refreshed themselves, gained strength, and I propose to continue the celebration! The game "Limbo" has always been considered a traditional Hawaiian entertainment, let's have some fun and play it.

    Game "Limbo"

    For this game you will need either a long stick or a ribbon that can be decorated with flowers. This tape is first stretched at the height of the children's necks. Children take turns walking under the tape with their faces, bending back a little, trying not to touch it. Then the tape lowers a little, the game is repeated. The participant in the game who touches the tape is eliminated from the entertainment and becomes a spectator. The game continues with a gradual lowering of the tape until one participant remains, who is recognized as the winner. Don't forget about the musical accompaniment

    Leading: We had a great time playing! And I know another Hawaiian entertainment - “Crab Race”. We already know that the oldest craft among the Hawaiians was crab fishing. Now we'll see whose crab runs faster!

    Game "Crab Race"

    To play you will need two toy crabs tied on 2 meter long strings to a wooden stick (you can even use a pencil). The players are divided into pairs. The game is played as a knockout game. The players' task is to bring their crab to the finish line as quickly as possible by winding a string around a pencil. The player whose crab came last is eliminated from the game. The game continues between the winners until the last player wins.

    Leading: This is the intensity of passions! You guys are funny! And I know another exciting and very exciting game! Want to warm up? Then we’ll go to the Hawaiian beach and play Slates.

    Game "Slates"

    The game is played according to the “Musical Chair” type of entertainment, but instead of chairs, slates are laid out in a circle, respectively, there is one less piece than the number of players. The players' task is to move in a circle to cheerful music and, as soon as the music ends, jump with one foot into the slippers. Whoever does not have enough slates is eliminated from the game, the extra slippers are removed, and the game continues until there is only one slate and two players left. The winner is determined.

    Leading: We had a lot of fun! And now I propose to go by sea to the birthday cake. Another Hawaiian entertainment is surfing - riding the waves on a special board. So we'll go to the cake on a surfboard. But since we don’t have a real sea here, the board will be on wheels. ( Children, with the help of a leader and a skateboard, are transported to the other side of the room for a festive tea party. At the same time, a ribbon is tied to the skateboard, one edge of which is held by the leader, and the child is pulled up by the other edge).

    Next comes tea and cake.

    Leading: My dear Hawaiians! After such a wonderful cake, I suggest you dance Hawaiian dances! In Hawaiian, HULA is the dance of love. Let's play the dance game "Aloha Hula".

    Dance game "Aloha Hula"

    The game is played to Hawaiian music (of course, it would be nice for the presenter to show a few traditional movements suitable for Hawaiian dance). The birthday girl starts. She says the words: “Aloha (name of girlfriend or boyfriend)!” and shows one movement. The named friend should repeat this movement, then say “Aloha (name of the next guest)!” and show another movement. The next player says the game phrase again with the name of another guest, repeats the two previous movements and adds his own. The game continues in this way until all the guests have joined.

    After this game you can just dance. If the guests are not tired, you can offer them other competitions for the Hawaiian party. You can end the holiday with a bright fireworks display of rocket balloons!

    Happy Hawaiian Luow!

    Want to create a unique themed party that you haven't done before for your friends?

    Then perhaps you will have a Hawaiian-themed party - coconuts, palm leaves, original cocktails and fruit snacks. Is there anything better than recreating the hot beaches of these unique islands?

    Therefore, today we will tell you how to organize a Hawaiian party at home or outdoors so that you and your guests will remember it for a long time.

    How to throw a Hawaiian party?

    First you need to decide where you want to dance and drink cocktails. If it’s winter outside or just bad weather, then a Hawaiian party at home would be an excellent solution.

    If it’s hot summer outside, then celebrating outside would be a good idea. The beach or any clearing convenient for relaxation is ideal for this. When organizing a party outdoors, some nuances may arise that can easily be eliminated with the help of our recommendations in the article “”.

    To create a festive atmosphere, you need to decorate your house with beautiful flowers, Hawaiian leis and other attributes of the hot islands. You can also use balloons, island paintings, and fresh flowers such as indoor palm trees.

    Do you want to make your own jewelry and accessories? You can find good recommendations for preparing attributes. Don't forget to take care of invitations for your guests, because this is an opportunity to start the party off in a fun way.

    A very simple and effective way to create the right atmosphere is to buy and distribute leis and wreaths to guests at the entrance, which can be purchased here:

    You can also give preference to the usual beach clothing options, adding interesting and colorful accessories that will create a good mood for you and those around you.

    Hawaiian party: script and organization

    Having dealt with decorating the house and creating costumes, you need to proceed to the next important stage - preparing Hawaiian style party plan. To get started, you can look at interesting thematic competitions, which we reviewed in the “” note. After choosing the games that you like, you must make sure that there are attributes for the games - prizes, auxiliary accessories.

    Having placed guests at the tables, it is necessary to allow them to enjoy the invited communication and refreshments. And only after that start the entertainment program.

    A Hawaiian-style party is not just about fresh flowers placed in the corners of the room. Therefore, a special atmosphere is needed that will help create the right mood. Hawaii is a welcoming island of beautiful women and men who traditionally love fun, laughter and dancing. That is why it is necessary to carefully consider various entertainment for guests, including music.

    Music for a Hawaiian party What is more suitable for a warm company?

    Before you throw a Hawaiian party at home, you need to learn the traditional music of the Hawaiian Islands. An excellent musical background will be quiet, light melodies that create comfort, tranquility and harmony. It is to this kind of music that you can dance the Hula dance, which is considered the folk dance of the Hawaiians.

    Album Jack de Mello - Steel Guitar Magic Hawaiian Style (1994) will be a great background. We also recommend downloading the album Kana King & His Hawaiians - The music of Hawaii. More incendiary rhythms are suitable for welcoming guests. Such as:

    Hawaiian-Music-Aloha

    hawaiianguitar-PetiteFluor

    hawaiianguitar-bongo

    hawaiianguitar-alley-cat

    hawaiianguitar-3 Pigs

    And be sure to check out our Hawaiian music page.

    You can also download fiery rhythms in the style of Latin America or just your favorite pop songs. An excellent musical solution would be such performers as Ricky Martin, Shakira and Beyonce.

    Hawaiian party: menu and cocktails

    When considering this, you should carefully consider the number of guests and their placement. It is better to use light and plastic tables, decorated with various Hawaiian attributes. Chairs can be covered with bright pillows or pieces of fabric - this will create an even brighter holiday atmosphere.

    When creating a menu for a Hawaiian party, it is better to give preference to light dishes:

    • Baked chicken, previously marinated in light soy sauce or fruit juice (for example,).
    • Fish baked in the oven or on the fire. These could be, for example, . Give preference to red fish or. Golden crust with lemon slices - what could be tastier?
    • Hawaiian bread with butter, pineapple and ham (for example,).
    • Light vegetable salads like...
    • Cold appetizers (for example), cheese and sausage slices. You can also use ones with assorted fruits or vegetables strung on them.

    Beautiful fruit bowls are a must-have attribute of any Hawaiian table. Decorated with flowers, they become not only the center of everyone’s attention, but also a chic interior solution.

    Another dish worthy of your table will be fruit salad. Mix different fruits of your choice - coconuts, bananas, kiwis, oranges or mangoes and top with unsweetened yogurt. This salad is sure to be an excellent treat both on a hot day and in the winter cold.

    When going through various ideas for a Hawaiian party, you must not forget about such an important element of any party as cocktails. Bright, relaxing, invigorating and non-alcoholic Hawaiian cocktails are exactly what you and your guests need.
