Project on the theme "sea inhabitants". Project “Sea inhabitants” project on the surrounding world (preparatory group) on the topic Project for the senior group sea animals

Children's creative project "World of the Sea" for older children.

I Maintain

Relevance of the problem: Today, environmental issues are very acute. One of the reasons for this is the lack of environmental awareness and culture among people. The foundations of environmental culture are laid in preschool age.
Our country is washed by seas on all sides. And in order to preserve their beauty and wealth, it is necessary to instill in children careful and conscious behavior towards their native nature. But, unfortunately, from conversations with children it follows that they know very little about the flora and fauna of the seas, about the work of the navy. In order to understand the uniqueness of these natural objects and educate environmentally literate behavior, it was developed children's educational project "World of the Sea".
Objective of the project: creating conditions for the education of environmental culture and the development of children’s cognitive and creative abilities in the process of implementing the creative project “World of the Sea”.
Children's project goal: introduce children to the life of sea creatures and the importance of the sea in people's lives.

III. Conclusion

1. Analysis of the results of project activities:
Criteria for assessing the result of project activities:
High level (3 points). The child can easily classify sea creatures by species; justifying your choice. Correlates representatives of marine fauna with their habitat (shore, air and water). Knows the characteristic signs. Names sea creatures based on the image. Without much difficulty he names several maritime professions, and consistently answers the questions posed. Shows interest and emotionally expresses his attitude towards animals, birds and insects.
Intermediate level (2 points). The child sometimes makes minor mistakes when dividing sea life by species; does not always justify his choice. Mainly correlates fauna representatives with their habitat. Can identify some sea inhabitants from pictures and name some maritime professions. Knows the characteristic signs, but sometimes makes inaccuracies in the answers. Answers the questions posed consistently, but sometimes the answers are too brief. Shows interest and emotionally expresses his attitude towards animals, birds and insects.
Low level (1 point). The child often makes mistakes when distributing representatives of the animal world by species; does not always justify his choice. Does not always correlate fauna representatives with their habitat. It is difficult to name characteristic features, name marine inhabitants and professions. It is difficult to answer the questions posed, and if he answers, it is mostly incorrect. Does not show interest and does not express his attitude towards animals, birds and insects.
Calculation of results:
Start of the project- high – 16 points, medium – 9 – 13 points, low – 3 points;
End of the project- high –18 points, average –14 – 16 points, low –12 points.
Comparative diagram of the result of project activities at the preparatory and final stages, %

Conclusion:
Analysis of the results showed that there were significant changes in the knowledge of preschoolers. The data obtained is clearly presented in the diagram.
In contrast to the diagnostic results carried out at the beginning of the project, children’s knowledge increased by almost 40%.
50% of preschoolers achieved a high level of knowledge. The results obtained confirmed the accessibility of the selected content of knowledge about the sea and marine inhabitants for mastering by children of senior preschool age.
The analysis of the results of children with an average level of development has changed downward by 35% and is only 40%.
Children with a low level were identified at the beginning of the project (15%), who are characterized by performing actions through trial and error in violation of safety precautions. This is explained by the difficulty for the child to perceive and master the object itself, as well as insufficient help and attention from parents to these children’s problems.
According to the results of diagnosing at the final stage, children with a low level of development decreased (5%) and amounted to 10%, which indicates the effectiveness and need to continue working with children in this direction.
So, a comparative analysis of the data has proven the effectiveness and efficiency of the developed pedagogical conditions for the formation of knowledge about the sea and marine inhabitants.
The most effective methods and techniques of work are: didactic games, looking at paintings and photographs depicting the sea and marine life, reading specially selected works of fiction followed by conversations on them, specially organized classes, individual work, various forms of work with parents.
2. Products of project activities
Based on the results of the project, a presentation was held at the parent meeting and the pedagogical council, exhibitions of children's works were organized, a model of the underwater world was designed, a dry aquarium was made and a photo exhibition “Make friends with the wave!”

During the implementation of the World of the Sea project, children became acquainted with marine life and the importance of the sea in human life. As a result of conversations and educational activities, verbal communication skills were improved. The children mastered the basic concepts of “sea creatures”, “molluscs”, “corals”, “mammals”, which also helped their communication during the project. Children were given knowledge about the work of sailors on a ship and professions related to the sea.
The children applied the knowledge gained during the project while drawing, modeling, making appliqué and origami. They could easily depict the external structure of the fish and tried to use the color scheme that the animal has in nature.
A lot of work was done with parents. Recommendations were developed for them on what precautions should be taken when being at sea with a child. A parent meeting was also held on the topic of the project. Parents helped in creating the photo exhibition: “Make friends with the wave!”
At the beginning and end of this project, a diagnostic was carried out, which showed that after the “World of the Sea” project, the children’s knowledge of this topic increased. This project showed quite good results Project in the senior group on the topic "Trees and shrubs in spring"
