Pedagogical College Alexandria. Educational institutions of I-II levels of accreditation in the Kirovograd region
In 1963, a five-story building was built - pedagogical school No. 4, designed to train young specialists - educators for preschool institutions in the capital, in conditions of an acute shortage of teaching staff.
For more than twenty years, Tatyana Alekseevna Finogeeva was the permanent director of the pedagogical college. From year to year, the developing experience in the pedagogical school turned into sustainable traditions that reflected the social orientation, spirit, style of the educational institution, consolidated the achievements of the staff, and preserved them.
In 1981, in the education of children from 6 years old in the country, there was an urgent need for the training of teachers for primary schools. In this regard, in 1981, a school department was opened at the pedagogical school, training primary school teachers for Moscow schools.
Currently, the director of the educational institution is Viktor Grigorievich Rudinsky, Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences.
The system of educational work that has developed at the school, which provides an integrated approach to education, was presented at the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy (VDNKh) in the “Public Education” pavilion. Teachers of the school: Aksenova A.K., Finogeeva T.A. were awarded gold and silver medals from VDNKh for the experience presented.
By Order No. 945 of the USSR State Committee on Public Education dated December 26, 1989, the pedagogical school was included in an experiment to test a model of a new type of educational institution - “higher pedagogical school (college)” and a model of end-to-end training of specialists with higher education in the pedagogical college - pedagogical university system .
Today, Pedagogical College No. 4 is a multidisciplinary educational institution of a new type.
The college employs Doctors of Pedagogical Sciences, Candidates of Pedagogical and Psychological Sciences, Honored Teachers of the Russian Federation, Excellent Students of Public Education, and Honorary Workers of Secondary Vocational Education. Many college teachers were awarded Diplomas of the Moscow Grant laureate in the field of science and technology in education, Certificates of Honor from the Moscow Department of Education.
The training of young specialists at the college is carried out by 75 teachers, of which 65 have the highest qualification category, 43 are excellent students of public education and honorary workers of secondary vocational education.

Currently, 29 sample programs have been published, according to which teachers of pedagogical colleges in Russia work. Among them: “Children’s neuropathology”, “Psychopathology of childhood”, “Fundamentals of genetics”, “Theoretical foundations of an initial course in mathematics” and many others.
Every year, Pedagogical College No. 4 takes part in a wide variety of creative, professional, scientific and sports competitions.
Over the years of the college's activity, more than 12 thousand teachers and educators have become its graduates.
The college has its own traditions, including the annual College Week and various student creativity competitions. A museum of ethnography was opened in the pedagogical college in February 1994. The purpose of its creation is to familiarize students with the history of life, morals, traditions and customs of the peoples of Russia. An international youth club operates on the basis of the Museum of Ethnography ETHNOSPHERE.
Students are interested in studying the heroic past of our Motherland, carefully preserve military relics, and collect material about the feat of our people in the Great Patriotic War. The college has created a museum of the Military Glory of the 8th Mechanized Order of Alexandria of the Kutuzov Corps, and collected materials about its military journey. The College of Education has one of the largest library collections.
The most convenient conditions for independent work with literature have been created for students in a spacious reading room, which is equipped with Internet access.
